Harve Pierre Wants Dawn Richard’s Lawsuit Against Him & Diddy Thrown Out

Harve Pierre wants Dawn Richard’s recent lawsuit against himself and Diddy thrown out, according to his lawyer, Scott E. Leemon. In documents caught by AllHipHop, he argued that an amendment to the Victims of Gender-Motivated Violence Act (GMVL) doesn’t apply in this case, among other complaints. In the lawsuit, Richard referenced an incident that allegedly occurred at a Manhattan recording studio in December 2010, in which she alleges Diddy’s bodyguard forcibly detained her inside a car for several hours before Pierre eventually allowed her to be released.

“New York State has a one-year statute of limitations for claims like these,” Leemon said. “Even if the claims were timely, they lack the necessary evidence suggesting that Pierre was involved in any tortious act.” The lawsuit also cites the alleged breaking of an agreement between Richard and Pierre, to which Leemon added: “There is no allegation of any contractual obligation between the parties.”

He also addressed allegations of fraud. “The complaint’s vague and undifferentiated allegations of fraud against all defendants fail to meet the specificity standards required in such cases,” Leemon remarked. “… The complaint fails on several grounds, and we are optimistic that Mr. Pierre will be cleared.”

As for the rest of the lawsuit, Richard also alleges Diddy, “manipulated her with mantras that submission to his depraved demands was necessary for career advancement, instilling in her the belief that such abuse and exploitation were required for female artists to succeed in the music industry.” Diddy has already denied all of the allegations he’s faced over the last year. Diddy & Harve Pierre’s Alleged Gang Rape Victim To Lose Anonymity

Following Cassie’s bombshell lawsuit against Diddy, which contained countless damning allegations, various individuals have come forward to accuse the Bad Boy Records founder of assault. In December, a woman alleged that she was raped by Diddy, Harve Pierre, and another unnamed man. She claims that the incident took place at an NYC studio in 2003 when she was 17 years old.

Since she filed her suit, Diddy and his team have been pushing for the woman to lose anonymity. They argue that the mogul and his codefendants would suffer prejudice if their identities were public while hers remained private. Now, they’ve scored a small victory in the case, as the judge has denied her motion to move forward anonymously.

Judge Sides With Harve Pierre & Diddy In Assault Case

toasts to Sean “Diddy” Combs and the world premiere of Can’t Stop Won’t Stop at the official after party powered by CIROC Vodka and Deleon Vodka at a private residence on June 21, 2017 in Los Angeles, California.

Diddy is currently trying to get the suit tossed out, but if the court decides not to dismiss the case, her identity will be made public. Much like his responses to the several other lawsuits filed against him in recent months, Diddy denies the allegations. “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” he wrote in December. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.”

“Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged,” he added at the time. “I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.” What do you think of a judge ruling that Diddy’s sexual assault accuser cannot remain anonymous? Are you surprised? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates.

Diddy & Harve Pierre Want Jane Doe To Lose Anonymity In Gang Rape Lawsuit: Report

Diddy and Harve Pierre reportedly want the Jane Doe accusing them of gang rape to lose her anonymity. While the defendants already know who she is, they want her identity to be a matter of public record. The alleged victim’s lawyer, Douglas H. Wigdor, argues that the high-profile nature of the case, in conjunction with the fact she was underage at the time of the alleged assault, should give her grounds to keep her identity private.

“On December 9, 2023, counsel for [Diddy and Harve Pierre] indicated that they do not consent to [Jane Doe’s] motion to proceed anonymously,” Wigdor explained, as noted by AllHipHop. “Because of the high-profile nature of the Defendants, compounded with the fact that [Jane Doe] was only seventeen years old at the time of the sexual assault alleged in the Complaint, she should be permitted to proceed under a pseudonym and pursue her claims with anonymity. The media attention of this action would undoubtedly create a chilling effect on future plaintiffs in similar circumstances should Ms. Doe be forced to disclose her identity.”

He added: “[Jane Doe] has experienced significant trauma as a result of Defendants’ sexual assault and rape and would certainly experience significant harm if she is forced to reveal her identity to the public.” The woman is the fourth person to come forward with accusations against Diddy in recent weeks. The lawsuits began with Cassie in November, although she and Diddy settled a day later.

Diddy finally broke his silence on the lawsuits, earlier this month. Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “Enough is enough. For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy.” From there, he labeled the allegations “sickening” and accused the victims of looking for a “quick payday.” He added: “I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth.” Be on the lookout for further updates on the lawsuits against Diddy on HotNewHipHop.

Harve Pierre, Codefendant, Calls Diddy Lawsuits “Disgusting” & “Desperate”

Diddy isn’t the only one facing harrowing accusations in the multiple sexual assault lawsuits filed against him. Moreover, some of these alleged victims also accused other members of his entourage or the Bad Boy crew of similar crimes, including the label’s former president Harve Pierre. For those unaware, one lawsuit claims that he enticed a Detroit minor to board their private jet in 2003 to hang out with him and Sean Combs, and that they flew to New York City for a recording session. There, a Jane Doe alleges, various men sexually assaulted her in the bathroom of the recording studio.

Furthermore, the lawsuit also claims that Pierre did nothing to stop this situation despite its gruesome nature. Rather, Diddy’s associate allegedly smoked crack cocaine out of a Pepsi can while it happened, and thus, he appears in the latest lawsuit as a codefendant for gang sexual assault. Now, according to a statement reportedly obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, Harve Pierre has finally come out and addressed the claims against him and Puff Daddy. Unsurprisingly, it took on a similarly dismissive, staunch, and indignant stance as the label boss’ own public response.

“This is a tale of fiction,” Harve Pierre reportedly stated, according to the media outlet. “I have never participated in, witnessed, nor heard of anything like this, ever. These disgusting allegations are false and a desperate attempt for financial gain. I will vigorously protect my reputation and defend my name. Those who know me recognize that these claims are not true.” Meanwhile, Diddy’s response came from his social media pages. It followed at least a couple of weeks of silence apart from media statements from representatives or legal affiliates.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH,” he wrote on his online accounts, pasting white words on a black screen. “For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. “I Told you they was coming, in 5,4,3,2,1 SMH,” 50 Cent wrote. “This is a movie (SURVIVING P DIDDY) OR (DIDDY, DO IT OR NOT) executive produced by Curtis 50cent Jackson coming soon!”

Harve Pierre, former president of Bad Boy Records, has been sued for grooming and sexually assaulting his assistant. The lawsuit states Pierre’s allegations by his assistant occured “on multiple occasions in New York City and other locations throughout the country” and “used his position of authority as plaintiff’s boss to groom, exploit, and sexually assault her.”

The assistant is now seeking damanges that will “fully and fairly compensate” the assault. Listed in the suit are Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records, and Combs Enterprises.

“We have recently become aware of a lawsuit filed in New York by a former employee,” a spokesperson for Bad Boy Records said to Rolling Stone. “The allegations are from many years ago that were never brought to the attention of the company. Neither the plaintiff nor the executive are current employees of the company. We are now investigating the allegations, and our top priority is the safety and well-being of our employees.”

The development comes less than a week after Diddy settled a lawsuit with Cassie over accusations that included domestic violence and rape. According to TMZ, the suit was ended in New York on Monday. The doc reads, “Pursuant to an agreement between the parties, Plaintiff hereby dismisses this action, with prejudice and without costs or fees to either party.”

Shortly after news of the lawsuit rattled the world on Thursday, Diddy and Cassie settled the lawsuit on Friday.

“I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,” Cassie said after the settlement. “I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.”

For the first time since settling his lawsuit with his ex-lover, singer Cassie, Diddy has been spotted. He was spotted outside his Star Island Miami mansion, beside his chief of staff, with his face buried in his hands.

After settling with Cassie following her explosive allegations. Ben Brafman, Diddy’s lawyer, shared a statement:

“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs‘ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”

Diddy was sued by his former lover Cassie, stating she was rapped and sex trafficked during their relationship. Cassie, born Casandra Ventura, filed the suit in New York City, stating she was the victim of a “cycle of abuse, violence and sex trafficking.

Ex-Bad Boy executive Harve Pierre is currently facing a sexual assault lawsuit from a former assistant at the label owned by Diddy. The alleged victim filed the complaint in New York County Supreme Court on Tuesday.

Former Bad Boy President Harve Pierre Is Accused Of Sexual Assault And Grooming In A New Lawsuit

Harve Pierre, the former president of Bad Boy Entertainment, is facing a lawsuit accusing him of grooming and sexually assaulting his assistant, Rolling Stone reports.

The complaint was filed in New York County Supreme Court and it reads in part, “Pierre used his position of authority as plaintiff’s boss to groom, exploit, and sexually assault her. Pierre engaged in a year-long pattern of grooming plaintiff, leading to sexual harassment of plaintiff, and sexual assault.”

The plaintiff, who remains anonymous, alleges Pierre sexually assaulted her multiple times in 2016 and 2017, which caused physical, emotional, and psychological injuries, as well as pain and suffering. She is seeking damages that will “fully and fairly compensate” her.

The suit also lists Bad Boy Entertainment, Bad Boy Records, and Combs Enterprises as co-defendants, saying, “Defendants knew or should have known that Pierre was unfit to be in a position of authority before Pierre sexually assaulted plaintiff.” The suit claims the companies did not “properly supervise” Pierre.

A Bad Boy spokesperson told Rolling Stone, “We have recently become aware of a lawsuit filed in New York by a former employee. The allegations are from many years ago that were never brought to the attention of the company. Neither the plaintiff nor the executive are current employees of the company. We are now investigating the allegations, and our top priority is the safety and well-being of our employees.”

This comes just days after Bad Boy founder Diddy settled a rape and physical abuse lawsuit filed against him by Cassie.
