JT Recalls Feeling “Exempt” From Jail While She Scammed People

JT recently spoke on how she felt “exempt” from jail during a time when she scammed people to hustle. Moreover, she discussed broader themes of incarceration and generational issues on the Angie Martinez IRL podcast. During their conversation, the City Girl recalled her mother, brother, and sister all going to jail. However, as she grew up, she felt invincible to imprisonment despite her risky lifestyle. Moreover, she said that she didn’t fear prison time, because her friends were doing the same and maintaining freedom. In the Instagram clip of their conversation’s caption, the media personality explained JT’s story.

“@thegirljt is a born hustler, she’s always been an intelligent girl who wanted to move faster and further,” the post read. “From Burger King to Whole Foods to scammin’ to rapping and topping the charts, JT always had the skills, but she couldn’t always break the generational curses. Less than two months after dropping her first record with the City Girls, she was indicted and would later have to go on to serve a federal prison sentence. Based on statistics, [JT’s] story could have been bad, REAL BAD, But God had something bigger for her.”

Furthermore, the 30-year-old elaborated on her story. “You wanna know a secret?” she asked Angie. “My mom, my brother, and my sister on my mom’s side, they all had been to prison. I thought I was exempt. I thought it couldn’t happen to me. All my friends scammin’, and none of them went to jail. I thought I was untouchable. I thought I was going to be out here in my Chanel bags. My Gucci, and I though I was going to get away with it…and I was going to live my best life. But God had something bigger for me, you know? I feel like that’s the reason I never went to prison. It could’ve went bad. Real bad,” she concluded, laughing with Martinez.

Meanwhile, the Miami rapper just spoke glowingly of her boo, Lil Uzi Vert, and how inspiring they are. Between that and avoiding a life-changing scam bust, JT has much to be appreciative for. As always, come back to HNHH for more inspiring stories and the latest on JT and the City Girls.

Fredo Bang Reveals Drug Smuggling Tales From Behind Bars

Fredo Bang recently opened up about his experiences behind bars for two years, and also shared his proximity to drug smugglers in prison. While he doesn’t have much first-hand experience, he revealed some curious terminology. Moreover, the Baton Rouge MC served two years in jail for a second degree attempted murder charge. He spoke to VladTV of his tales, and as he dug deeper, he had some terms to explain. Furthermore, Vlad asked him of the cruel ways in which people rob smugglers who use their anal cavities to hide drugs. During his explanation, he said that people in prison call their rear end their Gucci bag.

“Your Gucci bag,” he stated, before explaining that using it didn’t mean you were safe from a beatdown. “They gon’ beat you up, they gon’ pin you down, they going off in there. They want that mojo, they want that meth and they want that back. If they gotta go in that back, that’s what they doing.” While Fredo sold drugs while he served time, he claimed to never have gone that far.

“I ain’t even gon’ lie, I ain’t never played those games,” Fredo said, “I don’t even know how to wipe back there too long, you feel me? I ain’t never played with my Gucci bag. When I was selling drugs in jail, I used to have like a little pocket. I had a migo stitch in the pocket. So when I go in there, I just pull it out the pants. If I’m getting searched it don’t really show too much. I ain’t put nothing in my Gucci bag.”

Still, the 26-year-old didn’t give much further details about how he got the drugs in the facility. In fact, that seems to be part of his nature. Reportedly, he refused to answer questions during a pre-trial conference for YNW Melly’s double murder trial last June. Fredo continuously invoked his Fifth Amendment rights and the judge denied the prosecution’s motion to require him to answer. As always, log back into HNHH for the latest on Fredo Bang, the case of YNW Melly, and more interesting revelations from rappers.

Casanova Hopes To Be Home Soon, Says Officially Ice

It was back in December 2020 when Casanova turned himself over to the authorities. He was accused of being an integral part of the Gorilla Stone Nation gang, and investigators claimed he participated in drug trafficking. Later, Casanova pleaded guilty to federal racketeering charges, but at this time, he’s been waiting to be sentenced.

Officially Ice offered an update on Cas during a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. “I saw Casanova this week, shout out to him,” Ice shared. “He sends everybody his love. He said he’s looking to get sentenced soon, and he thinks he’ll be out.”

“I was over there. He’s in Essex. I got somebody over there, and when I went to go see them, he just happened to walk out at the same time,” Ice continued.

Budden was also delighted with the news and added, “Go Cas.”

In December 2022, Casanova reflected on the two years spent behind bars.

“God’s saying ‘today, I’m going to repay you for the years the enemy has stolen, years you spent lonely, years you spent being mistreated,’” he penned. “‘You’re going to have plenty of joy, peace, resources & opportunities’ I hope that don’t go over y’all heads.. BTW, today makes 2 years!!!!”

Further, throughout his ordeal, Casanova has maintained his innocence. He has also occasionally called for more support among his peers, but he did thank Chris Brown after seemingly helping financially.

It is unclear when his sentencing hearing will take place. Check out the clip from The Joe Budden Podcast above.

Tony Yayo Says Tory Lanez Will Be Attacked In Jail

Tony Yayo is typically an entertaining guy. Beyond his raps, he’s certainly never afraid to speak his mind.

The G-Unit rapper recently sat down for an interview with VladTV. During the conversation, he shares his thoughts on the recent Tory Lanez guilty verdict.

Of course, DJ Vlad doesn’t shy away from asking the 44-year-old about the case. He asks Yayo what it’s like in jail as a rapper, based on the New York native’s personal experience. “I mean, it could be rough. People are not used to the conditions. You nobody, you just a number. They gon’ make you feel like you’re not R. Kelly or Bill Cosby, they tryna make you feel like you just a number and that’s what you are, just like everybody else,” he answers.

“Motherf*ckers don’t care. If you get out of line, a motherf*cker will get out of line with you too. And then you more of a target. C’mon, L.A. county? You seen they put up his meal. ‘Yo, Tory Lanez in here.’ That’s the talk of the jail and now everybody in the jail got something to talk about,” Yayo continues.

Later on in the interview, the “Drama Setter” rapper explicitly says what he would do to his lawyer if he was in Lanez’s shoes. “Where I’m from, I ain’t never hear nobody really shoot a girl. Like, you shoot n*ggas, but really don’t shoot girls. So it’s a strange case. If he woulda shot a n*gga, n*ggas probably wouldn’t have cared,” he prefaces.

“She got hit in the foot, it’s not an attempted murder, so for me, I probably woulda just copped out. Look at Tory, you go to jail on Christmas, you think you gon’ beat the case and then my lawyer would’ve got punched in the face, ’cause I’m not spending a quarter million dollars and my lawyer’s not telling me, yo, we might lose this,” he explains afterwards.
