Playboi Carti Compared To The Wendy’s Logo After Debuting New Hairstyle

Playboi Carti is easily one of the most mysterious artists in the rap game. By now, fans know that it can be hard to track him down at times. Overall, he likes to remain this mysterious aura as it generates hype for his music. Unfortunately, Carti hasn’t given us an album since Whole Lotta Red in 2020. Over the past few months, he has blessed us with six singles. However, none of this has actually resulted in a new album, and fans are starting to get very antsy.

A huge part of Carti and his “aura” is his look. At times, some have roasted Carti for looking like a “bisexual vampire.” There have been other times when he perturbed fans with his juggalo makeup. Now, however, he is showing off a new hairstyle that has fans fairly surprised. As you can see below, Carti is rocking some braided pig tails. This look immediately went viral on social media, and fans were quick to weigh in on what they were seeing.

If one thing is for certain, it is that the internet is very creative with its insults. In the comments section on DJ Akademiks’ page, many compared Carti to the Wendy’s logo. “Bro look like the Wendy’s Logo,” one person wrote. “I won’t be defending him on this one,” said another. The hate train kept on piling on for the look, with one hater saying “What they done did to my boy? He went from playboi carti to cardi B.” For now, it seems like fans won’t let off the gas when it comes to Carti. The only thing he can do to change that, is drop an album.

Azealia Banks Continues To Taunt Beyonce Amid “Cowboy Carter” Controversy

Azealia Banks is someone who has always spoken her mind on a wide variety of topics in the hip-hop and music world. Overall, one of her biggest targets over the years has been Beyonce. Whenever Bey drops a new song or enters a new era, Banks has something to say about it. This was especially true a couple of years ago when Beyonce gave us Renaissance. The album had house music influences, and Banks felt like the superstar didn’t do it the right way. These criticisms were relentless, and Banks felt like Beyonce was copying her in a sense. Now, Banks has gotten even more critical of Bey thanks to the Cowboy Carter rollout.

In a scathing rant posted to her Instagram account recently, Banks went off on Beyonce and Jay-Z for her new album. Of course, Cowboy Carter is set to drop on March 29th, and fans are excited about this new era of Bey. But as Banks explained, it all just feels like a huge eye roll. “Ugh, I’m so saddened by Jay-Z and his over strategizing everything [Bey does] to the point where it’s clearly his influence and not the real Bianca Bardot… Someone tell Jay-Z his strategies are corny and Beyonce has better ideas… We would like to see her outside without him and his pound puppy dreadlocks breathing all over herrrrrrr,” Banks said.

Yesterday, Banks continued to taunt Beyonce, this time with an image of Banks in cowboy gear from an old music video. In the caption of her post, she simply wrote “The OG.” It was yet another example of how Banks feels as though Beyonce has been watching her and copying her aesthetic. For now, Beyonce continues to ignore these criticisms, and it is doubtful that she will respond. Regardless, fans continue to look forward to Banks’ commentary.

Chrisean Rock Teases Her Own Streaming Network, Responds To Ray J

Chrisean Rock has teased her own streaming network while responding to comments that Ray J made about his new streaming platform. “I got no clue what rayj talking bout on the breakfast club but wuddup wit it. Just letting yall know im in my elevating era so popping off like I use to ain’t me no more. I’m making room for big dog stuff instead. Also im spreading my interest into owning a network. Every thing will be coming soon,” Rock wrote on her Instagram story this week.

However, it’s interesting that Rock mentioned Ray J as Ray J did not mention her while appearing on The Breakfast Club. Instead, Ray J said that the Tronix Network will be “that digital ratchet reality TV that’s at the cutting edge.” While she was not mentioned, Rock does briefly appear in the platform’s launch trailer. The clip is from an old episode of Blue Girls Club, which finds new life on the platform as House of Blueface. Despite this, it appears that Rock’s presence on the show will be minimal, despite her rekindled romance with the rapper.

Elsewhere, Rock was recently up early to show for Blueface. “Free my Daddy I love you you got this baby,” Rock tweeted at around 6 AM ET. However, fans were absolutely not feeling this early morning declaration. “It’s 6:02 AM don’t piss me off,” one person said. “You’ll be in prison when BF is released back to his FAMILY. Jr’s ‘mother’ is a wanted FUGITIVE. You’ve got active warrants and lawsuits in several states. Face it…YOU’RE DONE!” argued another.

Furthermore, some commenters pointed out that the affection in their relationship is very one-sided. “This girl told him several times on the phone she loves him. He said he appreciate her once as a response ,” noted one person. It is unclear when Blueface will be released from prison, where he has been for over a month now. However, Rock, who around New Year was very much anti-Blueface, has become incredibly ride-or-die for the rapper since his incarceration.

Drake Shows Off How Much He Sweats During Tour Shows

Drake is no stranger to sharing some up-close-and-personal details with fans on social media. He loves to take to Instagram with a series of pictures and videos recapping what he’s been up to recently. That was the case once again when he shared a series of photos accompanied by his own lyrics “BIG AS THE SUPER ” as the caption. The post includes some pictures and videos of him and J. Cole during their recent tour, but it’s a video showing the aftermath of their tour shows that got a lot of attention.

In one of the clips from his most recent Instagram post, Drake pulls off the white undershirt he’s wearing. Then he wrings an absolute ton of sweat out of it. In the comments fans can’t believe how sweaty he gets up on stage. “4th slide crazy! You giving 200% on that damn stage!” one of the top comments on the post reads. “Dat power ranger suit gon make ya sweat like dat ” another comment jokes. Over the weekend Drake popped up alongside a college basketball team. He was present with the University Of Houston Cougars when they were awarded one of the four number-one seeds in this year’s March Madness tournament. His appearance led plenty of fans to bring up the alleged “curse” he brings to sports teams. In the past teams have lost shortly after getting an endorsement from the rapper.

Drake has been a college basketball fan for a while. Earlier this month he found himself back in the Kentucky Wildcats’ locker room recreating a classic picture. Ryan Garcia Seemingly Questions Abdul Wahid’s Sexuality

Ryan Garcia has taken shots at Abdul Wahid, formerly known as Gervonta Davis, for a post the latter made on social media. Taken from Wahid’s Instagram, the image appears to show Wahid hugging a friend from behind as the friend makes a kissing face at Wahid. “I love my brothas” can be seen as a caption to the image. “WTF Abdul” Garcia added in a screenshot he posted to his own Instagram story. A number of people have alleged the other person in the image is Adrien Broner.

Of course, there is no love lost between Garcia and Wahid. Wahid soundly beat Garcia last year. However, comments from Wahid in recent days appear to indicate that he would be open to a rematch. That is a fight that Garcia has been hoping for since his defeat. “Obviously I’m disappointed. I tried my best but he caught me with a good body shot. I’ll come back stronger and yeah man, one day…rack up a couple wins and maybe we could do a rematch at maybe 140, 147,” Garcia said immediately after their fight.

Elsewhere, Garcia has threatened to drop out of his fights against Devin Haney after his opponent accepted a sponsorship with PRIME. “Does not surprise me Who else would satan support other then Devil Haney. More confirmation. Yall support this I’m out. Kids are in danger from drinking this “allegedly”,” Garcia wrote in response to the sponsorship announcement. PRIME, the high-caffeine energy drink owned by Logan Paul and KSI, came under intense scrutiny last year. Several children were reported to have suffered heart attacks after consuming the beverage. Then illegal distribution in Canada led to the country banning the product.

Furthermore, Garcia’s post came after a string of posts that appeared to go against his promise to only tweet about his April 20 fight with Haney. This included a bizarre post about one of the biggest hip hop conspiracies of all time. “Would you believe me if I told you I know for a fact who killed Tupac, a lot of yall know the answer but I can prove it,” Garcia wrote on X. Duane “Keefe D” Davis is currently awaiting trial for his alleged role in Tupac’s murder. However, conspiracy theories have long connected Diddy to the case, amongst others.

Erykah Badu Suggests Beyonce Copied Her With New “Cowboy Carter” Album Cover

Earlier this week, Beyonce officially unveiled the album cover for her new album. act ii of her RENAISSANCE series is called “COWBOY CARTER” and is due out at the end of the month. The album cover landed with some controversy among Bey’s fans. It prominently displays the American flag, something that plays into the album’s themes of country music and Americana. Bey must have recognized the controversy as she quickly unveiled the deluxe edition cover which fans seemed to like a lot more.

But even that album cover is proving controversial. Erykah Badu reposted the newly shared album cover to her Instagram story with a caption reading “HMMM.” She seems to be suggesting that Beyonce copied her, specifically with her hair which looks quite similar to a look Badu has donned in the past. In the comments though, fans disagree. “It could easily be a tribute to Rick James, Venus and a Serena” one commenter suggests. “Rick James did it first if yall wanna get technical” another agrees. Beyonce dropped two singles last month to tease towards the album. While “16 CARRIAGES” was met with fan acclaim and performed quite well, that success paled in comparison to the lead single “TEXAS HOLD EM’.” The song hit the number one spot on the Hot 100 and is still inside the top 10 after more than a month. The song has already racked up more than 182 million streams on Spotify.

Earlier this month, Dolly Parton accidentally made a major revelation about the upcoming album. She revealed that there’s a cover of her classic song “Jolene” included somewhere on the record. Lil Nas X Ran A Half Marathon Without Running Shoes

Li Nas X’s new era fully got underway earlier this year. He shared his new single “J CHRIST” which drew controversy from religious music listeners for the rapper’s depiction of Christian imagery. The song hasn’t been quite the same caliber of hit he’s used to. Despite having nearly 30 million streams on Spotify, the song fell from the Hot 100 after just one week and hasn’t re-entered the chart. The singer and rapper has already shifted his focus in the direction of another new single though it doesn’t have a confirmed release date yet.

Earlier this week Lil Nas X took on another endeavor entirely. He participated in the New York half marathon, where his lack of running experience showed. The rapper apparently did no training for the race and has almost no experience with running. You can tell he’s not experienced from his choice in shoes as he wore a pair of designed coach shoes to run the half-marathon. Clearly that was a decision he regrets. Despite finishing the marathon he was sitting in a wheelchair afterwards. It took him just over two-and-a-half hours to finish the race. Check out his posts about the situation below.

The second new song Lil Nas X released this year was a much more reflective ballad. It was called “Where Do We Go Now?” and was released in tandem with his tour documentary Love Live Montero. The documentary also released earlier this year and took fans behind the scenes of his first ever world tour. It also gave some insight into his dramatic rise to fame following the surprise success of “Old Town Road.”

Chance The Rapper Supports Starting A Revolution Instead Of Voting

It’s been five years since Chance The Rapper dropped his last project, the much-maligned The Big Day. Though he hasn’t exactly been quiet in the meantime, released a number of new singles, fans are still hoping the next album is on the way soon. He gave a promising tease of the material he’s got in the tank when he shared a new snippet earlier this week. He shared an Instagram post with the lyrics of the song appearing in white text over a black background. But most fans have honed in specifically what he has to say on the song.

“I ain’t telling no n*ggas go vote/I ain’t telling no n*ggas go broke/I’m just telling my n*ggas get guns, I’m just telling my n*ggas revolt,” Chance says in the snippet. The new video has already racked up more than 47k likes in less than a full day. While Chance isn’t the most specifically political rapper out there, he’s never been afraid to weigh in on social issues. Chance didn’t share many details on when the song may actually drop. Chance The Rapper’s new album is called Star Line Gallery. He first announced it last year and has continually teased the project. Last month, he performed some new material live during a show in Chicago. While rumors have swirled about the album for months it still doesn’t have an official release date and very little is actually known about it.

Late last year in December, he claimed that the project was coming out “next spring.” As Spring time has already arrived he hasn’t shared any real concrete details on when his fans may be able to hear the record in its entirety.
