Yung Miami Tells JT Why Scorpio Is Her Favourite Zodiac Sign To Date

In their music, the City Girls often rap about wreaking havoc in the lives of men with their salacious scamming antics. In real life, however, JT has long been boo’d up with fellow rapper Lil Uzi Vert. She even recently hinted at wanting them to put a wedding ring on her finger. As for Yung Miami, she’s spent over a year in a situationship with Diddy, despite him welcoming a baby with another woman.

Both women have spoken candidly about the ups and downs of their love lives through the years. Earlier this week, the City Girls sat down for a Complex interview. At the time, they discussed some of their romantic preferences. “GOAT zodiac sign to date?” Miami asked her partner in rhyme in the video below. “Sagitarrius, what?” the “Ex For A Reason” artist responded, despite the fact that Lil Uzi is a Leo. Clearly, JT sees herself as the prize, as she celebrates her birthday each year on December 3.

For her answer, the Caresha Please host (an Aquarius) revealed that she prefers to spend her time with Scorpios. “They womanizers,” Miami explained. Unsurprisingly, her “Act Bad” collaborator just so happens to fall under that sign, and he’s built a reputation for himself as a ladies’ man within the industry. Earlier this year, the mother of two confirmed that she and Diddy had put an end to their unique situation, only for her to attend the Met Gala on his arm shortly after.

Yung Miami may not publicly claim Sean Combs as her man, but still, she’s never been afraid to flaunt the ways in which he spoils her. Most recently, it was the Maybach he purchased for the City Girl back in 2022 that had her bragging about how good her “pu**y” is. Read more about that at the link below, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.

Stunna Girl Adds JT To New Remix Of “Like Dat”

It is no secret that the City Girls are some of the most in-your-face female rappers in the current landscape. Their consistent energy and enthusiasm can be found in nearly every song in their discography. The bars consist of money, beauty, and partying, which has helped skyrocket them to fame and popularity. The duo of JT and Yung Miami easily continues to be an influence for many up-and-coming female artists and that does not seem to be slowing down any time soon.

However, JT is not alongside her long-time friend and partner, Yung Miami for this new remix of “Like Dat” by Stunna Girl. In fact, both have their own solo material and separate feature credits as well. For example, JT made an appearance on Summer Walker’s “Ex For A Reason.” Now, JT is back with another solo feature credit on the second remix.

Stunna Girl And JT Got Brags For Days

The first rework of the 2023 single by Stunna Girl saw French Montana hop onto the track on July 28. Just a few weeks later, we have a new version and it might be better. Both get extra braggadocious, flaunting their wealth, status and of course, their beauty. Stunna Girl’s first verse remains the same but her second verse is shortened to make time for JT to attack the beat.

City Girls’ JT Told A Fan To ‘Stop Begging’ For Free Merch: ‘Don’t Ask Me For Sh*t You Won’t Ask A Man’

City Girls’ JT is never one to hold back, and her recent Instagram Live was no exception. While she was chatting to fans earlier this week, one reportedly asked the rapper to send some merch — which she quickly addressed.

“Stop begging,” JT told the fan and the audience, according to HipHopDX. “You know what I don’t like? When a motherf*cker scared to beg a man but they’ll get on here and beg me. Don’t ask me for sh*t you won’t ask a man for, baby. Don’t ask me for nothing you won’t ask a man for. If you ain’t got no courage to ask the man that you texting or talking to for anything… do not think you can ask me for it because I ain’t got it just like that man.”

“The thing is don’t ask me for nothing that you can’t ask that man,” she added. “How bout you ask that man to buy you some merch? When the site open back up, boom. There you go.”

Those who have since seen the video aren’t fully here for JT’s reaction either, with one user responding, “These new artists can’t perform for sh*t & go out their way to alienate fans.” Another added, “I’d say she too fine to be so corny.”

Kali Uchis Taps JT And El Alfa For Latin-Flavored Banger “Muñekita”

Earlier this year Kali Uchis promised fans not just one, but two new albums this year. She also communicated to fans that one project would be entirely in English and the other entirely in Spanish. So far she seems to be living up to all of those promises. Back in March, she dropped Red Moon In Venus an English language embrace of Kali’s R&B stylings. It has a similar sonic palette to her critically acclaimed breakout project Isolation from 2018. Red Moon has features from Omar Apollo, Summer Walker, and Don Toliver and the album became Kali’s highest-charting project to date when it debuted at number 4 on the Billboard 200.

Now Kali Uchis appears to be on her way to releasing a second album and just as she promised, it will be in Spanish. Details on the album aren’t available yet, but its lead single is officially out. The track is called “Muñekita” and features a pair of guests who make impressive contributions. JT of rap duo City Girls and dembow superstar El Alfa join Kali on the track. Together the trio create a tropical Latin trap banger that fans have already heaved praise onto. The song marks Kali’s first new Spanish language song since her 2020 album Sin Miedo (del Amor y Otros Demonios) ∞. You can listen to Kali’s new single below.

Kali Uchis Returns To Spanish Songs

In the press release dropped alongside the song Kali elaborated on how she chooses collaborators. “I love bringing artists together that you’d least expect. El Alfa is a Latino legend and JT is someone I’ve admired forever. Both of them are known for their summer hits and high energy, so I’m incredibly excited to bring them together for a fun, sexy song like this.”

Kali Uchis Kicks Off Her Spanish Music Era With El Alfa And JT On ‘Muñekita’

Earlier this year, Kali Uchis teased that she had two albums in the works — one in English and one in Spanish. Back in March, she released her third studio album, Red Moon In Venus. Tonight (August 4), it looks like Uchis is kicking off her Spanish era.

On her new single “Muñekita,” Uchis has teamed up with JT of City Girls and Dominican rapper El Alfa for a sexy summer anthem, delivering on the Latin flavor.

Uchis and Alfa ride various rhythmic beats as they switch throughout the song, offering raunchy lines throughout the song.

“Tu angelita es lo que necesitas / Dale, gata, dale, muñequita,” sings Uchis on the song’s chorus.

Alfa’s verse is also full of raunchy one-liners and ad-libs, leading to JT’s contribution, on which, she offers a “sana sana, colita de rana” benediction to her haters.

The song collaboration came about after Uchis had DM’ed JT and Alfa various times over the years. Uchis first showed the track to JT, who recorded a verse in Uchis’ home studio, and then later shared the song with Alfa, who made his contribution shortly after.

“I love bringing artists together that you’d least expect,” said Uchis in a statement. “El Alfa is a Latino legend and JT is someone I’ve admired forever. Both of them are known for their summer hits and high energy, so I’m incredibly excited to bring them together for a fun, sexy song like this.”

JT Launches Empowering Initiative to Support Formerly Incarcerated Women

JT City Girls

In a powerful display of social responsibility, Grammy-winning artist and activist JT has announced the launch of a groundbreaking initiative to provide support and opportunities for formerly incarcerated women. JT’s new project seeks to create a more inclusive and compassionate community by recognizing the challenges and stigmas these women face upon reentry into society.

The initiative, aptly named “Second Chances,” strives to address the unique barriers faced by women who have served their time and are ready to rebuild their lives. Often overlooked and marginalized, formerly incarcerated women encounter significant hurdles when seeking housing, employment, and education and healthcare. JT aims to bridge these gaps and foster a nurturing environment that encourages their reintegration into society.

“Second Chances” will offer a multifaceted approach to support these women on their journey to empowerment. Central to the initiative is a comprehensive job training and mentorship program. By partnering with businesses across various industries, JT intends to create employment opportunities that embrace these women’s unique skills and experiences while challenging the misconceptions associated with their pasts.

Moreover, the initiative will collaborate with social workers and legal experts to provide counseling and legal aid services to address any legal complications that may hinder their progress. Recognizing the importance of holistic healing, JT will also offer therapeutic support, focusing on emotional well-being and personal growth.

Education will play a pivotal role in this endeavor. Scholarships and educational grants will be made available to help formerly incarcerated women pursue higher education or vocational training, empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed.

JT’s commitment to this cause is deeply personal. Having faced adversity and struggled to find her own footing before achieving success, she knows firsthand the transformative power of a second chance. Her advocacy extends beyond just a financial commitment, as she actively engages with the women to instill hope and confidence.

The “Second Chances” initiative reflects JT’s profound belief in every individual’s capacity for change and redemption. By addressing the societal biases that limit the opportunities for formerly incarcerated women, she is shining a light on an often-neglected issue and challenging us all to embrace empathy, compassion, and support for those seeking a fresh start. In doing so, JT sets an inspiring example for other public figures and demonstrates how art and activism can unite to create a more equitable and inclusive society.

JT Called Out Lil Uzi Vert’s Rumored Former Fling On Twitter For Being A ‘Lame Ass Hoe’ Begging For Attention From The Rapper

JT’s latest single may be titled “No Bars,” but the rapper had endless zingy one-liners for her partner Lil Uzi Vert’s former fling. According to a Twitter Voice message recorded by JT, a woman named Saudiah B has been attempting to grab the attention of Uzi.

“A have to do a voice note for this lame ass b*tch because it’s too much to type. This b*tch done built up the courage to write me back three years later. You lame ass hoe,” he says in the recording, referring to a series of tweets from the woman.

Lil Uzi Vert’s mention of the woman in his 2020 Future duet “Marni on Me” led some fans to believe that she was romantically linked to him, although Uzi and JT were, in fact, a couple. The lyrics in question read, “You know I got the racks on me (whoa, whoa) / Swag like Saudiah B (Saudiah B) / Swaggin’ on your ho like B (yeah, yeah) / Still got Rick my feet (my feet).”

After JT was caught on camera throwing her phone at Uzi, vowing to end their relationship during the 2023 BET Awards. However, it seems like the couple quietly worked through their issues. However, one of Lil Uzi Vert’s rumored ex-lovers didn’t quite get the memo, or so JT believes.

In a note posted to Saudiah’s page, she addressed the rumors, writing, “I was gonna leave it alone, but since you think it’s okay to play with me on social media…Again f*ck it! You constantly run with this side b*tch narrative which you know isn’t true. You dm’d me, stalked me down in the mall, etc. Any chance you get, you crash out literally (you know what I’m talking about). I don’t and have not dealt with Uzi. I know it takes a village, but keep it cute. I’m clearly a trigger, but from here on out, when my name is mentioned, skip over it!”

Following her tweet, JT didn’t hold back from giving her side of the story.

Her friend and group member, Yung Miami, chimed in to stop JT from addressing the young lady, tweeting, “Stop arguing with that hoe @ThegirlJT. Uzi didn’t do nothing for her, and neither can you! Leave a b*tch where they pathetic at!”

Lil Uzi Vert is a Warner Music artist. Uproxx is an independent subsidiary of Warner Music Group.

JT Plots Her World Takeover In Her ‘No Bars’ Video

It’s the beginning of a new era for JT of City Girls. After sharing her solo single “No Bars,” she’s already garnered much buzzy for her quick-witted punchlines and fiery flows. Today (July 15) she has shared the video for her viral new track.

In the video, she is seen dancing behind blue bars, rocking matching hair and a hoodie. This is juxtaposed with clips of JT partying and meeting fans across London and Paris, emphasizing the she and City Girls have become a worldwide sensation.

In a statement accompanying the song’s release this past week, JT said she hopes the song is the beginning of a new chapter in her artistry, and leads to more people taking her seriously in hip-hop.

“I hope this freestyle finds you in a great place and is a start of the respect I deserve in music,” she said. “I love music! I love my voice! I love poppin my sh*t.”

In addition to the song and the video, JT also launched No Bars Reform, a program designed to help formerly incarcerated women readjust to society by providing them access to employment opportunities, housing, and mental health services.

You can see the video for “No Bars” above.

JT Of City Girls Launches No Bars Reform To Help Formerly Incarcerated Women Re-Enter Society

JT of Miami rap duo City Girls is helping formerly incarcerated women turn their lives around. Following the release of her scorching single, “No Bars,” JT has launched No Bars Reform to help these women re-enter society.

JT previously served a two-year prison sentence for credit card fraud, as City Girls began taking off. According to No Bars Reform’s official website, the program will help these women through employment opportunities, housing, social services, and therapy.

Back in March, JT took to Twitter to share that she herself had recently begun seeing a therapist herself.

“Super excited about starting therapy,” she said. “I encourage you all to do the same!”

On a related note, JT wrote in a statement shared to No Bars Reform that she hopes her new music will lead to more audiences taking her seriously as an artist.

“I’d read the craziest things about myself and would want to scream,” JT said, but instead I went to the studio and popped my sh*t! I know most of y’all heard it but for those who haven’t I hope this freestyle finds you in a great place and is a start of the respect I deserve in music. I love music! I love my voice! I love poppin my shit.”
