Ice Spice Cops New Chain Featuring 80 CTs in Diamonds and Work $100K

Ice Spice is going crazy right now. With her new EP out, Ice Spice has decided to reward herself with a new chain.

According to XXL Mag, Benny Da Jeweler crafted the new piece for Ice Spice, clocking in at a reported $100,000.

The new pendant is huge and features an animated version of Ice Spice’s face with the trademark fro made up of diamonds.

“TOLD PRINCESS DIANA WE DOIN $100K FOR THE CHAIN!!! @icespicee WHAT THEY GON TELL US!!!” Benny wrote on Instagram.

Last Friday, Ice Spice came with a new EP. Named after one of her signature catchphrases, the Bronx rapper delivers Like..?, the first release through her partnership with 10K Projects and Capitol Records.

The new project brings the 23-year-old in collaboration with producer RIOTUSA for six new singles, including the previously released bangers “Munch (Feelin U)” and “Bikini Bottom.” The release brings in Lil Tjay for the single “Gangsta Boo.”

The full EP arrived after Ice Spice delivered the new single, “In Ha Mood,” dedicated to all the baddies on the planet.

Prior to its official release, “In Ha Mood” has amassed over 975K views on YouTube, 2.2M streams on SoundCloud, and 70K creations on TikTok. On the single, Ice Spice’s baddie demeanor exudes in the bars as she sidesteps munches, while being the one everyone wants to get next to.

Ice Spice’s “Like…?” Receives Same Pitchfork Rating As Kendrick’s “Mr. Morale”

Her EP hasn’t even been on streaming services for a week, but Ice Spice’s debut is causing a bit of controversy. The Bronx rapper recently shared Like…?, and as the project gains steam, a review by Pitchfork elicited a heated response from Hip Hop fans who questioned the rating.

The outlet gave Ice’s Like…? a 7.6 on a scale of one to 10, and quickly, social media users revisited other Hip Hop reviews. Artists like Drake, Future, Lil Uzi Vert, Travis Scott, and Metro Boomin were mentioned because Pitchfork rated all their records lower than the EP.

Ice Spice’s Like…? was also executive produced by RIOTUSA and hosted only one feature from Lil Tjay. The Drill-heavy project is being picked apart online as fans, as they often do, dissect the rapper’s official introduction.

However, people also listed the albums Pitchfork rated lower than Spice’s project, and it came as a surprise to many.

Drake’s Her Loss and Views, Travis Scott’s Rodeo, and Metro Boomin’s Heroes & Villains were mentioned. Also, Future’s I Never Liked You, Lil Uzi Vert and Future’s Pluto x Baby Pluto, and several others were among the albums listed.

Meanwhile, several of these projects spawned some of the most impactful singles in recent years, but they still didn’t measure up to Ice Spice’s debut. Additionally, one of the most controversial comparisons came with Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. That acclaimed album also received a 7.6 review.

It was noted that there isn’t one singular person reviewing records, so the scale would differ.

Do you think K-Dot and Ice’s projects deserved the same rating? Check out further reactions below.

Ice Spice Says People Now Ask Her To Buy Them Houses

She was recently spotted in the VIP at Drake’s Apollo Theater concert, but not too long ago, Ice Spice was just another aspiring artist from the Bronx. Thanks to a little thing called TikTok, her “Munch (Feelin U)” record exploded on social media. Ice captured the attention of 10K Projects and Capitol Records, changing her life for the better in ways she only imagined. Still, she says she’s just a regular girl from New York City.

“I’m just naturally super chill and nonchalant about a lot of things,” she told the New York Times. “I’ve always been that way, since I was a baby.”

Spice admitted to being inspired by the Brooklyn Drill Rap wave in 2019, specifically when Pop Smoke was gaining traction in the mainstream. Then, Ice joined the popular “Buss It Challenge” that took over TikTok and beyond. After getting a taste of going viral, she was ready to take a leap into artistry.

“Once that happened I was like, Oh, if I could do it one time, I’m pretty sure I could do it again,” she said. “That’s when I knew I could be an artist.”

“I was getting a lot of hate when I first put out my anything — content, music, whatever,” she also shared. However, as she put it, “Hate could take you a long way.”

These days, Ice Spice is adjusting to being the breadwinner of her community.

“People won’t ask you directly, like, ‘Hey, can you buy me a house?’ I mean, they will, actually,” she added. Even so, it doesn’t seem to bother her; however, it’s being unable to provide that gets under her skin.

“It’s just weird now being at a certain place and not being able to just help everybody that you want to help.”

Meanwhile, check out Ice Spice’s newly released EP Like…? below.

Keyshia Cole Jokes That Ice Spice Looks Like Faith Evans

The new “it” girl in Hip Hop is Ice Spice, and the industry is paying attention to the rising rapper. Days ago, she finally released her debut EP Like…?, and the reactions continue to pour in as Spice’s tracks run up numbers on streaming services. The ongoing social media attention has been beneficial to the Bronx beauty, earning her a few jokes from users. One person’s quip caught the attention of Keyshia Cole, considering the singer was mentioned.

Cole isn’t a stranger to reacting to fans and critics online. She recently defended the portrayal of her mother, Frankie Lons, in her upcoming biopic. This most recent instance was more lighthearted, as someone said a photo of Ice Spice with straight hair was Cole.

It was all in good fun as the Twitter user seemed to give a nod to Keyshia’s red hair looks from the 2000s. The singer took the mention in stride and replied, “That’s @faithevans not me 😩.”

After everyone laughed about it, another user added that the resemblance between Faith and Ice is uncanny.

“[Ice] is pretty af,” Cole replied. “It’s the hair colors! Love her vibes.”

Some are calling for Keyshia to collaborate with the Hip Hop newcomer. We’re not sure if they’ll link up anytime soon, but Cole is said to be working on her final album.

It’s unclear if the project or the biopic will come first, but don’t be surprised if they arrive together. We’ll keep you posted as Keyshia Cole shares more news.

Latto Can’t Recite Ice Spice Lyrics & Twitter Thinks She’s Being Shady

Latto found herself facing backlash this weekend after drawing a blank when asked to complete lyrics from Ice Spice’s “Bikini Bottom.”

During a red carpet event, Latto fielded questions for the press but it was one journalist that tested her knowledge of current hit records. A journalist from Billboard asked Latto to complete the following bars after Ice Spice raps, “How can I lose if I’m already chose?”

Latto seemed completely unaware of what the journalist was referring to. She asked for someone to help her immediately afterward.

Shortly after the clip spread across social media, people immediately felt as if Latto was being shady towards Ice Spice. A few fans noted that it feels unlikely that Latto doesn’t know the song since she’s active on TikTok. Ice Spice’s “Bikini Bottom” became one of the leading songs on the platform upon its release.

Despite how many tried to egg on the feud, others felt that it was a reach to think that Latto was trying to shade Ice Spice.

At this point, neither artist has addressed the viral clip or the controversy surrounding it.

Though the feud between the two feels forced, it comes at a convenient time in Ice Spice’s career. Last Friday, the Bronx Baddie dropped off her debut EP, Like…? including singles like “Munch (Feel U)” and “In Ha Mood.”

As for Latto, the Atlanta rapper is nearly a year removed from the release of her last project, 777. However, it appears that she’s preparing to unleash new music on her fans throughout this year. In late 2022, she locked in with GloRilla and the late Gangsta Boo for their single, “FTCU,” an undoubtedly infectious single that pays tribute to Memphis. She’s yet to reveal her 2023 plans but maybe we could expect a new project from her this year.

Ice Spice Says There is No Beef Between Her and Drake: ‘We Spoke and We’re Good’

Ice Spice Delivers Her New EP 'Like..?' | The Source

The relationship between Drake and Ice Spice was considered rocky, especially after Drake is believed to have targeted the rising star in bars on his HER LOSS album.

Speaking with The New York Times, Ice Spice revealed the two are “cool.”

“We spoke after that a couple times and we’re good,” she added. There’s no beef.”

Fans pointed toward a potential rift because Drake wrapped in his “BackOutsideBoyz” single, The Boy raps:

“She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute, yeah.”

Fans immediately believed that it was about the “Munch” rapper. With the rumors running wild, Ice Spice hit Twitter with the following response:

The two first connected after the “Munch” single blew up, leading to a trip to OVO Fest for Ice Spice to hang with Drake.

On Friday, Ice Spice arrived with a new EP. Named after one of her signature catchphrases, the Bronx rapper delivers Like..?, the first release through her partnership with 10K Projects and Capitol Records.

Ice Spice And Drake Are Still ‘Cool’ According To The Rapper Despite Their Rumored Falling Out Late Last Year

In a recent interview, Ice Spice set the record straight on her rumored beef with Drake. During a chat with The New York Times, the “Munch” rapper wanted to clarify that she has no issue with the Canadian hitmaker.

Initially, it was rumored that Drake had dissed the Bronx native on a track titled “BackOutsideBoyz” from his Her Loss album, which was released this past November. On the track, Drake raps, “She a ten tryna rap, it’s good on mute.”

After gaining wind of the supposed dig, Ice Spice took to Twitter, writing, “at least ima 10.”

Now, the 23-year-old viral sensation seemingly walks back the reported falling out. When has about the brush up in November, she told the outlet, “We’re cool. We spoke after that a couple [of] times, and we’re good,” further clarifying, “There’s no beef.”

With the release of her debut EP, Like…?, this past Friday (January 20), she has been busy inside and outside music. Songs “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood” continues to gain traction on streaming. While “Princess Diana” has been declared a fan favorite.

Also, Ice Spice has been tapped to be a part of Beyoncé’s new Ivy Park x Adidas collection. Migos rapper Offset, his son Kody, and model Devon Aoki are expected to be included in the campaign.

Ice Spice Look-A-Likes Descended Upon Times Square For A Hilarious Flash Mob Stunt

A group of Ice Spice doppelgangers was recently seen dancing around Times Square. The hilarious stunt was presumably to help promote her recently released debut EP Like…?, which was released this past Friday (January 20). The red, curly-headed dancers caused a flurry on social media, and judging by the response, it seems like the gag worked in Ice Spice’s favor.

The 23-year-old viral hitmaker’s new project featured a collection of some of her recent chart-topping hits, such as “Munch (Feelin’ U),” “Bikini Bottom,” and “In Ha Mood.” Also, the EP includes some new tracks, namely “Princess Diana,” which has quickly become a fan favorite, as well as “Actin A Smoochie” and “Gangsta Boo” with Lil Tjay.

This new project has seemingly set the Bronx rapper up for success. It will be exciting to see where she goes from here.

Outside of music, Ice Spice is one of the prominent artists that have been tapped to be a part of Beyoncé’s new Ivy Park x Adidas collection. Migos rapper Offset, his son Kody, and model Devon Aoki are expected to be included in the campaign.

The “Park Trail” line will feature gender-neutral performance apparel pieces, including sequined jackets, faux fur coats, canvas tracksuits, performance tights, hoodies, sweaters, and sweatshirts in forest green, lime green, cream white, indigo orange, purple, and a camouflage print.

In a statement released by the company, the new line is described as a “trail-blazing expression of performance wear inspired by the resilience of the outdoors, the spirit of the streets, and the possibilities of the future.”

The collection will be available online and in Adidas stores starting February 9 and in select retailers globally on February 10.
