If you were looking for Cardi B’s album this summer, stop looking. Cardi announced her 2024 plans and new music is not part of them.

Interacting with fans online, Cardi revealed she agreed with a fan who stated she should pull back from social media platforms due to feeling “unappreciated” for online interactions.

Then she dropped the reveal: “Anyway NO album this year I don’t care I’m relaxing this year .. Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”

Last month, Missy Elliott encouraged Cardi B to let her album fly. Hitting X, Missy also encouraged Cardi to experiment as Bardi said she was nervous but trusting her ears.

“Yeup!!! I’m a little nervous… but I don’t care! I’m liking doing things that my ears want to listen to and reflecting the moods I been in. It feels good,” she said.

Cardi’s last single, “Enough (Miami),” cracked into the top 10 at No. 9. The record, which fans have been anticipating to hear new music from the Bronx emcee, marked Cardi’s 12th entry into the Top 10. The single scored nearly 15 million streams and 8.8 million radio audience impressions.

‘Dropping Gems’ is part of The Clinic, a year-long partnership between Foot Locker, Nike, and Jordan Brand. Launched earlier this year, The Clinic aims to merge the best of basketball court culture with the community. Last night, three-time Grammy award-winning superstar Megan Thee Stallion ignited the stage at the opening night of her Hot Girl Summer Tour in Minneapolis, MN. The show set an energetic tone for her first-ever headlining tour in arenas worldwide. Accompanied by Grammy-nominated artist GloRilla as a special guest, Megan delivered an unforgettable performance.

Megan kicked off her 90-minute set with the electrifying hit “HISS,” which debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Global 200. The performance continued with a variety of fan favorites, including “Cognac Queen,” “Thot Shit,” and “WAP.”

She also debuted her latest single, “BOA,” live for the first time. GloRilla joined Megan on stage for their collaborative hit “Wanna Be,” and the night culminated with rousing renditions of “Savage” and “Body.”

Fans in the Hotties Club Pit enjoyed an up-close experience with the Houston native during her 29-song setlist. The 35-date Hot Girl Summer Tour has sold nearly 280,000 tickets and sold out 18 arena stops. Due to high demand, additional shows have been announced in Chicago, Atlanta, and Houston.

Fans can enhance their concert experience with various VIP packages, offering premium tickets, access to a VIP bar and cocktail service, a pre-show VIP Lounge, exclusive merchandise, early entry, and more.

The tour will continue to Chicago on May 17 with a sold-out show and proceed across the U.S. through June. Two years ago, Williams was placed under a financial guardianship after concerns arose regarding her son’s extravagant spending, which raised red flags with Wells Fargo Bank. Now, it has been reported that her Manhattan penthouse, once hailed as her dream abode, has been sold off by her guardian.

According to The NY Post, the transaction closed on May 10, marking the latest chapter in Williams’ ongoing legal and personal battles. The sale comes only several years after Williams acquired the Financial District property and follows her diagnosis in 2023 with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.

Records accessed by The Post reveal that Williams, now 59, was deemed “incapacitated,” necessitating the involvement of a guardian in the decision-making process regarding the sale of her residence. The three-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse was sold for $3.75 million, representing a significant decrease of $822,000 from its purchase price in July 2021.

An insider close to Williams expressed regret over the situation, stating, “Wendy’s dream has always been to live in Manhattan in a dream apartment but never got a chance to do so. It is a very unfortunate situation.”

Prior to the sale, Williams divested herself of all personal belongings housed within the property, including her iconic purple chair, synonymous with her provocative “Hot Topics” segment that captivated audiences for years.

In addition to the sale of her penthouse, Williams faced a hefty tax problem, owing more than half a million dollars in unpaid taxes. This resulted in a federal tax lien, affecting her New York City condo, purchased for $4.5 million in 2021.

Set to call the Warriors’ Chase Center home, the Valkyries will fill a void in Northern California left by the departure of the Sacramento Monarchs in 2009, providing fans with a new basketball experience.
