Dirk Nowitzki Shares Heartbreaking Admission About Playing Career
Dirk Nowitzki is the biggest legend in the history of the Dallas Mavericks. He was able to win a title for the team back in 2011, and since that time, he has been heralded as one of the best big men of all time. He was an incredible shooter and scorer, and there is no doubt that he is a player who is highly respected by all of his peers and even his opponents.
The NBA superstar retired a couple of years ago, however, he has been dealing with a lot of pain in his joints. Nowtizki has been adamant about these ailments and while speaking to Alex Kennedy, Nowitzki revealed that he actually regrets not retiring sooner. This is because he feels like he can’t be the best dad to his children.

“I keep thinking whether the last two years in the NBA were really worth it,” Nowitzki said. “If I had quit two years earlier, I could probably move better today and play soccer with the kids sometimes. I can’t do that at all now.”
Professional sports can be very difficult on an athletes body, especially when they are as tall as Nowitzki is. Hopefully, however, he is able to get some care as it would be a shame if he lived the rest of his life in such pain.
Meek Mill Asks His “Big Homie” Elon Musk For A Favor After Twitter Acquisition
Elon Musk made one of the biggest acquisitions in media last month after dropping $44B to buy out Twitter. There have been plenty of mixed reactions to the news. Some felt that it’s dangerous to have a single owner of a platform like Twitter while others think that Elon Musk’s leadership is necessary for the sake of free speech.

It seems that some feel that Musk should’ve opened the floor for other investors to chip in. Meek Mill went to Twitter where he said that Elon Musk should’ve allowed others to invest with him. “Elon musk let us invest in Twitter with you ‘big homie,’” Meek wrote. No word on if Elon saw the tweet but he has yet to respond.
Elon Musk already has some big plans ahead after acquiring Twitter. For one, he said that he plans on making Twitter private, which would impede any plans Meek has to invest in the company. Secondly, Elon Musk hinted at the idea of charging commercial and government users a slight fee for using the platform.
According to Rolling Stone, Musk did have a few investors who chipped in on the $44B acquisition quietly. An SEC filing revealed that this included the Saudi Royal family and some rich Trump supporters.
What do you think of Elon Musk buying Twitter? Let us know in the comments.

Kevin Hart Explains Why Dave Chappelle’s Attacker Needed To Be Beat Up
It was a hectic time at the Netflix Is A Joke comedy festival in Los Angeles this week. While fans were able to catch some of the best comics in the world share a stage, Dave Chappelle found himself getting attacked by a festival-goer. A man, who was identified as Isaiah Lee, stormed the stage in an attempt to tackle Dave Chappelle but it didn’t take long for security to haul him off and beat him down.
Kevin Hart recently stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live where he chimed in on the matter. While Lee was taken out on a stretcher, Kevin Hart said that “it needed to happen.” The comedian explained that Dave’s security beating Lee down sent a strong message across to anyone considering breaching the line between audience and entertainer.

“Somebody ran onstage and got their ass whooped,” Hart said. “Not scary. It’s one of those things that needed to happen, though…do you want people to continue to think that they can cross that line and break the barrier of entertainer [and audience]?”
He added, “Somebody getting their ass whooped sends a message out to other people that were like, ‘You know, I was thinking about doing that. But after seeing that, I don’t really want to do that.’”
Hart explained that people need to realize that people are just doing their jobs when they’re on stage and that the audience needs to be completely aware of that.
“I think that the world that we’re in right now — there are a lot of lines that are being blurred, and sometimes you gotta take a lot of steps back to take a step forward,” he added. “I think it’s time to get back to a place of respect for your live entertainer and understand that you’re coming to a show.”

Charles Oliveira Stripped Of Lightweight Title: Details
Charles Oliveira has held the UFC lightweight title for the last year or so, and his last victory was at UFC 269 where he was able to defeat Dustin Poirier. It was a huge win for the fighter, and fans were excited to see how his next title defense would go. As many of you know by now, he is fighting Justin Gaethje this weekend, and it should be yet another exciting matchup between two warriors.
Unfortunately, there has been a huge twist in this weekend’s plans. Today, both fighters stepped on the scale, and Oliveira was unable to make weight. He weighed in at 155.5 pounds and an hour later, he weighed in at the exact same number.

As a result of this breakage of the rules, Oliveira has been stripped of his title. Luckily, the fight is still going to take place, however, the only person who is allowed to win the lightweight title is Gaethje. If Oliveira were to win the fight, he will not get his belt back, and instead, it will be considered vacant. Needless to say, this is a huge shock to the lightweight division.
It is very rare that a fighter doesn’t make weight, especially when the stakes are so high. Having said that, there is no doubt that UFC 274 is already incredibly dramatic.
