Financial Literacy within Information Overload with ‘My Financial Home Enterprises’

IMG 2700

At times the financial conversation can be quite daunting for some. One must first dissect the root of where that financial anxiety stems from and then proceeds to educate.

A financial management firm helping entrepreneurs and organizations develop solutions that fuel business growth and transform products into accelerating profits can help educate those seeking.

A renowned tax and accounting strategist and strong advocate for financial literacy, Dr. Corzette White founded My Financial Home Enterprises as a resource for financial literacy.

“It starts with our mindset and accountability,” she says. “I help to eliminate a lot of the self-sabotaging and baggage that we carry from our past.”

Dr. White’s journey within the business began over 20 years ago.

She begins by advising businesses to have five accounts and establish good banking relationships. These accounts include income, operational, payroll, tax, and reserve accounts.

As a business order, Dr. White advises that a reserve account is necessary in case of emergencies out of the business owner’s control. One example can be the coronavirus pandemic.

In an age of information overload, Dr. White helps businesses from failing within the first five years of existence.

This includes improper planning, mismanaging of cash flow, and not having an advisor on board for their company.

In the words of Dr. White, “tax season is all year round.”

In Q2, she teaches tax professionals how to scale and grow business and participates in several conferences and speaking engagements.

Dr. Cozette White continues to passionately help small business owners understand the importance of financial literacy.

[WATCH] NFL Player Cam Newton Says A Lot Of Women Don’t Know How To Cook And Be Quiet

cam

NFL star Cam Newton came under fire on social media Monday for comments he made about women.

Newton appeared on the “Million Dollaz Worth of Game” podcast on Sunday. The veteran quarterback was asked about his upbringing toward the beginning of the show, and he started to talk about his family and how he was raised by the “perfect example of what a man was” in his father.

“My parents had been together for 36, 37 years now, and it’s a beautiful thing. I grew up in a three-parent household — my mom, my father and my grandmother. And I knew what a woman was. Not a bad b—-. A woman,” Newton said, adding that to him a “bad b—-” was a person who “looked the part” but didn’t “act the part.”

“And it’s a lot of women who are bad b—-es and I say ‘b—-es’ in a way not to degrade a woman but just to go off the aesthetic of what they deem as a ‘boss chick.’ A woman for me is handling your own but knowing how to cater to a man’s needs. I think a lot of times when you get that aesthetic of like ‘I’m a boss b—-, I’m a this, I’m a that,’ no baby. But you can’t cook. You don’t know when to be quiet. You don’t know how to allow a man to lead.”
What do you think about Cam’s comments?

Letoya Luckett Reveals Destiny’s Child Took A Toll On Her Confidence

letoya 1

Letoya Luckett opened up about how being a member of Destiny’s Child affected her confidence.

During a visit to the “Good Moms, Bad Choices” podcast, the original  member said being in the group took a toll on her confidence. Before entering the group at age 11, she was singing lead in church and in her previous singing group. Once she became a member of Destiny’s Child, she had to compromise and while in midst of that she lost her confidence.

“With a lot of partnerships, we lose ourselves to become one or we feel it’s going to make us cohesive or make the situation work out better,” Luckett said.

While in the group, she said she had to be flexible and “play her role” not knowing how that would change how she felt about herself.

“I didn’t feel like I couldn’t sing lead when I came out of [Destiny’s Child] because for so long I felt like I had sacrificed myself for the greater good,” the 41-year-old added.

Looking back, she reflected about what she would tell her younger self.

“What I would’ve told my younger self is to not lose myself even being a team player in that situation,” she said. “That I still matter. I still have a voice.”

“Still remain confident in who God created you to be and the gift that He gave you,” she continued. “You don’t have to shrink yourself to be good at your role….I learned so much from that situation.”

The Preacher’s Kid star also spoke about her relationship with her former group members, saying that her departure didn’t ruin their lifelong friendship.

“It’s beautiful that after so many years the love is still there. Through everything we’ve been through people can assume that we hate each other and it didn’t work out and blah blah blah but we were friends first.”
