Rick Ross & Meek Mill “Go To Hell” On Today’s “Fire Emoji” Playlist: Stream

If you’re having a hard time shaking the dramatic change in temperature that comes with autumn, at least you’ve always got our Fire Emoji playlist to help warm you up. Today (November 11) we’ve got new heat from some of hip-hop’s biggest creators, including Rick Ross and Meek Mill. The longtime friends reunited for a joint album called Too Good To Be True this New Music Friday, teaming up with the likes of Vory, Fabolous, DJ Khaled, The-Dream, and Teyana Taylor for their 17-track effort. To light up our weekly update we’ve got “Go To Hell” featuring Cool & Dre and BEAM. Trust us when we tell you it only gets hotter from there.

2 Chainz and Lil Wayne are our next iconic duo, showing out once again on “Long Story Short.” After that, we hear from two notoriously raunchy lyricists – Kevin Gates and Sexyy Red – on “Yonce Freestyle,” which also features B.G., who’s on an impressive run after returning home from prison a few months ago. Lil Durk made a triumphant return with “Smurk Carter” this week after previously teasing the single on social media, and Smino reminded his listeners why we love him so much with an appearance on ENNY’s “Charge It Remix.”

The latter half of today’s Fire Emoji round-up comes complete with solo work from both Kodak Black and Jack Harlow. The former did his thing on “Lemme See,” while the latter was clearly feeling himself when recording “Lovin On Me.” NBA YoungBoy’s “Better Than Ever” collab with Rod Wave also made the cut, along with Lola Brooke’s “Don’t Get Me Started.” The femcee dropped off her debut solo project yesterday, and so far, the Coi Leray and Nija track is an obvious fan favourite.

Gunna & Megan Thee Stallion Lead Our Latest Stacked “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

If you ever thought that music always slows down towards the end of the year, look no further than our new Fire Emoji playlist update as proof against that. There was a lot of amazing hip-hop that came out this week, from the new school to old legends. As a perfect example of a combination of those two, Benny The Butcher and Lil Wayne traded impeccable bars on the grimy single “Big Dog.” For those looking for more modern, woozy sounds, Gunna and Turbo came through to please on the new song “Bachelor.” On that same contemporary note, Megan Thee Stallion kickstarted her career comeback with her latest record, “Cobra,” which is an emotive but perseverant cut.

However, now let’s bring Fire Emoji back to the classics for a second with Jeezy’s brand-new double album, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget. Moreover, the song “No Complaining” shows his power and charisma as an MC while still tapping into modern attitudes and aesthetics. Another hot album this week came from Tee Grizzley, who dropped the 16-track project Tee’s Coney Island. When you need to put on a menacing and fast-paced Detroit banger, his track “Loop Hole” with 21 S*vage will be right there waiting for you.

As we keep going further into our Fire Emoji playlist update, you’ll notice that the variety doesn’t slip up. A chemistry-filled and bouncy single from Travis Scott, Kid Cudi, and Pharrell Williams- “AT THE PARTY“- brings the intensity down while still providing an infectious atmosphere. There’s a similar waviness on Cochise’s new song “HOP IN THE WHIP,” although it’s more energetic and with faster flows. In addition, Kodak Black also dropped “2’CY,” which is a Jersey club-inspired record with a strong emphasis on his melodic delivery.

Finally, to close things out with the best releases this week, Rapsody and Hit-Boy teamed up for the dense and powerful track “Asteroids.” Also, we have The Alchemist’s new EP Flying High, Part 2, on which the Conway The Machine-assisted “Phil Drummond” is a massive highlight; Al even drops some bars of his own! Let us know in the comments section what your favorite release of these was this week, and also what we missed. Kid Cudi, Pusha T & More Set Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update Ablaze

October’s almost over, and so is 2023, so we’re grateful to these artists on our latest Fire Emoji playlist update for keeping up the heat and finishing this year off strong. We had a lot of great new singles this week, such as Tee Grizzley’s lengthy, narrative, and fierce new cut “Robbery 6.” Moreover, the storytelling on display is nothing out of the ordinary for the Michigan MC, but is detailed and filled with enough conviction to make it a vivid banger. In addition, we also have NBA YoungBoy’s new cut “Now Who,” adding to his unsurprisingly prolific 2023 release history. This fits into YB’s more melodic and drowsy songwriting, which means his next project might be more in line with what fans loved from him early on.

Furthermore, another artist who did exactly what they’re best at on our Fire Emoji playlist this week is the one and only Key Glock. Not only did the Memphis spitter flow like wildfire on “One Me,” but chose a grimy and progressive beat to captivate listeners who might not know to his sound. There’s a similar “stick-to-your-guns” energy on Kodak Black’s new single “Eaze Your Mind,” which instrumentally is nothing remarkable. However, the Florida rapper leans into his strained and unfiltered emotive delivery that his die-hards really connect with.

In addition to these new tracks on Fire Emoji, we also got an NBA remix for an NBA-adjacent cut with one of its namesake artists. Rick Ross and Meek Mill enlisted Shaquille O’Neal and Dame D.O.L.L.A., better known as Damian Lillard, for the remix of their song “SHAQ & KOBE.” Also, we have a new G.O.O.D. Music team-up courtesy of CyHi and Pusha T’s new track, “Mr. Put That S**t On.” It’s a dramatic, larger-than-life, and bass-heavy beat that fits their boastful rhymes quite well.

Meanwhile, Wun Two and Conway The Machine brought some classic, woozy boom-bap vibes for us on “Brick by Brick.” Finally, we have Kid Cudi’s new offering “ILL WHAT I BLEED,” a psychedelic trap cut with elastic vocal performances. Let us know what we missed from this week’s new release and what your favorites from Fire Emoji are in the comments down below. Check the playlist out above and come back to HNHH for more great hip-hop releases each week.

Offset & Westside Gunn Bring Heavy Hitters To Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

This week’s New Music Friday felt like an avalanche of bangers, which is why our Fire Emoji playlist update is here to recap the best of the best. Not only did we get plenty of great tracks within hip-hop, but we also got some of the most anticipated and grandiose albums of 2023. First up, there’s Offset’s new LP SET IT OFF, on which there are plenty of heated and hard-hitting tracks to sink your teeth into. There’s the slow-burning but triumphant Travis Scott collab “SAY MY GRACE,” on which both MCs flow with ease. Also, “BROAD DAY” contains some of the catchiest melodic elements on the album, a fast-paced drum pattern, and a cold-blooded Future feature.

The other big album that dominated our Fire Emoji playlist update this week was Westside Gunn’s And Then You Pray For Me. The sequel to his iconic 2020 album Pray For Paris is long, lavish, impressively consistent, and a true rap experience with so many amazing guests. An easy highlight is the menacing “Mamas PrimeTime,” featuring J.I.D, Conway The Machine, and Cartier A Williams. If you’re looking for a wildly different Griselda vibe, though, Tay Keith’s trap production on “Kostas” with Conway and Benny The Butcher will blow your mind.

Furthermore, Fire Emoji taps into that contemporary sound a bit further with Veeze’s “Get Lucki.” This song appears on his new deluxe version of his album Ganger that dropped this week, and is a lackadaisical but nonetheless wavy cut. Another big drop was Young Thug’s “From A Man,” which released alongside his flame Mariah The Scientist’s “From A Woman.” It’s an impressive lyrical performance, and one that reminds fans that Thugger is a truly special artist.

Meanwhile, this playlist update rounds out with a new single and two remixes. Gucci Mane gave us another taste of his new album with “Glizock & Wizop” with Key Glock. In addition, Burna Boy remixed Lil Durk and J. Cole’s “All My Life,” and finally, Travis Scott, G Herbo, and BIA teamed up to reimagine Lil Blessin’s “Likka Sto.” Let us know what your favorite release of the week was, as well as what we missed, and check out the Fire Emoji playlist above. Drake Makes Sure Our New “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update Is “For All The Dogs”

Unsurprisingly, our first October Fire Emoji playlist update of 2023 features none other than October’s Very Own- and in a big way. Drake’s For All The Dogs is the talk of the town right now, and there are so many tracks to dive into and explore when it comes to the bangers on display this week. Of course, we’d be remiss not to mention Drizzy’s excellent J. Cole collab, “First Person Shooter,” or his unmatched lyrical performance on the album with “8AM In Charlotte.” In addition, the wavy but nonetheless hard-hitting “What Would Pluto Do” is not just a great Future homage, but a catchy cut regardless. Finally, we chose to shout out “Rich Baby Daddy” with Sexyy Red and SZA as one of the most fiery style mashups on FATD.

However, Drake might’ve had the biggest album of the week, but in this writer’s opinion, he’s leagues away from the best. Taking up another spot on Fire Emoji is a track from that title’s occupant: Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist’s VOIR DIRE. They finally released the whole thing on streaming, and while some amazing records didn’t make this version, they made up for that with stellar cuts. With help from Vince Staples, the song “Mancala” has impeccable wordplay, a lot of heart, and a classically fire Uncle Al beat.

Furthermore, our latest Fire Emoji updates also showcases Denzel Curry’s “SKED” with Kenny Mason. That track came out a little bit ago, so don’t sleep on its B-side that dropped this week: the tough-as-nails “WOO” with PlayThatBoiZay and Chief Pound. Another heater to come was Kevin Gates’ “God Slippers,” assisted with some overpowering bass. It’s a pretty boastful and dramatic cut, but one that his vocal tone fits quite well.

Meanwhile, BigXthaPlug came through with a groovy but still trunk-knocking sample flip of The Whispers’ “And The Beat Goes On” on “Mmhmm.” Finally, Tee Grizzley and Finesse2tymes teamed up for the bouncy and aptly titled “Grizzley 2Tymes.” With these gems in mind, let us know what your favorite hip-hop release this week was in the comments below. Also, check out our Fire Emoji playlist above and stick around on HNHH for more great music releases each week.

Lil Yachty & J. Cole Are Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update’s “Secret Recipe”

This week’s Fire Emoji playlist update is ushering in the last quarter of the year, and September closed off with some absolute heat. In fact, there was an interesting theme this week when it came to new releases in hip-hop: duos. For example, Lil Yachty and J. Cole impressed everyone with their lyrical chemistry over an old-school-feeling beat on the track “The Secret Recipe.” In addition, we got some more expected and long-awaited fare from an iconic team-up in rap: Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Moreover, they just released their triumphant and bar-heavy single “SHAQ & KOBE,” the preview to their upcoming full-length collab project.

Furthermore, this week’s Fire Emoji edition couldn’t go without mentioning Lil Wayne’s Tha Fix Before Tha VI, the anticipatory project to his long-awaited Tha Carter VI album. Specifically, we had to highlight the relentless flows, wordplay, and consistent hunger displayed on the track “Slip.” Another highlight off that tape is “To The Bank” with Cool & Dre, on which Weezy taps into his trap bag and shows he can do it just as well. Also, there were other similarly high-energy cuts this week, namely “ISSA PARTY” from Latto and BabyDrill.

However, we also need some time to chill down a little on Fire Emoji, and who better to fuse those two worlds together than Rod Wave? His cut “Turks & Caicos” with 21 S*vage off of his new album Nostalgia is low-key, but still packs a percussive punch while paying lyrical and melodic homage to Hov (we’ll let you find out which track he references). The new CMG compilation Gangsta Art 2 also brought us some bangers, such as “Cha Cha Cha” with GloRilla and Fivio Foreign, plus “50/50” by Moneybagg Yo. To keep the duos theme going, we have Lyrical Lemonade’s new single off their upcoming album, “Guitar In My Room” with Lil Durk and Kid Cudi.

Meanwhile, YG and Tyga’s new mixtape Hit Me When U Leave The Klub: The Playlist held a standout in “Brand New” with Tunechi’s assistance. Finally, we have Kelvin Krash’s new album HARSH, who tapped A$AP Rocky on the song “GET A GRIP.” Let us know what your favorite hype release of the week was in the comments down below. Check out our Fire Emoji playlist update above and stay up to date on HNHH for more great rap releases each week.

Doja Cat & Doechii Lead The Way On Our Latest “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update

As we enter the final months of the year, plenty of artists want to keep the heat up on our latest Fire Emoji playlist update. Leading the way is Doja Cat, who just dropped her highly anticipated and evolutionary new album, Scarlet. In particular, the tracks “Wet Vagina” and “Agora Hills” pack a big punch, showcasing how the Los Angeles native leveled up her rapping game. However, no one this week was able to best Doechii’s raw and gritty energy on her latest single, “Pacer.” Following plenty of other hit releases and more industry crew by the week, the TDE MC is poised to cement herself as a top-tier lyricist and artist very soon.

In addition, our Fire Emoji playlist highlights Moneybagg Yo and Sexyy Red’s new collab single, the raunchy but simply effective “Big Dawg.” Of course, it wasn’t just chart-toppers and established stars that impressed this week. For example, 2FeetBino and BabyDrill’s new cut “Starstruck” is a hard-hitting piece of trap that is as bombastic, confident, and boastful as you would expect. It’s more expressive and passionate than your average street rap odyssey, while using the elements like sparse, menacing pianos that make those tracks memorable.

Moving away from stateside hip-hop on Fire Emoji, though, UK drillers Headie One, K-Trap, and Clavish form a smooth and relentless “TRIPLE THREAT” with their new single. Also, Doja wasn’t the only one to drop an LP this week, with Lil Tecca’s “Dead or Alive” being a rage-infused highlight on his new project TEC. Other highlights on that album include features from Kodak Black and Ken Carson, plus the playful and infectious melodies that the 21-year-old is well-known for. Speaking of catchy melodies, Bryson Tiller assisted Lola Brooke’s new song “You,” which is a bit of a throwback to 2000s R&B/rap crossovers.

Finally, EARTHGANG and the supergroup Spillage Village’s “Flavors of Karma” is a funky, off-kilter, and lyrically and structurally impressive cut from the duo’s new EP RIP Human Art. As for this week’s lyrical standout, look no further than Rome Streetz and Joey Bada$$’s new collaboration, “Fire At Ya Idle Mind.” If you want to hear these and other amazing bangers from this year, check out our Fire Emoji playlist update above. Nas, Lil Wayne, Doja Cat & Many More Join Our Best “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update Yet

This week had a lot of amazing new hip-hop to cover, no matter what styles of the genre you’re a fan of. Moreover, our Fire Emoji playlist update is here to represent the best of the best, and it’s surprising just how much variety this week held. Starting us off is the final album from Nas and Hit-Boy, Magic 3, which is quite varied and versatile in its own right. We chose to point out “Never Die” featuring the legendary Lil Wayne, which is far from the only excellent lyrical display on this playlist. “The Caliphate” from Earl Sweatshirt, Vince Staples, and The Alchemist is a woozy, dense, and perfectly paced cut of slow but hypnotizing abstract hip-hop with great bar work.

In addition, Doja Cat released yet another single ahead of her highly anticipated album Scarlet dropping very soon. With “Balut,” she had fans clamoring for her to join Griselda based on her flows and the grimy instrumental of choice (which is funny because Westside Gunn already shot his shot with her). This Fire Emoji update also features the latest offering from Sexyy Red, one of the most in-demand rappers today. Lil Durk cooked up an emphatic verse on “Hellcats SRTs 2,” which further roots the original in a drill aesthetic.

What ended up being the most slept-on track on Fire Emoji that you shouldn’t miss out on is from Gucci Mane’s newest signee. Brezden released “BRRR B” featuring Guwop, and in addition to a couple of sharp bars and fast-moving beats, it might be the start of an interesting career to watch considering his origin. Gucci’s got an album on the way, and so does Offset, who dropped his dramatic and sonically progressive single “FAN” this week, too. It swaps between auto-tuned melodies and aggressive flows, which is a relatively unexplored area for the Georgia native.

Finally, closing out our playlist update are two trunk-knockers: “ACT UP” by Killer Mike and Young Nudy and “SKED” by Denzel Curry and Kenny Mason. They’re both energetic trap cuts, whether it’s because of the horns on the first or the buzzing bass on the second. One thing’s for sure: they all bring the bars and amazing lyrical performances. With all this heat in mind, go check out our Fire Emoji playlist above and stay up to date on HNHH for more great releases each week.

Megan Thee Stallion & Cardi B Bring The “Bongos” To Our “Fire Emoji” Playlist This Week

Summer might be over, but by no means does that mean that new music releases are slowing down in hip-hop. Moreover, our Fire Emoji playlist update this week covers a lot, from massive mainstream returns to low-key but always welcome hits. To start things off, how could we not mention Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s comeback hit, “Bongos“? It’s quite the stylistic shift for the two femcees sonically, taking more rhythmic cues from dembow and Latin genres than hip-hop instrumentation. To keep up the girl power, Latto and Sexyy Red revitalized one of the year’s best hard-hitting trap bangers with their remix of Young Nudy’s “Peaches & Eggplants.”

Next, our Fire Emoji playlist contains a highlight from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie’s latest EP, B4 BOA. “Did Me Wrong” is a soulful yet nonetheless energetic cut that hints towards what the New York MC will do with his next full-length project. As far as other singles, Peezy, Money Man, and Larry June teamed up for the gritty and haunting “Fashion Week,” showing off confident verses and flows. For a lyricist as recently acclaimed and often abstract as Mr. “Good Job Larry” himself, seeing this change of pace is a refreshing experience.

Meanwhile, Tee Grizzley achieved a similar switch-up with the track “IDGAF,” which leaves his heavy and impactful bars to the side. Sure, they’re still in there, but with Chris Brown and Mariah the Scientist as features, it’s a pretty sultry and genre-blending R&B and trap song. In fact, there’s a similar melodic and trunk-knocking appeal to Chris Patrick’s Fire Emoji contribution, “LOCK IT UP.” As an MC, he’s just as prone to firing off fast flows as he is to belt his vocals and craft catchy refrains.

Finally, Killer Mike was kind enough to grace us with a loosie from his recent excellent album MICHAEL, titled “MAYNARD VIGNETTE” and featuring T.I., JID, and Jacquees. It’s an incredible reunion between all artists, and one that’s heartfelt and impressive. To end things off, Rob49, Jay Rock, Ray Ray McCloud, Melvin Ingram, and J300 crafted another hype posse cut on “Primetime” off the new Madden NFL EP CROWD CONTROL. Check out the full Fire Emoji playlist above and stay up to date on HNHH for more great hip-hop each week.

Lil Wayne Serves Up “Kat Food” On The Latest “Fire Emoji” Playlist Update: Stream

September started off on a high note thanks to a New Music Friday loaded with hot releases from some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Above all else, we were happiest to hear from Lil Wayne yesterday on his “Kat Food” single, which took the No. 1 spot on our Fire Emoji update. The Louisana native teased the track on social media in the days leading up to its release, and we’ve been playing it consistently since it first landed on DSPs. Speaking of felines, Doja Cat also had a new song for us ahead of her highly anticipated Scarlet album.

As she continues to see “Paint The Town Red” find massive success on the charts, the California native showed us her “Demons” this month. In the song’s accompanying visual, Doja looks more chilling than ever in her sinister body makeup, though her lyricism is earning mass praise across social media. Interestingly, she and Lil Wayne have both been named as performers for the upcoming MTV VMAsm and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in the fall.

Following that comes a collaboration from Maxo Kream and Key Glock called “Bonecrusher,” as well as 38 Spesh and Conway the Machine’s work with Benny The Butcher on “Goodfellas.”

Finally, closing things out for our first update of September are EARTHGANG and Spillage Village, who joined forced on “Die Today.” Find all of our latest hip-hop favourites exclusively on our Spotify Fire Emoji playlist.
