Grimes Is Considering Elf Ear Surgery And Elon Musk Isn’t A Fan Of It

In some couples, there’s one person who wishes they looked differently while the other loves their partner just the way they are. That may be the case with one of the most prominent couples in the world. After Canadian musician Grimes tweeted her interest in elf ear surgery on Monday (August 17), her babies’ father Elon Musk made his disapproval clear in a public response on Twitter.

The musician revealed she’d made an appointment with a plastic surgeon two years prior and wondered what the people would want to see. “Any face mods y’all think would look good on me?” Grimes tweeted. The post that drew the Tesla CEO to the timeline was her earnest inquiry about the riskiness of elf ear surgery.

“Also, has anyone done elf ear mods with a good outcome? Im scared about ear cartilage having a hard time healing. Especially as a musician this surgery seems risky but I’ve wanted it my whole life. Curious about peoples experiences !” Musk enthusiastically replied with “The downside of elf ear surgery probably outweighs the upside” on Tuesday, August 17.

It appears Grimes was able to take it in stride, following it up with a complaint about how she was born in the wrong generation.

ICYMI: Donald Trump Labels Elon Musk as a “Bullsh*t Artist” and Calls Out His Twitter Deal

Donald Trump Labels Elon Musk as a "Bullsh*t Artist" and Calls Out His Twitter Deal

Before Elon Musk’s Twitter deal went sour, one of the changes he stated he would bring to the platform would be reinstating Donald Trump to the platform. Trump isn’t returning that love, as he blasted the world’s richest man during a rally in Alaska.

“Elon, he’s not going to buy Twitter,” Trump said. “Where did you hear that before? From me.”

He added, “He’s got himself a mess. You know what he said the other day, ‘Oh, I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said I didn’t know that because he told me that he voted for me, so he’s another bullshit artist. He’s not going to be buying it. I looked at his contract. Not a good contract.”

On Friday, Musk announced he is backing out of the deal due to “false and misleading” statements. In April, Musk aimed to purchase the social media platform at $54.20 a share.

The Kid Laroi Reveals The Financial Advice Elon Musk, The World’s Richest Person, Gave Him

Elon Musk has some notable connections to the music world, like his relationship with Grimes and that time he and Kanye West were palling around in 2020. Last year, he also got to know Miley Cyrus when the two were on Saturday Night Live together. That week, he also spent some time with The Kid Laroi, who joined Cyrus for a performance on the show. Naturally, given that Musk is the wealthiest person in the world, Laroi asked the billionaire for advice and he got some.

In an interview on Australia’s Nova radio network (as Billboard notes), Laroi said:

“He’s like, actually a really down-to-earth just he’s just like, hanging out. So I went up, and I asked him, and he basically, yeah, he told me to invest in something that I love. Which I thought I thought was great advice. You know, obviously, you like you expect someone to give you like an entire plan. All right, that’s what you do. But then I, I walked away realizing like, ‘Damn, that is probably the best financial advice you could give anyone,’ because I mean, if you don’t believe in something, then how is everybody else gonna believe in it? He could tell me something to invest in whatever. But if I don’t believe in it, then why would I do it, you know?”

Meanwhile, Laroi is ramping up a new era, as he released “Thousand Miles” last month.

Snoop Dogg Jokes About Buying Twitter, Twitter Reacts

Snoop Dogg Featured

Snoop Dogg had the internet in a stir over the weekend when he appeared to throw his hat in the ring to buy Twitter. It came after Elon Musk tweeted his plan to buy the platform is “temporarily on hold” even though he’s “still committed” to following through with the deal.

Snoop Dogg tweeted saying he might have to buy Twitter now.

Elon Musk tweeted fire emojis in response.

In a thread, the legendary rapper said his first line of business would be to get free internet connections on airplanes. He also said he’s fed up with how the app verifies bots who bug him in his direct messages. Snoop also said he’d immediately give everyone a blue checkmark.

Snoop then started the hashtag #WhenSnoopBuysTwitter and Twitter reacted with their wildest out of the box suggestions for the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper.

Elon Musk Responds To Snoop Dogg’s Wild Plan To Buy Twitter

A few days ago, Elon Musk announced his acquisition of Twitter was temporarily on hold as he awaits more information about how many of the platform’s accounts are spam or fake. As the purchase is paused, Snoop Dogg sees an opportunity to swoop in and buy Twitter himself and Musk has thoughts about the rapper’s mission.

On Friday, Snoop laid out his plan, most elements of which are questionable at best. He wrote over the course of multiple tweets, “May have 2 buy Twitter now. Gonna replace the board of directors with Jimmy from my corner Fish Fry, Tommy Chung and tha guy with the ponytail on CNBC. First line of business. Free internet on airplanes!!! 29 dollars for 1 hour is bullsh*t. Everyone gets a blue checkmark. Even tha bots with 10 letters in their name that hit you in DMs n just say ‘Hello’. Nah f*ck those bots. #WhenSnoopBuysTwitter …”

Yesterday, Musk responded with two fire emojis, to which Snoop replied, “You bring the fire I’ll bring the smoke!!”

Of course, Snoop is most likely joking about his plan, given the ridiculousness of some of his ideas; the free airplane WiFi is a good one, though, although that’s not really something he could change owning Twitter. Furthermore, buying Twitter is expensive, outside the price range of even Snoop, whose net worth is estimated at $150 million.

It Looks Like Even Twitter Jail Can’t Keep Azealia Banks Off Twitter Now That Elon Musk Is Buying It

In 2020, controversial rapper Azealia Banks had her Twitter account suspended. It was after a slew of transphobic tweets, which were nothing out of the sort for her. It was also not her first time being suspended; she was known for getting into fights with stars like Lana Del Rey and others.

Well, now that Elon Musk has acquired Twitter and all hell has been breaking loose on the bird app, Banks has made another Twitter account. She shared this news on her Instagram, posting her new handle @Azealiaishere with the caption: “Oh girlssssssssss lmao we are in this b*tch.” She’s yet to make a tweet yet, but surely she’ll be wreaking havoc soon.

Despite Banks’ chaos, the “212” rapper used Instagram to condemn Kanye West’s actions in February: “Y’all are making way too many excuses for Kanye. This is the second time he has publicly bullied North West. First with the abortion sh*t, and now putting her on blast on his Instagram page as if she’s some sort of criminal.” She continued, “Kanye had no problem with that magazine cover where North had on a f*cking belly top and purple eyeliner with her little buds showing thru the shirt, he thought it was fashion. You all said nothing.”

DDG Journeys To Outer Scape With Gunna In Their Galactic Video For ‘Elon Musk’

DDG kicked off 2021 by releasing his third project Die 4 Respect, an 11-track effort that arrived with contributions from Lil Yatchy, Coi Leray, Pnb Rock, 42 Dugg, and more. For the remainder of the year, DDG worked on promoting the project and helping it reach new corners, and as a result, it helped him land a spot in the 2021 XXL Freshman Class. There, he found himself besides names like Blxst, Pooh Shiesty, Morray, and more. Fast forward to 2022, and DDG is back to work with new music and an example of that comes with his new video for “Elon Musk” with Gunna.

In the new visual, DDG decides to take his talents to outer space. He plays the role of an astronaut who hops in a rocket ship and journeys to space complete with a blunt in hand and a woman beside him. Elsewhere in the video, Gunna stands beside him strapped a weapon of his own to deliver his verse on the song.

The new visual comes a month after DDG and Gunna dropped their “Elon Musk” collaboration. Prior to that, DDG concluded his 2021 year with the celebratory “Rucci” while Gunna kicked off his 2022 year with his stellar No. 1 album DS4EVER.
