Erica Mena Rips Baby Daddy Safaree, Revealing Has Not Seen His Kids In Six Months Contrary To Interview

Erica Mena and Safaree’s relationship continues to make headlines after the two divorced in 2022. On Saturday (Dec. 14) Mena responded to claims made by Safaree in a recent interview that he has been absent in his children’s lives because he is dealing with Mena legally for visitation. When she got word, Mena rushed to Shade Room’s Instagram account to say, “That’s a lie.” “The truth to one of the many lies is… it’s actually six months—a half a year,” she wrote, referring to Safaree’s allegations.

She continued with a promise to expose her side of the story before the new year. “Before I walk into 2025, I promise you all will know the whole truth. And it won’t be edited, fabricated, or fake stories either. Y’all know I don’t do interviews with just anybody, so this sit-down will be explosive.” Safaree spoke on the situation with Keyshia Ka’oir. “I refuse to go to her house to pick up the kids until this thing is settled on paper, and I know, ‘This is my time,’” Safaree explained. He described the situation as “unstable,” saying he was waiting for a legal agreement to establish a clear custody schedule.

Erica Mena and Safaree married in 2019 before announcing their divorce in 2021 and finalizing it in dramatic fashion in 2022. The video of Mena’s outrage over Safaree’s child support obligations continues to surface across social media. In October, Safaree posted a video showing Mena physically attacking him in front of their children. Mena responded to the video with, “Posting videos from 2023, yet in May 2024, you were begging for me back. If it was so traumatic for you, why were you on my ring camera from May 4–7, pleading for me to take you back? Make it make sense.”

As tensions between the former couple remain high, both have taken to social media to air grievances, fueling an already volatile situation. The public feud underscores the complexities of their ongoing legal and personal battles. Erica Mena isn’t the only ex that Safaree is annoying in 2024. He bought a ticket to Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 tour and recorded the experience to share with fans on social media. MInaj acknowledge Safaree’s antics on her radio show. Safaree Samuels Reveals Why He Hasn’t Seen His Kids With Erica Mena In Months

Safaree Samuels says he hasn’t seen his kids in four months and reflected on his co-parenting relationship with Erica Mena during an interview on the All Things Keyshia Ka’oir podcast. In doing so, he explained that he’s waiting on the court to settle custody arrangements and also feels uncomfortable picking them up from Mena’s home. Together, the two share a son, Legend, and a daughter, Safire.

“I want it to be like okay if it’s Fridays I pick them up from school, then Monday’s I bring them back to school and then it’s like okay that’s what it’s going to be,” Samuels said, as caught by The Shade Room. He added that the length of time since he’s seen them “does bother him.” Additionally, he fired back against accusations on the internet of being a “deadbeat dad.” He said: “I really don’t let it to get me, because I know what’s really going on and you know, deadbeats ain’t paying what I’m pay in lawyer fees. It’s so expensive and I hate it so much and I just want it to be black and white, ‘hey look, let’s just let it be this.’ The only people that are benefiting from this are the lawyers.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Samuels discussed his viral appearance at Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour event in Miami. “I’m not a jealous person. I’m not no hater, cause I’m still doing good I don’t gotta worry about nothing. I don’t need you for nothing,” Safaree explained. Fans had been shocked to see Minaj’s ex enjoying himself at the concert.

Lately, things have gotten heated between Safaree and his ex-wife Erica Mena. Earlier this week, Mena exposed Safaree for trying to lower his monthly child support payments despite allegedly only seeing his kids 16 times this year. He went on to share security footage which appears to show Mena allegedly assaulting him physically in front of their children. “I have to put myself first,” Safaree explained upon unveiling the security footage. “Because I’m either gonna end up in jail or worse because Im dealing with someone who’s anger management is nonexistent.”

In response, Mena went on a lengthy Instagram rant, in which she accused Safaree of having allegedly “violated her body” shortly before the footage was captured. “I wanted answers on why he would put my health in jeopardy but he’s not admitting that part,” she wrote in part. Erica Mena Alleges That Safaree “Violated Her Body” In Scathing IG Rant

Erica Mena and Safaree have turned up the heat throughout the week. The Love & Hip Hop stars have always been ready to go when it comes to public spats. The allegations that have been made, however, and the dirty laundry that has been shared, reached a whole new level on October 16. Safaree posted a compilation of security footage in which Mena physically assaulted him. The internet was horrified, and then Erica Mena fired back with a scathing Instagram rant. She leveled serious allegations at Safaree in return.

Erica Mena alleged that all of the footage Safaree posted of her was from 2023. She also stated that one of the instances in which she was seen hitting him was not given proper context. The reality star alleged that Safaree had “violated her body” shortly before the footage was captured, and she felt as though she was defending herself. “The one of me being in raged [sic] was because he violated my body. I wanted answers on why he would put my health in jeopardy but he’s not admitting that part.” Erica Mena had a ton more to say on the matter. She alleged that Safaree dropped the restraining order he got against her because he wanted to get back together.

The Love & Hip Hop star wrote that Safaree got on his knees and “begged” to get back together. She alleged that their kids bore witness to this. It’s worth noting that some of the footage Safaree provided saw Mena strike him with their kids present. Erica Mena provided specific dates in which Safaree came and allegedly asked to get back together. She also accused the producer of gaslighting her and making her feel as though she’s the issue. Interestingly, enough, Mena brought the rant back to the topic that started the conflict in the first place: child support.

Safaree requested that his child support payments be lowered due to his diminished income. Erica Mena took the producer to task for this request. She alleged that Safaree has gone months without paying his child support. The reality star also alleged that she had to get the department of child support to literally take the money from Safaree’s account. Erica Mena concluded her multi-part rant by attacking Safaree’s parenting. She castigated him for being an absentee father. She also criticized him for leaking footage that will cause “trauma” to both her and their children.

Safaree Gets Attacked By Erica Mena In Shocking Home Security Footage

Safaree Samuels and Erica Mena have never had the smoothest relationship. The Love & Hip Hop stars have made drama part of their brand for years. The drama, however, has gotten increasingly serious in the past few weeks. Safaree shocked social media followers when he leaked security footage in which Mena gets physically violent with him. The security footage was cobbled together from different times, and one of the incidents appears to have taken place in front of their children.

The footage shows Erica Mena shoving Safaree and breaking property inside their home. The latter felt that he needed to share the footage in order to properly illustrate to the public what he’s been dealing with. “I have to put myself first,” he told his followers. “Because I’m either gonna end up in jail or worse because Im dealing with someone who’s anger management is nonexistent.” Safaree also turned some of the blame on himself. He claimed he should have been more aware of Erica Mena’s anger issues well before they started a family together. “When you have children with someone,” he explained. “I should have just noticed certain things when it came to parenting.”

The latest spat between Safaree and Erica Mena stemmed from child support payments. Safaree send Mena a request to get his monthly payments lowered from $4K. The producer also demanded that Mena help to pay off some of his legal fees. He argued that he makes less money than he did when the initial child support amount was agreed upon. Furthermore, Safaree claimed that he watched his children an estimated 3-4 weeks at a time instead of the prescribed 12 days. Erica Mena did not take to this request positively.

The Love & Hip Hop star proceeded to drag Safaree for trying to lower his monthly payments. She also posted a calendar that allegedly showed the amount of days that Safaree had spent with their children in the past year. Mena posits that the number is significantly lower that the producer suggested. “Imagine trying to detect CS from your BM,” she wrote in a since deleted IG post. “When that’s they get from you since he skips out on birthdays and Christmas by choice… You only seen your kids 16 times this whole year so far.” Mena has yet to respond to the leaked security footage.

Erica Mena Drags Safaree For Trying To Lower Child Support Payments

Erica Mena is no stranger to dragging her ex-husband Safaree online, and this week has been no exception. Yesterday (October 15), In Touch reported that Safaree petitioned to lower his monthly child support payments in June of last year. At the time, he argued that he could no longer afford the $4305 per month they agreed to in 2022. Reportedly, this number was based on his $61,157 monthly income and her monthly income of $41,289.

He claimed there had been a “significant change” to their custody agreement, however, as “he is no longer a full-time talent on Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta.” Reportedly, he’s not earning what he used to because of this, and allegedly because of his ex. Safaree’s lawyers accused Mena of an “extensive public disparagement campaign against” him. They alleged that he suffered a “significant loss of income” as a result.

Safaree accused Mena of having “attacked his parenting skills without reason,” calling him a “deadbeat,” and more. He also alleged that he’s had the children in “his physical custody on average 3-4 weeks consistently during his time.” Now, Mena has fired back by sharing a photo of a calendar that shows how many days he’s allegedly seen their kids this year.

Multiple Women Claim They Had Close Relationship With Rich Homie Quan

Rich Homie Quan’s death is still being processed by the world. The circumstances in which he was found, and the uncertainty regarding his death has hit fans hard. The same goes for those who knew Quan personally. He was well liked by everybody he knew in the music industry and beyond. Evidently, extremely well liked. The rapper’s death has led to multiple women going on social media and sharing photos of them with Rich Homie Quan. Furthermore, these women claim to have had close relationships with the rapper before his death.

It’s getting tricky to keep track of all the women at this point. One of them posted multiple photos and videos of her and the rapper getting cozy with each other. One photo, in particular, sees Rich Homie Quan kissing the woman in the mirror while she takes a selfie. The woman, who goes by the IG handle @biggbritt13, penned a touching message to Quan as well. “We know everything about each other,” she wrote. “Idc what nobody has to say you was my everything wah am I supposed to do.” The woman went on to allude to knowing Rich Homie Quan better than anybody else, “relationship or not.”

A second women got on TikTok to explain how she met Rich Homie Quan. She goes by the handle @lilafromval, and she claimed to have gotten close to the rapper after an episode of 20-v-1. “I lost a great friend today,” she wrote. “Your gone but will never be forgotten.” The comment section flooded with fans criticizing the woman for overstepping, so she decided to clarify. She posted a video with a very clear message to angry commenters: she was not romantically involved with Quan. She even made reference to the woman who kicked off this unexpected trend: Erica Mena. “I’m not Erica,” she asserted.

Erica Mena, of Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta fame, posted some very intimate photos/videos of her and Quan. Like those we already mentioned Mena was heartbroken by the rapper’s death and waxed poetic about the special times they had together. Akbar V Claims Rich Homie Quan And Erica Banks Had “Secret” Relationship

The death of Rich Homie Quan has rocked the music world. There’s a collective sense of shock, given the rapper was only 34 years old. Musical peers and social media personalities who knew Rich Homie Quan have taken to social media to express their heartbreak. Erica Mena was one of these people, but her tribute turned into a much messier situation. Akbar V, Mena’s former co-star on Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, hinted at some previously unknown info about Quan. She claimed that Quan and Mena had a “secret” relationship outside of the rapper’s family.

The whole thing started innocently enough. Erica Mena simply tweeted “Quan WTF” with four heartbreak emojis. Akbar V quote tweeted Mena and proceeded to blow up her spot. She told Mena to “delete those pics and videos out of respect for his family.” Akbar V then went into more detail about Rich Homie Quan and Mena’s relationship, alleging they had a long-standing connection. “You was a secret,” she added. “And not saying what y’all shared was fake but certain stuff should remain a secret.”

It’s a bit odd to tell someone to keep a secret and then proceed to share the secret with the world, but that’s precisely what Akbar V did. She told Erica Mena that she better be careful with what she reveals now that Rich Homie Quan is dead. “Here comes all the unwanted hate towards you that you didn’t even know existed,” she warned. “Think before you do stuff lil one.” Mena didn’t say or do anything that was incriminating before Akbar V’s post. She did, however, remove her initial post after Akbar V’s warning.

It remains to be seen whether the Quan claims are true. Mena deleting the post is a little suspicious, but the Love and Hip Hop star has a long, sordid history with Akbar V. It’s possible she just wanted to avoid conflict with the rapper. Akbar V had nothing to do with Mena getting fired from Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, but the two celebs did get into several disagreements during their shared screen time. Rich Homie Quan is survived by his girlfriend, Amber Williams, and his four children. He shared his two youngest with Williams, who made the fateful 911 call after the rapper died.

Earlier this week, Erica Mena took to Instagram Live to unleash a fiery rant on Ray J. During her rant, she went in on him, Princess Love, Monica, and more. “Talk your s**t lil n***a,” she said. “I probably wasn’t supposed to say that… Stop playing with me. All of y’all motherf******s. I’m not on that…”

This prompted a lengthy response from Ray J, who shared a clip from the Live on Instagram yesterday. In his caption, he accused her of being racist. He also brought up her viral altercation on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta, which saw her call her co-star Spice a “monkey.” Ray J even took the opportunity to mention Mena’s ex Safaree, who she frequently criticizes online.

For obvious reasons, this earned Mena a great deal of backlash from viewers and got her suspended from the show.
