Jim Jones Seemingly Shades Diddy In New “On The Radar” Freestyle

Fans believe Jim Jones appears to have dissed Diddy and his associates during a new freestyle for On The Radar. During the freestyle, he raps: “I seen you rap b*tches and rap n****s inside that n***a’s house. Now, you acting different. I should air you n****s out.” When The Neighborhood Talk shared the clip on Instagram, users presumed he was referring to the various allegations against the Bad Boy mogul.

“So everyone was quiet until it was popular to be loud …. Got it!” one fan wrote. Another theorized Jones wasn’t dissing Diddy specifically. “He not shading… he saying people been hangn wit him now they want to act diff. Jim been hangn out wit diddy,” they commented.

After a fourth victim came forward with stories of abuse about Diddy back in December, he released a statement on Instagram. “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”, Diddy wrote in all-caps. “FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS, I HAVE SAT SILENTLY AND WATCHED PEOPLE TRY TO ASSASSINATE MY CHARACTER, DESTROY MY REPUTATION AND MY LEGACY. SICKENING ACCUSATIONS HAVE BEEN MADE AGAINST ME BY INDIVIDUALS LOOKING FOR A QUICK PAYDAY. LET ME BE ABSOLUTELY CLEAR. I DID NOT DO ANY OF THE AWFUL THINGS BEING ALLEGED. Despite Jones’ latest comments, he hasn’t always been at odds with Diddy. Big Sean Seemingly Takes Shots At Drake, Kendrick Lamar, And J. Cole On New Freestyle

Big Sean is someone who fans are always looking forward to hearing from. Overall, he is considered to be one of the best rappers in the game right now. However, he doesn’t always get the same respect as guys like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, or even J. Cole. In a competitive genre like rap, this can be a frustrating thing to experience, and while Sean has downplayed these frustrations, they most certainly exist. We know this because he just dropped a new freestyle where he makes mention of the “bigger three.”

“I think where I lack most as an artist is consistency/ I just haven’t had the energy to compete with enemies,” he raps on the song. “Or y’all so-called bigger three/ But every verse I lay, fans love to say, ‘Man, n****s is sleep!’” As you will hear, this mention of the “Big Three” is done over a tinkered-with version of J Dilla’s “Drop” beat for The Pharcyde. It is the perfect canvas for Sean to get these bars off, and it’s clear that he is hungrier than ever to show the world what he can do.

Sean eventually goes on to talk about how he helped Kanye West record Graduation. “Back when you was a fly on the wall/ And dropped out of school to help Ye finish up Graduation/ Back when you hit your first celebrity crush and realized/ There’s badder girls back at home waiting, they just ain’t as famous,” he says on the song. New music from Sean is coming soon, and we’re sure fans are excited to experience it. Hopefully, he drops sooner rather than later.

Rap never seems to run out of tremendous rhymers and writers. Rappers like Saba, Mick Jenkins, and IDK all need to be in the conversation of some of the best in the modern-day landscape. All three have very underrated careers due to their middling exposure to hip-hop fans. But calling them that does not feel right because of how talented they all are. To flex their skills, Saba and the gang dropped some sick verses for their edition of the “Red Bull Spiral Freestyle.”

The energy drink company started this freestyle series about one year ago. If you have not been keeping track, Red Bull is now up to their eleventh installment. The cool thing about these cyphers is that it is all done in one take and every rapper has to navigate the same instrumental. However, that is no problem for Saba, Mick, and IDK.

All three rap with high energy and bravado, while also spitting some introspective bars as well. G Herbo is currently dealing with the repercussions of wire fraud conspiracy and another count of making false statements to a federal official. The gritty Chicago rapper is in the midst of serving three years of probation. While it is not an ideal situation, he is “taking accountability” for his actions. “But you know just staying alone, staying the course, and a lot of money for sure. You feel what I’m saying? A lot of money to stay free. At the end of the day, I was taking accountability for a minor role in some s***,” he told Drink Champs.

To help get through this, Herbo is dropping some new music. Part of that output is the new freestyle below called “Get In Wit Me.” He also dropped a Valentine’s Day-themed single “My Baby.” Both of them are available on YouTube only.

DaBaby’s Newest Freestyle Divides Fans Online

In recent years, DaBaby has increasingly taken to hopping on already existing beats to share some freestyles for his fans. Last year he went on a string of drops touching on some popular songs at the time and it was actually met with acclaim from a lot of his fans. Despite some dwindling commercial numbers from his peak a few years ago, he still has a pretty devoted fanbase. They often swarm his comments on both Instagram and YouTube with positivity for almost anything he drops.

But this time, his fans are coming away from a new freestyle a little more divided. He recently shared a clip of him hopping on the beat from Jay-Z’s “Public Service Announcement.” The song is in the tracklist of his legendary 2003 Black Album and sports one of his most beloved verses. High standards and expectations may be the reason why this song doesn’t seem to be landing with fans in the same way as some of his others. Despite the mixed buzz though, the video has racked up more than 100k views in just a day since it was dropped. Check out the full freestyle below.

Fabolous Shades Mystery Opp On IG Before Dropping “Calling You Up” Freestyle

Fabolous is feeling fiery these days for multiple reasons, and an Instagram Story post from Friday (February 2) is the main reason why, fans think. Moreover, he addressed a mystery enemy with some short but scathing statements: “I saved your reputation by only telling my side of the story. Stay humble.” Of course, the New York MC could be talking about anyone here, and fans also have a new piece of “evidence” to unpack for more answers. He released a music video for the “Calling You Up Freestyle” on Saturday (February 3), another reimagining of a recent Drake beat. He flows really well on it, has some sharp and boastful bars, and even references Drizzy’s Her Loss partner 21 S*vage, echoing the Toronto superstar’s own line about the Slaughter Gang spitter on that instrumental.

Alas, there’s not much to gain here when it comes to this unknown feud, as there are little to no bars that seem particularly pointed. That’s not to say it’s not good, as the performance and charisma here is still solid. Furthermore, that’s a talent that Fabolous has always championed and represented, but something that he’s reminding younger generations of a lot these days. For example, another of his recent freestyles is the cut “Snooze,” and it lives up to his Freestyle Friday series’ high bar of quality control.

However, there is one freestyle that opened up some family wounds, namely the installment “Selfish” which seems to address his estranged relationship with his stepdaughter, Taina Williams. “Selfishness will make someone comment under your pic,” Fabolous raps on the song. “When he took care of you and your mama since you were six/ Who selfish?/ Maybe we all are.” Many felt that this was a direct shot at Williams, who blasted him as an absent father in a comment under his 2022 post congratulating his then-two-year-old daughter Journey.

Furthermore, this follows another recent rap endorsement of Tory Lanez that backfired, for some people at least. Fivio Foreign proclaimed “Free Tory” as a reaction to Nicki Minaj’s new Megan Thee Stallion diss track, “Big Foot.” Hotties everywhere responded in kind, clowning his support by challenging him to actually prove it with more than just words. What they seem to imply is that the drill artist is just trying to use this as stepping stones, and won’t actually stand on business. However, someone on 1501 claimed Nicki wouldn’t hop on the track because she has beef with Banks. Banks put that speculation to rest, and now this week, she is back with a brand-new song. This time around, she has offered up another freestyle. This one is for “the track “Get Silly,” and once again, Banks has come through with a lot of energy. Overall, she is an artist who inspires confidence with her flow and delivers scintillating bars. It is a great combo that definitely pays off on this new cut.
