Cassidy Says He’s Not Interested In Battling Meek Mill

Cassidy says he has no interest in taking on Meek Mill in a rap battle, despite their past beef. He discussed the state of his feud with his fellow Philadelphia rapper during an interview on Vlad TV. In doing so, Cassidy explained that he doesn’t view Meek Mill as a battle rapper and that he has so many other things going on in his career, that he probably wouldn’t be interested either.

“Salute to Meek, but, he ain’t battle rap,” he said to outlet. “Like, maybe he battled back in the day to try to get on, like to try to get people familiar with what he do. There’s a bunch of people that did that. But still, they wouldn’t consider themselves battle rappers.”

He continued: “Maybe that’s the cloth he was cut from back then, but it’s been so much time, and him doing other shit, and on music, and then a different bag, that I’m not even sure if he’s interested in battle rapping. … We kinda already had our own little battle, but I’m not interested in battling nobody. Long as the business is right, they could pick whoever I battle.”

The beef between Cassidy and Meek Mill began over a decade ago at this point. Back in 2013, things reached a high point when the two traded a series of freestyles aimed at dissing one another. Despite his animosity with Meek Mill, Cassidy recently revealed that he once tried to sign him. During a recent interview with the African Cultural Art Forum (ACAF), he explained that he simply couldn’t offer Meek what he needed at the time. “It wasn’t like I was super connected to the machine,” he said. “I was moving towards the independent direction. So I was offering him distribution, but more in like an independent way, [however] maybe he wanted to be more on the major side.” Check Cassidy’s discussion with Vlad TV below.

Chlöe Lashes Out At DJ Envy On “The Breakfast Club”: Watch

The response to Chlöe Bailey’s debut solo album, In Pieces, has likely been far more mixed than the 24-year-old anticipated. Regardless of what critics have had to say, however, she’s carried her head high and performed with all of her might across the country over the past few weeks. She still has a few concerts left, but before taking the stage again, Bailey found time in her busy schedule to appear on The Breakfast Club with hosts Charlamagne and DJ Envy.

Unfortunately for the Atlanta native, she was left feeling fed up with the latter when he didn’t know the names of songs from her new project. “Listen… Come here. Did you download the album?” Bailey asked Envy on air this morning. “I streamed it,” he confirmed. “Ok, so what was your favourite song?” the R&B starlet pushed. After a moment of undeniably awkward silence, she popped off on the media personality. “You keep wanting to throw [Charlamagne] under the bus! Nope, nope. Tell me your favourite song,” Chlöe insisted.

Chlöe Isn’t Here for Disrespect

“I’m a DJ, so I play the record in the club,” Envy explained to his guest. “So, which one?” Bailey asked again, ignoring his attempt to avoid her question. “Which one did you play from ‘In Pieces’? Because ‘Have Mercy’ isn’t on ‘In Pieces,’” the performer continued to call the 45-year-old out while noting that her 2021 single will appear on the album’s upcoming deluxe cut. In wake of the comedic footage circulating online, many social media users are running to stream the multi-talent’s debut solo album. Elsewhere, others have been comparing her to Nicki Minaj for fearlessly calling male media personalities out on their disrespect.

Aside from Envy’s attitude today, many music lovers have also criticized the “For The Night” singer for collaborating with Chris Brown on her project. Regardless of the haters, the two have had each other’s backs over the past few weeks as they focus on their own unique endeavours. Tap into Chlöe’s first appearance on The Breakfast Club below, and tell us if you think DJ Envy’s behaviour was disrespectful in the comments below.

T.I. & Boosie BadAzz Run Into Eachother After Recent Beef

T.I. and Boosie BadAzz ran into each other at an airport, as caught by a photo that began circulating on social media, Sunday night. The meet-up seems to have come after the two engaged in a public feud throughout recent months. No further details about T.I. and Boosie’s run-in were provided.

Despite a lack of context, people had plenty to say about the picture. “Boosie always dressed up as a 19 year old who be taking off guards at a gas station,” one user joked on Instagram. Another theorized, “Boosie tryna get that n***a to be in one of his films.” One more joked, “Why TI standing there like n***a don’t hit me.”

T.I. and Boosie’s spat began after the former admitted to snitching on his cousin to avoid charges years ago. Afterward, Boosie went on VladTV and revealed that he scrapped a collaborative album with T.I. because of the alleged snitching. T.I. later claimed that his comments were taken out of context.

“It came from a conversation that my partner and I were having,” T.I. said at the time. “That conversation was, ‘Hey bro, if me and you catch a case together and I die before you, it’s mine.’ He was like ‘Nah, I can’t do that.’ [I said] ‘Yes you can. It’s mine. Why can’t you? I don’t understand it.’ He said, ‘Nah, I can’t do it.’ You know what I mean? He said, ‘I can’t really say nothing about anybody who do, but I can’t do it.’ So off of that conversation, I created a set of circumstances. You know what I mean? And I thought that the embellishment was clear when I said I talked to my cousin and he told me.” T.I. also shared official documents from the time in an attempt to prove his innocence. Things at least seem to have settled down between the two artists as of now. Check out the viral photo of the two of them below.

Jake Paul Goes Scorched Earth On KSI Over Recent Controversy

Jake Paul and KSI have been in a longstanding feud. Overall, both of these men are YouTube stars who have entered the boxing world. KSI has fought twice against Logan Paul, with one draw and one victory. Additionally, Paul is a superstar at this point, although he did lose his last fight against Tommy Fury. At this point, there are all sorts of rumblings that they might get to fight each other. Both of these men have been going back and forth on social media over the last few months, however, there is still no fight in sight.

Recently, KSI found himself at the center of a controversy. While appearing in a Sidemen video on YouTube, KSI ended up using a racial slur that is used against South Asian people. Subsequently, KSI took to social media where he apologized for what went down. Despite the apology, Jake Paul jumped on the opportunity to kick KSI while he was down. In the tweet down below, you can see that Paul went off on the YouTuber. He urged his rival to be better and to start thinking about charities he can donate to.

Jake Paul Speaks

“Fake guy with fake apologies every other week,” Paul wrote. “I hope you take this more serious than taking a break off social media so you can focus on training and then reappearing two weeks before your fight saying you’re a new man. Meet with British South Asian community leaders, get with the right charities and give back. I made my own mistakes in my early 20s but we are too old for this behavior. I look forward to knocking you the fuck out on behalf of all South Asians around the world. You 30 year old prick.”

At this point, Jake Paul is clearly trying to play dirty. Using a rival’s controversy to his advantage isn’t exactly the definition of “class.” However, this is one of the reasons why Paul is able to sell fights. He knows how to build tension, and it is something that promoters love. Let us know whether or not you think these two will ever get in the ring, in the comments down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news from around the sports world.

DJ Drama Denies Alleged Feud With DJ Khaled & Funk Flex

DJ Drama says that he doesn’t have a feud with DJ Khaled or Funk Flex as has been rumored. Drama discussed the relationship between the three during an interview on Sway in the Morning. Additionally, Drama says he wouldn’t even say there’s a rivalry between the producers.

“Shoutout to Khaled. Shoutout to Flex,” Drama told Sway on the show. “One thing about all of us is, when we put these projects together and we come with these collaborative projects — like this shit ain’t easy for nobody. It’s not a walk in the park, it’s a lot of work. It’s a lot of dedication. It is not an easy thing to do. So, for people listening who questions any of us. It takes a lot. It’s an amazing skill to be in this position. To be able to put albums out and consistently. The three of us that you mentioned we have multiple albums under our belts. Not even like this its one. This is my sixth album outside of the 250 mixtapes that I have done.”

DJ Drama With DJ Khaled

From there, Sway explained that he views hip-hop as a “competitive sport.” He asked Drama, “Now talk about the rivalry. Is there a rivalry between you and Khaled? You and Flex?” Drama responded, “Nah, there’s no rivalry. I mean, first off Flex is someone I grew up inspired by — looking up to — somewhat of the blueprint in so many aspects. He was on radio. He was on television. You couldn’t open up a magazine without seeing an endorsement without him. He was putting out albums.”

He continued: “Now, that Flex is a peer and a friend of mine, that’s one of those things that if I were to tell the young 13, 14-year-old kid who was aspiring to be a DJ that one day I’d be standing side-by-side with Flex — I wouldn’t believe it.” Check out Drama’s appearance on Sway in the Morning below.

Erica Banks & Finesse2tymes Feud Continues, She Claims His “Thang Wasn’t Thangin’”

Last September, 24-year-old Erica Banks proudly showed off a new man on her Instagram page – Memphis rapper Finesse2tymes. At the time, many labelled the two rising stars a very complimentary duo, though their short-lived romance proved that to be untrue. This past weekend, things once again heated up between the exes as the 90 Days artist dished about their breakup on The Breakfast Club.

“You know, I’m a man! When I wake up in the morning, my woman get up, ‘cuz it’s time to cook, it’s time to have some sex, it’s time to clean up,” Finesse told Charlamagne and DJ Envy. “When you get up and get on your phone, I don’t like that. Don’t get straight on your phone when you around a man.” Seeing as she’s allegedly chronically online, it wasn’t long before Banks clapped back at her former lover’s comments.

Erica Banks Taunts Her Ex with a Bootylicious Video

Not only did she repost a video clip of the Memphis native’s comments on her Story, but the “Buss It” hitmaker also hopped on Instagram Live to tell her side of the story. “With Finesse, he wants a servant,” Banks explained. “This n*gga want a servant who can get on they knees and kiss his toes. I’m just not that girl! It’s somebody out there for him to do that, it just ain’t me.”

Shortly after that, a diss post aimed at Finesse appeared on the Houston-born rap diva’s feed. In the clip, she puts her BBL on full display in a black leather two-piece set while strutting along to “How to Act” from her former man’s discography. While some accused Banks of doing too much, others praised her, seemingly leading to her latest comments about the 30-year-old.

The Shady Comments Continue

In yet another video uploaded, the 1501 artist and her friend are filmed while cooking in the kitchen, seemingly discussing Finesse’s manhood. “It sounds like the man’s thing was small,” Banks’ friend speculates while prepping food. “Well… It wasn’t what I was used to, let me just say that,” she answered. “I’m just a certain type of woman… I like that thang thangin’!” the entertainer added with a laugh. Wack 100 Agrees To “Chill Out” On J. Prince

Wack 100 says that he’s willing to “chill out” on J. Prince, after he got involved in an exchange of words with the Rap-A-Lot Records founder on social media. The update comes after J. Prince pulled Cardi B into a back-and-forth with Offset. Prince claimed that Offset once asked him to come to Los Angeles because he was “nervous” about Cardi performing in the city. She had allegedly received threats from Crips. Cardi called the comments “fairy tales” and explained that Wack 100 and Big U were “the only people that [were] there.” Wack 100 later corroborated Cardi’s explanation, prompting his feud with Prince.

Wack wrote that “@jprincerespect had nothing to do with that weekend or that issue. Shit was different back then between me and the other individual.” From there, he labeled him a “bozo” and told him to “stop lying.” He added: “It was simple a round table a understanding he cleared the way on his side and myself & the #Bompton Homies cleared it on our side. On top of that without mentioning names her management team was my brother and @offsetyrn was with me long before he met the #Bozo. #StopLying.”

Wack 100’s Comments

Wack 100 provided an update on his Instagram Story explaining that he is going to put a stop to their disagreement. “M Rock called me today from Six Deuce Brim. And I guess he got some ties to somebody on J. Prince side. So I guess somebody called M Rock, my brother from Six Deuce Brim. Michael Walton, we go back 12-years-old, juvenile hall. M Rock respectfully asked me to chill out,” he said. “Shout out to my n***a M Rock. I’ma respect you and honor what you asked me to do. Just as long as the terms is met: that they leave me alone, I’ll leave them alone.”

Wack 100 and J. Prince have feuded at numerous points over the years. Last summer, Prince labeled Wack “Officer Rat 100” due to his affiliation with 6ix9ine. He claimed that the two were “working against” Larry Hoover’s fight for freedom. Prince has also taken issue with Wack making negative comments about Nipsey Hussle, 2Pac, Master P, and others.

Freddie Gibbs Has No Interest In Ending Benny The Butcher Beef: “Those Guys Are Like Comedy”

Freddie Gibbs made it clear that he has little interest in making amends with Benny The Butcher.

The two artists developed strong chemistry on wax together with songs like, “Frank Lucas” and “One Way Flight,” but things took a turn in the past few years. Gibbs took a few shots at Benny, who later returned fire before a melee broke out at a BBQ spot in Buffalo.

The two continued to go back and forth on social media following the incident in Buffalo last spring. Unfortunately, it seems as though Freddie Gibbs is willing to take this beef with him to the grave. During a recent interview with XXL, he revealed that he “couldn’t care less” about solving their issues.

“Probably not,” he said after he was asked about the possibility of them making up.

“Just because I feel like I’m not on the level of that ghetto rap beef shit. I don’t care enough to solve a beef with a rapper,” he said. “I don’t care about the rap game and what they think about me. I’ll let them care about that.”

With a budding film career on the horizon, the Gary, IN rapper explained that he’s not focused on beefing with other artists.

“I’m so far removed from that bullshit in the streets,” he said. “I’m about to be an esteemed actor and a mogul… To me, those guys are like comedy. I make jokes of these guys like that. And that’s why guys like that want to fight because they a joke to me. I don’t even take guys like that serious.”

He added, “So, I don’t care to squash no beef with nobody. You could hate me forever, and that’s fine with me because you insignificant. In general, with anybody. I mean that for any rapper.”

In another part of the interview, Gibbs stated that he’s working on four new projects, though he didn’t reveal when they would drop. In 2022, he released his major label debut, $oul $old $eparately.

Chrisean Rock & Blueface Fight About Their Relationship Status On “Crazy In Love”

The third episode of Zeus’ Crazy In Love is quickly approaching. Those who have tuned into the show so far are curious as to what will happen next. In the premiere, Blueface was hit by his girlfriend, Chrisean Rock’s father. By next Sunday, though, he got his lick back – but not before he was additionally confronted by his partner’s older brother.

Aside from the physical fighting, we’ve also seen the usual bickering between the famous couple. Even before they were given a reality TV show, their fights were (and still are) frequently broadcast on Instagram Live. In this week’s edition of the series, it looks as though there’s only more squabbling to come.

According to a preview uploaded to @theneighborhoodtalk, Rock and the “Thotiana” rapper are having issues agreeing upon the status of their relationship.

As they sit in the nail salon, Blueface asks her, “What is the status of our relationship right now?” The entertainer quickly claps back, “Why are you asking me?” He responds, “Last time I checked, you was single.” The aggravated look left on her face after speaks volumes.

The camera then cuts to a glam session where Rock vents about her feelings. “I love him and I want to be together, but he got to figure out his life. I got n*ggas right now wanting to be my n*gga.”

As the scene shifts again, we see the Crazy In Love couple sharing a moment of affection in the house. The “Thotiana” rapper adjusts Chrisean’s hair while gazing at her lovingly. Immediately after we see her speaking with another man, saying, “I don’t know why he expects me to stay here,” seemingly speaking on the trajectory of her career.

Of course, the drama only gets more intense as Rock discovers that Blueface took a trip to Las Vegas without her. Immediately she expresses that he’s not there to gamble, but rather, to sleep with other women. This sparks a major rift between the two, with the “Rainy Days” artist sobbing in bed as she cusses her man out.

As if that weren’t already enough, the same episode will also see Rock deal with a stressful court case. In the new trailer, it sounds like she could face some serious legal trouble if things don’t go her way.

Check out Zeus‘ official trailer for Crazy In Love below, and check back later for more pop culture news updates.
