STARZ Announces Final Season of 'Power Book II: Ghost'

STARZ revealed that the upcoming fourth season of Power Book II: Ghost will mark the conclusion of the epic drama series, airing in two parts. Part one will premiere on Friday, June 7, with part two following on Friday, Sept. 6 at midnight on the STARZ app. Linear broadcasts will debut at 8:00 PM ET/PT in the U.S. and 9:00 PM ET in Canada.

The season four premiere on June 7 coincides with the 10th Anniversary of “Power’s” debut on STARZ. The Power franchise has spawned two additional spinoffs, including “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” and “Power Book IV: Force.”

This news comes shortly after STARZ announced plans to expand the Power universe by developing a new prequel series, “Origins,” exploring the origin story of fan-favorite characters Ghost and Tommy.

Viewers can catch up on the gripping third season of Power Book II: Ghost on the STARZ app before the final season premiere.

The cast of Power Book II: Ghost includes Michael Rainey Jr., Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, and many more. Brett Mahoney serves as showrunner and executive producer for the fourth season, with Courtney A. Kemp, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and Mark Canton serving as executive producers. Lionsgate Television produces the series for STARZ.

Like the perfect combination of jalapeños, chili, and cheese on a plate of loaded nachos, each mixtape element complements the other, resulting in a sonic feast for hip-hop enthusiasts.

The mixtape, hosted by Trap-A-Holics, features two notable guest appearances. Mike WiLL’s long-time collaborator 2 Chainz lends his signature flair to “PULL UP GHOST CLAN,” adding an extra layer of energy to the track. Meanwhile, Chief Keef continues his streak of collaborations with rising star Sexyy Red on “DAMN SHORTY.”

Four previously released Chief Keef-Mike WiLL collaborations, including “LOVE DON’T LIVE HERE,” “HARLEY QUINN,” “STATUS,” and “BANG BANG,” close out the project.

Vybz Kartel’s Conviction Quashed Amid Jury Bribery Revelations

Jamaican dancehall artist Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, has been at the center of a legal saga spanning over a decade. Benzino Shares Compilation of Eminem Saying the N-Word, Declares Him Racist

Benzino is continuing his onslaught on Eminem. This time, he shared a compilation of Shady saying the “n-word” and claims the legendary rapper is racist.

“Thoughout history you always had some black people who will constantly make excuses for racist white people,” Benzino wrote. “There will always be someone of color who thinks this is ok and it’s sad.”

Just a day before, Benzino turned his attention toward Eminem. With the trailer for the “Doomsday Pt. 2” video out from Shady, Benzino criticized the legend’s face.

“Can someone tell me what in the plastic surgery happened to his face??” Benzino wrote. “He looks like a walking corpse. Nah…this ain’t it. RAP ELVIS DESTROYED @Eminem.”

Last month, appearing on The Art of Dialogue, Benzino claims he “destroyed” Eminem, referring to his “Rap Elvis” single.

“‘Rap Elvis’ already destroyed him,” Benzino said. “I already killed him with ‘Rap Elvis.’ Where’s he at? Where’s the response? I want to battle him face-to-face. I think he’s overrated and sucks as a rapper.”

A week before that, in the same Drink Champs episode where Benzino called out Eminem, he also cried and said he doesn’t hate Eminem.

In the opening part of Benzino’s episode, he is brazen in his opinion toward Slim Shady.

“F**k Eminem and fuck everybody down with Eminem,” Benzino opened. “My thing is, that n**a won’t face me. When we was in Puerto Rico I was with west with a gun on the dashboard and we caught Green Lantern outside the DJ convention. Don’t f**k around with me.

“We come from a whole different trenches. That n***a ain’t us.”

But once the liquor set in, Benzino had a softer response, even crying.

“I don’t hate Eminem. I don’t know him to hate him,” Benzino said. “I don’t hate white people tired of this shit, man. It’s just too much. I don’t want to be the bad guy.

“Eminem ain’t no bad person. He belongs in Hip Hop. It’s a big racist problem in America right now and Eminem could probably stop half of it.”

Kansas City Chiefs stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are teaming together off the field. According to ABC’s Good Morning America, the Super Bowl champions will be opening a restaurant called 1587 Prime.

The steakhouse is titled after a combination of their numbers and will be in Kansas City. The “experiential modern steakhouse” will be partnered with Noble 33 and set for early 2025 opening.

“Working with Patrick and Travis has been incredible,” said Tosh Berman, co-founder of Noble 33. “As longtime supporters of our other restaurants, we worked together to combine their favorite elements of those experiences into what we developed for 1587 Prime. They are natural hosts and can’t wait to bring a unique modern American steakhouse experience to Kansas City.”

Cardi B Drops New Single To Lackluster Reviews

Cardi B is someone who has ascended to one of the biggest names in rap. However, she has done so with only one album to show for it. Overall, Invasion Of Privacy was her 2018 debut and it was a massive success. There were numerous hits on this project and fans have been waiting for a follow-up. Although she has come out with a plethora of big singles, a new album still eludes her. Well, it appears as though an album could be coming this year, as Cardi has started off the year with two singles.

Just a few weeks ago, she dropped off the “Like WHat (Freestyle).” Overall, it was a song that went over well and fans were hopeful for whatever else was in store. Today, Cardi decided to drop off even more new music with the track “Enough (Miami).” The music video for the song is provocative, and as per usual, Cardi comes through with some aggressive-sounding bars. However, it seems like not everyone is feeling this effort. In fact, some feel as though Cardi is getting complacent in her raps.

Cardi B Releases “Enough (Miami)”

In the comments section over at The Neighborhood Talk, there was all sorts of discussion about how underwhelming this new cut is. “Cardi.. you was right. The album is NOT ready,” one person wrote. “This sound so 2018 … Cardi hang it up,” said another. Many of the comments were similar to this, with one commenter noting “She will give you a good visual, but never will give you bars.” After a disappointing rollout with “Bongos,” it seems like Cardi is at a crossroads. Whether or not she can get back to critical acclaim, remains to be seen.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Accused Of “Scamming” Rolling Loud With Lackadaisical Performance

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign are still in the midst of their Vultures rollout. Overall, they have seen quite a bit of success with Vultures 1. Now, however, fans are waiting on them to come through with Vultures 2. The album is not out yet, and fans are starting to get antsy. However, the pair has come through with some listening parties, which have effectively given fans something to be hopeful for. On Thursday, however, they had a huge opportunity at their fingertips as they performed at Rolling Loud.

This Rolling Loud performance was a special one as they were the only set of the day. If you had bought a three-day pass to the festival, you were granted access to this special set. Unfortunately, it seems as though some festivalgoers wish they had just stayed home entirely. In footage posted to Twitter, Kanye and Ty could be seen walking around the stage, barely engaging with the music. In fact, some reported that their mics weren’t even on, which made this more of a listening party.

In the tweets below, you ca see just disappointed people were with the entire ordeal. Overall, it just wasn’t the best look for Ye and Ty. Especially when you consider how Vultures 2 is a week past due at this point. Fans want the album, and they were hoping that tonight could serve as some sort of launch point. Instead, it was a disappointing performance that showcases just how out of touch Ye is these days.
