Megan Thee Stallion Tearfully Discusses The Last Piece Of Advice Her Mom Gave Her Before Her Passing

During a recent interview with Ebro and Nadeska on Apple Music 1, Megan Thee Stallion, 27, discusses her newest album release ‘Traumazine’  juggling a crazy rap career and the loss of her mom. Megan’s mom, Holly Thomas, passed away in March 2019 from brain cancer.  Thomas used to rap herself under the name “Holly-Wood” and helped steer her daughter’s early career. Sadly, Megan’s grandmother also passed away just weeks later.  In the interview, she talks about the final piece of advice her mother gave her and how her mother’s death continues to affect her.  “At this point in my life, I really realized that my mama was really driving the car for a long time,” she mused. “I didn’t even have to think about too many things when mama was with me. I feel like it is just recently that it’s clicking to me, like who can I ask anything to?”  Admitting that she hates to put people in her business “When I’m going through something personal, I’m like, ‘I just got to pray,’ because I don’t even know who I can ask. Who can I ask about this situation? And who do I trust?” Through tears she then went on to say When I would do something good,  my mamma, would say “good job, that was good we did that.” admitting that she feels that she shouldn’t be crying by now when talking about her mom but also jokes through the tears. “But I know my mama she would say get your sh*t together.” Megan, a college graduate, and 5-time Grammy-winning rapper announced her mom’s death in a since-deleted Instagram post, tearfully recalling the last conversation she had with her mom and how her words get her through. “She was just like, ‘Just because I’m sick, you and T Farris, y’all don’t stop. Y’all need to go to L.A. and still do your show.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. I’m going to be back up here in a little bit.’ And then it was just over so quick and I was just like, ‘Oh my God, what do I do?’ She said, ‘Don’t stop,’ so then I just took that literally. And we’re here today,” she added.

During Wednesday’s episode, Harvey and Taylor had an intimate conversation about their philosophies for relationships of all kinds, and yall know when girlfriends get together the conversation goes in many different directions. Within the conversation, Teyona reminds Lori of the many discussions they have had throughout their friendship saying, “You know we have deep conversations, and when we talk it is always from the perspective of women to women not telling you what you should do how you should do it, especially since we are two different ages.” Adding ” I think you are an amazing young woman you are dating and living on our terms and continue to do that and have fun.” Through the giggles, private jokes, and gem-dropping moments the theme of the conversation was “sip with caution.” Not just with themselves but also in dating, business relationships, and friendships.  “They deserve to be handled with care, and if they aren’t, there’s a chance you’ll get burned. The SKN founder said she lives a life without regrets, no matter what other people think. “I am very much in a space right not that I am not doing anything that is going to compromise my peace and happiness.” She says.  “So I think taking control of your life and making sure you like maintaining your power don’t give your power away to anybody, that’s the key to like truly being happy and in and out of a relationship,”  Harvey Admits that she almost got married very young Harvey revealed. “I felt like I hadn’t really experienced anything. I didn’t really know myself, I didn’t really know what I liked, what I didn’t like. I just feel like I hadn’t really experienced life.” She said she eventually came to a point where she wanted to “date on my terms.” She added, “However I want to move, whatever I want to do, I’m going to do it. And if it’s no longer serving me, I’m going to move on.”

Beyoncé Bought The Stars Outside For “Club Renaissance” Her Secret Album Release Party

Beyoncé had a secret Renaissance party at the Times Square Edition hotel in NYC over the weekend and the celebs showed up and showed out for the star-studded event. Dubbed “Club Renaissance,” the bash was Bey’s version of Studio 54, challenging her guests to dress in their funkiest threads. Bey herself dazzled like a disco ball in vintage House of Timothy White and Tiffany & CO jewels with her husband by her side. 

The Studio 54-themed event was attended by famous faces like Kendrick Lamar, Chloe Bailey, and Lala just to name a few. Guests rose to the occasion and channeled their big disco energy with gold sequin, unbuttoned shirts with chest hairs hanging out, and their best silky smooth ensembles.  The secret party was definitely the event to be at, Quest Love confirmed it with one Tweet stating “I literally watched an entire club LOSE IT.” https://twitter.com/questlove/status/1555816733700669440?s=21

Having plenty to celebrate the Renaissance album debut at number 1. on the Billboard 200, marking the first album released by a woman in 2022 to land at the top. Renaissance is Queen Beys 7th Studio album and the first since 2016.

“I never liked having hair” Doja explained to her 24.1 million followers Thursday night after revealing a new buzz cut during an Instagram live. She was clearly having a transformative moment, mentally and physically and we were all here for it to listen and watch the ‘Kiss Me More’ singer let go of the very thing her fans never see, her natural hair she explains because she is constantly wearing wigs.   “What is the use of having hair if you’re not gonna wear it out, I don’t even sport it. ” Doja says as she talked about her decision to shave off her head. “I feel like I was never supposed to have hair anyway. I never liked having hair. I cannot tell you one time, since the beginning of my life, that I’ve ever been like, ‘This is cool.’ I just do not like to have hair,” she said. The Grammy winner also explained how she’s felt “so f***ing exhausted when working out” while wearing wigs on her head. Admitting to fans how her wigs would get tacky and start pealing off of her head due to moisture and sweat and how she couldn’t focus on the workout as she was more concerned with the way she looked and how her hair was doing. “First of all, I don’t wear my hair out. I don’t wear it natural cause I don’t feel like it. It’s just a f***ing nightmare, dude. I’m over it.” she goes on to say “ What is the use of having hair if you’re not going to wear it out I don’t even sport it.”

After debuting her new buzz cut, with a razor in hand Doja went in to also shave her eyebrows off making the decision to cut it live even revealing that her makeup artist was in a frenzy watching it and was driving over while she did it.  After she finished shaving one side she looked in the mirror and lets out a big oooooohhhhn and a smile.  

It doesn’t look like the singer /rapper regrets one bit of her transformation, admitting to fans that she’s obsessed with her new look.  Sometimes you gotta let it go just to keep your sanity.  Thank you Doja for your honesty and for sharing your very personal transformation with us.

Kehlani who kicked off her Blue Water Road Trip Tour in Virginia was captured clapping her booty during one of her dance routines and the internet can’t stop talking about it. Gave fans a show they’ll never forget. For her set, the singer wore gray leggings, a knitted sweater filled with holes, and a sports bra.  The video footage captured the Atlantic Records recording artist delivering her vocals before turning around and showing the crowd her backside. As the hook for “Distraction” played, on beat, Kehlani made her butt clap to the rhythm and held her microphone behind her. Instantly, the crowd screamed in excitement at her moves.

Twitter instantly went into a frenzy and responded with comments like “Kehlani T=twerking is really giving us life while some is comparing the reaction to her performance to the same reaction as when R&B singers take off their shirts during performances.

On Wednesday, Kehlani went to Twitter to respond to her viral twerks saying she wasn’t going to do it anymore because she didn’t want it to get played out.  She and her team did it to have fun and threw it into the routine to be funny.  The response has been to keep into the routine, she answers jokey with “Yall gonna get tired of her shaking her little flap jack.” Take a look at her response below.

FAMU Opens Investigation After Student Poses Nude on Campus Post Graduation

A Florida A&M student, Terica Williams, 24 set the internet on fire when she celebrated her graduate degree by posing naked in front of the campus’s historical snake stature and the controversial pics went viral.  Williams who recently graduated with her Masters’s degree in Counselor Education viral image can be seen posing nude in front of the famed Rattler Statue located on the campus in a post with the caption  “Anybody who knows me knows that I’ve been dressing provocative my whole life. There’s a lot of assumptions that have came with me accepting my body. A lot of people questioned my capabilities and intelligence solely based on how I choose to dress. As I’m standing here with my Masters Degree at the tender age of 24, I am the living proof that clothes do not define you. I encouraged every body to embrace their bodies and step outside social norms. “ With love, Terica Williams, M.Ed.  

FAMU a Historically Black University in Tallahassee, Florida issued a statement on social media stating “The University is aware of the picture taken and is currently investigating the incident.” 

Many criticized the new grad, suggesting the idea was distasteful and that she set back the HBCU by centuries, while others defended her honor and creativity. 

In an earlier post, Williams revealed her accomplished academic career while at the HBCU, wearing an orange FAMU sweatshirt, bell bottom jeans, and an afro in a caption addressed to FAMU.

Brittney Griner Shares Message To Wife and Takes The Stand Today As Drug Trial In Russia Resumes

Brittney Griner testified today in a Russian courtroom, A key moment in her trial as the American Basketball star faces up to 10 years in prison.  Arriving in a Moscow court today wearing a black ‘Phoenix Basketball hoodie and surrounded by security. The WNB star, center for the Phoenix Mercury, and a two-time Olympic gold medalist was detained in February after Russian Authorities said they found vape canisters with cannabis oil in her luggage. Medicinal and recreational cannabis is legal in many U.S. states but both are prohibited in Russia. 

Griner was cross-examined by the defense today, a key moment in her trial as the American Basketball star faces up to 10 years in prison.  She told defense lawyer Maria Blagovolina how, after she went through passport control and security at the Moscow airport on Feb. 17, a staff member with a dog asked her to open her bags, before finding two cartridges. Another worker “opened the cartridges, smelled them” and then her passport was taken and she was then asked to sign documents that she needed Google translate to understand, Griner said. “There was an interpreter but she didn’t explain what she was signing, and she was never read her rights,” Griner added.

Yesterday Griner 31, arrived in court holding two photographs in a clear, plastic sleeve and spoke briefly to ABC News during a break in Tuesday’s Proceedings she had a message for her wife, Cherelle who recently graduated from law school  “Good Luck on the bar exam,” Griner said.  When asked whether she had any complaints, she said “ No, no complaints. Just waiting patiently .”  When asked who was in the photos, she stated “My wife,  My two best friends, my teammates.”  See the video below:

Each of the products is infused with The Elba’s experiences. “Somali women have been using qasil, [a powder made from the leaves from the gob tree], for centuries,” says Sabrina Elba. “I’ve watched my mom put this green stuff on her face forever. It’s a great natural soap full of antioxidants,” she tells ‘Allure’. Fans Blast Normani For Working With Chris Brown in New Music Video

A cameo in Chris Brown’s newest video “We (We Embrace”)”  has created controversy among the 26-year-old ‘Wild SIde’ singer and her fans on whether she should be working with Chris Brown due to his abusive past.  In the music video which debuted on Tuesday, Normani and Chris show the two in a sensual dance and sharing a passionate underwater kiss while swimming fully clothed in a pool.  Fans were quick to criticize Normani for supporting 33-year-old Brown by agreeing to do the project with him, on Instagram describing working on the video as a “Surreal moment 🥺 thank you @chrisbrownofficial for trusting me. one for the fucking books.”  Although she received hi-praise from fans and her peers including Lala, and her former Fifth Harmony bandmate Dinah Jane.  But the majority of the comments were from fans who were not so supportive and bashed Normani for choosing to collaborate with Breezy.  

Brown’s history continues to haunt him and probably always will. The singer has faced multiple accusations of violence against women. Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, requested a restraining order against the artist in 2017 and his attack against Rihanna in 2009 remains the most graphic accusation brought against the musician who pled guilty to assault and completed his probation in 2015.
