Sherri Shepherd Responds To Wendy Williams Saying She Won’t Be Watching Her Show

Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Wendy Williams suffered underlying health issues. A source revealed that, on some days, the television personality needed help getting out of her bed, putting on clothes, and eating. Due to that, Williams did not return to her hit series, The Wendy Williams Show.

Instead, comedian, Sherri Shepherd, took over for her back in February. Just weeks after she began hosting, producers confirmed that Wendy’s show would be canceled in June, and The Sherri Shepherd Show would launch. It was reported that for years executives wanted to end Wendy’s show due to how “unbearable” she had become– all they needed was a suitable replacement.

Yesterday (May 7), Wendy addressed her show being canceled during an interview with Fat Joe. She explained that she missed coming to the show, but assured viewers that she would be back. When asked if she would be starting something new or returning to her old platform, the 57-year-old responded, “I’m coming back to The Wendy Williams Show. Absolutely. Absolutely.”

She also addressed Shepherd taking her place, “I like her, but I won’t be watching her. Because I know what she’s going to be doing, and that’s really not my thing.”

In response the seeing the interview, Shepherd took to Instagram live and stated how she felt. “She’s not well,” Shepherd stated, “it’s just a lot going on in Wendy’s life.” She went on to say that she doesn’t have time for negativity, and claimed that she would be keeping Wendy in her prayers.

Travis Scott’s First Public Performance Since Astroworld Saw Him Throwing Stacks Of Cash & Drinking 1942

La Flame is back in action. On Saturday night, Travis Scott took to the stage for his first public performance since the tragic crowd crush that unfolded at his 2021 Astroworld Festival, giving his all for audiences at Miami’s E11even club.

According to Page Six, the 31-year-old threw a massive wad of cash into the crowd while tightly holding onto a bottle of Don Julio 1942 tequila before it was his turn to perform. “Everybody owes me a shot,” the rapper reportedly said.

“We need every stripper to report to the f*cking stage right now,” he continued. “We need every bottle reported to this motherf*ckin floor.”

It’s been noted that the crowd was more than pleased as Scott launched into a performance of “Antidote,” which was followed by “Highest in the Room,” “Pick Up The Phone,” “Goosebumps,” and “SICKO MODE.”

“The crowd was singing every word to his songs,” Page Six‘s spy informed the publication. In total, the father of two performed for about 45 minutes, from 3:30 AM to 4:15 AM, tables for the Formula 1 party are said to have cost between $5,000 to $100,000.

Scott’s return to the stage has been long-awaited by his fans. Previously, he played a private set at Bootsy Bellows during Coachella weekend for a small crowd – a far cry from the headlining spot he initially expected to have, but still, better than nothing.

During Oscars season, Scott also performed at a private house party in Bel-Air that was attended by Serena Williams and Leonardo DiCaprio, among other stars.

Amber Heard’s Name Temporarily Changed To “Amber Turd” On IMDb

Looks like Amber Heard was the butt of a pretty nasty joke yesterday. As TMZ reports, while her ongoing defamation trial with Johnny Depp has been put on a hiatus, the 36-year-old has been taking some time to relax with her family, although the latest headlines about her might make that kind of hard.

On Saturday, May 7th, it was revealed that someone had changed the Aquaman starlet’s name on the International Movie Database to ‘Amber Turd’ – a nickname that she picked up after word got out that she allegedly defecated in Depp’s bed.

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor actually addressed the incident during his testimony, calling it “absurd and grotesque,” although he managed to find at least a bit of humour in the situation.

In case you’re not familiar, the then-couple found themselves fighting in 2016, around Heard’s birthday. Depp left the premises and when he returned, he found a large piece of feces in the bed. While the actress maintains that it was one of their small dogs who left behind the mess, the father of two thinks otherwise.

On top of that, one of his security guards/drivers testified that Heard told Depp the whole thing was a “horrible practical joke gone wrong” on the way to Coachella the next day.

It’s entirely possible that the bed incident will come up as Heard continues her testimony, although it’s been noted that continuing with the dog story could ding her with the jury, as “nobody really buys that [the] doo-doo came from anything but a human.”

Ari Fletcher Responds To Hate Over Bringing Her Son To The Club

Many know Ari Fletcher as one of the top influencers on Instagram. After all, with over five million followers, she’s sure to have popped up on your timeline a few times. Nonetheless, aside from being a content creator, the Chicago native is also a mother. She and G Herbo are parents to their, now four-year-old son, Yosohn Santana Wright.

Their co-parenting relationship has not always been the best. Just recently, the two got into a heated Instagram battle. Back in March, Herbo– who was born Herbert Randall Wright III– made story posts stating that he missed his son and hadn’t seen him in a while. This led to social media users blaming Ari without knowing her reasoning.

But of course, it didn’t take long for the 26-year-old model to clap back at trolls online. She revealed that her child told her that his father’s girlfriend, Taina Williams, had harmed him. G Herbo and Taina defended themselves, and until a few hours, everything between the family seemed mellow.

Earlier, Ari jumped on live to discuss something that has been trending for days now. On May 5, videos were posted to Instagram of Ari and her family inside, what looked like to many, a club. Footage showed older women twerking and hookah being smoked as Yosohn played in the background with a balloon.

While some saw this as harmless, others weren’t pleased. One person was so concerned, that they created a petition and titled it, “Give [G Herbo] Full Custody of Yosohn!” In the description, the creator wrote, “… Even Yosohn was at the club! Club filled with hookah smoke, alcohol, Instagram cat, and twerking. That is no environment for Yosohn.”

Initially, Ari didn’t seem too bothered by people down on her parenting skills, but she took to Instagram to address it. “It wasn’t a f*cking club,” she said with a mug on her face. She also added, “Sign that petition, do what you need to do.”

Ari also insinuated that her baby’s father does not try to see their child anyway. “How you gonna get a petition to voluntarily give my baby to somebody who ain’t even asking for him?”

Jack Harlow Lands A Lil Wayne Feature On “Poison”

Of the four features that Jack Harlow snagged for his Come Home The Kids Miss You album, Drake’s appearance on “Churchill Downs” appears to have emerged as a fan favourite, although Lil Wayne’s “Poison” is following quickly behind.

Landing a Tunechi feature is a huge moment for the 24-year-old, and he didn’t hesitate to bring his A-game when it came to crafting his own bars. “Listen to them, but you never trust them / Entertain them, but you never f*ck them / You went and got that wax for nothing  Enjoying the attention, but don’t need a husband,” he raps as the track starts.

Another standout title is “Movie Star” which finds Pharrell not only spitting over the beat but also putting his mastermind composer skills to work on the production, as well as “Dua Lipa,” on which Harlow shoots his shot with the English pop star.

Have you streamed Come Home The Kids Miss You yet? If not, check it out here, and if yes, share your top three favourite tracks in the comment section below.

[WATCH] Wendy Williams Reveals To Fat Joe ‘Unfortunately I Only Have $2’

Screen Shot 2022 05 08 at 8.28.10 AM

Rapper Fat Joe reunited with talk show host Wendy Williams and she revealed she only has $2.
Wendy Williams admitted during a sit-down interview with Fat Joe that while she misses being on The Wendy Williams Show, she won’t be tuning in to Sherri anytime soon.

“I wish I was there. I wish I was there right now to talk about it,” she told the rapper in an interview shared on Friday, May 6. “I’m glad I’m able to talk about when I come back, you know?”

It was announced in February that The Wendy Williams Show was being canceled and Shepherd would be taking over the beloved chat-fest’s timeslot with a talk show of her own after Williams was forced to take an extended break due to a series of health woes.

Now, the former radio DJ appears to be implying the show isn’t gone for good. When asked if she meant an entirely new series or if there were plans for her to come back to her old show, Williams didn’t hesitate.

“I’m coming to The Wendy Williams Show,” she said firmly. “Absolutely. Absolutely.”

As far as Shepherd’s new show goes, Williams just isn’t sold. She even interrupted the podcaster to shade her fellow talk show host.

“I won’t be watching her because I know what she’ll be doing and that’s not really my thing … you know what I’m saying?” she replied, quickly turning the focus back to her own plans for the future. “But I love, I love being on my own show. And I love that people love to watch it, you know, all the time.”

Lil Baby Releases New Song “Dark Mode” About Ja Morant In New Beats Campaign

Screen Shot 2022 05 08 at 7.24.14 AM

Beats by Dre (Beats) teams up with Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Baby and NBA All-Star Ja Morant in its latest campaign. The 90-second video will air in Game 3 of the NBA Playoffs, during which Morant will be playing.

The campaign is centered around Lil Baby and Ja Morant’s friendship and mutual admiration, which ultimately led to Lil Baby writing “Dark Mode” about the player. Both the track and the campaign play off Morant’s ethos around basketball, which can be summed up with the phrase, “welcome to the dark.” While many want to bask in the spotlight, one’s work ultimately illuminates itself as a result of relentlessly honing their craft in the darkness.

Lil Baby’s track focuses on “going into dark mode,” a behavior which has ultimately made Morant one of the most exciting players to watch in the league. The spot also visually reflects darkness, with both superstars appearing solely in monochromatic black and white throughout the entirety of the video.

“Ja has been one of my favorite players to watch. We’ve been locked in,” said Lil Baby. “This is not my first time partnering with Beats, but we took it up a notch with this original song. The world gets to experience ‘Dark Mode’ for the first time in a way that’s crazy!”

Beats first partnered with Lil Baby on its 2020 award-winning campaign titled “You Love Me,” while Ja Morant was recently signed as an ambassador to the brand. In the new spot, Lil Baby sports Beats Studio Buds in Moon Gray and Morant wears Beats Studio Buds in Sunset Pink, available exclusively at Target.

The Source Magazine Remembers Chris Lighty Nine Years Later On His Birthday

Screen Shot 2022 05 08 at 7.18.20 AM

Even though Baby Chris didn’t recognize his own born day, we do by celebrating his works even after his untimely death.

Today would’ve been Chris Lighty’s 54th birthday, but he was raised in a very structured Jehovah’s Witness household so he never celebrated birthdays or holidays. Chris became the most influential hip hop manager through his management and marketing imprint, Violator. Violator was the real Empire before Lee Daniels hit series. The impressive roster included Missy Elliot, P. Diddy, 5O Cent, Foxy Brown, Busta Rhymes, A Tribe Called Quest, Mariah Carey, Mobb Deep, and more.

To the outside world, Chris Lighty was an alluring powerful executive who negotiated unprecedented deals with his partner, Mona Scott-Young. Outside of his insane work ethic he had layers about him that made him a remarkable human being, friend, mentor and support system to many people.

Through Violator management, Chris and Mona became the cerebrum of hip hop, developing and sustaining careers while structuring lucrative marketing and branding deals that helped grow hip hop into becoming a viable entity- cementing its place in popular culture.

“Hip Hop was everything to Chris,” says Mona.

“I’m so proud of what Chris has done for our culture. I’m proud that the young guy that I sat next to on a stoop in the Bronx was able to conceptualize a dream and really make it happen.  Everything we sat out to do we did.  We stayed focused and accomplished it all.  So much of who I am today has everything to do with the fact that Chris had a dream. My relationships, my ability to leverage the success of hip hop into mainstream culture and our ability to provide opportunities to others came from Chris. We locked arms, came together and his dream became my dream.“

Sadly, those dreams were cut short when Chris Lighty was found shot to death in an apartment in NYC on August 30, 2012, from an apparent suicide. He will continue to be missed by the Hip Hop community.
