 In a spectacle that went beyond the boundaries of traditional fashion events, The Lo-Life Movement’s 2024 Capsule Line reveal at the annual “Lo Goose On The Deuce” in Times Square drew hundreds of Lo Life / Polo Ralph Lauren connoisseurs from across the country. Lo Life enthusiasts and fans who could not attend the event were able to view this phenomenon on Parti.com and also buy the new collection directly from Livestream, which sold out the Jaclar sneaker collection within an hour. The Lo Life movement started in 1988 and has created a fashion phenomenon around the world. The event not only showcased the movement’s evolution but also featured a contest that brought enthusiasts together to flaunt their rarest and most exclusive Polo Drip. 

Enthusiasts from all over the country came to showcase their rare and most coveted Polo Ralph Lauren pieces, some even from the ’80s and ’90s, with final contestants reigning from California, Maryland, and Minnesota. In a star-studded celebration marking its 40th anniversary, G-SHOCK, the renowned watch brand synonymous with durability and cutting-edge technology, took center stage with a remarkable press conference and an electrifying concert featuring international superstar J Balvin. 50 Years of Hip-Hop Fashion – a Celebration of Longevity

2023 was the year of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop celebrations across New York City and beyond. A group of industry veterans, AllHipHop, HipHopCloset (HipHopCloset.com), GoodGirlPR (www.goodgirlpr.com), and production company The Oracle Media decided to collaborate to produce a unique fashion show that celebrated hip-hop fashion in Brooklyn, New York, one of the predominant music hubs of the genre.

The fashion show took place at the luxury car brand, PORSCHE, which is located in Industry City. Lining the runway were fashion influencers, bloggers, and some of hip-hop finest such as Pete Rock and Tek of Smif-N-Wessun, also known as the Cocoa Brovaz. DJ T. Boogie kept the music flowing as the night progressed to attendees who relished Baretenura cocktails.  The night also marked the 25th Anniversary of HipHopCloset and AllHipHop, which was indeed an accomplishment and a reason to celebrate.
