Conway The Machine & Swizz Beatz Have A Collab On The Way, Griselda Alum Shares

If you still caught up with hip-hop releases during the 2023 holiday season, you probably heard Conway The Machine’s newly released collaborative tape with Westside Gunn and The Alchemist, Hall & Nash 2. Moreover, you’ll be very pleased to know that he apparently doesn’t plan to slow down his prolific release schedule at all in 2024. Not only does the Drumwork label boss have his artists to push and support, but he’s also cooking up plenty of material on his own. During an Instagram Live session on Friday (December 29), he previewed a hopefully upcoming collaboration with none other than legendary Ruff Ryders (and beyond) producer Swizz Beatz.

Unfortunately, that snippet is pretty much all the information that we have about this cut: no title, no release date, and no project it’s set to appear on. Hopefully that changes soon as both artists think of what their next moves will be. The one and only Swizz Beatz, for example, recently shared that he has enough DMX material in the vault to craft a posthumous album. It’s unclear whether he’ll actually go through with it, though, as those releases tend to be pretty difficult, let alone controversial if done with the slightest disrespect or lack of care.

Other than Swizz Beatz and The Alchemist, Conway The Machine linked with the likes of Big Ghost Ltd., Wun Two, Conductor Williams, and many more beatsmiths for either single releases or full-length project team-ups. Of these, we’d highly recommend you check out the Williams-led CONDUCTOR MACHINE. With the Griselda-adjacent sound becoming so popular and imitated, there’s nothing like an OG pairing to refresh its quality. That’s exactly what this duo achieved over just a few tracks, and hopefully quality continues to trump quantity.

Meanwhile, Swizz recently joined Timbaland at the 2023 BET Hip-Hop Awards to announce that Verzuz is making a return. However, Tamar had nothing but love for her sister, offering congratulations to the couple who have been together “a million billion years”. Tamar responded to the rumors while driving with new fiancee JR Robinson. According to Tamar, they were “taking the kids to Disney” at the time of the stream. However, people were quick to clown Tamar for being left in the dark.

“Tamar, she didn’t tell you because you have a big mouth. Mind you, you are on live doing a whole live about this lady business,” one person noted. “Coming to the internet to address fam business is very telling why someone would exclude you,” added another. “What Toni said? “if they weren’t my sisters, they wouldn’t be my friends,” a third agreed.

Tamar Braxton has been very prominent in recent months, especially for her online feuds. Braxton and Lee’s beef has persisted even after Braxton reconciled with her man. During a recent performance, Braxton took some shots at Lee. “I know y’all lying if y’all thought I was gon let my man go because he took some crackhead to a basketball game,” Braxton said, referencing the viral photos of Lee posting up with Braxton’s ex.

However, Lee was quick to respond to the jab. “Miss Braxton, cut it out. I hurt your feelings, my love. I’m too grown and I don’t get high off internet drama it doesn’t make a red cent so I’ll leave at this,” Lee wrote over a bikini thirst trap video. Furthermore, she also dropped several screenshots showing her DMs with Braxton’s ex and just how much he was fawning over her during their brief time together. It remains unclear if the feud is going to continue as 2023 becomes 2024.

Boosie Badazz Seems Unbothered By Wack 100’s Threats

Some beef is heating up as the holidays wind down, but luckily, Boosie Badazz isn’t letting it faze him. Earlier this week, Wack 100 accused B.G. of being a “snitch,” and Boosie clapped back. “How the f**k a n***a snitch, he done 13 years, 14 years?” he asked on Instagram Live. “Get the f**k out of here.” The situation only escalated from there, when Wack threatened to beat Boosie up.

“Why Boosie mad at me? Didn’t he call [Birdman’s brother] Gangster a rat based off paperwork?” he wondered on Clubhouse. “So, he mad at me ’cause I called B.G. a rat ’cause we got the paperwork.” Wack 100 went on, claiming that he’d physically harm the Louisiana MC. “I will beat the f**k out of you, Boosie,” he said. “You know me in real life. You weigh about 117 pounds. I will beat the dog s**t out of you, boy. I will catch you.”

Those familiar with Boosie might have expected the 41-year-old to go in on Wack at this point, but instead, his response was pretty laid back. During another recent Instagram Live, he appeared to explain that the music executive’s threats aren’t worrisome to him, as he no longer has problems with anyone. “I ain’t worried about nobody,” he began, “I ain’t got no opps. I ain’t even got no opps no more. I’m in the city where everybody love me. Well, not everybody. I don’t got no problems nowhere I go. I ain’t in no beef with no n***as. Life is great.”

She told viewers asking for an apology to stop the “bullsh*t” and get out of her comments section. “I’m not apologizing, I’m not doing none of that,” she added.

Rasheeda’s response earned her quite a bit of backlash from social media users who felt as though it was disrespectful. Moreover, her unbothered demeanor in circulating clips from the live led viewers to suspect that she wasn’t taking the situation as seriously as she should. Now, she’s taken to Instagram Live once again to clear a few things up, revealing that she’s already privately apologized to K. Michelle.

So I just wanted y’all to be clear.” According to her, they ended things on good terms when they last spoke, wishing each other the best.

For her part, Rock has been seemingly antagonizing her baby daddy – first with Lil Mabu and his “MR. TAKE YA B*TCH” diss track, and more recently with K Suave.

As things between the exes became physical earlier this week, both parties are preparing to move out of their destroyed homes. Blue and his MILF Music signee Jaidyn Alexis were on social media flexing their new four-story home that the former claims to have bought his fiancee for Christmas. However, according to Rock, the “Thotiana” hitmaker didn’t pay for the property at all; it was Alexis’ money that covered the bill. “My thing is, I never wanna chime in on their bulls**t, but why won’t you just give the b**ch credit?” the Baddies cast member publicly asked her ex on Live. “She bought her own house, like, ni**a you ain’t buy s**t.”

Instead, they’re simply leasing it out for the time being while continuing to grow their record label and Alexis’ discography. “It’s rented, he said he signed her up. You can’t sign someone else up for a home purchase,” one Twitter user pointed out earlier this week. “People on the internet are so poor they think he bought her a house .”

Blueface Says He Had Someone Check Offset: “He Won’t Make Another Threat Again”

Blueface says Offset won’t be sending any more threats his way after he had one of his associates check him in Miami, earlier this week. He made the claim while speaking with Soulja Boy on Instagram Live. The two have been feuding since Blueface claimed Offset slept with Chrisean Rock.

“You wanna talk about Offset, right?” Blueface said on Instagram Live. “Listen, all that came out. Offset got mad about his wife. He made some threats. And we had someone go tap his shoulder in Miami a couple days ago and let him know he’s touchable. And he won’t make another threat again. I’m really like that, on SY.”

Blueface & Soulja Boy Trade Blows On Instagram Live, Blue Pulls Up On Soulja

Blueface and Soulja Boy is the latest rap beef brewing in the headlines, which obviously filled up with antics so far. Moreover, the two even have a fight scheduled, but we’ll have to wait and see if it actually ends up panning out. Still, at least we have some over-the-phone squabbling to witness in the meantime, and it’s not just with social media shots. The two rappers went live on Instagram together, trashing each other about being with their women, snitching, and the like. It wasn’t particularly heated or combative, though, as they stuck to their usual talking points and demeanors.

Furthermore, for those unaware, this beef started over disagreements concerning who would win a Verzuz battle. In fact, it seems like things could’ve turned physical quick, as Soulja Boy allegedly DM’d Blueface with an address. When the California rapper pulled up, Soulja was nowhere to be found, which led to him asking for him around the area. Maybe this was just a test or he caught him in a lie, but either way, it certainly raised the stakes.

Of course, these two are so chronically online, stubborn, and outspoken that they have multiple rivals to address these days. During a recent Instagram Live, fans asked Boosie Badazz if he would be attending Rod Wave’s show in Atlanta amid their ongoing beef. For obvious reasons, the Louisiana native wasn’t, but threw a bit of shade his way before changing the subject. According to him, Rod Wave offered to “pull up,” but ultimately decided to pay a lawyer instead.

The two artists’ beef first began when Boosie called Rod Wave out for allegedly sampling his song without paying him during another Instagram Live. “Can’t let you just take my sh*t and I’m not getting nothing,” he said. “I just want my split, you know, my cut … I ain’t mad, I love when they do that sh*t.” Things only escalated when he took to Twitter to continue his rant, prompting a response from Rod Wave.

Boosie went on to tease what sounds like a Rod Wave diss track, taking the tension to a new level. Rod Wave later denied stealing the song, and even threatened to quit music altogether. K. Michelle Gets Into Passionate Debate About Interracial Dating On IG Live

During a recent Instagram Live, K. Michelle shared her thoughts on interracial dating. According to her, Black women should be able to date whoever they want without facing any sort of backlash for it. Not everyone featured in her Live agreed with her message, however. One man appeared, arguing that when Black men date outside of their race they get “crucified,” questioning why the same rule wouldn’t apply to Black women.

“Black women should be allowed to date outside of their race and date who they want. Right?” K. Michelle said before beginning to debate with the men around her. “Black women is standing on what they standing on,” she stated. “Black women got they own money. They don’t need to stand on your money business.”

This is far from the only debate K. Michelle’s gotten involved in as of late. Ahead of the release of Nicki Minaj’s new album Pink Friday 2, the personality shared some stories from the early days of both of their careers. According to her, Nicki’s “Buy A Heart” was originally supposed to land on a Meek Mill album, and she was going to be a featured artist on it. At that point, she wasn’t aware of Nicki’s romantic relationship with Meek.

“‘Buy A Heart’ was on a Meek Mill album, and Nicki Minaj’s mean a** took it from me,” she told the R&B Money podcast. “He played that record, it wasn’t on his album. I said, ‘Oh, you sleeping on this.’ So I got the record… I had never slept with Meek, none of that,” she added. “She wanted to take the record from me, and she said that he had to take back his chain from me.” What do you think of K.
