Multi-platinum recording artist Latto has been making a splash in fashion and this week she left no crumbs across the pond. Latto attended her first Milan Fashion Week debut on Wednesday, 9/20 by attending the Diesel, Etro, and Roberto Cavalli SS24 runway shows. On Thursday, 9/21, she attended the GCDS and Blumarine shows.  Latto made a statement in a colorful graphic dress at the Diesel by Glenn Martens SS24 runway show at Milan Fashion Week.

Saquon Barkley Makes Runway Debut at Hermès NYFW Show

Saquon Barkley, the star running back of the New York Giants, made a stunning runway debut at the Hermès show, celebrating the Men’s Autumn-Winter 2023 collection. The event, held under the artistic direction of Veronique Nichanian, took place at Skylight at the Refinery, an iconic location in the historic heart of Williamsburg.

With the cityscape as a breathtaking backdrop beneath the venue’s shimmering glass dome, the Autumn-Winter collection was unveiled, bathed in warm light as the sun set. Saquon Barkley joined the ranks of models showcasing the latest Hermès creations, turning heads and adding a touch of athletic prowess to the runway.

The star-studded event continued with an exclusive afterparty two floors above the catwalk. Notable personalities, including Taiki Waititi, joined Saquon and the models in celebrating the Hermès Men’s Universe.

For his Fall Winter 2023 look, Saquon Barkley sported a stylish ensemble that included a straight blouson in black 180’s compact wool with a leather back and snap-on clasp, a coffee compact cotton poplin shirt with a high collar and buttoned tab, black stretch cotton drill wide pleated trousers with an elastic waist, and brown calfskin ankle boots, showcasing his impeccable sense of style and adding a dash of sportsmanship to the world of fashion.

Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden Says Kanye West is Not a Bad Person

Ye is receiving words of support from Adidas CEO Bjørn Gulden. In an interview, Gulden stated he doesn’t believe Kanye West is a bad person.

“And then as creative people he did some statements which wasn’t that good,” Gulden said. “And that caused Adi to break the contract and withdraw the product. Very unfortunate because I don’t think he meant what he said and I don’t think he’s a bad person it just came across that way.

“That meant we lost that business. One of the most successful collabs in history — very said. But again, when you work with third parties that can happen. It’s part of the game.”

Adidas reports a revenue of $437 million in the first release of leftover Yeezy sneakers from their nixed deal with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. The first run of shoes hit online in June, selling out. The second run began to sell on Wednesday.

The sale of the sneakers was the efforts to empty their inventory responsibly. After the first launch, CEO Bjørn Gulden said, “We will continue to carefully sell off more of the existing Yeezy inventory,”

Adidas has also announced the donation of over 10 million euros to groups like the Anti-Defamation League, the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change, and Robert Kraft’s Foundation to Combat Antisemitism.

According to Billboard, 20% to 25% of the stock was unloaded in the first sale.

ICYMI: LA Native YG Took New York Fashion Week By Storm

Rapper YG came to the east coast and showed out during New York Fashion Week. Sporting dope upscale looks, the west coast native kicked off the week by attending the Palomo Spain SS24 Runway Eckhaus Latta Show, held at the renowned Rockefeller Plaza. He later joined the festivities at the highly-exclusive CR x Dundas New York Fashion Week afterparty, hosted at the iconic Casa Cipriani in New York City. 

The following day, YG made an appearance at the Phillip Lim SS24 Fashion Show and that evening he attended and performed at the highly-exclusive Flaunt Afterparty located at the glamorous Ned NoMad Hotel. The star-studded event welcomed the grammy-nominated artist as he sported a cool leather ensemble by Jean Paul Gautier. On Tuesday the 12th, YG attended the GQ X Christian Louboutin Runway Show and on Wednesday the 13th he wrapped up his NYFW appearances by walking at the Willy Chavarria SS24 Show before performing at the Willy Chavarria afterparty.

Having real Versace and Coogie pieces dominate the shoes were a necessity”, Dumas revealed. “Creating became something that fell into my lap. I was on vacation. I was staying with my sister who has everything in the world. I wanted to make her something money can’t buy. I decided to make her a custom pair of Crocs and the rest is history. It was my first time experimenting with any type of arts & crafts project and I have been customizing Crocs and other items for the past two years”, states Kim who made her sister a wedge Croc with bling on it. “It gave me so much joy to see my sister’s reaction”.

The Custom Black Biggie Smalls Crocs stand as a symbol of how hip hop has transcended musical boundaries to shape various aspects of culture, including fashion.
