PARTYNEXTDOOR Teases New Music With Cryptic Instagram Post

PARTYNEXTDOOR has been cooking something up over the last few months. The R&B veteran already dropped an album in 2024, but he hasn’t slowed down. If anything, his radio silence in the last couple of months has fans anticipating something huge. It helps, of course, that PARTYNEXTDOOR has already confirmed a Drake collab album before the end of the year. Details have been sparse since the album was announced, but a recent Instagram post suggests new music is around the corner.

On October 28, PARTYNEXTDOOR posted a batch of photos to his profile. The caption made it clear that the era defined by his last album, PARTYNEXTDOOR 4, is no more. There’s something else brewing, and it’s almost here. “Next life loading,” he wrote. The word choice does seemingly allude to the “More Life” mantra that Drake has been using since the release of the playlist of the same name in 2017. A playlist that also featured a PARTYNEXTDOOR collab. PND has also confirmed that the collaboration album with Drake will boast 15 songs.

PARTYNEXTDOOR Teased ‘New Life Loading…’

Drake confirmed that the joint album would be dropping in the fall, and we are firmly in the thick of the season. The rapper’s birthday month has come and gone, but even without word of new music, there have been hints at what’s to come. Footage of Drake partying on his birthday made its way online, and some of the footage include snippets of unreleased songs. The snippets weren’t long enough to discern if PARTYNEXTDOOR appeared on any of the songs, but the way people around them have talked it up, it sounds like it’s almost done.

OVO Noel recently went on The Fry Yiy Show on SiriusXM. The veteran engineer assured the host that Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR have a “classic” in the works, and he’s excited for the world to hear it. “You guys know what’s coming for you,” he asserted. “Party and Drake have a classic. We trying to put the finishing touches on it, so.” Noel has been Drake’s engineer since the release of Thank Me Later in 2010, so it’s safe to assume he has the inside scoop.

Tesehki Breaks Silence After Chrisean Rock Accused Her Of Childhood Molestation

Chrisean Rock’s career has been characterized by drama. The rapper and reality star has made far more headlines for her personal life than she ever has her music. This trend continued on the 28th of October. Chrisean Rock dropped a bombshell during the trailer for the Baddies: Midwest special. She alleged that she was molested by her older sister, Tesehki, when she was a child. The internet was rightfully shocked by this allegation, but none more than Tesehki. She took to social media to give her side of the story.

Tesehki’s shock was evident in the aforementioned Baddies: Midwest trailer. She threatened to sue Chrisean Rock for defamation, but she provided much more context via Instagram. The rapper posted footage of an old Instagram Live between her, Chrisean Rock, and a third woman. The footage sees the accuser, Rock, express sympathy for the other two for the sexual abuse they claim to have suffered at a young age. The most notable point, however, is that Rock claims she did not experience the same thing. “Y’all went through some sh*t,” she told Tesehki and the other woman. “I never personally went through something that took my childhood away.”

Tesehki Alleges Chrisean Rock Is Stealing Her Trauma

Tesehki is using Chrisean Rock’s own words against her. In case the footage did not make her defense clear, however, the rapper provided additional context in the form of text. She made it clear that she was deeply hurt by Rock’s accusation. “This shhh hurt on a whole diff level,” she wrote. “How you trying [to] take me an Chas trauma and say it’s yours…” Tesehki then took to the IG comment section to imply that Chrisean is making these allegations in an attempt to draw in viewers. A fan theorized that the Chrisean Rock admission was “made up” as a publicity stunt, and Tesehki promptly pinned the message.

To further complicate matters, Blueface’s mother, Karlissa Savoy Harvey, weighed in. She took to IG Live to give her two cents on Chrisean Rock’s allegations. Harvey is, after all, the grandmother to Rock’s kid. Harvey actually took Tesehki’s side in the she-said-she-said. She noted that the situation is extremely “unfortunate,” but stated that both sisters are “lucky” to be alive and successful. Harvey also praised Tesehki’s “well, beautiful mannered kids.”

Ice Spice Flaunts Her Figure In Her “Fifth Element” Halloween Costume

Spooky season is upon us, and Ice Spice had a great pick for her (first?) Halloween costume for 2024. She took to Instagram to share some snaps as Leeloo, Milla Jovovich’s character in the 1997 sci-fi flick The Fifth Element. The orange-haired humanoid is the perfect look for the Bronx femcee, flaunting her fitness journey’s results and boasting nice details like matching eyebrows and even Leeloo’s Multi Pass recreated in her image. We’re still a few days away from October 31, so maybe she has another costume in the tank that we’ll see in due time when celebrations pop off.

In fact, Ice Spice has done a lot of style shifts and new looks these days, so this transitioned pretty seamlessly into Halloween celebrations. For example, she recently debuted a new dark-haired look at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show. Not everyone was a fan, but most people seemed to at least appreciate that the 24-year-old switched her style up and hasn’t stuck to the exact same image. As irrelevant or superficial as it may seem to some, it’s a tool that a lot of artists can use to visually represent their career moves, push their branding, and just look however they feel like looking. Who says they can’t switch things up?

Ice Spice’s Halloween Costume

Another element is that this helps artists distinguish themselves from each other, and failing to do so could prove important in furthering any existing feuds. This was the case for Latto and Ice Spice, who have at least on one occasion drawn style comparisons amid their supposed beef. However, we wouldn’t really put too much stock into that supposed rivalry, as both lyricists seem quite publicly confused as to how and why this rift happened and why the other side is supposedly interested in it.

Such is the vague nature of hip-hop competition sometimes, and it’s a narrative that fans still hold on to. In any case, we’re sure that Ice Spice will continue to impress and dazzle with her style regardless of whether she’s in any rap beefs or not. As one of the first rappers to debut their Halloween costume this year, she started off strong.

Drake Gets Reflective After Celebrating His 38th Birthday

Drake’s 38th birthday was last week, and as expected, he went all out. The Toronto rapper celebrated with friends and family in Houston, where he enjoyed a huge cake shaped like his birth year, previewed some of his unreleased music, and more. He then finished off the evening by passing out stacks of cash at a local strip club, Area 29.

Obviously, he made the most of the special occasion. Last night, he even took to Instagram to look back on the celebration and share a series of new photos from the festivities. “I wake up blessed, safe, and sound/ In the city where I laid the foundation down/ I know what real love is about cause I still keep real love around,” he captioned the post.

Drake Goes Deep In New Instagram Post

Clearly, Drake is feeling reflective, and social media users can’t blame him. It’s been an undoubtedly tough year for him, considering his explosive beef with Kendrick Lamar and others, and nowadays it’s not often he catches a break. Fortunately, it appears as though he hasn’t let that get him down. In another Instagram post for his birthday, Drake and his mother Sandra Graham were seen posing with stacks of money. He appeared to fire back at his haters in his caption, celebrating proving them wrong. “They pictured me dead,” he wrote at the time. “But that was just imagination [heart with arrow emoji] one more year pon dem.”

Drizzy was even spotted tearing it up onstage at one of his many birthday events, competing in an intense dance battle with Omarion. What do you think of Drake’s latest Instagram post? What about him getting reflective in honor of his 38th birthday? Can you blame him considering the year he’s had so far? The Weeknd Teases Anitta Collab “São Paulo” With Cryptic Mask Post

The Weeknd is all about the aesthetics. The pop star loves to reinvent his image and his sound from album to album. He’s also highly secretive about his album rollouts, as evidenced by the lack of info that fans have gotten for Hurry Up, Tomorrow. The cryptic rollout continued on October 25, when he posted a photo of Brazilian singer Anitta on his Instagram Story. The photo was striking for several reasons, with the most notable being the fact that Anitta is wearing a white mask.

Anitta posted the photo on her Instagram, which also saw her showcase her pregnant stomach. Moreso than the pregnancy, though, was the fact that she was covering her face with the aforementioned mask. The Weeknd reposted the image on his IG Story with the caption “Congrats @Anitta.” This has led many fans to theorize that “São Paulo,” the song that The Weeknd and Anitta have recorded, will be the next single for Hurry Up, Tomorrow. The song was previewed in September 2024, and was promptly played live during The Weeknd’s Brazilian show.

The Weeknd And Anitta Teased The Song In September

The Weeknd hyped up the song further during an interview with Billboard Brazil. “Anitta is a great friend,” he explained. “What she sent was so awesome that we created the song. Anitta returned the praise, and shed light on how the collaboration came together. Evidently, she did not think the song would actually get done. “I wrote some verses as a joke and never imagined they would become serious,” she claimed. “Suddenly, I received the finished song. I loved it! I felt very honored and flattered.”

Anitta’s decision to pose with the white mask speaks to the larger aesthetic that The Weeknd is going for on Hurry Up, Tomorrow. The same white mask adorned the cover of the singer’s last single. “Timeless” was a massive success for both The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, but it’s obvious the imagery of a face in a stark, feature-less mask is going to play a role in the narrative that the Canadian singer is going for. What does it mean? We don’t know. But we expect to see it a lot over the next few months.

Drake Supports French Montana’s Documentary Despite Rick Ross’ Cease And Desist Accusations

Back in April of this year, Rick Ross went after Drake in his scathing diss track, “Champagne Moments.” It was in response to shade thrown on Drake’s track “Push Ups,” which features a bar about Ross’ age and his biggest hits being with Drake. On it, he accuses the Toronto hitmaker of having cosmetic surgery, using ghostwriters, and more.

Ross also accuses Drake of hitting French Montana with a cease and desist over his “Splash Brothers” verse on the fiery track. “I unfollowed you, n***a ’cause you sent/ The motherf*ckin’ cease-and-desist to French Montana, n***a/ You sent the police, n***a, hatin’ on my dawg project,” he raps. Ultimately, the song was released with Lil Wayne replacing Drake. Gamma CEO Larry Jackson later confirmed this was true during an appearance on The Joe Budden Podcast.

Drake Shows Love To French Montana

“The cease-and-desist letter was a real thing. I thought that was really funny…but other than that, I got nothing,” he explained. “We all have different senses of humor. I thought it was funny, I didn’t think anybody was really trying to be nefarious. I just thought it was a joke.” Now, however, it at least appears that Drake and French Montana could be back on good terms. Recently, social media sleuths noticed that Drizzy liked one of French Montana’s Instagram posts about his upcoming documentary, The French Montana Story: For Khadija.

It’s worth noting that Drake is billed as an executive producer and a cast member of the film on IMDb. It’s unclear exactly when it was filmed, but it first premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. What do you think of Drake liking French Montana’s Instagram post despite Rick Ross previously accusing him of sending French Montana a cease and desist? Freddie Gibbs Teases New Album With An Assist From Freddy Krueger

On Thursday, rapper Freddie Gibbs started the rollout for his upcoming album. The eyes of the iconic horror character Freddy Krueger (of Nightmare on Elm Street fame) began to appear on many billboards around Los Angeles. Above the eyes reads “Freddie’s Back” and below them is a phone number that people could call. Upon calling the number, fans are greeted with a minute-long voice message from Kreuger’s longtime actor on the silver screen, Robert Englund.

Krueger addresses listeners at “little rabbits,” Freddie Gibbs’ signature. He also makes references to Piñata, You Only Live 2wice, and $oul $old $eparately. Earlier this month, Gibbs shared a snippet of a new song on one of his many Instagram accounts, under the username “youonlydie0nce.” Krueger also mentions that phrase in the message, suggesting it could be the title of Gibbs’ next album. The animated clip includes a rabbit sporting a Jason Voorhees mask, knife in hand, walking down a street and past a sign that simply says “He’s Back.”

Freddie Gibbs Teases New Album With Help Of Freddy Krueger

Despite the recent teases, the details surrounding Freddie Gibbs’ next LP are largely scarce. It would serve as the follow-up to his 2022 album, $oul $old $eparately. Since then, the Gary, Indiana native has released collaborations with Leon Thomas, CHIKA, ScHoolboy Q, KAYTRANADA & Aminé, BJ the Chicago Kid, and others. Considering the frequent references to iconic horror movie characters, Gibbs’ next solo album could release as soon as Halloween.

Of course, there is also the looming question of when Freddie Gibbs and Madlib will release Montana, their third album as a duo. Madlib claimed in May that it was “up next,” but save for the occasional preview at a live show, fans do not have much more information than that. Gibbs and Madlib played a handful of shows this year to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Piñata, their classic first collaborative effort. Freddie Gibbs fans now have two albums to look forward to. Hopefully, we get to hear them sooner than later.

Drake Clowns Haters Who Wished Him “Dead” In Celebratory Birthday Post

It’s Drake season. The rapper has repped October from the very start of his career. He was even going to drop a birthday edition of his magnum opus, Take Care, at one point. Drake has also had a rough year. He took more hits than he ever has before, and lost what is widely considered to be the best rap battle of all time. Drake suffered disses from Metro Boomin, Rick Ross, ASAP Rocky, and of course, Kendrick Lamar. He was someone that people wanted to see “eliminated,” in the words of Kanye West. And he wanted to remind fans that he’s still here.

Drake hopped on Instagram to post a photo of him and his mother, Sandra Graham. The two appear to be in a club setting with stacks of money in their hands. The caption is short and sweet, in that it makes clear the fact that Drake hasn’t been eliminated. “They pictured me dead,” he wrote. “But that was just imagination 💘 one more year pon dem.” The use of Jamaican slang feels purposeful on his part, as K. Dot openly criticized him for being a culture vulture. It seems as though he doesn’t plan to stop showing love to other cultures anytime soon.

A post shared by champagnepapi (@champagnepapi)

The industry’s feeling toward Drake has shifted somewhat in recent weeks. People like Metro Boomin and Future have seemingly softened their stance on the 6 God since the dust of the Kendrick Lamar feud has settled. Metro Boomin was asked about the feud during a recent panel, and he asserted that he has love for everybody involved, including Drake. “As far as me being diplomatic, it’s just entertainment,” he opined. I have love and respect for all my collaborators. I just want to see everyone do the best.”

Future also seemed to extend an olive branch to Drake via social media. Young Thug, who has been far too busy with legal matters to engaged in beef, tweeted about his desire to reconcile. “@Drake @1future @MetroBoomin,” he wrote. “We all bruddas. Music aint the same without us collabin.” Future went on to like the tweet. The 6 God is also slated to attend 21 Savage’s upcoming birthday party alongside Metro Boomin. Hopefully we see more celebratory posts, and less hostile ones.

Blueface Reveals New Prison Release Date And It’s Sooner Than Expected

In January of this year, Blueface turned himself in for an alleged probation violation and has been behind bars ever since. He was officially handed a sentence in August, which elicited big reactions from his fans, peers, and family members. The “Thotiana” rapper was handed four years, which his father confirmed in an emotional video shortly after he heard the news. According to Blueface, however, he’ll actually be getting out far sooner than his fans thought.

Earlier this week, his official Instagram account shared a story post, updating his followers on his stay. “I’ll Ce Out JULY Don’t Bink!!!!!” the post reads. This is obviously unconfirmed, and fans will just have to wait and see what actually plays out in his case. He wouldn’t be the only one to get out earlier than expected, however.

Blueface Claims He’ll Be Released In July Of 2025

Blueface Reveals New Prison Release Date And It’s Sooner Than Expected

Last month, the mother of his child Chrisean Rock also got out of jail. She was arrested in June at one of Blueface’s court hearings due to a felony fugitive warrant dating back to 2022. Since her release, she’s made the most of her newfound freedom, immediately reuniting with her son and even committing to a completely different lifestyle. Fans are glad to see her focusing on her child and turning her life around for the better. They hope that her seemingly rekindled relationship with Blueface doesn’t get in the way of this, though it remains unclear whether or not it will.

Hopefully, whenever Blueface gets released, he’ll take a similar approach as Chrisean has. What do you think of Blueface claiming he’ll be released from prison in July of 2025? Are you surprised or not? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Lil Uzi Vert Drops “Eternal Atake 2” Artwork And Mysterious Album Trailer

Lil Uzi Vert’s new era is officially here. The rapper has hinted at something major around the corner, but the most optimistic fans could not have guessed we’d get information so soon. Uzi was seen filming a music video last week, and since then, we’ve gotten a teaser track and a logo that subtly appears on the artwork for all of Uzi’s streaming releases. They were obviously gearing up for something major, and on Thursday, we found out what. Lil Uzi Vert confirmed Eternal Atake 2 is coming, and they even released the artwork, along with a trailer.

The first sign that something was up was on Instagram. Lil Uzi Vert was active on the account for the first time in months. They even changed the link in the bio to read: “ALL WHITE ALL WHITE ALL WHITE.” The same phenomenon occurred on Twitter, which is a platform Uzi had been absent from for even longer. It build up hype to previously unforeseen heights, and then it culminated with Lil Uzi Vert’s post. The iconic emcee dropped the Eternal Atake 2 artwork. The artwork shares a purple color scheme with the original Eternal Atake, but it has a more ominous look. People with glowing eyes can be seen looking in different directions. A mysterious key floats in the middle of the frame.

The Eternal Atake logo, meanwhile, which evokes the infamous Heaven’s Gate cult, can be spotted in the left corner. Lil Uzi Vert has always leaned into extra-terrestrial imagery, especially when it came the first Eternal Atake, but they are really playing it for this rollout. The “ALL WHITE” description in the bio evokes the white sneakers that the Heaven’s Gate cult wore. Then there’s the white in the artwork for the teaser single, “Uzi the Earthling.” The single, which dropped a day before the official album announcement, is only 30 seconds in length. It does, however, fall right in line with the space age vibe.

In case all that wasn’t enough, Lil Uzi Vert blessed fans with an album trailer. The trailer is a minute in length, and provides some fascinating context for the album’s concept. The trailer claims that Uvi went missing on March 6, 2020, before revealing a purple-hued spaceship. We’re then guided on to the ship, where scientists appear to be wiping the rapper’s memory. Once the process is completed, Uzi is woken up and seemingly returned to Earth. We are in for one hell of a musical experience.
