Several reports have confirmed that there is yet another scandal involving gambling in baseball; this time it is San Diego Padres infielder Tucupita Marcano, who is accused of betting on his former team’s games, which violates Major League Baseball’s gambling policy.

Marcano, who made his major league debut in 2021, is currently under investigation for reportedly gambling on Pittsburgh Pirates games back in 2023 when he was on the team’s IL. The 24-year-old is currently on the Padres roster, but has not played a game rfor San Diego in 2024 due to a torn ACL.

MLB and the MLB Players Association have yet to comment on the allegations, but both sides are ironing out details about the potential punishment, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Marcano can be banned from baseball for life for his violation and The Wall Street Journal has reported that at least four other major league baseball players could be penalized for betting on MLB games while they were in the minor leagues.

All of this comes at the tail end of the investigation of Ippei Mizuhara, the interpreter who admitted to stealing millions from L.A. Dodgers’ star Shohei Ohtani, in order to pay off his illegal gambling debts.

Drake Lost More Than $500,000 On Tyson Fury’s Loss To Oleksandr Usyk

The biggest heavyweight fight in a very long time took place on Saturday in Saudi Arabia, as undefeated four-belt holder Oleksandr Usyk faced undefeated lineal champ Tyson Fury with the undisputed heavyweight crown on the line.

The fight lived up to the billing, with the two champs impressing at different stages of the fight. Fury, the favorite coming in, looked like he was taking control in the middle rounds until a stunning flurry from Usyk in the ninth round flipped the bout on its head. Usyk rocked Fury with a left that he didn’t see coming, and then chased Fury around the ring, battering him with punches and bouncing him off the ropes before the referee stepped in for an 8-count. Fury would finish the fight, but that 10-8 round was the difference in a Usyk split decision win and a split draw on the cards, giving the slight underdog the win and all five belts.

That ninth round effort will live in the minds of many for some time, with Drake being among them for the wrong reasons. Prior to the fight, Drake posted to Instagram that he had a $565,000 bet on Fury to win, and for a long time that looked like it had a good chance to cash until that ninth round changed everything.

Drake is no stranger to taking some losses this month, as his battle with Kendrick Lamar was a resounding majority decision win for K Dot in the eyes of the public. He tossed a little over half a million onto the fire by backing Fury, as a tough May continues for The Boy.

50 Cent Gets Mad At His Son For Seemingly Gambling With His Money

At this stage in his career, 50 Cent could certainly just ride off into the sunset and not worry about a single thing. Overall, he has made millions of dollars and has a ton of businesses. Moreover, he just finished his farewell tour which was a massive success. Fif is a legacy act in the world of hip-hop and he is well-respected by the fans and his peers. Given all that he has accomplished, no one would be mad if he one day decided to just retire from everything and spend time with his kids.

One of his kids is none other than Sire Jackson, who is 11 years old. Sometimes, Fif likes to feature Sire on his page and give the kid some hell from time to time. That is exactly what he did recently as Sire took a video at a basketball park. Sire could be seen on video taking free throws and trying to make some money in the process. “I’m going to call your dad and I’ma tell him to give me my money,” a person can be heard saying. “You’re betting your dad’s money right now.” At this point, Sire was down $500.

50 Cent Gives Sire A Talking To

This video prompted Fif to go to Instagram and write, “Just in, SIRE caught gambling with my money, his ass better made that shot!” Sire had put $600 on this shot so that he could recoup his money. However, had he not made the shot, he would have lost $1100 total. Thankfully for both Sire and Fif, the shot went in which led to a $100 profit. While $100 is not a lot of money, it can be for an 11-year-old. Hopefully, he doesn’t spend it all in one place. Although with inflation, he may have no choice.

Offset Drops Thousands At Casino Amid Cardi B Reunion Rumors

It’s no secret that Cardi B and Offset’s breakup was pretty messy. After sharing the news in December, the femcee immediately took to social media to put her former man on blast. What actually led to the split has yet to be confirmed, but fans had been under the impression that the duo wasn’t on the best of terms up until she announced that they slept together on New Year’s Eve.

At that point, supporters were left more confused than ever. The “Bongos” performer promptly addressed speculation that they were back together, however, insisting that she was still single. Flash forward to last week, when reunion rumors reignited after they were spotted at Carbone on Valentine’s Day. While the ex-pair seemingly staggered their entrances to the Miami restaurant, they left in the same car, making it clear that they had spent the romantic holiday together.

Offset Gambles In Florida

Only days after the apparent date night, Offset appears to have spent his weekend alone, gambling in Florida. TMZ got footage of the performer playing cards at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL last night (February 17), reportedly dropping at least a few grand. It’s possible that Offset was trying to win back some of what he lost on his Super Bowl bet. He reportedly put $1 million on the San Francisco 49ers, which obviously didn’t work out in his favor.

Either way, things are looking up for Offset overall, as his eagerly-anticipated Set It Off tour is quickly approaching. The Georgia-born artist will kick things off in Philly at the beginning of March. He’ll also be joined by Skilla Baby, SleazyWorld Go, and YRN Mango Foo. What do you think of Offset being spotted at a casino in Florida gambling alone? How about rumors that he and Cardi B could have gotten back together? What about his massive Super Bowl bet? 21 Savage Now Selling Gambling Merch After Adin Ross Scandal

21 Savage has begun selling branded dice and playing cards on his website days after being accused of scamming Adin Ross. The set of three d6 dice and a velvet bag costs $25 while a back of regulation playing cards costs $15. At the time of writing, the playing cards have already sold out. The new merch was released with very little fanfare but was clearly inspired by the ongoing scandal with Ross.

Of course, as mentioned, this all comes after 21 was roasted online for allegedly using marked cards against Adin Ross during a stream. 21 denied any knowledge of the cards. However, he said he would honor his debt and pay Ross the full amount he owed. The rapper had been down $400K at one point in the stream. Meanwhile, during a phone call with Kai Cenat, Ross cleared the air about the ongoing situation with 21. First, Ross made it very clear that he did not blame 21 for the marked cards during their recent high-stakes gambling stream. Instead, Ross placed the blame on a member of Savage’s crew. Furthermore, Ross confirmed that since the stream, he had received a $250K payment from 21 to settle their debt. Cenat was simply happy that Ross, a close friend of his, had “got that bread”.

Meanwhile, 21 is not the only rapper that Ross has been rolling with lately. Drake has revealed to Adin Ross that he needs $3M to fly on the rapper’s private jet, Air Drake. The revelation came as Drake dialed into Ross’ latest stream. However, Ross, who is either a multi-millionaire or broke depending on the day, appeared confident that he could put the money together to cop a ride on the luxury airliner. Despite this, Drake held firm and let Ross know that there were no “friends and family discount” on an Air Drake trip. It was $3M or nothing.

21 Savage Allegedly Scammed Adin Ross During Card Game, Rapper Gets Ripped Apart Online For It

The rapper had been down $400K at one point in the stream before making a miraculous comeback, eventually cashing out with Ross owing him $120K.

Despite 21’s pledge, commenters online still came after the rapper for the seemingly shady behavior. “21 a bum for this,” one person noted. “This is why his last album flopped,” added another. Adin Ross Forces Alleged Pedophile To Drink Out Of Dog Bowl

Of course, Ross has been involved in plenty of wild on-stream antics as of late. In late January, along with fellow content creator Vitaly, Ross helped apprehend an alleged pedophile. However, things escalated when Ross and Vitaly forced the mostly nude man to drink out of a dog bowl while wearing a leash held by Ross. The man was then turned over to local police. It is unclear what arrangement Ross and Vitaly made with the arresting officers to film the stunt.

The moment was part of a “pedo hunt”, a semi-recurring segment run by Vitaly that Ross has previously participated with in the past. However, the clip has proven divisive. While many people cheered the capture of a pedophile, many others noted that Ross and Vitaly were farming engagement from the action and that their behavior was tantamount to harassment. Furthermore, several people questioned the veracity of the moment, given that the police stood by and watched Ross and Vitaly force the man to drink from a dog bowl.
