Lil Baby Sidesteps Prosecution After Felony Gun Charge Gets Dropped

Lil Baby stepped into a legal quagmire on August 26. The rapper was pulled over in Las Vegas, and police found a firearm on his person. The rapper’s mugshot went viral. Lil Baby’s attorney, Drew Findling told Billboard that he was well within his legal rights to carry a weapon. “Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit,” the lawyer stated. “We are actively investigating the facts and circumstances.” Findling’s assertion ultimately proved correct. Lil Baby is in the clear. He no longer has a felony charge hanging over him.

TMZ confirmed the ruling on October 9. Baby will not be prosecuted for carrying a concealed firearm. Furthermore, the Clark Country District Attorney has decided not to press charges against the rapper. This is an enormous break for Lil Baby, who was looking at a potential felony charge. This, of course, is not the first time the rapper has run into legal trouble. Lil Baby was arrested for reckless driving in 2019. He was also detained on suspicion of “transporting drugs” in France in 2022. He was released, but required to pay a fine. The incident took place during Fashion Week.

Clark County Didn’t Press Charges Against Lil Baby

Baby has been especially busy as of late. The rapper was not letting the possibility of a felony slow him down. He served as the executive producer on the new Tay B album, You’re Welcome. He will also appear at the Don’t Fall In Love Fest in November. The festival will take place in San Bernandino, and see Baby rap alongside stars like Chino Pacas, Sexyy Red and Kodak Black. Fuerza Regida will put on the event. DJ Akademiks and ATL Jacob also dragged Lil baby into their recent drama.

DJ Akademiks and Jacob got into a heated back-and-forth over Twitter. The disses went on for hours, before the former hopped on stream to air out his grievances. He took ATL Jacob to task for making false claims about superstar rappers. Baby was one of them. “He told me that Gunna finna die,” Ak alleged. “He told me Rick Ross lives in the hood, [Lil] Baby not like that. Future trying to hold on to some points and basically told me that they don’t f*ck with Drake.” Baby, however, steered clear of the feud.

Trump Launches New Email and Text Campaign Calling Himself a 'Political Prisoner'

After the guilty verdict was read, the Trump campaign launched emails and text messages dubbing the former president as a political prisoner.

A recently launched fundraising campaign has Trump in a Make America Great Again cap with the words “Political Prisoner” played across his body. A call to action button labeled “Stand with Trump” is included in the email.

A supporting text reads: “BREAKING FROM TRUMP: I WAS JUST CONVICTED IN A RIGGED TRIAL! I AM A POLITICAL PRISONER!”

Former president Donald J. Trump has been found guilty of all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.

The falsified records are to cover up the sex scandal with Stormy Daniels ahead of his run for the White House in 2016. Trump is the first American president to be declared a felon, a tag that comes as he is gearing up for the general election in November.

Trump is now facing a maximum of four years in prison. Judge Juan Merchan will deliver the sentence.

According to The New York Times, as Trump entered the courtroom, he was asked if he was nervous. His reply was, “I want to campaign.”

Each charge was read with a guilty verdict following 34 times. Trump was unresponsive, glaring at each juror as they confirmed their verdict.

The deliberation lasted two days. Trump will be sentenced on July 11.

Jackboy Arrested And Hit With Felony Weapon And Drug Charges

Florida rapper Jackboy is now facing some pretty serious charges following an overnight arrest. According to CBS 12 News in Florida the rapper was pulled over in Port St. Lucie last night. Police claim that he was pulled because his windows were too tinted and they could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. They also claim that they witnessed him call someone on FaceTime while driving before eventually stopping his car. They pulled over the rapper, whose real name is Pierre Delince just after 11 pm.

The police account continues, claiming that one of the detectives knew Jackboy was a convicted felon driving with a suspended license. They used that as cause to search the van where they report finding a glock-19 with an extended magazine that was loaded. They also claim to have found quantities of marijuana and cannabis-related products. Delince was taken into custody and hit with counts of possession of a weapon by a felon, use or display of a firearm during a felony, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, as well as multiple misdemeanors. Check out the police’s original report on his arrest below.

Jackboy Arrested After Overnight Traffic Stop

Jackboy is no stranger to trouble with the law, even in just the past few months. It was just in September when he was last arrested, though on much less severe charges. He was hit with allegations of burglary and cyber stalking following some kind of domestic dispute. Back in December, the rapper’s brother was shot multiple times in front of his home and left in serious condition.

Despite early reports when the story broke Jackboy himself was uninjured in the incident. Earlier this month police claimed that the beef he had with Kodak Black was the root cause of a different fatal shooting neither were involved in. What do you think of Jackboy being arrested with cannabis products and a loaded gun after a traffic stop? Do you think he could face serious time behind bars for the offenses? Let us know in the comment section below.

ASAP Rocky Pleads Not Guilty In Felony Gun Assault Case

ASAP Rocky has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. He entered his plea at a hearing in Los Angeles on Monday. A judge previously ruled in November that there was enough evidence against Rocky to warrant a trial in the shooting of his former friend and colleague, ASAP Relli. Relli accused Rocky of opening fire on him in Hollywood on November 6, 2022, while claiming that one of the bullets grazed his hand.

Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, labeled the assault allegation a “false scenario” as well as “a plain and blatant classic attempt at extortion,” in a statement to Rolling Stone. Tacopina added of Relli: “He’s a failed associate — ex-associate — of Rocky’s, and he’s jealous. He was trying to get money from Rocky. He wanted Rocky to support him, he made it clear. There were repeated attempts where he tried to ask for money in lieu of not causing problems for Rocky. That’s what he said. We have all this memorialized in text messages and otherwise, so it’s an extortion.”

Meek Mill Reveals His Criminal Record Is Officially Clean

Meek Mill’s criminal history is a complicated and infamous one, and one that dogged him for much more of his career than he deserved. Moreover, he became a face for prison reform in hip-hop and has done his part to contribute to more social change within governance, communities, and more. However, the Philly MC hadn’t fully escaped these experiences when it came to his everyday life… until very recently. During an appearance on The Morning Hustle show that will air on Friday (October 27), he revealed that authorities officially, fully, and finally cleared his criminal record for good. Rick Ross was also there to celebrate this, as they were promoting their upcoming collab album, Too Good To Be True.

“My record was still showing up as if I was a [person with felony charges], if I tried to do anything, like, normal,” Meek Mill remarked. “And the system- it took a few months to go by, but I got the letter yesterday telling me that my record is officially clean.” Of course, Rozay was also very excited, and essentially acted as his hype man for this monumental moment in his life and career. “You already know that boy Meek Mill record clean!” Rick Ross expressed.

Meek Mill Announces His Clean Criminal Record: Watch

Furthermore, this is fitting, considering that back in January of 2023, Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolf issued the DC4 MC an official pardon. “The Board of Pardons, after full hearing, upon due public notice, and in open session, have recommended to me, in writing, with the reason therefor, the pardon of the said Robert R. Williams,” Meek Mill’s certificate of pardon reads. “[This] recommendation and reasons have been filed in the office of the Lieutenant Governor. Given under my hand and the Great Seal of the State, at the City of Harrisburg, this 12th day of January in the year of our Lord 2023. By the governor, Tom Wolf.”

“I have taken this process very seriously,” Wolf shared in a statement. “Reviewing and giving careful thought to each and every one of these 2,540 pardons and the lives they will impact. Every single one of the Pennsylvanians who made it through the process truly deserves their second chance, and it’s been my honor to grant it. A record prevents positive forward motion in a person’s life, and can spark a repetitive cycle of defeat. I firmly believe that with restored rights, pardoned Pennsylvanians prove themselves by stepping up and giving back to our communities.” Congratulations to Meek Mill, and for more news and the latest updates on him, keep checking in with HNHH.

Logan Paul Claims Dillon Danis Incriminated Himself During Face-Off Interview

Logan Paul has made the bombshell claim that Dillon Danis admitted to breaching federal law during their face-off interview. Speaking on Instagram, Paul alleged that Danis had asked DAZN to make several notable cuts to their face-off interview. “He made them cut his stuttering and stumbling over his sentences, looking like a fucking idiot. He made them cut him lying about having some photo and multiple other lies. And most importantly, he made them cut him incriminating himself in a federal crime. I have the version, I have a little clip I’ve assembled and I’ll put that out tomorrow. But I guess he was right, that shit was edited. But don’t worry Dillon, the people are going to see it.”

Unless Paul is about to reveal something previously unheard of, this likely refers to the alleged violations of revenge porn or hacking laws that Danis committed while trolling Paul’s fiancee Nina Agdal. Danis responded on Twitter minutes after the video was published. “Between lawsuits and snitching, this pussy is straight up rat. Can’t defend himself or his hoe, so he has to involve the law. What a coward.” Furthermore, Danis spent the morning posting more memes and images of Agdal or relating to Agdal.

Nina Adgal’s Lawsuit Against Dillon Danis, Explained

If you have forgotten, Danis is currently being sued by Paul’s fiancee, Nina Agdal. Agdal’s suit states that she has suffered humiliation, emotional distress, and reputational damage as a result of Danis’ 250+ posts about her. Furthermore, she appeared to invoke state and federal “revenge porn” legislation in response to a nude image of Agdal Danis posted on August 11. “Danis posted the photograph — entirely uncensored — from his X (Twitter) account, without Plaintiff’s consent,” Agdal’s suit read. “Later that day, Danis reposted the explicit photograph in order to maximize the number of views it would receive.” Additionally, Agdal claims that Danis only deleted the post in question because the fight’s promoter threatened to cancel the bout if he didn’t.

Furthermore, Agdal’s suit also addresses a video Danis posted in which she talks about needing sex. Agdal claims that this video was stored “deep in her Snapchat archives” and claims that Danis had hacked [her] personal account or had obtained the private video from someone who had done so.” Agdal is seeking unspecified damages as well as a minimum of $150,000 per proven violation of federal law. In the latest update to the lawsuit, Danis no-showed a court hearing on September 19, meaning Agdal’s restraining order against him posting “sexually explicit” images of her is now in full effect.

Polo G Delays His New Album Following Arrest Last Month

Polo G was originally intending to release his new album very soon. The album is called Hood Poet and was originally due to arrive on September 15. The album is sure to be one of the biggest of the year when it eventually does drop. Polo has debuted three straight albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. His last two releases have both debuted in the top 2 with his 2021 album Hall Of Fame hitting the number one spot on the chart in 2021. He began the journey to his new era last month when he dropped the lead single to the album “Barely Holdin’ On.”

About a week after that song dropped, however, everything in the immediate future changed for Polo G. His home was raided by police in connection with a robbery, and while he attempted to clarify the situation via his attorney, that turned out to only be the beginning. Just a few days later the news broke that Polo and his brother had been arrested and charged with multiple felonies. Included in the charges are kidnapping, assault, or robbery. While they made bail shortly after, clearly Polo is anticipating more legal drama coming forward. As a result he’s delaying his upcoming album.
