Kanye West Roasts Drake’s UMG Label Deal On Alleged “Like That” Remix Leak

If you thought that Kanye West was going to sit idly by as the mainstream rap world goes up in flames… you may or may not be mistaken. It’s still a tough and unconfirmed call, but thanks to Adam22 and a whole lot of leaks through social media pages, it seems like Ye’s got a remix to “Like That” by Metro Boomin, Future, and Kendrick Lamar, plus some Ty Dolla $ign vocals, too. “Like That” is the song that fully blew the lid off a civil war between this trio (now alleged quintet including Rick Ross, plus many other supposed players like The Weeknd and A$AP Rocky) against Drake and… DJ Akademiks, we suppose? It really is looking like a 20v1 right now, something that Drizzy’s been able to turn in his favor.

Moreover, this alleged “Like That” remix (which Adam22 incited rumors of even further just yesterday) includes a supposed Ye verse, apparently a new Future verse, and seemingly no appearance from Kendrick Lamar, which is a very interesting omission. But that’s for another time. Here’s what the Chicago artist allegedly had to say about Drake and J. Cole, who caught a stray despite his retreat earlier in April: “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind / I can’t even think of a Drake line / Play J. Cole, get the p***y dry.” The “leaked” remix also had this set of bars, which seems to be the most interesting point of discussion for fans right now: “Where’s Lucian? Serve your master, n***a / Caught a little bag for your masters, didn’t ya? / Lifetime deal, I feel bad for n***as.”

Kanye West Takes Aim At Drake’s $400 Million UMG Deal On Supposed “Like That” Verse: Listen

Furthermore, for those unaware, Drake signed a deal with UMG (Universal Music Group, the biggest music company in the world whose CEO is Sir Lucian Grainge) with a reported $400 million value. Ye, who is no stranger to an elusive billionaire status due to his controversies, allegedly called this a “little bag” and, if this is real, seems to be clowning him for being a puppet of UMG during the VULTURES 1 artist’s current independent stretch. It’s also worth noting that Rick Ross, one of the Toronto superstar’s opponents right now, called cap on theories that this massive deal gets the OVO mogul kickback from all of his rivals’ publishing if they’re signed to UMG or to Gamma. Since that’s just as speculative as these new claims, we doubt that we’ll ever get a clear answer on any of this money talk.

Ye’s Alleged Verse & Beat Remix In CDQ

Of course, given just how relentless The Boy has been with his clap-backs at everyone who doesn’t trust him anymore, we’re sure that his former inspiration and on-and-off-again nemesis will catch some heat very soon. This is also very interesting because of the “PROBLEMATIC” MC’s previous stance on this beef, claiming that he washed both Mr. Morale and the Certified Lover Boy in the past. If this leaked “Like That” remix is actually real, then something caused a change of heart. Still, everyone’s waiting on what the Compton creative will do more than anything. For the latest news and more updates on this alleged Kanye West leak and this whole battle, come back to HNHH.

Kanye West Disses Drake & J. Cole On Alleged “Like That” Remix Leaked By Adam22: Listen

As if hip-hop’s civil war wasn’t controversial enough, it looks like Kanye West has allegedly, supposedly, and maybe picked a side in all this. Moreover, there’s a new leak spreading around the Internet of his verse on a “Like That” remix, the song from Future, Metro Boomin, and of course Kendrick Lamar that fully kicked the K.Dot versus Drake war (plus many others) into full gear. In fact, you may remember that just yesterday at press time (Friday, April 19), Adam22 claimed to have the remix in his possession and that he was barred from leaking it, something he seemingly ignored by posting the verse online. Here’s what Ye supposedly had to say about the beef: “Y’all so out of sight, out of mind / I can’t even think of a Drake line / Play J. Cole, get the p***y dry.”

Furthermore, we say “allegedly” because the obvious question is whether or not this Kanye West verse is A.I.-generated or not, something that fans seem very split about online. Of course, Drake kind of took advantage of the whole A.I. discussion debacle by using the voices of Tupac and Snoop Dogg to taunt Kendrick Lamar on “Taylor Made Freestyle.” Needless to say, this technology proved itself to be quite the dangerous tool in this feud, something we all should’ve known already. But things took an even wilder turn when Adam22 posted the alleged final version of this Ye remix with revamped production, a new Future verse, and no Kendrick at all.

Kanye West’s Alleged “Like That” Verse: Listen To The OG Leak

In addition, this supposed diss is interesting (if real) given Kanye West’s thoughts on the whole beef back when “Like That” first dropped. “EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED KENDRICK ON NO MORE PARTIES IN LA, EVERYONE KNOWS I WASHED DRAKE AT THE FREE HOOVER CONCERT,” Ye shared on IG. “EVERYONE KNOWS I BROUGHT ADIDAS INTO THIS CULTURE AND I TOOK THEM OUT, EVERYONE KNOWS LOTTA DEMNA VIRGIL JERRY KIM ALL WORKED FOR ME. I MADE YEEZUS DARK FANTASY PABLO GRADUATION THRONE 808S, I MADE RUNAWAY DEVIL IN A NEW DRESS FATHER STRETCH. I AM THE ONLY PERSON TO COME BACK TO NUMBER ONE AFTER CANCELLATION. THERE IS ONLY ONE GOAT. I STAND BY ME. MY FRIENDS CALL ME YE :).”

Adam22 Posts Alleged Final Version Of Ye’s “Like That” Remix With New Future Verse & No Kendrick Lamar Verse

However, if this remix is indeed real and gets a release and approval by at least one of its original collaborators, then it will be clear what side the Yeezy mogul is on. But as with most things Ye-related these days, he wove a very complicated web. After all, he’s apparently dealing with a battery assault investigation right now which might have him pretty distracted. With this supposed full remix of “Like That” on the cards, this is getting much wilder than most of us could’ve predicted. Either way, for the latest updates on Kanye West, Drake, J. Cole, Kendrick Lamar, and this whole situation, stay up to date on HNHH.

DJ Akademiks Thinks Drake’s New Kendrick Lamar Diss (Almost) Seals The Deal

DJ Akademiks is one of Drake’s biggest cheerleaders right now in his Kendrick Lamar beef, and one of the main sources of info that’s been sharing the latest updates on it. As such, it’s no surprise that he has some very kind things to say about the new “Taylor Made Freestyle,” which replicates Tupac and Snoop Dogg’s voices with A.I. technology to taunt the Compton lyricist. Many of them, while obviously up for debate, are no less valid as a result, but the media personality also suggested that this is starting to define Drizzy as a winner more and more, yet he still wants K.Dot to fight back and drop a response ASAP. While he doesn’t outright say this in the series of tweets below, it’s hard to think that there’s much Kendrick could do to turn him against OVO based on his remarks.

“DRAKE ON THIS N***A HEADTOP,” DJ Akademiks began his tweet storm, which you can see continue further down below, on Friday night (April 19). “Drake drops AI assisted track to Give Kendrick Lamar a pep talk to actually engage in the Beef he STARTED. WE LIVE. Ps. I heard Drake wrote the AI verses for AI Tupac and AI Snoop Dogg. this next level. his Verse is clearly real and him tho. He wrote all 3 lmao. FIGHT BACK KENDRICK LAMAR.

“DRAKE pen ready…..” DJ Akademiks continued. “He writing verses for himself and AI characters. He might need to write one for Kendrick too. Kendrick Lamar fans in shambles.. they been doing mental gymnastics tryna defend their guy for BAITING a beef and letting a n***a shoot up the block twice before he responded once. No more excuses… We aint tryna hear no response on ur album. DROP ASAP. Drake violating Kendrick Lamar ‘Now we gotta [wait] a f***in week, cuz Taylor Swift ya new Top and if you bout to drop.. she gotta approve. This girl really bout to make you act like you not in a FEUD.’

“Drake to Kendrick Lamar ‘The First one only took me only a hour or two… the next one about to bring out the coward in YOU,’” he went on. “Chris Brown dissed Quavo before Kendrick responded to Drake…. wtf… the light skin n***as keeping it hip hop. Day 7 with no Response from Kendrick Lamar yet.” Then, the former Everyday Struggle host posted Snoop Dogg’s apparent response to this whole debacle. We’ll see what else these rap personalities have to say. For more on DJ Akademiks and the latest updates on Drake and Kendrick Lamar, stay posted on HNHH.

Snoop Dogg Seems To React To Drake Using His AI Voice On Kendrick Lamar Diss

Drake went “Back To Back” on the rap game again, dropping yet another diss towards Kendrick Lamar on social media last night (Friday, April 19). Of course, probably the most notable aspect of this song is the fact that he used A.I. technology to replicate Tupac and Snoop Dogg’s voices in order to rap from their perspectives and goad K.Dot into responding ASAP. A lot of folks are debating the points that Drizzy made here, the use of this tech, when we’ll get a response (if at all), and other factors. However, one question had fans particularly interested, predicting whether it would be a positive or negative moment for the Toronto superstar: what does Tha Doggfather think of this?

Well, even though Snoop Dogg published a video in the wee hours of Saturday, April 20 (and thus, ironically enough, seemingly reacted to a lot of smoke on 4/20), it didn’t really get us any closer to knowing what he thinks of it. “They did what?” he said in the clip below with a skeptical face. “When? How? Are you sure?” Then, the West Coast legend sighed and pointed to the “Death Row” stitching on his jacket. “Y’all have a good night. And to all… *laughs* Everybody calling my phone blowing me up. What the f**k, what happened? What’s going on? I’m going back to bed, good night.”

Snoop Dogg Seemingly Addresses Drake’s Newest Kendrick Lamar Diss: Watch

As such, this doesn’t really clarify whether Snoop Dogg knew of “Taylor Made Freestyle” before its IG release, whether he co-signed the track, or whether he’s supporting his fellow L.A. native in Kendrick Lamar. There are a few conflicting elements: shouting out Death Row (a sign of respect to himself and ‘Pac), laughing (seemingly enjoying the ruckus it’s caused), not really wanting to engage just yet (which could mean anything), and Aubrey Graham himself liking the post (a salute or a jab?). We also know that the Long Beach MC is good friends with Drake and that he’s on the fence about A.I. technology, sometimes co-signing it and sometimes being more critical, particularly about Tupac A.I. But he likely also has some deep appreciation for the Compton creative, so the disrespectful nature of this usage might not just be a point on the rap beef board for him.

Drake Officially Makes “Push Ups” Available To Stream

After “Push Ups (Drop & Give Me Fifty)” by Drake was teased online, it was only a matter of time before it would hit streaming. Well, today is the day as just minutes ago, The Boy delivered the final polished version. The “twenty-v-one” diss response sees Drizzy respond to his numerous foes. The Weeknd, Future, Metro Boomin, and the main target, Kendrick Lamar are all “in a scope.”

The massive number of bars directed right at the “Like That” rapper make that clear. But to double down, the cover art hilariously shows that further. It shows the foot measurements that you will find inside of most shoe tongues. It is a reference to Drake saying, “You won’t ever take no chain off of us / How the f*** you big steppin’ with a size-seven men’s on?”

Listen To “Push Ups” By Drake

As we mentioned earlier, “Push Ups” getting a wide release was essentially imminent, but there was a sign some may have missed. According to Genius, a teaser billboard and digital banner from Spotify might have given it away. It read, “Hip-Hop is a competitive sport. Drake is on the way.” Will this be his biggest diss song of all time? We think it has a pretty good shot at that mark.

What are your thoughts on Drake releasing “Push Ups” to streaming services? Out of all the diss tracks revolving around him, is this the best one, why or why not? Does this outdo Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” verse? Will this song be as big as “Back To Back?” We would like to hear what you have to say, so be sure to leave your takes in the comments section. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Drake, his beefs, and “Push Ups.” Finally, stay with us for everything else going on around the music world.

Drake Finally Drops “Push Ups” On Streaming Services

Well, after folks were wondering whether Drake’s “Push Ups” diss would ever drop on streaming services, its awaited arrival today (Friday, April 19) shows us why. Moreover, the beat here is a little more fleshed-out than the original version that leaked, and it looks like this is just another way for him to pressure Kendrick Lamar and company to respond. Also, it’s quite interesting that Drizzy dropped the same day that Taylor Swift chose to release her new album The Tortured Poets Department considering that he previously named her on wax as his only commercial release competition. We’ll see once next week’s charts come out whether this will dethrone “Like That,” the song that ignited this whole debacle, for Billboard‘s No. 1 spot on the Hot 100, and whether either will be able to compete with the superstar songwriter.

However, we know that it might be a bit difficult on paper for Drake’s officially released version of “Push Ups” to dethrone Kendrick Lamar, Future, and Metro Boomin’s “Like That” from that top spot. After all, the song has remained at No. 1 for three weeks straight, holding up against even a new Beyoncé album and plenty of other hyped releases. But that being said… this is the 6ix God we’re talking about here, one of the most (if not the most) commercially successful hip-hop artist of all time. As such, we doubt that he will have much of a hard time finding massive commercial success with this diss track dropping on DSPs.

Elsewhere, Aubrey Graham is also doing his best to troll his opposition and goad them into trying to beat him. Some of it’s been very effective, such as his social media back-and-forths with Rick Ross. As for Drake’s attempts to elicit a reaction (or suppress one) from Kendrick Lamar, it’s a bit more up in the air considering that K.Dot is decidedly not an online person at all. We probably won’t hear from him again until he actually decides to drop something, and whether that’s a response track or something else entirely is a mystery.

Meanwhile, what do you think about “Push Ups” finally landing on streaming services? How has the track and its shots aged for you in the last week, and how would you assess the scoreboard right now considering The Boy’s gleeful Internet drama-stirring? In any case, drop your takes down in the comments section below. Also, stay logged into HNHH for the latest news and more updates on Drake.

Metro Boomin Exposed For Praising Drake In A Plethora Of Old Tweets

Metro Boomin and Drake are at odds right now. Overall, their feud has been growing for months, although it has seemingly hit its peak. Once Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake and J Cole on “Like That,” it seemed as though all bets were off. Subsequently, Drake came through with his own diss track this weekend, simply called “Push Ups.” On the song, he takes aim at Metro with one perfectly placed line. It was a humorous line, and fans are already excited to see how this is all going to play out, moving forward.

Throughout the morning, Drake has continued to take aim at Metro. Ultimately, some fans feel as though it is a weak move, especially when you consider how Drizzy can rap back, while Metro cannot. That said, with Metro under the microscope, fans have been going on his Twitter account and looking for reasons to clown on him. As it turns out, they have found a plethora of tweets from over 10 years ago, in which Metro can be seen praising the megastar. Of course, these posts are aside from the one we reported on a few hours ago.

Metro Boomin Has Some Deleting To Do

All of these tweets are exceptionally complimentary of Drake. They make it seem as though Metro was a huge Drake fan growing up. Of course, that is probably very well the case. These two have even made tons of hits together. Along the way, something went wrong, and now there seems to be some real hatred there. Hopefully, these two can talk it out and come to terms on some sort of solution.

Let us know what you think of the mess between Metro Boomin and Drake, in the comments section down below. Do you find all of this to be childish? What do you make of fans digging up old tweets from artists and celebrities? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Rick Ross Urges Lil Yachty To Take This Stance On Drake Amid OVO/MMG Beef

Out of all the beefs to pop up or resurface due to WE DON’T TRUST YOU and “Like That,” the Drake and Rick Ross battle is easily the most developed and eventful right now. Although it’s mostly just social media trolling, they’re making their animosity towards each other very clear, but one party is making a lot of claims about the other. Moreover, Rozay recently took to his Instagram Story to urge one of the Toronto superstar’s closest current collaborators to distance himself. “Yacht Put ya phone on silent lil bro.. [100 emoji],” he captioned a picture of Lil Yachty. “#BBLDRIZZY CALLING AGAIN [nose emoji] [hand emoji] [crying-laughing emoji].”

In addition, Rick Ross also had this to say for the Let’s Start Here. creative: “YACHT AKA THE PEN.” This is because of an alleged leak of Lil Yachty’s reference track for Drake, which is identical in terms of the melodic flow and lyrics to the Her Loss cut, “Jumbotron S**t Poppin.” Of course, equating this collaboration to other ghostwriting claims is quite misguided. After all, the Georgia native has both production and writing credits on this song.

Rick Ross’ Message To Drake’s “Pen,” Lil Yachty

However, what makes this situation a little more tricky is the fact that we’re talking about Drake, who fans hold in high regard as either raps’ biggest commercial juggernaut or even as one of the greatest of all time. As such, fans debated whether taking Lil Yachty’s entire reference track for himself discredits his claim to the throne, and some argued that giving credit doesn’t mean that it isn’t a bad look. Still, others stood by the idea that the 6ix God is putting on for himself and for Yachty with just one song. We’re sure that they both got some substantial cash for this song and the album’s performance, and perhaps more success than the 26-year-old would’ve found if he dropped this as a solo track.

But where do you fall on this debate: staunch credibility or lenient hit-making? What about the seemingly debunked ghostwriting claims that Aubrey’s biggest current rival Kendrick Lamar got hit with recently? Whatever the case, let us know down in the comments section below. Also, come back to HNHH for more news and the latest updates on Rick Ross, Lil Yachty, and Drake.

Drake Trolls Kendrick Lamar With Picture Of His Manager, Ponders When Diss Track Will Arrive

Drake is easily one of the biggest trolls when it comes to the hip-hop world. Overall, he came up in an era where internet trolling became the norm. Consequently, he knows how to maneuver spaces such as Instagram. Furthermore, whenever he gets into a feud, you can be sure that he is going to find clever ways to get under people’s skin. It is the price of doing business whenever you come after someone like Drizzy. As it turns out, Kendrick Lamar is beginning to find this out the hard way amid his beef with the megastar.

Over the weekend, Drake dropped his response to “Like That” in the form of a leaked track called “Push Ups.” Overall, the song was a success, with fans praising the bars throughout the joint. Now, the ball is in Kendrick’s court, and there is no diss in sight. A song actually leaked online, although it was eventually called AI. Drizzy and OVO have been refuting this fact, claiming that Lamar is just upset that the song didn’t get the reception he hoped for. This morning, the Canadian is continuing his social media assault on Lamar, this time with an Instagram story containing a photo of the rapper’s manager, Anthony Saleh.

Drake Won’t Stop

As you can see, Drake added some text to the image, saying “wonder is today the day” with some turtle emojis on either side. Clearly, he is trying to say that Lamar is taking too long with his response. This is a bit ironic, considering Drizzy took three weeks to respond to “Like That,” while Kendrick has only been given a couple of days in the aftermath of “Push Ups.” There is no telling if Lamar will respond, but there is no doubt that the pressure is on and the clock is ticking.

Let us know what you think of the feud between Kendrick Lamar and Drake, in the comments section down below. Do you feel as though Drake is doing too much right now? Will Kendrick respond today or is he chilling? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will continue to keep you informed on all of your favorite artists and their upcoming projects.

Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” Hits No. 1 On Billboard Again

Future and Metro Boomin are still reeling the success of their project We Don’t Trust You, and one song in particular is continuing to make history. The Kendrick Lamar-assisted track “Like That,” earned a number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 once again. This week marks week three on the chart. Not only have fans been loving the project, but Future and Metro returned with a brand new follow up project just last Friday. “Like That” immediately made waves in the music and hip-hop community. The track’s continued success is further highlighted by its impressive streaming numbers. With 40 million streams in the past week alone, “Like That” maintains its record as the most streamed song in the country. This achievement marks a significant milestone, as it becomes the first song in recent memory to surpass 40 million streams within its first three weeks of release.

Moreover, the song garnered significant attention and stirred headlines with Lamar’s verse on the track. Furthermore, he notably dissed both J. Cole and Drake. This one lyric sparked a handful of reactions and beefs across the hip-hop community. In fact, a lot has transpired over the weekend including an alleged leaked Drake diss response. Rick Ross, who was dissed on the alleged Drake track, took a swift response to it and claimed Drake got a nose job, for example.

However, the success of “Like That” goes beyond mere numbers and statistics. At its core, the song serves as a platform for artists to express themselves. Moreover, the impact of “Like That” extends beyond its own merits. It has been sparking discussions across the board. Moreover, J. Cole’s latest offering, “7 Minute Drill,” debuted at an impressive No. 6 on the Hot 100 charts. This was a direct response to Lamar’s apparent disses directed at himself and Drake in “Like That.” He apologized for it, however.

Moreover, it’s clear to see that there’s a lot going on in the rap community right now. As “Like That” continues to dominate the charts, it serves as a testament to the power of collaboration and creativity in the music industry. In the weeks to come, it remains to be seen if “Like That” will maintain its spot on the Billboard Hot 100. For now, fans are awaiting responses from hip-hop heavywaits to see if the beef can be settled or not. Regardless of its future trajectory, one thing remains certain: Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar’s “Like That” has made it’s mark.
