GloRilla Celebrated Reaching A Celibacy Challenge Milestone Despite Interference From ‘Da Devil’ And Vision Issues

“FNF” rapper GloRilla reached a milestone in her 90-day celibacy resolution, but apparently, it wasn’t easy. The Memphis rapper previously joked that she was losing her vision just a 10th of the way into the challenge, asking her Twitter followers to “send help” and even claiming to have experienced something like synesthesia: “I be having to take my sunglasses off just to hear,” she jested.

Her latest update sounds like things haven’t gotten any easier. “Listen , I reached day 30 of my celibacy & yall on here posting all dese positions is nun but da devil,” she lamented. “Get Dee behind me satan !!!” While it’s not quite clear what “positions” she’s referring to, it’s not hard to imagine that some NSFW posts going around on Twitter since the Tesla guy hasn’t exactly cracked down on explicit content (and wouldn’t have the resources to do so if he tried after some spectacularly bad business decisions).

Fortunately for Glo, she’s got plenty to keep herself busy — including, hopefully, working on her debut album for CMG. Last August, she told Good Morning America she was working on the project but that her main goal was to “make another song that’s gonna have all the girls screaming — and another anthem.”

42 Dugg Invites Lil Baby, GloRilla, Jeezy & More To Homecoming Concert: Watch

42 Dugg is finally back home in Detroit after a year-long prison stint, and the last few months saw him reconnect with his family, loved ones, the game, and his overall career. Moreover, on Friday night (January 19), he held his homecoming concert the D’s Little Caesars Arena, and brought out a lot of special guests to join him onstage. These include Meek Mill, Lil Baby, Yo Gotti, GloRilla, Lil Durk, the one and only Jeezy, and reportedly many more. Overall, it seemed like an electric performance that 42 thoroughly enjoyed, and an experience that he surely missed for a long time.

Furthermore, it’s been very fulfilling to see him spend time with his peers in the rap game and once again form part of the current conversation. For example, 42 Dugg recently dropped the J. Cole-endorsed single “SpinDatBac,” which was apparently the result of a studio session that the two had in which the Dreamville boss expressed particular praise for this cut. As such, it would be amazing to see what other genre and stylistic crossovers he could engage in over the next few months, or years even. After all, the Michigan native is still a leader of his scene despite his brief departure, and his flow and delivery is too unique to leave to the wayside.

However, not everything has been perfect when it comes to his renewed relationship with other rappers, reports indicate. Wack 100 recently made claims about an altercation between 42 Dugg and Offset that prompted some bad blood between the two. Not only that, but the music executive also alleged that this caused ‘Set’s bonds with Lil Baby to sour as well. Whether or not there’s any truth to this speculation of feuds between these spitters, it seems like this alleged confrontation doesn’t have much truth behind in.

More Guest Performances

In fact, Dugg himself recently denied that Offset robbed him at all, although he did acknowledge that something went down. Still, it’s unclear if it’s between the two rappers or if he got tested by someone else. Either way, it’s but a small footnote in this comeback tale that events like this homecoming concert supersede. For more news and the latest updates on 42 Dugg, keep checking in with HNHH.

GloRilla Jokes That Her 90-Day Celibacy Resolution Is Having A Negative (But Predictable) Effect On Her Vision

We’re now ten days into January 2024, which means many of us have already quit on our new year’s resolutions. Others still seem to be holding strong, but maybe that resilience ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.

It seems that more than one rap star decided to take a vow of abstinence — at least, temporarily. And while 50 Cent says his resolution to do so is helping him avoid distractions, GloRilla is apparently starting to regret hers.

“Started my 90 day celibacy lil shit for new year’s or wtv, I’m on da 9th day & my vision blurry af,” she joked on Twitter. “Send help😭” When fellow raunchy Southern rapper Sexyy Red expressed empathy, she doubled down, cracking, “Bitch I been lost it I be having to take my sunglasses off just to hear.”

For those who never heard of this, it appears Glo is referencing the old wives’ superstition that too much …. ahem… “self-love” can make one go blind — which, hey, it could be worse. They also warned us that we’d grow hair on our palms.

If that really is what she meant, that’s a pretty clever way of saying that she’s burning through her battery supply, but maybe it was also a little too clever; it seems the joke has flown over a lot of fans’ heads.

Prayers up for Big Glo, and here’s hoping her batteries hold out and long as she does.

GloRilla’s Celibacy Update Has People Growing Tired Of Her Comments About Relationships

GloRilla is one of the more outspoken figures in this new wave of rap talent. The gritty Memphis, Tennessee femcee is one of the top-flight names from there. Her audience has continuously grown with her ability to make pure trap bangers and provide fun features. She was nominated for several awards last year for her singles and project Anyways, Life’s Great… Even with all of that success, GloRilla is starting to gain more and more haters. Some of it is due to some lackluster tracks such as “Cha Cha Cha.” It is also credited to the fact that she dishes out questionable opinions about relationships.

During the latter half of 2023, she went semi-viral for her comments about being toxic in your 20s. Some laughed it off, but others tore into the 27-year-old. Additionally, she encouraged her lady supports to never show favoritism to one man. “Ladies, don’t show favoritism among your n****s. Because as soon as your favorite n**** mad, he gon be cursing your other n****s out just for a motherf****r saying good morning!”

Now, Glo is back it again. On Twitter she had a little back-and-forth with Sexyy Red about her celibacy journey. It is a New Year’s resolution of hers to go without sex for 90 days. She claims that the itch has gotten so bad in the first nine days. So much so, that she is losing her sight. “Started my 90-day celibacy lil s*** for new year’s or wtv, I’m on da 9th day & my vision blurry af !!!!! Send help.” People have had just about enough of this, though. One goes, “It’s kinda crazy how far gone society is.” Another writes, “That’s not celibate then sis.” Maybe this will change Glo’s views on dating?

What are your initial thoughts on these latest comments from GloRilla about her celibacy journey? Do you think she gives good advice about relationships and dating? GloRilla Reveals She Used to Steal CDs From Wal-Mart to Hear Rap Due to Christian Household

GQ Hype 12 13 23 Glorilla Dropbox

GloRilla is pulling the curtain back on her upbringing, detailing being “socially sheltered” by way of a conservative Christian household to GQ.

“We really couldn’t listen to the radio,” GloRilla said. “Never got a Christmas present from my mama a day in my life. We didn’t do Valentine’s Day. We didn’t do Easter. We didn’t do Halloween. Really only did the Fourth of July, and Thanksgiving. My mama was strict—but apparently I still ended up doing what I wanted to do.”

GloRilla also revealed that she would get music by stealing CDs from Wal-Mart. “We’d steal the CDs and download all the songs onto the PlayStation. That was the only way we could listen to other music. We probably wouldn’t have known nothing other than gospel music if it wasn’t for us being bad.”

Nicki Minaj & Cardi B Didn’t Make The Cut For GloRilla’s “F.N.F.” Remix, Producer Says

GloRilla’s “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” was one of 2022’s biggest hits, and she’s continued that hot streak of singles and bangers. As such, it’s unsurprising to hear that a lot of people wanted to hop on the remix, whether it’s up-and-comers or established MCs. However, based on a series of tweets from the song’s producer Hitkidd on Sunday (December 3), it seems like they actually turned down some massive names for it. Moreover, he named Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Megan Thee Stallion as some names who didn’t make the cut. Eventually, Latto and JT of the City Girls graced it with finesse, but we can’t help but think about what could’ve been.

“Nicki Minaj called me to get on the FNF remix,” Hitkidd recalled concerning GloRilla’s breakout hit. “But I still went who I already had on it because I gave them my word. No cap, Cardi wanted to get on the FNF remix and I hit Meg up to get on there with her. I was tryna change the game and put the hottest women artists on one song!

Hitkidd Reveals The Possibilities Behind The “F.N.F.” Remix

“I fw Nicki’s artistry but I made a moral decision,” GloRilla’s collaborator continued. “Like I said I was trying to get everybody one song and change the game. I’ll have to get [the other remix] cleared , we have the video with Saweetie though. She showed us a lot of love which is why I still want to drop it. Hopefully we can drop it for the fans!” Furthermore, it seems like Hitkidd suggested that they’re still not done with “F.N.F.,” at least for the sake of hardcore fans. Could we get another wave of hype with it in 2024?

GloRilla’s Producer Continues To Dish Out Tea

Regardless of that outcome, Big Glo is also making sure to stay tapped into the new players that emerged since this song’s rise to dominance. For example, she and Sexyy Red recently performed together, and hopefully that’s not the last we get of the duo. Do you think that all these femcees will eventually hop on a track together? Did GloRilla Get Breast Implants?

Latto, SZA, and several other musicians have shared how beauty standards have affected their self-esteem. This pressure eventually led them to undergo different cosmetic procedures. However, others, like Cardi B, maintain that any time she’s undergone plastic surgery, it was as a special treat. Another musician is saying something similar.

During an Instagram livestream on December 1, GloRilla revealed that she, too, made a slight modification to her frame. This led fans to ask, did GloRilla get breast implants? Based on what she shared in the broadcast, it seems like yes.

“I just bought some new titties,” GloRilla said. “Y’all like my new titties? I’m on my bullsh*t, I just bought some new titties. I ain’t with that overboard sh*t. These are just a little fill-in. Just filled them in. I just got them done so my man can grip on.”

GloRilla confessed to having had breast enhancement surgery, but the nature of the procedure was not revealed. To be fair, given the advancement in plastic surgery, GloRilla could’ve gotten some sort of filler to pump up her breast rather than a saline or silicone implant.
