Amber Rose Shares Interesting Theory About Drake Receiving Hate

It goes without saying that it’s been a tough year for Drake. The Toronto rapper went back and forth with Kendrick Lamar in a viral lyrical battle, and according to most, lost. Kendrick’s diss track “Not Like Us,” in which he accuses Drake of being a sexual predator, also went on to be a major hit. Drake took legal action against Universal Music Group (UMG) and Spotify over the song last month, accusing the companies of artificially boosting it. This, of course, earned mixed reactions.

While some think he has a chance of making a real change in the music industry, most just continue to clown him and accuse him of being jealous of Kendrick. There is at least one person on his side these days, however, Amber Rose. During a recent appearance on the Pillow Talk podcast, she explained why she’ll always back him, and shared her theory about why he receives so much hate.

Amber Rose Thinks Drake Receives More Hate Due To His Biracial Identity

“People want to act like Drake is not the voice of our generation,” she began when asked about her support for Drizzy. “Okay, maybe he lost one rap battle and stuff like that, but you can’t take away everything that Drake has done for us as far as memories and parties […] That’s what people do, they build you up to throw you away and I think it’s complete bullsh*t, so I’m going with Drake.” Amber Rose continued, speculating that Drake’s biracial identity could have something to do with all the criticism he receives.

“He’s biracial, that’s what happens,” she claimed. “When a biracial person… Sometimes when they don’t like you, they’ll just be like ‘You’re acting white,’ ‘You’re acting light-skin,’ ‘You’re not like us.’ And it’s just like, I’ve been through that my whole life so I will always have Drake’s back for that reason alone.”

Donald Trump Furiously Posts: “I Hate Taylor Swift!” After Kamala Harris Endorsement

Donald Trump slammed Taylor Swift with an emphatic post on his Truth Social website on Sunday after the pop singer endorsed his opponent, Kamala Harris, last week. Writing in all-caps, he proclaimed: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!” Outside of Swift endorsing Harris, it’s unclear what prompted the post.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” she wrote in the recent announcement. “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them. I think she is a steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s right to her own body for decades.”

Despite the anger in Trump’s post, it’s not the first time he spoke on Swift since the endorsement. Appearing on Fox & Friends after taking on Harris in a debate, he said of the singer: “Well, I actually like Mrs. [Patrick] Mahomes much better. If you want to know the truth. She’s a big Trump fan. I was not a Taylor Swift fan,” he said. Swift has attended many Kansas City Chiefs games alongside Britney Mahomes. On Sunday, she watched as her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, helped the team beat the Cincinnati Bengals.

Dee-1’s Support Of Kendrick Lamar Leads To Barrage Of Backlash From New Orleans Community

This debate between Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne for who deserved Super Bowl honors is starting to get a little too serious. We say that because New Orleans, Louisiana native Dee-1 is getting a lot of hate for his support of the former. As you are all aware by now, the city has been extremely upset with their hometown hero not receiving the honors. Obviously, no one likes seeing Weezy upset as he was in his first public address since the announcement. But some people are taking their anger too far to where they want to ban and warn residents of NOLA like Dee-1 to never come back home.

That’s just some of the backlash the Christian rapper has been receiving, according to HipHopDX. Dee-1 shared a compilation accompanied by a voice-over detailing what he’s been dealing with since showing K-Dot love. “This is why you should never love your city more than you love God. So, Kendrick Lamar shouted me out in his new song and honestly, it’s been life-changing already in the past 24 hours. That’s the elevation. At the same time comes the condemnation”, he begins.

“So now they got people – because they mad at my opinion at who should perform at the Super Bowl – so now they making diss tracks about me. They got people saying I’m canceled from the city. They got people saying I better not come back to the city. People I’m cool with making videos mad at what I’m standing on, when it’s the same thing I been standing on since y’all met me”. However, even though Dee-1 is being bombarded, he’s not going to let that change him. “Thankfully, I’m just gon’ keep being me, keep serving God. That’s what got me here. And Imma just be thankful for every part that comes along with this journey, no matter what it entails”.

What are your thoughts on Dee-1 getting all of this backlash for supporting Kendrick Lamar during the Super Bowl debate? Who was more valid, Dee-1 or the city of New Orleans? Do you think people are blowing this out of proportion overall? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Angel Reese Draws Wrath Of The Barbz For Alleged Nicki Minaj Disrespect

Fanbases in general are unique, obviously. But Nicki Minaj’s, also known as The Barbz, are a different breed. If we had to select one word in order to describe them, it would be toxic. Sadly, it’s part of the reason why the superstar femcee can be seen as controversial. Fans are great for a lot of reasons, but sometimes they can taint the image of the musician. The Barbz do exactly that and quite often as well. If they spot a sliver of what could be disrespect, you best believe they are all over it. Unfortunately, the target in their crosshairs is someone who really does not need nor deserve the extra criticism. That would be WNBA star Angel Reese, who is being accused of hating on Nicki Minaj in a recent TikTok video.

The Chicago Sky forward is seen with some friends of hers, with one of them dancing. Reese joins in before Nicki begins to rap. However, has soon as the Pink Friday 2 creator begins, the athlete dips out of the camera’s frame. Yes, this is apparently a slight to the almighty Queen of New York and The Barbz are letting Reese hear about it.

Angel Reese Has Made Another New Enemy In The Form Of Nicki’s Fans

They are digging up old clips, such as one of her being asked about which musical guest she would like to have on if she were to host an episode of SNL. In that interview she listed all of Nicki’s foes such as Megan Thee Stallion, Latto, Cardi B, and GloRilla. It is worth mentioning that Reese had been onstage with several of these femcees. Latto had even popped out to the basketball player’s pro debut to show her support. It’s most likely playing a role in this Barbz attack and at the end of the day, all we can do is throw our hands up in the air and sigh. Thankfully, though, some Twitter users came to Reese’s defense.

What are your thoughts on Nicki Minaj’s fans claiming that Angel Reese is disrespecting her? Do you think her moving out of frame when she start’s rapping warrants this backlash, why or why not? Does the Trinidadian artist have the pettiest fanbase of any MC? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Angel Reese and Nicki Minaj. Ray Vaughn Of TDE Blasts Mal’s Constant Kendrick Lamar Hate, Podcaster Responds

One of the funniest parts of the whole Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef was seeing the die-hard fans go berserk over their favs, with Mal in particular being a massive OVO defender. Moreover, the overzealousness from Drizzy’s camp and followers have really annoyed a lot of the TDE-affiliated crew and vice versa, which is ironic because of Kendrick fans’ own hyper-obsession. The latest example of this is the Los Angeles label’s signee Ray Vaughn, who recently took to Twitter to call out Mal for his constant overt hate towards K.Dot. The podcaster even responded to Vaughn’s take with a slew of crying-laughing emojis, so it’s clear that this isn’t a legit point of contention.

“That ‘MAL’ dude is obsessed with hating on a DOT & it’s weird asf, [crying emoji]” Ray Vaughn tweeted on Monday (May 27). “only time I see him go viral is hatin.” However, this is comical because, unless he’s referring to earlier in May when the battle was still ongoing, Mal’s most recent comments on Kendrick Lamar weren’t all that controversial. Furthermore, on his podcast with Rory, he criticized Apple Music’s decision to crown good kid, m.A.A.d. city as the seventh-best album of all time. Still, considering just how many legendary albums there are across all of music, it’s not really a spicy take, and one that the former Joe Budden affiliate didn’t deliver with overbearing hate. Just a small dash of it.

Ray Vaughn Blasts Mal’s Kendrick Lamar Hate + Mal’s Response

“F**k it, man. good kid, m.A.A.d city is not number seven of all time,” Mal expressed, which might have set off Kendrick Lamar’s former label mate. “Let’s stop the s**t. Spotify with these fake streams. Stop the s**t, bro. We all f**k with Kendrick but stop the bulls**t. Number seven of all [time]? Yo, he’s five slots behind [Michael Jackson‘s] Thriller. Are you f***ing kidding me? There’s nothing personal, but good kid, m.A.A.d city is at number seven?

Mal Speaks On good kid, m.A.A.d. city‘s Inclusion On Apple Music’s 100 Best Albums Of All Time List

“I’m asking you, f**k this list,” Mal told Rory. “You think that good kid, m.A.A.d city deserves to be number seven and Illmatic is No. 48 or whatever it is?” We’ll see if he has some more Kendrick Lamar hot takes in the future. For now, things could definitely be much worse when it comes to hating on one of the best to ever touch a microphone.

Meek Mill Thinks “Hate Campaign” Against Him Will Work In His Favor

Once Meek Mill moves away from being outspoken to a fault on social media, you will know that hell has frozen over. Moreover, he’s tired of people speaking on his name and dragging him through the mud as of late online, a sentiment that he expressed through a simple tweet on Friday (May 3). “Them hate campaigns gonna make the people love me more when they find out who’s really who in this s**t!” the Philly MC expressed on his account. With this idea, he’s suggesting that this will all work out for him in the long run, as there’s apparently more to expose about his detractors, enemies, and attackers than they’d have you believe.

Furthermore, this is likely a reference to how people have treated or referred to Meek Mill ever since his name came up in the Diddy scandal. These allegations frame him as more of an unfortunate participant and possibly even a victim of serious sex-related crimes, and point to his association. While the Dream Chasers rapper has denied any and all claims, they continue to be a punchline against him from other social media users.

Meek Mill Wants To Turn The “Hate Campaign” Around

However, Meek Mill’s spent a lot of time addressing this so-called “hate campaign” online, so his responses have just added fuel to trolls’ fire. For example, folks clowned him for a recent outfit, which he also responded to and called out unnecessary hate over. Whether or not that’s valid, pretty much anyone’s association with one of the biggest scandals in recent memory in the pop culture world would put a target on their backs. So this “hate campaign” is unsurprising, often unjust, but also exacerbated by continuous responses to it.

As such, a lot of folks would rather have Meek Mill take some time off and focus on himself, something that he definitely did but couldn’t prioritize over the temptation of distraction. Maybe this is a trend cycle that he could’ve avoided if folks weren’t trying to egg him on so heavily. But at the same time, sometimes clowning is inevitable. All we can hope for the “Came From The Bottom” spitter is that he’s finding peace elsewhere.

Meek Mill Theorizes That The Solar Eclipse Is Responsible For The Hate He’s Receiving Online

Meek Mill says that the hate he’s been receiving online might be the result of the recent solar eclipse that took place on April 8. While he couldn’t explain how the two are related, he noted that the backlash he’s been dealing with on the internet began ticking upwards shortly afterward. “The eclipse opened up the portal to everybody that was hating on you to be exposed!” he wrote on Twitter, over the weekend. “Black hatred level went up a few notches in 2024!”

In response, fans brought up the allegations made in Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr.’s lawsuit against Diddy. A claim in the filing about Diddy allegedly having sexual relations with a rapper from Philadelphia prompted the rumors. “Nah bruh they not hating they just sayin u was smashin diddy,” one user replied. Another wrote: “Meek going to extreme levels to cope with the whole Diddy situation lol.”

In more posts the following day, Meek argued that the city of Philadelphia still has his back. He also complained about YouTube’s algorithm allegedly promoting hate against him. He wrote in a pair of tweets: “My city is fully behind me I prolly got a 1000 haters of 1.6 million people! Ima start my next tour Philly gone be in the first dates to display reality logic over internet influence I been doing it for years! They just come up with new bot tactics. If you type my name in on @YouTube  you only seeing spam of some fake stories or rumors they found away to hack people actually typing my name in easily… @youtubemusic can we get the stuff out the way of my music???”

TDE’s Punch Calls Out B.Dot For His “Hater” Take On SZA

It’s no secret that SZA is one of the most successful artists of the past few years, even recently securing multiple Grammy awards for her 2022 LP SOS. According to Brian “B.Dot” Miller, however, she’s not all that she’s cracked up to be. Earlier this week, the personality took to Twitter/X to weigh in on one of Spotify’s new billboards in NYC, which gives the St. Louis-born performer her flowers for her hit track “Snooze.”

“SZA’s ‘Snooze’ is the greatest R&B song of the streaming era,” the billboard reads. B.Dot’s not buying it, chiming in with one simple word. “Propaganda,” he wrote. Of course, the remark sparked a major debate in his own replies. While some users agreed and responded with their own favorite R&B tracks, others were quick to call him out for the apparent shade. Top Dawg Entertainment executive punch even decided to weigh in, making it clear that he disagrees and suggesting that B.Dot’s stance stems from a more personal issue.

B.Dot Calls SZA’s Success “Propaganda”

“You can’t be a hater your whole life champ,” he told the journalist. “You should rebrand. lol.” B.Dot didn’t waste any time clapping back. “Wait… Are you trying to get a rise out of me punch?” he asked, prompting Punch to reply with a series of laughing emojis. It’s fair to say that Punch could be a bit biased when it comes to SZA. After all, he is the songstress’s manager. With that being said, “Snooze” is pretty iconic, and was crowned the No. 1 R&B song of the streaming era by Spotify earlier this month. The platform put Frank Ocean’s “Pink + White” just behind the record-breaking single, praising SZA for her creativity and vocal abilities.

What do you think of Brian “B.Dot” Miller’s take on SZA’s success? Do you agree that it’s all “propaganda”? What about Punch’s reaction? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Tyler The Creator Admits He Used To Hate Childish Gambino

Tyler The Creator was easily one of the standout sets at Coachella’s Weekend One this year, continuing to cement his status as one of the best live performers working today. Not only did he have an amazing stage set-up and theatrics, plus a really well-rounded setlist and consistently quality performances, but he invited a couple of his famous friends to help him out. Charlie Wilson sang as the Hawthorne native played piano, Kali Uchis came out to give a gorgeous rendition of their hit “See You Again,” and A$AP Rocky turned the crowd up with ease. However, the most surprising guest of the night was Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino. He came out to perform T’s IGOR gem “RUNNING OUT OF TIME” alongside him, and they seemed to have an absolute blast together.

The reason why this was so surprising is because they have relatively few link-ups in the past, and the former Odd Future creative explained that he wasn’t always a fan of Mr. Glover. “I used to hate that n***a,” Tyler, The Creator told the crowd after Childish Gambino left the stage. “Seriously. I don’t know why. I gotta go to therapy to figure it out. Then this n***a put this song called ‘Urn’ out. It was so undeniable, n***a. I was at conflict with myself, ’cause I’m like, ‘F**k! How could a n***a that I hate so much be so good?’ And now, the tables have turned and this n***a barely returns my calls.

“Donald, I f**k with you,” Tyler, The Creator continued for Donald Glover. “Thank you for putting out s**t that exceeds expectations or the perception that n***as like us should make. I love you. Thank you for existing and thank you for coming out. Please give him another round of applause.” For those unaware, their relationship has become more public and amicable over the past few years. Their Regular Show rap battle during the Cartoon Network program’s third season, though, premiered in 2011, which is before “Urn” dropped and thus before Tyler’s epiphany.

Tyler Reflects On His Relationship With Donald Glover

Nevertheless, the cover image above is from a 2019 LACMA gala, Glover seemed to mention the “SORRY NOT SORRY” MC during a recent Complex interview, and he also attended the Louis Vuitton designer’s event launching his collection this year. Obviously, a lot of fans are begging for music from them, and with a Gambino rollout commencing, we’ll see whether it manifests. DJ Akademiks Encourages Followers To Write Hateful Messages About Meek Mill To PA Governor

DJ Akademiks and Meek Mill have been constantly going at each other’s throats. Of course, the hate for one another was rekindled after the slew of Diddy lawsuits. Namely, the one where the Philadelphia rapper was a potential sexual partner with Diddy. Everyone has been roasting him for it, and AK has been a big proprietor of it all. Recently, the two have been verbally sparring on X as the MC sent some life-threatening messages at the media pundit.

Meek tweeted out, “Next time ima go live! But if something happen to me we hunting you til death!” This was a response to an Akademiks message where he called out his Philly roots. This recent exchange has led to a movement that AK is looking to get a massive following for. The troller asked his followers to write letters to the Pennsylvania governor to call out Meek Mill for being two-faced.

More information on that should come, so be sure to stick around.
