When Will Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs’ Come Out On Spotify?

Drake might well be one of the most consistently productive rappers of his generation, but that hasn’t stopped every one of his album releases from being events. No one ever wants to miss out on a Drake album release, and his upcoming eighth studio album, For All The Dogs, appears to be no exception.

When Will Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs’ Come Out On Spotify?

After months of teasing and at least one release date delay, Drake’s latest album is scheduled for release on all platforms — including Spotify — on October 6. However, with Drake, you can never be 100 percent sure that he’ll make his release deadline, even though he’s usually been pretty good at getting them in under the wire.

Which songs will comprise the album remains to be seen, though. While he’s already released a pair of singles this year, “Search & Rescue” and “Slime You Out” featuring SZA, only the latter has been promoted as an official album single. However, Drake did share the album’s avant-garde cover, which was allegedly drawn by his six-year-old son, Adonis.

Originally due near the end of September, For All The Dogs was pushed back to allow Drake time to finish his It’s All A Blur Tour. We’ll find out if the wait was worth it on Friday, 10/6.

Screen Shot 2023 10 04 at 9.35.08 AM

Drake will celebrate his upcoming album, For All The Dogs, hours before its worldwide release during a new episode of his SiriusXM series, Table For One. The new episode will air live on Drake’s Sound 42 channel this Thursday (October 5) at 9pm ET on SiriusXM.

For those who want to catch it again or can’t tune in live, the entire episode will be available to stream anytime on the SiriusXM app and web player after its debut and will replay on Sound 42 during the times below.

Initially scheduled to come out last summer, For All The Dogs marks Drake’s first full-length project since Her Loss (2022), his collaboration with 21 Savage. The rap legend shared he postponed the original release in order to finish his It’s All a Blue tour.

The long-awaited album is tied to Drake’s first poetry book, Titles Ruin Everything: A Stream of Consciousness, released last June. While he has yet to announce the For All The Dogs tracklist, he did reveal that longtime collaborator Nicki Minaj will appear on it and that his son, Adonis, created the album art.

SZA Says Her Past Romance with Drake Was ‘Childish’

SZA Among Nomination Leaders for 2023 MTV Video Music Awards

SZA reflected on her romance with “Slime U Out” collaborator Drake, calling it “youth vibes.” Speaking with Rolling Stone, SZA said their romance occured when they both were “really young.”

“It wasn’t hot and heavy or anything,” SZA said. “It was like youth vibes. It was so childish.”

Now, SZA has a new idea of love: “I want to stunt like me when I meet the person I envision me being with. I envision them falling in love with me the way I am. But I guess it’s like I have to release that idea. Maybe it’s because I don’t know if I’ll like the way I am later?”

You can read the full feature from Rolling Stone below.

Drake‘s new single, “Slime You Out,” featuring SZA, has made a No. 1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Proving Charlamagne Tha God was wrong about his assessment of the song.

The song is the 12th No. 1 single for Drake, bringing him into a tie for fifth most all time. It is the second for SZA, who also is in the Top 3 with the acoustic version of her hit “Snooze” with Justin Bieber.

According to Luminate, “Slime You Out” tallied an impressive 32.6 million streams, garnered 5.2 million radio airplay audience impressions, and achieved 2,000 downloads in the week ending Sept. 21.

Drake now only trails Michael Jackson, Rihanna, Mariah Carey, and The Beatles. Once he tops the last one, his line on “Going Bad”: “I have more slaps than The Beatles” will officially ring true.

Drake’s most recent No. 1 was “Jimmy Cooks” from the Honestly, Nevermind album.

Lil Yachty Responds To Social Media Roasting His Tattoos

Lil Yachty found himself being the bud of the joke, fully aware of the fact that he’s being cooked online. In the world of entertainment, there’s a certain charm in being able to handle jokes with a light-hearted spirit and even share a laugh at one’s own expense. Recently, the rapper became the center of attention on social media. A user reposted a pic of him shirtless, revealing the several tattoos inked across his body. Alongside this image, the caption read, “rappers spend so much money on jewelry but never on a good tattoo artist.” Yachty, demonstrating his sense of humor and self-awareness, decided to join in on the fun and playfully responded to this caption with a funny video clip. The video was a 5 second clip of boxer Adrien Broner, who humorously said: “Oh yeah, ain’t gonna lie, I’m getting cooked.”

The online community wasted no time in chiming in with their own quips and comments. One user, with a touch of sarcasm, couldn’t resist typing, “Bro needs to request a refund for those tattoos.” “Could be the placement btw idk they look off to me, they prob got meaning for him tho,” someone else wrote. “That’s a fact, him and Drake be letting Adonis tattoo them with a Crayola gun,” another joked.

Fans Comment On Yachty’s Tatts

However, it’s clear that Lil Yachty was not only willing to acknowledge the playful jabs but also engage in the online convo. In today’s social media-driven age, where public figures are under a constant magnifying glass, the ability to handle criticism and occasional roasts with grace and humor is a valuable trait. Lil Yachty’s response to this particular situation showcased his humility. And it also highlighted the camaraderie that can exist between artists and their audience, even in moments of gentle teasing.

Meanwhile, it’s safe to assume that Yachty isn’t regretting any decisions. Especially when it comes to his tattoos. The rapper recently showed off his OVO Owl tattoo, signifying his locked in relationship with Drake. Furthermore, it’s worth noting that the world of tattoo artistry is highly subjective. There’s varying opinions on what constitutes a “good” tattoo. What might be perceived as a questionable choice by some could hold deep personal meaning for someone else. Lil Yachty’s openness to this kind of dialogue demonstrates an understanding of the subjectivity inherent in art and self-expression. This fosters an atmosphere where differences in taste can be discussed in a lighthearted and respectful manner.

Sexyy Red Tells Theo Von About The Watch Drake Bought Her

Drake has been gifting generously all summer throughout his “It’s All A Blur” tour. Last month he surprised one of the breakout rap stars of 2023. He hooked Sexyy Red up with a diamond Cartier watch that has fans online drooling. “Thank you Drakeeeeeeee ice me df out den big boss sht I appreciate dat big dawg,” Red said in the caption of an Instagram post showing it off. While many fans saw it as some kind of romantic gesture, especially after Drake called Red his “rightful wife” earlier this year, that doesn’t appear to be the case. In a recent interview, Red revealed that none of the rappers she’s met so far have made any moves on her romantically.

During another new interview, this time with Theo Von, she shows off the watch even more. In the clip, they both absolutely gush over how uniquely indulgent the piece is. Fans in the comments of a repost of the clip make pretty similar jokes as almost any video including Sexyy Red. “Theo Von interviewing Young Thug something I wasn’t expectin,” the top comment reads. It’s yet another reference to how many people think Thugger and Red look a lot alike. Others made similar jokes like “Drake missing thugga.” One commenter turned it on its head, comparing Theo to recent Hot 100 sensation and breakout star Peso Pluma. “For a quick second, I thought Sexy was getting interviewed by Peso Pluma,” his comment read. Check out the entire clip below.

Sexyy Red is also included on the soundtrack for the HBO show Rap Sh!t‘s second season. She teamed up with Raedio on the single “No Panties” from the soundtrack. What do you think of Sexyy Red’s new interview clip showing off a watch Drake gave her? Let us know in the comment section below.

What Has SZA Said About Dating Drake?

Back in 2020, Drake shocked the world when he revealed a past relationship with SZA on 21 Savage and Metro Boomin’s Savage Mode II standout “Mr. Right Now.” SZA later confirmed the connection, but aside from Drake praising SZA’s album SOS last year and her attending his It’s All A Blur Tour in disguise this year, the closest they’ve ever come to discussing it was last December, when she said he had a “Regina George quality to him” after SNL roasted him for his loverboy tendencies and, more recently, when they collaborated on the toxic relationship anthem, “Slime You Out.” Today, though, SZA finally gave a little more detail in a new Rolling Stone cover story.

What Has SZA Said About Dating Drake?

SZA revealed that she had been in a long-term relationship with her high school sweetheart, but after breaking up, had a few casual romances — including with Drake in 2009. However, she says, “It wasn’t hot and heavy or anything. It was like youth vibes. It was so childish.” She credits this to both being “really young,” with Drake just starting to see his big breakout in the wake of his mixtape So Far Gone and SZA a year out from high school graduation trying to settle on a college (she eventually went with Delaware State, but dropped out in her last semester). And although the two didn’t connect in a more meaningful way, she did say last year that, “We’re cool. And we’ve always been cool… I think highly of him…He’s King Drake.”

Will Drake’s ‘For All The Dogs’ Get Delayed Again?

For month’s “Slime You Out,” rapper Drake has steadily built the buzz around his forthcoming solo album, For All The Dogs. On Saturday, July 22, the official rollout of the upcoming release began when Drake was photographed outside his hotel wearing a dog mask. Since then, he has kept his fans in the loop for each significant milestone surrounding the body of work.

Initially, supporters were led to believe that For All The Dogs would hit streaming platforms on August 25. However, during his It’s All A Blur Tour stop in Seattle, Washington, Drake told fans that he had finished the final touches. So, will the album get delayed again? Based on his latest Instagram post, Drake appears ready to go.

Yesterday (October 2), Drake uploaded a graphic to reveal that another taste of the project would be unveiled soon. “TABLE FOR ONE on SOUND 42 @siriusxm Thursday at 9 p.m. EST 🐩,” wrote Drake. Seemingly, it appears that his next single, titled “Table For One,” will be premiered on his specially curated radio show.

Through his colorful hair accessories interlocked into his braids, Drake suggested that on September 22, For All The Dogs would be made public. However, that turned out to be another misdirection. But, according to Drake’s father, Dennis Graham, and fellow rapper Lil Yachty, the wait will ultimately be worth it.
