Rod Wave’s Dad Goes Off On Moneybagg Yo: “You Want To Shoot Me?”

Rod Wave’s father recently took to social media to make some serious allegations against Moneybagg Yo. According to Rodney “Fatz” Green, the rapper allegedly threatened to shoot him for simply asking to borrow a lighter. Green went in on Moneybagg Yo for the incident, calling him and his crew “A bunch of b*tches.” It’s unclear why the lighter request escalated to this level, but it’s obvious that Green is fed up.

“Moneybagg, you should’ve been told my son you apologized for being disrespectful to his daddy,” he says in the clip. “The f*ck wrong with you? Like you wanted to shoot me.” Green continued, “You all up in your car with your hand on your gun like you want to shoot me for asking for a lighter?”

The rant went on, “You get in your car when you see I ain’t running. Your fat goons hop out the car like I’d f*ck all them n***as up, man. All you n***as wanna run to your guns. A bunch of b*tches. Line this sh*t up one-on-one. F*ck gunplay — anybody can do that sh*t.” He continues, “I ask this n***a for a lighter and he look at me and ask me, ‘What the f*ck you just ask me, n***a? You ask me for what?’ These supposed to be street n***as and a regular n***a can’t ask you… And you blow the whole spot up like you want to fight.”

Green later went on to call out Moneybagg Yo for his behavior during his 2018 collab with Rod Wave, “Feel the Same Way.” Apparently, Rod Wave paid $30K for Moneybagg Yo’s verse. “You ain’t do no favors,” he tells the rapper, “it wasn’t like you was just f*ckin’ with my boy.” “Every track he touch, every song he puts you n***as on,” Green says of his son, “it hit a million every time.

Boosie Badazz Reportedly Threatened Bodyguards For Not Claiming His Guns

While he’s already out of jail on bond, Boosie Badazz’s gun case shook things up for him for a while, and could still face heavy consequences. Moreover, new allegations surfaced concerning his May 7 arrest this year that have to do with his attitude towards his bodyguards. For those unaware, authorities apparently spotted the Baton Rouge rapper with a gun on his waist on social media and tracked him down. Eventually, they found him in the Chollas View neighborhood in San Diego, California and discovered two guns in his SUV in a traffic stop. Now, prosecutors are making these claims concerning what role his security played- or rather, didn’t- in all of this.

Furthermore, lawyers once again brought forth accusations on Thursday (June 22) that Boosie threatened his bodyguards, ABC 10 News reports. Moreover, the threats reportedly stemmed from security not assuming ownership of the uncovered firearms in the vehicle they rode in. “You’re gonna to be in a body bag,” the 40-year-old allegedly told his guards. Michael Wheat, Assistant U.S. Attorney, expressed to the judge in the case that this raised concerns for the safety of these individuals.

Boosie’s Alleged Threats Brought Forth By Prosecutors

However, the former Trill Entertainment artist’s defense team pointed out some inconsistencies with these allegations stacked up against official police reports. For example, his lawyer Meghan Blanco said that the threat prosecutors claim occurred is nowhere to be found in reports from the officers involved in the arrest. In fact, she maintained that these accusations only surfaced after authorities arrested Boosie on federal charges over a month later. As such, it’s unclear how much these accusations will impact the case, or how deeply the court will go in its investigation.

Meanwhile, the rapper recently blasted the prosecution for their “racist” appeal of his bond. “After the judge has granted me a bond, and I paid my full cash amount the prosecution refuse to respect the judges decision to let me go,” he tweeted. “They showed no evidence of me being a flight risk or a danger to the community. This is total misconduct from a prosecutor. He is racist and has evil intentions. Now they filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in prison. Even my attorneys have never seen nothing like this in their career.” Regardless, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and updates on Boosie Badazz.

Cam’ron Defends Ja Morant, Tells Strippers: “Y’all B*tches Buggin’”

Cam’ron recently appeared on the It Is What It Is podcast, where he shared his thoughts on strippers from the club Ja Morant flashed a gun at wanting an apology. They further discussed the incident, which saw the athlete brandishing the gun on Instagram Live. Cam’ron stated that people bring guns to strip clubs all the time, claiming that if Lil Durk brought a gun to their club they would have been fine with it. He suggests that the dancers are just hopping on the bandwagon after Morant’s recent controversy.

The conversation took place after one of the exotic dancers claimed they never received an apology. “I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” she told the New York Post, “He’s a boy.” Another employee of the club also spoke on the incident. “He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller,” she claims. “He should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.” The club’s owner Deborah Dunafon, however, called Morant “exceptionally respectful, and sweet,” shortly after the incident took place.

Following the incident, Morant shared an apology. “I know I’ve disappointed a lot of people who have supported me,” his statement begins. “This is a journey and I recognize there is more work to do. My words may not mean much right now, but I take full accountability for my actions. I’m committed to continuing to work on myself.” Morant was later accused of using AI to generate the apology.

Ja Morant was recently suspended from the Memphis Grizzlies following the Instagram Live incident. A wellness check was also conducted on Morant earlier this month, following him sharing several cryptic messages to social media. Fans were concerned about the posts, which included the athlete telling various family members he loves them, and concluded with him saying “bye.” Police later confirmed that Morant was okay after visiting his home where he claimed to be simply “taking a break from social media.”

Strippers Say Ja Morant Never Apologized For Gun Incident

Ja Morant has been in the news a lot as of late. On May 14, Memphis Grizzlies superstar Ja Morant was indefinitely suspended by the team pending an NBA investigation. It came as a result of, for the second time in 2023, Morant appearing on Instagram Live with a gun. The video, which went viral on social on May 13, appeared to occur while Morant was cruising with longtime friend Davonte Pack. While Morant has apologized, the NBA is yet to announce a punishment for him. A lot of people have spoken out about the incident. They range from defenders such as BlocBoy JB to moderates such as JJ Redick. However, they are also a wide range of detractors, such as Stephen Jackson and Charles Barkley.

However, as mentioned, this was not the first time Morant had gotten in trouble for flashing a gun in public. In March, Morant was suspended for eight games after flashing a gun on Instagram Live while at a strip club in Denver. However, the strippers at the club, have now revealed some shocking details.

Speaking with The New York Post, a number of employees at Shotgun Willie’s where Morant’s first gun-flashing incident claimed that Morant never apologized. Furthermore, they aren’t holding their breath for that to change. “I don’t foresee an apology [anytime] soon,” one of the dancers told the Post, “He’s a boy.”

Additionally, a number of the employees shared their opinions on Morant’s second suspension. “He’s clearly begging for attention and trying to be a baller — he should be banned from all clubs and get his NBA career taken away given our country’s current circumstances on gun violence.” However, not everyone criticized Morant. After the incident initially happened, the club’s owner Deborah Dunafon called Morant “exceptionally respectful, and sweet.” What do you think Morant’s punishment from the NBA will be? Trapboy Freddy Faces 10 Years After Pleading Guilty To Federal Gun Charge

Trapboy Freddy’’s staring down a potential 10-year sentence after copping a guilty plea in his weapons case. According to Fox4News, the rapper pleaded guilty to a gun charge on May 11th, although a judge hasn’t determined the sentencing yet. However, according to the deal, Freddy could be sentenced to less than 10 years in prison, supervised release and a fine of $250,000. Through the deal, Freddy avoids further gun-related charges but he must hand over a Taurus TCP .380-caliber gun.

Freddy’s recent issues with the law stem from an arrest in August 2022, which captured national headlines. U.S. Marshals claimed that they entered Freddy’s home only to encounter a caged tiger cub. However, these rumors quickly spread across social media that the tiger escaped from the Dallas Zoo. Ultimately, both police and officials from the zoo clarified the rumors. “Dallas Animal Services responded to the address and secured the tiger, which is currently being held in protective custody at an undisclosed location,” police said in a statement.

Trapboy Freddy Pleads Guilty

Ahead of his arrest, the rapper had taken photos alongside the baby tiger. He shared images of himself with the cub on a leash. However, there weren’t any confirmations from law enforcement officials or Freddy himself whether it was the same cub that was taken by Animal Services. Police took Trapboy Freddy into custody and charged him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The rapper was previously involved in cases related to assault, organized criminal activity, probation violation, and unlawful carry of a firearm.

The sentencing will undoubtedly put Freddy’s career on hold for a bit. The rapper released his last project, No Distractions in 2022. The Dallas native’s latest project included appearances from Lil Keed, Yella Beezy, and Fetty Wap. However, he continued to release new music this year with “Back End (Freestyle)” and “Webbie G Shit Freestyle.” With a potential 10-year sentence on the line, we hope that he’ll still be able to release new music. We’ll keep you posted on any further updates surrounding Trapboy Freddy’s sentence. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.

BlocBoy JB Defends Ja Morant

While a lot of people are commenting on Ja Morant’s most recent suspension after anything gun-flashing incident, few people are absolving him of any blame. However, BlocBoy JB broke that tendency and took to his Instagram Story to defend the Grizzlies player. According to the Memphis rapper, Morant should be free to enjoy his time away from the court however he pleases. In addition, he also brought up that guns themselves are not illegal and therefore shouldn’t be scrutinized as much as they have been in these cases. Whether you agree with JB or not, it’s becoming more clear by the day that he stands almost alone in his assessment.

“Guns are not illegal,” BlocBoy penned on the social media platform. “If he turnt in his car with his gun dats in his name in his yard and somebody recorded him dat ain’t on him. Free Ja.” Others in the NBA world and beyond, like Juan Toscano-Anderson, also pinned at least partial blame on Ja Morant’s inner circle. Of course, the “MURSIC” MC is far from the only figure in hip-hop to comment on this case.

“That man is trying hard to go play [in] Turkey or China or Serbia-Montenegro,” Fat Joe chimed in. “He’s trying hard to get kicked out the NBA. And those guys that’s with you? They not your peoples, Ja. They don’t care. This is a problem we have with our community becoming famous because the people around you, they like the girls that’s watching, they love the lifestyle- but they’re not you. They didn’t dribble the basketball in the snow on Christmas trying to figure out the Kobe moves or the Jordan moves. They didn’t put in the work like you.”

While Snoop Dogg shared a lot of memes on the matter, others in the game took the issue more seriously on initial impact. Meanwhile, GloRilla recently responded to a meme of an old picture of her holding a gun that a user compared Ja Morant to. No matter how many more funny pictures or scolding takes emerge from this, his future remains unclear. Regardless, stay posted on HNHH for the latest news and updates on BlocBoy JB and Ja Morant.

GloRilla Reacts To Old Picture Of Her Holding A Gun Amid Ja Morant Suspension

Everyone and their mom is talking about Ja Morant flashing a gun on Instagram Live for the second time, resulting in another suspension from the Memphis Grizzlies. However, they probably didn’t expect fans to connect the dots to another Memphis figure (to be clear, Morant is from South Carolina). Moreover, a Twitter user posted a meme whose caption read “ja morant every month:,” attached to a picture of a familiar (albeit younger than how we know her now) face holding a gun. It was none other than GloRilla, who reacted to the wild snap on the social media platform.

“I was a menace in high school I’m so embarassed y’all,” she quote-tweeted the post along with some laughing emojis. Still, the “Blessed” MC didn’t specifically comment on Ja Morant’s situation, instead remarking a distant time in her life. What’s more is that fans were probably quite surprised to see a pic of little GloRilla in this context. If you’re looking for reactions to the Grizzlies guard’s situation, there’s plenty to go through. A couple of figures in the hip-hop game like Snoop Dogg and Fat Joe gave their thoughts on the incident and suspension.

GloRilla Responds To A Younger Her “Emulating” Ja Morant In Funny Tweet

In addition, this is quite the curious link considering that they’re probably among the more widely well-known Memphis representatives at the moment. Sure, GloRilla specifically reps her home city, but Ja Morant proved to be a star for the team despite his extracurricular troubles. He tried incredibly hard to get his team past the first playoff round and, despite their loss, had a great regular season this year. We know he’s a fan of YoungBoy, but surely there’s some Glo in his playlists as well. Maybe that’s too presumptuous.

Still, we know that a lot of people are bumping the 23-year-old rhymer. She got a lot of praise since her blow-up, but recently received so from a legend. Method Man shouted her out as someone who’s constantly playing in his household. Only time will tell if this tweet is where her comparisons to Ja Morant begin and end, and whether his future in the league is in more jeopardy than ever before. On that note, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on GloRilla and Ja Morant.

Ja Morant Suspended After Second Gun-Flashing Incident

About two months ago, the Memphis Grizzlies suspended Ja Morant after he flashed a gun on social media. The incident caused a lot of discussion in the NBA world, prompting an apology from the star guard and much debate on his actions. However, it seems that this rabbit hole is open once again after he flashed a gun for the second time on Instagram Live. As soon as news broke on this development, many wondered whether we’d see the same situation play out. Now we have confirmation that the Memphis Grizzlies have indeed suspended the South Carolina native.

“We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant,” the basketball team expressed in a statement issued Sunday (May 14). “He is suspended from all team activities pending League review. We have no further comment at this time.” Unfortunately, this follows a streak of bad luck for the 23-year-old. Recently, reports indicated that not being on an All-NBA team cost him a $39 million bonus. Many debated whether it’s fair to dangle money in a player’s face like that, especially after he played a great season.

Ja Morant Suspended After Another Gun-Toting Clip

Of course, the Memphis Grizzlies’ post-season efforts saw an early end thanks to the Los Angeles Lakers. What’s more is that Ja Morant was out on injury for the playoff series’ second game. As much as he tried his best, the team’s run ended with a 4-2 loss in what was a volatile, exciting, and tense set of games. Given Morant’s talent and determination on the court, news of his extracurriculars and suspension is frankly a devastating loss. Since this is by no means a new occurrence, perhaps the conditions around his return to the Tennessee organization will be much more strict this time around.

Regardless, only time will tell what becomes of his future in not just the team, but the NBA asa whole. Considering his other legal issues, it isn’t looking pretty for him from any angle. Hopefully all parties involved keep learning from this situation, especially when it comes to others’ safety. On that note, for the latest news and updates on Ja Morant, keep checking in with HNHH.
