City Girls’ Best Collaborations, From Doja Cat To Moneybagg Yo

Miami-based hip hop duo City Girls has been making waves in the music industry since their “Act Up” debut in 2018. One of the key factors contributing to the Quality Control artists’ success has been their impressive collaborative efforts. The ladies responsible for Miami-Dade’s musical revival blessed Megan Thee Stallion with braggadocio bars on “Do It On The Tip.” The 2022 track went on to chart at No 92. Other popular joint records include their “Shisha” feature on the bounce-heavy Saucy Santana track and “Female Goat” with labelmate Lakeyah.

From Cardi B to Usher, City Girls have shared the mic with some of the biggest in the game to produce hits. Now, fans await more feature-riddled anthems from the two after they previewed a new single at Rolling Loud California. Recently, Yung Miami said their forthcoming project is “gonna hit different.” Revisit their hottest collabs the beauties have blessed us with as we await yet another City Girl Summer.

“Flewed Out” ft. Lil Baby (2020)

Released in 2020, “Flewed Out” celebrates the luxurious lifestyle City Girls and Lil Baby have attained through their music careers. The lyrics center around the theme of being “flewed out”: getting flown out to exotic locations and indulging in high-end shopping and dining experiences. The City Girls’ verses are filled with confidence and sass. Lil Baby’s offering provides contrast with his more laid-back flow. The term “flewed out” became one of the most popular phrases for months following the single’s release.

“Pussy Talk” ft. Doja Cat (2020)

City Girls tapped rapper and singer Doja Cat for “Pussy Talk,” the lead single off their highest-charting album, 2020’s City On Lock. The Southside-produced track sees the artists trading verses about their sexual prowess and independence with an equally colorful visual. The title refers to their frank and explicit lyrics about sex and power dynamics. Those bars were delivered with the utmost confidence from all three. Overall, “Pussy Talk” is a bold and assertive anthem that celebrates female sexuality and empowerment. It showcases the unique and distinctive styles of City Girls and Doja.

“Said Sum (Remix)” Moneybagg Yo ft. City Girls & DaBaby (2020)

Moneybagg Yo’s “Said Sum” is arguably one of the Memphis rhymer’s most viral songs. It gained significant traction on social media and streaming platforms through the beginning of the pandemic lockdown. This led to a remix with City Girls and DaBaby, who contributed their signature styles to the track with bold, unapologetic verses about financial independence. The track’s infectious piano riff creates the perfect backdrop for calling out those who try to dim the rappers’ lights. Additionally, fans of City Girls songs have also called JT’s verse on the remix one of the best in her career as she switches up her flow.

“Good Love” ft. Usher (2022)

The ladies bring Miami heat to Atlanta with this Freaknik-inspired single. Yung Miami and JT trade flirtatious verses with R&B legend Usher on “Good Love,” sampling Lathun’s 1997 hit “Freak It.” The Georgia native’s smooth vocals balance out City Girls’ explicit bars as they talk to potential prospects. Yung Miami even echos Uncle Luke’s unforgettable “Don’t stop, get it, get it” line from 91’s “I Wanna Rock.” The accompanying music video was filmed at Atlanta’s iconic Cascade Skating Rink, adding another nostalgic touch to the party tune.

“Throat Baby (Go Baby) [Remix]” – BRS Kash, DaBaby, & City Girls (2021)

Relative Atlanta newcomer BRS Kash flooded the airwaves with his fast-spreading track “Throat Baby (Go Baby)” with DaBaby. The song catapulted even more once City Girls hopped on the remix nearly six months later. The women’s sultry, suggestive lyrics shocked listeners as they boasted about their oral performance skills, adding another XXX-rated singalong to their racy catalog. City Girls’ feature premiered on Kash’s debut mixtape, Kash Only, to the praise of many-including rapper Boosie. After its release, the Louisiana hip-hop vet alerted fans that she “made the rawest line on the remix.”

“Top Notch” ft. Fivio Foreign (2022)

City Girls’ “Top Notch” followed the monumental success of 2021’s “Twerkulator.” It also sees the girls in the concrete jungle for their second collab with a New York native. The duo teamed up with Fivio Foreign for the bop, making it their first release of 2022. It also marked their first with the Brooklyn spitter. “Top Notch” was the start of a new era for Miami and JT, who appeared on the drill-infused beat with intense attitude as they warn their haters to steer clear. Though the single didn’t reach much commercial success, fans of the women praised the two for their versatility.

“Twerk” ft. Cardi B (2018)

Contestably in City Girls’ Top 5, “Twerk” grew to become their second-highest charting song on the Billboard Hot 100. The sexual innuendos on the “Choppa Style”-sampled hit were celebrated by wxmen galore during their inaugural City Girl summer. After Yung Miami raps, Cardi B reflects on nights as a dancer in her verse, with an extra assist in the NSFW music video. Yung Miami and Cardi flaunt their derrières in animalistic body paint amongst other talented dancers while JT served the remainder of her federal prison stint. “Twerk” peaked at No. 29 shortly after and eventually became certified platinum.

JT Turns Up With Her Driver: Watch

JT is quick to bring the energy when it comes to turning up. Not only that, anybody can get it when it comes to JT clapping back at fans. If it’s one that JT does not play about, it’s her relationship with Hip-Hop rock star Lil Uzi Vert. Recently, since Uzi has been branching it with his new alter ego “Leslie,” JT has had to check a couple of social media users. The pair are a modern Bonnie and Clyde (minus the dying part). They’re each other’s ride or die to the fullest. Whether they’re spoiling each other with lavish luxuries or defending each other from menacing keyboard warriors, they got each other’s back.

“Uzi got her dressed like the ‘Bride of Chucky’” one commenter tweeted. While garnering a mere 1.2k likes for the diss, it landed on JT’s radar. However, she had time that day. “It’s really not funny as it was years ago!” She replied to the keyboard assassin. JT continued her rant, “B***h I had on my outfit for my show get off his d**k obsessed asf!!” Moreover, that wasn’t the end of the City Girls’ rhymer social media terror. A couple of days later, JT came for some more haters talking trash. She clapped back at the internet troll for making comments that their baby looks like Finesse2Tymes.

JT’s Driver Bumpin’ Young Dolph

In other news, JT recently posted a video of her turning up to Young Dolph (R.I.P) with none other than her driver yesterday morning. The footage has gone viral. Reportedly, the video shows JT in the backseat of an assumed rideshare vehicle. However, this isn’t your everyday driver. The car is draped in lights akin to club lighting. The driver, an older gentleman, is spittin’ bars from Young Dolphs breakout single, “Preach.”

“I can’t stop/Won’t stop, can’t stop/Never hear me complainin’ ’bout what I ain’t got,” rapped the driver, with JT hyping him up in the back. She captioned the vid with “Yeah ern” with multiple laughing emojis. Although, it’s unclear whether or not her driver received five stars from the rapper.

JT Puts Her Mugshots On A Hoodie: Photos

It’s City Girls season. It’s been a minute since the Florida-based duo shared new music, though they’ve previously promised that more heat will be on the way this summer. During their set at Rolling Loud California, they teased a single called “Piñata.” Now that Yung Miami has confirmed her split from Diddy, we’re sure that even more fire bars are on the way from our favourite female partners in rhyme. Aside from fans begging JT and Caresha to drop something, they’ve also had plenty to say about their style as of late – particularly the formers.

Not only was the “Ex For A Reason” collaborator recently compared to the Bride of Chucky for leaning into a more gothic look, but now she’s also facing criticism for wearing her mugshots on a hoodie. In a photo reposted on @theshaderoom, JT wears a dark sweater with at least eight photos of her in jail plastered across the front. Many of them see her smirking for the camera, while others – notably as she got older – look far more serious.

JT Isn’t Ashamed of Her Past

As many are noting in the comments, the 30-year-old looks notably different in the mugshots compared to now. Obviously, age is a factor, but she’s also undergone some plastic surgery since coming up to alter her appearance. “Got the nerve to call somebody’s baby ugly,” one user wrote, referencing a spat from earlier this weekend during which JT shaded Finesse2tymes and an infant online. “Remember, you’re not ugly. Just broke,” another person quipped, reflecting on the starlet’s glow-up.

“I wonder how old she was in #3?” someone else asked. “She looks about 13-14 in that one,” they pointed out. While the City Girl has spoken candidly about her past scamming antics and the broken home she grew up in, she’s proudly since turned her life around. She recently revealed her plans to start therapy and has never held back when defending those that she loves from critics and trolls. Keep scrolling to read more social media reactions to JT’s new hoodie. Afterward, tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Finesse2tymes & His Girl Diss JT & Lil Uzi Vert: “Who Man You Calling Ugly? Have You Seen Yours?”

JT is best known for the bars she’s created as one-half of City Girls, but the Florida native certainly knows how to run her mouth outside of the studio too. Earlier this week, she found herself in the midst of some nasty internet drama after comparing a baby to Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes, calling both of them “ugly” in response to an internet troll hating on her partner, Lil Uzi Vert. “Ugly baby and dead father 😿,” she wrote. “That baby looks like Finesse 2 x’s. Please leave me alone. I’m not bothering no one 🙂 ❤.”

Following that, the “Twerkulator” hitmaker headed over to Twitter to share some thoughts. “I’m the most unproblematic person ever,” her rant began. “Idgaf ’bout nothing, but if I find time to throw a shot back I will. Nothing personal all love.” In another post, JT went on to say, “[People] will constantly pick on you and call you upset when you respond. I’m not mad, have no reason to be mad! But you mad ’cause I’m not giving you the clarification you want? So you gone constantly bully me for what you wanna hear? Nah, Ima talk about you bad without clearin’ up nothin’. I’m innocent.”

JT Throws Shade While Defending Lil Uzi Vert

The 30-year-old may think that she’s innocent, but Finesse2tymes and his new girl definitely don’t agree. “JT, WHO MAN YOU CALLING UGLY?” FNG Shugga wrote on her Instagram Story after reading the rap diva’s comments. “HAVE YOU SEEN YOURS😕?” she also asked, seemingly poking fun at LUV’s unique new Leslie Chow alter ego they’ve been sporting since Rolling Loud Thailand. The “How to Act” hitmaker also defended himself, threatening to “break” JT in a post on his own profile. “Guess she mad ’cause I said can’t do nun [with] no skinny ho 🤷🏽‍♂️😂,” he typed over a black screen.

As if that weren’t enough, the southern lyricist also addressed the situation during an IG Live session a few hours ago. “Ain’t gone let no hoe get a pass… I’ll stand on a n*gga in the same way,” he told viewers tuning in. Scroll on to see what FNG Shugga and Finesse2tymes had to say for yourself, and check back later for more hip-hop news updates.

Yung Miami Gives Update On New City Girls Album

Yung Miami needs zero help making headlines. However, it’s not her hit talk show Caresha Please that has fans raving. Although her talk show has made for many memorable moments. From talks of golden showers from music moguls to light-hearted chats with Meaghan The Stallion, it’s easy to see how Yung Miami can’t stay out of the headlines. This time around the one half of City Girls has come out in an interview with The Cut discussing things fans have been dying to know. In the interview Yung Miami confirmed that the album would be dropping this summer, but kept the exact release date on the hush-hush.

When asked about the album’s release, Miami responded in classic City Girls fashion, “I don’t know like, it’s coming and it will sometime this summer-for real, for real, for real.” She continued, “When you’re doing a project, takes time. We’re trying to sit through it and make sure that’s what we want to put out. It’s gonna hit different.” Not only that she initially cleared that air confirming that her relationship with Diddy has ended along with clarifying her “golden shower” comments that had “Pee Diddy” trending on the internet. Yung Miami told the publication that she never said Diddy was the one she did it with but mentioned that sex is a part of life. Although, she did admit that maybe she does talk about it too much, but hey everyone’s got their own experiences.

Yung Miami Talks New Album And More With The Cut

Fans have been waiting eagerly and somewhat patiently for a new City Girls album. Especially after their stellar performance at the 2023 Dreamville Festival. Furthermore, the premier of their docuseries RapCaviar Presents, on Hulu aired on March 30th stirring up even more buzz for the rap duo. The CityGirls are scheduled to perform at Rolling Loud Miami on July 22nd. Fans are speculating that will be when Yung Miami and JT make their return.

Yung Miami kept a tight lip on the exact release day, teasing, “Girl, I ain’t even gonna tell.” Evidently, it’s clear that the City Girls are taking their time with their new album. However, she says it’s the best representation of their music and their brand. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait like the rest of us. But Yung Miami promises this record’s going to “Hit Different” which is more than enough assurance for fans patiently waiting. Have you peeped Yung Miami’s interview? Let us know if you’re excited for the new City Girls album in the comments below.

JT Claps Back At Haters Dissing Her & Lil Uzi Vert’s Style

If there’s one person JT doesn’t play about, it’s her partner Lil Uzi Vert. The pair have always been each other’s ride or die. They take turns spoiling one another with luxurious and romantic gifts. Elsewhere, they’ve been defending one another from the countless internet trolls causing problems online. What many have come to love about the unconventional couple is their unique style, which even saw the Philadelphia native debuting a new alter ego, Leslie, during his trip to Thailand this past weekend.

While LUV took over the stage at Rolling Loud, their girlfriend and her partner in rhymer, Yung Miami, lit things up at Revolve Festival. For her appearance, JT wore her hair in a sleek black middle-parted style, her stunning facial features accentuated by a dark, glamorous beat. Around her neck, she wore a massive cross pendant, and her outfit perfectly matched the vibe, consisting of all-black garments. “She is stunning oh my God,” one Twitter user wrote when sharing an image of the City Girl with their followers. Another person quote tweeted the post, though their thoughts on JT’s appearance were far less kind.

Twitter Disses JT’s Dark New Look

“Uzi got her dressed like the ‘Bride of [Chucky]’,” they wrote. While it earned them minimal clout in the form of 1.2K likes, it also got an aggressive clap back from JT herself. “It’s really not funny as it was years ago!” she said to the hater. “Bitch I had on my outfit for my show, get off his f*ck obsessed asf!!!!” After the “Twerkulator” artist unleashed her rage, the OP clarified, “I ain’t say [you] look ugly [with] the gothic style lol.” Regardless, the 30-year-old was clear that she’s tired of hearing the discourse about her relationship. “How ’bout you don’t say shit and go sale your socks in peace!” she ended the conversation.

It seems JT was in a mood today (April 18), as she also had time to come for someone who was seemingly trying to defend her lashing out at haters. “One thing I love about JT, she always gonna step behind the people she love,” they tweeted. “It’s just sad when the energy not reciprocated. Before long, the “Act Up” artist entered the chat. “Bitch shut uppppppp, you don’t even know me to care if energy is reciprocated,” the City Girl pointed out. “Go make sure your family straight. Get off the internet, fake caring about strangers ’cause [I don’t give a f*ck] about you!!!!!!” See the drama for yourself below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

City Girls Make Headlines With Awkward Dreamville Festival Interview: Video

JT and Yung Miami, best known to the world as the City Girls, have come a long way since their humble beginnings in 2017. In 2023 so far, they’ve already performed at Rolling Loud California (where they previewed an upcoming release called “Piñata”), as well as this past weekend’s Dreamville Festival. Not only did the girls join Usher on stage during his headlining set to rap “Good Love,” but they also showed out during a performance of their own, which heard them revisit plenty of fan favourites from their discography.

During the show, the City Girls wore matching brown leather looks, complete with sultry thigh-high boots and flashy silver chains. For her glam, Caresha wore her long black hair in waves down to her booty. JT’s short, chocolate brown locks were in soft, shoulder-length curls. Following the concert, the partners in rhyme sat down for an interview, though the cameras caught Lil Uzi Vert’s girlfriend in a world of her own as the media personalities asked them questions.

Awkward Interview Moment

“Who are your favourites right now?” the host asked the “Act Up” artists, leading to an undeniably hilarious moment of silence from everyone. “Whoever wants to go first,” she later added as the tension continued to build. “I think it’s cool, I love to see everybody thriving!” Yung Miami said. “I feel like everybody deserves a chance, so to see everyone trying to feed their family and do what they love, it’s an amazing thing.” As for who she has her eye on that’s on the come up right now, the City Girl said Lola Brooke and Ice Spice.

During their time at Rolling Loud, the rap duo went through a similar encounter with another media personality, Tamera Kissen, who was accused of acting “unprofessionally” while speaking with her subjects at the California festival. In defence of her unusual behaviour on camera, the 28-year-old wrote on Twitter, “I STILL GOT PAID.” Keep scrolling for more photos and videos from the City Girls’ weekend at Dreamville Festival, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.

Lil Uzi Vert Supports JT On Her Therapy Journey

As hard as it may seem to believe at times, most celebrities truly are just like us. In fact, many of those in the limelight who struggle with mental health issues to begin with find their conditions only exacerbated by the constant pressure that comes along with their career. While some opt to keep their problems to themselves, others often use social media to share life updates and be vulnerable with their fans, simultaneously encouraging them to do the same. JT of City Girls fame did just that on Twitter, sharing some details about how she plans to improve her mental health in the coming months.

“Super excited about starting therapy,” she wrote in a tweet last Saturday (March 25). “I encourage you all to do the same🤞🏾!” the “Twerkulator” hitmaker added, making it abundantly clear that there’s no shame in talking to someone about your feelings. While JT didn’t explicitly share what she wants to get off her chest in any upcoming appointments, her life before fame came with plenty of rough moments that are likely still weighing on her. Additionally, her newfound place in the spotlight beside Yung Miami certainly comes with its own downsides for the partners in rhyme.

JT Confirms Her Plans for Therapy

After the 30-year-old shared her excitement about beginning her therapy adventure, countless followers showered her with praise. “It’s literally necessary for everybody, [I don’t know] why people be acting like they don’t need it,” one user pointed out in JT’s replies. Another person chimed in, “I already do, for two years now. It’s life-changing [for real] sis. I pray your experience is as well.” Aside from the fan love, the rap diva also has a strong support system in the form of her long-term partner, Lil Uzi Vert.

The Philadelphia native spoke with TMZ earlier this week, at which time they asked their thoughts on JT seeking mental health help. Uzi sounds to be in full support of their girlfriend and even noted that they’ll be in attendance at some sessions to help out and perhaps work through issues of their own. As for anyone else considering therapy? The “Just Wana Rock” hitmaker thinks there’s no time like the present to work on yourself. “You just gotta do it,” he advised anyone watching. “You just have to really embrace yourself and love yourself.” Check out everything LUV had to say in the video below and tap back in later for more pop culture news updates.
