Rapper and former YouTube star, DDG, and actress and singer, Halle Bailey, continue to show their true love for another anytime they can. As far as we know the couple has been official since the end of March 2022 and like most relationships, especially in the celebrity world, they can have their tough moments. For example, there was a lot of speculation that DDG was cheating on Halle with his ex-girlfriend and rapper, Rubi Rose. The artist decided to release a song about Rubi, “Way Too Petty,” after Rubi was sharing communications with him.

That is just one example of the couple facing the heat from outsiders but, Halle put it best in a statement she made about social media and how it can tear apart what you have. She goes, “The biggest thing I’ve learned in dating when it comes to dating in the public eye, is that everybody’s gonna have an opinion about you, whether it’s good or bad. I think because I’ve grown up, kind of in the public eye, people think they have this sort of… I don’t know, that they can say what they feel about my life. Like they do with everyone in the public eye,” Halle elaborates. “But I’ve realized, for me, I just go with my heart.” That is extremely wise of the Little Mermaid star to share for anyone going through a rough patch in their love life.

Chloe x Halle Seemingly Respond To Funky Dineva’s Hurtful Comments

Chloe x Halle have been in the news quite a bit as of late. Overall, much of this has to do with the fact that there were rumors swirling about whether or not Halle Bailey was pregnant. Fans saw her in a DDG video that suggested this was the case. However, Chloe came back with some harsh words for the internet, in defense of her sister. These comments eventually went viral, and fans have been showing appreciation for the duo. Clearly, they have each other’s backs, no matter what.

Despite this, some people just want to be mean, no matter what. For instance, on the Fox Soul segment, “Tea-G-I-F,” Claudia Jordan and Funky Dineva discussed the Halle Bailey pregnancy rumors. Funky Dineva was particularly disrespectful, as the gossip blogger roasted Chloe for her appearance. Moreover, he also had some choice words about her persona. “Chloe Bailey is so godd*mn lame to me,” Funky Dineva said. “First of all, girl, you are Miss Preppy Ashley from the suburbs. Then you came out being all promiscuous, and now you’re trying to be a gangster. None of it is f*ckiung believable. And I’m probably gonna catch a lot of backlash for this, and without that makeup, she ain’t cute. She never should’ve shown up on that camera with that fat-ass face without no makeup.”

Last night, Chloe x Halle seemingly responded to the shady comments. Over the past few days, there have been rumors (unsubstantiated ones, to be clear) floating around that The Little Mermaid star and musician extraordinaire Halle Bailey is pregnant. She hasn’t offered any clarification herself yet, but it looks like her sister Chloe Bailey has shared a reaction.

During a recent Instagram Live session, Chloe said, “Y’all better keep my sister’s name out your mouth, thank you. Amen, hallelujah. ‘Bout to get me riled the hell up.” Somebody off camera said, “We don’t play about Halle.” Chloe added, “No. Like, what the heck? Period.”

Meanwhile, the two talked about making new music together in an interview with Elle that was published today. Halle said, “You can always expect new music from my sister and I,” and Chloe added, “I’ve been really inspired by that and just life: going out and experiencing people celebrating and having fun and just seeing what gets different types of people going. I can’t wait for my sister and I to put that within our own music, in our solo music and group music. It’s gonna be fun now knowing who we are individually more, and what we can bring when we come back together as a group — that’s gonna be really exciting.”

Chloe and Halle Bailey have long been proud vegans and vocal about their journey away from eating meat. The pair went 10 years without eating any red meat until recently when a hotel accidentally served them the wrong burgers. In a new video clipped from an Instagram live, Chloe explains the situation through teary eyes. Some sympathetic fans in the comments elaborated on how it feels to break a long vegan or vegetarian streak. “I’m vegetarian and it’s definitely hard to tell the difference sometimes but you know the taste of real meat and that stomach ache ain’t no joke,” reads one of the top comments on the post.

In the background of the clip while Chloe tells the story, Halle can be heard occasionally laughing. DDG Shares His Support For Halle Bailey’s New Song ‘Angel’: ‘I Listen To It A Lot’

Halle Bailey recently shared “Angel,” her debut solo single, which follows her starring role in the highly successful movie The Little Mermaid. Bailey’s boyfriend DDG also just unveiled his new album Maybe It’s Me. The pair make for a busy couple, and DDG made it clear in a red carpet interview at Billboard’s 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event that the two enthusiastically support each other.

When the reporter asked him if he has streamed Bailey’s new song, DDG gushed, “I gave ‘Angel’ a million streams before it came out. I listen to it a lot; I’m a big supporter of her, obviously, of course.”

“It’s a woman’s time right now,” he said after the reporter mentioned the drama with Keke Palmer’s boyfriend. “I feel like women are more powerful than ever. As a man that’s a part of a woman of that stature, you just gotta be a supporter.”

DDG also discussed what his intentions were with making Maybe It’s Me. “I just wanted to get all the opinions and stuff that people had about me out of the way, play that villain role for a little bit,” the rapper said, “but now I’m back to making good, relatable music.”

Halle Flies Like An ‘Angel’ On Her Empowering Solo Debut Single

Following a critically-acclaimed performance as Ariel in Disney’s live-action version of The Little Mermaid, Halle Bailey is finally putting out music of her own. For over a decade, Halle Bailey — who is simply going by Halle for her solo era — has been putting out music with her sister, Chlöe as the superstar duo, Chloe X Halle. Now, with her solo single, “Angel,” she is entering the landscape with her solo commercial debut.

On “Angel,” Halle reflects on growing up in the spotlight, and the painful words she received on the way. Over a piano-and-string-driven ballad, she rises above the heartache, and encourages others to follow.

“Heaven knows your wings can weigh you down / but angels make a way somehow,” Halle sings on the song’s chorus.

“Angel” is accompanied by an empowering visual directed by Wendy Morgan, which further cements Halle’s mission to uplift girls and young women like herself.
