Deion Sanders Demands NCAA Compensate Colorado Players For UCLA Robbery

Deion Sanders publicly demanded that the NCAA or UCLA directly compensate his players after the Colorado Buffaloes were reportedly the victims of a robbery during a recent road game. “Our kids got robbed during the game last week. I think that’s a travesty. I would expect the NCAA to do something about that. This is the Rose Bowl. They said the granddaddy of ’em all, right? I’m sure granddaddy had some money. Grandpa should have some money to give these kids,” Sanders told reporters during a press conference this week. “I’m going to have a list made out from these young men, and I know they’re going to be truthful about what they lost, so we can try and get it back for them. They may not be able to get the items back, but they should be able to reimburse them. That was unbelievable,” he continued.

Furthermore, Sanders squarely put the burden of responsibility on the NCAA. “It don’t make no sense when you’re out there ballin’ and playing your heart out and you get robbed at the same [time]. I hope we can do something about that, NCAA. You do something about everything else. Do something about that,” Sanders noted. UCLA officials confirmed that a police report had been filed with the Pasadena PD. The Rose Bowl, which serves as the Bruins’ home stadium, is about 26 miles from the main UCLA campus. The robbery reportedly occurred during UCLA’s 28-16 win over the Buffs this past weekend.

Losses All Round For Sanders & Colorado

It appears that nothing can go right for Sanders and his ailing Colorado team. The UCLA loss was their fourth loss in the last five games, bringing them to 4-4 on the season after a 3-0 start. Furthermore, starting quarterback Shedeur Sanders is potentially a scratch for their game against #16 Oregon State this weekend. Sanders took another seven sacks and reportedly needed an injection at halftime to keep playing. Sanders made the decision to sit his son during early week practices. “I think I’m going to give him another day or so off, so he can heal properly and he can be at his best. We want his best. He’s doing well, though, mentally, physically, as well as psychologically,” Sanders explained. If Sanders needs to miss the game, the ball will be turned over to freshman Ryan Staub or junior Gavin Kudd.

There are four games left on Colorado’s schedule, with the Buffs needing at least two wins to be bowl-eligible. They have two home games next up, facing #16 Oregon State (6-2) and Arizona (5-3). After that, they hit the road to close out the regular season. That road trip begins at Washington State (4-4) and the season is closed out at #18 Utah (6-2).

Overall, this has gotten him in trouble from time to time. However, rarely does it result in legal implications. Well, that seemingly changed recently as he spoke on the allegations that Brett Favre aided in diverting funds from welfare recipients in Mississippi. Favre didn’t like his comments and launched lawsuits against Pat McAfee and Sharpe.

In the end, he settled with McAfee, and the whole thing was put to rest. However, the case against Sharpe remained ongoing. Many were curious as to how this whole thing would include. After all, Sharpe is someone who is beloved by fans. Meanwhile, Favre doesn’t have the greatest reputation among the fans these days. Well, last night, Sharpe revealed that the entire thing is over and done with. He came out victorious.

“The United States District Court 4 the Southern District of Mississippi 2day dismissed Brett Favre’s defamation lawsuit against me,” Sharpe wrote. “The court found the statements were protected by the 1st Amendment 2 the Constitution. Thanks 2 my legal team and their handling of this case.” Overall, this is a huge win for Sharpe. Free speech laws have come through for the First Take co-host, and now, he can breathe a bit more easily. Needless to say, Favre might be thinking twice about launching another lawsuit. Hopefully, Shannon never has to deal with any of this again.

Despite all of the good fortune, it is clear that this relationship is taking its toll a bit. Kelce’s family has had to suffer the brunt of the publicity. They never really asked for his and they were never able to expect it. However, they have been thrust into the spotlight. As TMZ reports, this has been extremely difficult for the family. Travis’ parents are overwhelmed, and so is his brother Jason.

The only real issue here is that the publicity has made it difficult to live life normally. Moreover, they feel as though the Swifties are a bit unhinged. Colorado Buffaloes Players Report Stolen Jewelry Following UCLA Match

Overall, the Colorado Buffaloes are a team that has received a ton of coverage this season. They currently have a 4-4 record despite winning their first three games. At this point, a lot of the Deion Sanders hype has died down. Instead, many are seeing this team as the average squad they were supposed to be. Regardless, whenever they play, people still try and pay attention. For instance, on Saturday night, they got to play against the UCLA Bruins, who came into the match at 5-2.

In the end, it was a difficult game for the Buffaloes. They ended up losing the match by a score of 28-16. Overall, it was another loss on their record, and you can tell the team wants to avenge it. They play against Oregon State next week, which is yet another ranked opponent. However, the team has other things to worry about. As you can see above, the players claim that while they were playing their game, assailants broke into the locker room and took some of their goods. The vast majority of these “goods” were their chains. They say that stuff was taken right out of the locker room and that security didn’t seem to do their job. It’s hard to believe a huge football stadium would drop the ball like this. However, clearly, something was amiss as there were multiple players who were robbed.

Travis Kelce Dances To Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off” During World Series Game

Travis Kelce was spotted dancing to Taylor Swift’s hit song, “Shake It Off,” while in attendance at Game 1 of the World Series on Friday night in Arlington, Texas. Kelce and the pop star have been dating for several months at this point.

During the game, Kelce was featured on the big screen at Globe Life Field stadium while Swift’s 2014 song played. He jammed along in his seat in the stands. The Texas Rangers went on to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 6-5 in the game. Later in the night, Kelce was spotted once again at a nearby bar, where Swift’s 2008 song “Love Story” played.

Kelce’s dad, Ed, recently spoke with PEOPLE about what it’s been like having her with them. “We’re sitting in the suite, she gets up and in the front room, she gets up to go get a drink or something and she starts picking up empty bottles, cans, plates that are scattered around. Because in the suites everybody gets stuff and you empty it down wherever you can. And I’m just thinking, I don’t think she got the diva memo. She didn’t get the spoiled musician. She doesn’t know how to pull that off. And that really to me said a whole lot,” Ed told the outlet.

TCU Used “Dummy Signals” To Thwart Michigan Sign-Stealing During CFP

TCU reportedly used “dummy signals” to counter sign-stealing by Michigan during their College Football Playoff matchup earlier this year. According to sources who spoke with Yahoo!, TCU received calls in the run-up to their Fiesta Bowl game against Michigan, informing them that Michigan had likely stolen their play-calling signs. “Sometimes we froze a play before the snap. We’d call a play and then we’d signal in another play with an old signal but we told players to run the original play,” one TCU coach told the outlet about how they countered the potential leak.

The news came out amid the unfolding situation at Michigan. The university suspended eight-year employee Connor Stalions due to an NCAA investigation into sign-stealing. Stalions had reportedly bought tickets to over 40 NCAA games over the last three years and attended the games to illegally record the play-calling signs of upcoming and potential Michigan opponents. While the NCAA does not specifically prohibit sign-stealing, both in-person scouting of future opponents and the electronic recording of play-calling signs are both banned.

More Trouble For Michigan

The sign-stealing scandal is just one of three investigations currently occurring at Michigan. Coach Jim Harbaugh is still under investigation for recruiting violations that occurred during the COVID-19 dead period in 2020. Harbaugh served a three-game suspension to begin the season and rulings on further infractions are expected next year. However, it remains to be seen just how extensive knowledge of the sign-stealing scheme was.

Meanwhile, the FBI was reportedly at the school’s Ann Arbor campus earlier this week as part of a third investigation. Very little information into the firing of assistant coach Matt Weiss has been released since it happened earlier this year. However, Weiss was fired over “unauthorized computer access crimes” that occurred at Michigan’s athletics facilities. However, UoM Deputy Police Chief Melissa Overton told ESPN the investigation, which now involves the FBI, is “extensive, ongoing and is of the utmost priority. Furthermore, Overton noted that it covered multiple states.

GloRilla Has Adorable Reaction To Meeting Mike Tomlin: Watch

GloRilla recently got the chance to meet someone she’s been a fan of for years – Mike Tomlin. In a recently shared video, the rapper linked up with the longtime Steelers head coach, practically running down a corridor to give him a big hug. As they try to swap introductions, Glo cuts Tomlin off to eagerly say “Yes, I know who you are”. Just as quickly, Tomlin replied, “And I know who you are!” The video is just all kinds of heart-warming.

Despite being born and raised in Memphis, Glo apparently has big love for the coach who has led the Steelers since 2007. Tomlin is originally from Virginia but has an extensive coaching history. His coaching journey took him through VMI, Memphis, Arkansas State, and Cincinnati at the college level before he jumped to the NFL in 2001. After positional stints with Tampa Bay and Minnesota, Tomlin landed his first head coaching gig with the Steelers. Tomlin has won two Super Bowls – with the Buccs in 2003 and with the Steelers in 2009.

Tomlin most recently coached the Steelers to a 24-17 win over the Rams. However, that has been overshadowed by a beef between rapper Blueface and the wife of the Rams’ starting QB. Kelly Stafford voiced her displeasure over Blue turning a suite at SoFi Stadium into an impromptu strip club during last weekend’s game. In particular, Stafford was upset that her children were exposed to the footage. Furthermore, she argued that Blue’s antics violated the family-friendly nature of an NFL game.

Blue recently shot back on social media, calling Stafford a “Karen” and telling her that LA is his territory. “Somebody tell Mathew stafford wife I been in LA longer then her an Matt. Deion Sanders Approves Of Kenan Thompson’s “SNL” Impression

Deion Sanders has expressed his approval of Kenan Thompson’s impression of him on a recent episode of SNL. “I’m a fan of Kenan, let’s get that straight. I love what he’s brought to comedy. I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before and I’ll never forget those moments,” Sanders said of the skit at his press availability this week. Thompson brought Coach Prime to life in a Weekend Update segment that poked fun at Sanders’ larger-than-life personality. As for Sanders’ SNL hosting gig, that came in February 1995, a couple weeks after he won Super Bowl 30 with the Niners.

Sanders and the Buffs are back in action this weekend following their bye week. The 4-3 Buffs take on #23 5-2 UCLA, who have traded wins and losses for their last four games. The Bruins enter coming off a big 42-7 win over Stanford, a team that stunned Colorado two weeks ago. With five games and three ranked opponents left, every game is a must-win for Colorado if they want to stand a chance of playing in bowl season this year.

Of course, Deion spent the first five years of his NFL career as an electrifying presence for the Falcons (and Braves). Shedeur has been widely considered QB4 in the 2024 draft class after a white-hot start to his Colorado career. He has over 2400 yards through seven games for the Buffs. Meanwhile, it’s hard to say where Shilo, a safety, will fall in the draft. He has 36 tackles and an 80-yard pick-six on the season so far. Meanwhile, Atlanta’s current QB is Desmond Ridder, who is in his first year as a full-time starter. He has 1630 yards and a 6-6 touchdown-interception ratio through seven games. The Falcons are 4-3 so far this season.
