Years after its release, this mobile app climbed the charts to become the best-selling game on the App Store, thanks to Watkins’ videos on the game.

However, it hasn’t always been smooth sailing. In July 2022, he faced a near-disastrous situation when a Pikachu firework he set off almost ignited his bedroom. A month later, while live-streaming, he became a victim of a swatting attempt, forcing him to halt his stream. He even faced a brief incarceration, with Adin Ross stepping in to bail him out.

IShowSpeed Avoids YouTube Ban After Exposing Himself On Stream

IShowSpeed will not be punished by YouTube after exposing his penis during an August 16 live stream. After being jump scared by the character Chica in Five Nights At Freddy’s, Speed screamed dramatically before yelling “I wanna fuck you, Chica. Get this dick right up in you, baby.” He proceeded to jump and down, dislodging his penis from his shorts and causing it to be clearly seen on camera. Speed appeared to realize what had happened after seeing the playback on his second monitor. “Oh my God,” the 22-year-old can be heard saying before abruptly ending his stream.

Unintentional or not, the incident was a very clear breach of YouTube’s terms of service. Among the major streaming platforms, YouTube has perhaps the strictest policies regarding sexual content. Despite this, YouTube confirmed to TMZ that Speed had removed the video archive of the incident and would not be issuing a ban at this time. Many believe that this is in order to retain Speed, one of the platform’s biggest stars, and prevent him from leaving for a platform like Kick. While Kick is much more lenient about its streamers’ content, it still holds some policies on sexual content. Adin Ross was recently temporarily suspended after showing explicitly sexual content during one of his streams.

Did YouTube Bend The Rules For IShowSpeed?

While Speed’s mishap appears unintentional, it has now become a case study in what major platforms will do to retain their streaming talent. YouTube has previously faced criticism on multiple occasions for deliberately age-restricting content about LGBTQ topics. However, they are reportedly willing to give Speed a total pass for exposing his penis on stream. Again, while unintentional, he exposed his penis to his primarily underage audience. There were 25,000 people watching Speed at the time of his incident.

Speed is yet to make a formal statement about the incident at the time of writing. However, if TMZ‘s report turns out to be accurate, then he just scored a major win. Furthermore, he may have just set a dangerous precedent. YouTube can no longer ban sexual content indiscriminately. If you can make the argument that it was “accidental”, then YouTube can’t ban you else they would be openly showing that they have one set of rules for their profitable talent and another set of rules for everyone else. This remains a developing story and we’ll have any updates if and when they come through.

IShowMeat Trends After IShowSpeed Flashing Incident

X/Twitter has a new favorite obsession after IShowSpeed’s August 16 stream. While streaming a Five Nights At Freddy’s game on YouTube, the controversial streamer reacted to a jumpscare by screaming and jumping up and down in front of his camera. Unfortunately for Speed, this inadvertently revealed his erect penis to his audience. Speed only appeared to realize this after seeing the footage on his second monitor, causing him to end his stream moments later.

The footage quickly went viral, being reposted numerous times on social media. While Speed has not been banned from YouTube at the time of writing, a ban feels inevitable. Among the major live-streaming platforms, YouTube has some of the strictest content rules relating to sexual content. And few things are more sexual than exposing your genitals live on stream to an audience primarily comprised of minors. Meanwhile, the trending topic “IShowMeat” quickly appeared on the Elon Musk-owned site.

The trend is pretty self-explanatory. Meat is a colloquialism for penis, his name is IShowSpeed. It’s a middle-of-the-plate meatball pitch if ever there was one. While it’s a pretty easy joke to come to, it also appears to have been popularized after being used by streamer MoistCr1TiKaL during his recap of the situation. In another video, an individual utilizes photoshop to estimate how tall (in dicks) IShowSpeed is.

Furthermore, HotNewHipHop would like to address comments made in a previous article about the situation. In our original report on the incident, we said this:

And disturbingly hard for a dude playing a horror game about murder robots? Of course, Rule 34 absolutely applies to the FNAF franchise but is that something that Speed is into? Legally, we cannot give an answer to that question. But it is a question worth asking based on the footage.

Ben Mock for HotNewHipHop, August 16 2023

We can now confirm that yes, it is something that Speed is into. In the original video of the incident, the streamer can be heard saying “I wanna fuck you, Chica. Get this dick right up in you, baby.” Chica is the Five Nights At Freddy’s character that jumpscared Speed in the now-viral clip. This continues to be a developing story and we’ll have any updates as they emerge.

IShowSpeed Exposes Genitals Live On Stream

Controversial streamer IShowSpeed is back at it again with yet another NSFW headline. While playing a game in the Five Nights At Freddy’s franchise, Speed was jumpscared. He reacted in his usual over-the-top way, screaming and jumping up and down. The problem was that his erect penis was sticking out of his shorts and was clearly visible as he jumped up and down in front of the camera. Speed only appeared to realize this when he sat down and caught sight of the footage on his second monitor.

Speed was reportedly streaming on Twitch. While it has not been announced yet, the streamer can likely expect a near-permanent ban in the coming days. Furthermore, many people responding to the footage have joked that this will all but confirm Speed’s move to Kick. Kick is known (and notorious for) its lack of content moderation. However, Kick still does have limits. Those limits are namely things that could get the site age-restricted, or shut down. This list includes things such as playing copyrighted content, things such as violent real-world content, and sexual content. The latter of these is perhaps the most important as sexual content could see the site become age-restricted, which would all but kill the enterprise.

IShowSpeed Flashes Audience

On the advice of the editorial staff, HotNewHipHop will not be posting a link to the footage in question. However, it can be easily found by simply searching IShowSpeed in the search bar on websites such as X/Twitter. But yeah, his dick is just out. And disturbingly hard for a dude playing a horror game about murder robots? Of course, Rule 34 absolutely applies to the FNAF franchise but is that something that Speed is into? Legally, we cannot give an answer to that question. But it is a question worth asking based on the footage.

Social media has been pretty shocked by the incident. There are a lot of various reaction images going around, a lot of them directly lifted from Speed’s content. The reactions largely devolve into two camps. The first is the shock that this happened. After all, this is one of the more egregious sexual content violations on Twitch in a while. We all likely remember the woman who was controversially banned for seven days for actively getting fucked on stream. However, in her defense, both her partner and the lewd acts in question were off-camera at the time. This is something of a developing story and any updates to Speed’s case, such as a reaction from Twitch, will be found here at HotNewHipHop.

IShowSpeed Sparks Fan Concern For His Health After Canceling Stream Last-Minute

One of the biggest streamers today, IShowSpeed, has unfortunately been unable to get back to his craft in some time. Moreover, Darren Watkins Jr. recently went to a hospital in Tokyo after he suffered painful headaches and medical officials discovered that he had a sinus infection. While he fortunately recovered from this, he had to go back to a facility shortly after, and many fans are worried about his health. In fact, his run-in at the hospital almost rendered his eye unable to see, but doctors were able to assess the situation and prevent that. Considering these difficult and unforeseen complications, it’s unclear whether this will be a significant long-term factor affecting his content.

Furthermore, IShowSpeed actually planned to return with a stream on Thursday (August 10), but canceled it at the last minute. Not only did the sudden news disappoint fans hopeful for a return, it made them wonder whether it has something to do with his health issues. This hospital visit in Tokyo was back in July, so at least in Internet and streaming time, it’s been a while since we’ve seen him on our screens. Later, fans confirmed their worries when Speed said that he wants to come back to the live online space once he feels completely recovered.

Sure, many fans expressed disappointment and even anger at this, but others took a more rightfully empathetic approach. After all, we don’t even know how much his streams affected his health in the first place, whether it was this infection or other areas of well-being. Previously, IShowSpeed had let fans know that doctors diagnosed him with a cluster headache, the cause of which is still unknown. During his stay in Tokyo, supporters in the hospital area gathered outside of it and chanted his name to lift his spirits.

Meanwhile, news broke just recently that he arrived in the United States safely following this scare. It’s been a hectic few weeks for the online sensation, with him getting in cahoots with the Kardashian clan shortly before this whole ordeal. With that in mind, we hope that he continues his steady recovery and can fully enjoy his return to the screen. On that note, keep checking in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on IShowSpeed.

Reese LaFlare Says Lil Uzi Vert Is His “Dawg 4L” Following Rolling Loud Comments

Rolling Loud Portugal went down this weekend with performances from everyone from the biggest rappers in the game, like Travis Scott, to YouTubers such as iShowSpeed. Speed’s released music in the past but not enough to qualify for a full-time rapper. Although fans appeared elated by his presence at the festival, Reese LaFlare seemingly took issue with the matter. The Atlanta-based rapper revealed that he hasn’t been able to perform at the festival for years due to a former feud.

“They put this N***a on stage but Stopped having me perform at Rolling loud because me and Uzi had ‘Beef’ once upon a time ….. H*e sh*t,” he tweeted on Saturday (July 8). As Speed’s fans leaped to his defense, Reese reiterated that the streamer isn’t actually an artist. DJ Scheme, who brought out the YouTuber during his set at Rolling Loud, said Speed has a massive following in Portugal. “it would of been criminal to not let bro rock out! This music Shit is about having fun & being yourself u know this!” Scheme told Reese, who agreed but stood by his stance.

Reese LaFlare Clarifies Friendship With Lil Uzi Vert

Via NoJumper

NoJumper later reposted Reese’s tweet about iShowSpeed with the headline reading, “ATL Rapper Reese LaFlare Calls Out Rolling Loud For Not Letting Him Perform Because Of Past Beef With Lil Uzi Vert.” In response, Reese slid in the comments to reiterate his advocacy for working musicians. “KEEP REAL ARTISTS AND MUSICIANS PERFORMING [heart emoji],” he said. “I speak [from] my personal experiences.” Afterward, he clarified that there are no issues between him and Uzi. “Sidenote I talk to Uzi all the time that’s my Dawg 4L.”

Lil Uzi Vert and Reese LaFlare’s feud dates back to 2016 when they allegedly got into an altercation at Day N Night Festival. However, two years later, both artists patched things up at a party. Besides Reese’s recent tweets, he recently released his mixtape, Diva Vol. 4. Hosted as a Gangsta Grillz effort, Reese LaFlare and DJ Drama joined forces for the 12-song project which includes appearances from Vince Staples, Ty Dolla $ign, Benny The Butcher and more.

Reese LaFlare Mocked For Hating On IShowSpeed Rolling Loud Set

Reese LaFlare has hit out at Rolling Loud, claiming that the promotion refuses to book him over a previous beef with Lil Uzi Vert. It was a while ago, but LaFlare and Vert beefed back in 2016. Punches were reportedly thrown in an altercation at the Day N Night Festival. However, the beef appeared to be quashed in 2018, with Vert wishing LaFlare well on Twitter. Furthermore, LaFlare posted a picture with Vert from a Drake party.

The thing that appears to have set LaFlare off is a surprise performance by streamer IShowsSpeed at Rolling Loud Portugal. Speed is a controversial figure, known for his eye-catching antics on stream, a love of Cristiano Ronaldo, and several instances of off-color remarks. He was permanently banned from all Riot Games products after a sexist rant on stream in 2022. He further got into trouble after yelling “Konnichiwa” at a Chinese man while attending the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Despite these controversies, IShowSpeed remains on the biggest names in streaming. That, somehow, landed him a spot on the Rolling Loud billing.

LaFlare Objects To Speed Billing

“They put this N***a on stage but Stopped having me perform at Rolling loud because me and Uzi had “Beef” once upon a time ….. Hoe shit,” LaFlare commented on Twitter, quote-tweeting a clip from Speed’s set. However, the tweet likely didn’t get the response that LaFlare was looking for. As it turned out, most people either didn’t know who he was. Meanwhile, others argued that maybe he just wasn’t popular enough for Rolling Loud right now. Reese, who has never released a studio album, last released music with Diva Vol. 4.

He’s latest song dropped 2 days ago and got like 800 views, what is he talking about?😅,” one person asked. “To be fair I don’t think anyone knows who he is so make a hit and stop hating on Speed,” added another. “they stopped putting you on stage because nobody knows you, your set would be empty asf..,” argued a third. “Name 5 Reese la flare songs *gunpoint*”, added someone else. So maybe it was less about beefing with Uzi and more about just not being notable enough to not even undercard a regional Rolling Loud.

Drake Wasn’t Happy That Game Streamer IShowSpeed Called His Voice ‘Sexy’ On A FaceTime Call

Drake’s usually got a great sense of humor about all the jokes people make about him, but it turns out that even he has a limit.

The Toronto singer has been popping up on gaming streams a bunch lately, cozying up to Gen Z’s version of rap stars. This week, he surprised IShowSpeed, a streamer famous for his viral reactions to games, via a FaceTime call. The two talked about soccer a bit, including whether Drake was a bigger fan of Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi.

However, when things took a turn, Drake was apparently too flustered to continue the conversation.

As Drake told IShowSpeed how much he appreciated him, Speed made things a little too awkward by complimenting Drake’s voice. “You’re doing your thing,” Drake said. “I was talking about you the other day in the car … I’m proud of you, for real.”

Speed complimented him in return, saying, “Bro, your voice is so sexy. How is it so smooth like that? How your voice so smooth like that?” Immediately after that, the call dropped. Whether Drake meant to hang up due to the comment, lost service, or had some other pressing concern, it looks like the streamer felt like he blew his shot.

“He’s not gonna answer the phone again, bro,” he said. “I didn’t mean — I said it wrong, bruh. I meant to say his voice is smooth, but I said it wrong. On God, I said it bad.”

A reminder to the kids out there… sometimes, you just gotta touch grass.

Drake, meanwhile, is $1.4 million richer thanks to some Super Bowl bets he called “psychotic” in the moment.
