Keke Palmer is set to embark on her highly-anticipated Big Boss Tour, bringing her inspiring and empowering visual album Big Boss to life on stage. Following a sold-out show at the iconic Howard Theatre in Washington, DC, the tour will kick off in Oakland, CA, on Sept. 10th, 2023.
The tour will span major cities across North America, including Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and more, before culminating in Keke’s hometown of Chicago, IL, on Sept. 26th. Fans can get early access to tickets through an artist presale on Thursday, August 3rd, with general ticket sales beginning on Friday, Aug. 4th.
The Big Boss Tour will offer VIP and meet & greet packages, allowing fans to connect with Keke and take their concert experience to the next level. The tour promises to bring to life fan favorites like “Standards” and “Waiting” from the Big Boss visual album, as well as tracks from her previous EP releases Virgo Tendencies and Lauren.

Darius Jackson recently admitted that he holds Keke Palmer to a “perfect standard” in the latest episode of the actress’ podcast, Baby, This is Keke Palmer. The couple recorded the interview prior to their recent viral spat, which was centered around Palmer’s trip to Las Vegas. During her time in the city, she attended an Usher concert in a sheer dress. Jackson complained about it on social media afterward and the two unfollowed each other.
“At first, it definitely was hard because it could all be very overwhelming,” Jackson said on the podcast. “It was definitely overwhelming and intense at first.” Palmer agreed by chiming in, “It was.”

“And it’s like, you almost feel that pressure of needing to be perfect. And so, it really confused me and infiltrated my mind because not only did I have to hold myself to that perfect standard, I was also holding you to a perfect standard as well,” he continued. “So, any moment of flaw on my side or on your side it was World War III because it’s like, man, now the world sees us.” From there Palmer brought up the importance of privacy in the relationship.
As for their recent dispute, Jackson had written on social media: “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.” When he started receiving backlash for the comment, he elaborated: “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe.” The spat is just the latest drama that has stemmed from Usher’s residency in Las Vegas.

Namely, his schtick of pulling women out of the crowd to serenade them on stage has drawn plenty of scrutiny after one of those women, Keke Palmer, was criticized by her boyfriend for her wardrobe choices. This led to days of discourse, and perhaps inevitably, to excited anticipation of the next lucky lady — or potential backlash victim.
The latest is model Winnie Harlow, who attended the show with her boyfriend, NBA player Kyle Kuzma, over the weekend. She reposted a fan-recorded clip in which Usher began to mosey over but gave up on the approach as Harlow scooched over into Kuzma’s lap. She gave the post a jovial caption, which read: Figured out the secret to the Usher concert.. sit in your mans lap Mamas. He said ‘She Chose!!!’ Okayyyy”
The whole mess started last weekend, when a video of Palmer slow-dancing with Usher in a sheer dress went viral. Palmer’s partner (and child’s father), Darius Jackson, groused, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” on Twitter, leading to such a backlash against him that he deleted his accounts (but not before doubling down on the criticism, whining, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is.”)

In fact, he painted Usher as the true villain to blame in this whole whirlwind. “The man walks around the residency scouting on a straight search and destroy mission,” he said on The Breakfast Club. “Looking for women to find so he can pull them out of the crowd, serenade them and destroy their household.
