While the actual game between the Chiefs and Eagles was one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory, the internet seems to have their minds fixated on Rihanna’s performance the most. Her halftime performance even garnered more viewers than the game itself. Despite generally positive reactions from social media and Rih’s fan base, Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform where he ridiculed the Anti singer for her performance.
“EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history,” the former President wrote. “This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language. Also, so much for her ‘Stylist!’”
Kodak Black, who was in attendance at SBLVII, posted a video to his Instagram story seemingly echoing Trump’s statements. “Uncle Trump said that shit is garbage, man,” he said before he flipped the camera to show Rihanna performing.
However, this was not the first time Trump attacked Rihanna. Just days before her performance, Trump again took to Truth Social where he wrote: “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!
Trumps dislike for Rihanna probably stems from her support of Colin Kaepernick in 2016. When everything was unfolding with the former 49ers quarterback, Rihanna said in an interview that she had actually turned down performing at the Super Bowl becuase she supported Kaepernick and did not want to be a “sellout.”
In 2020, Rihanna posed for a picture in front of a graffiti-laden car where she spray painted “Fuck Trump” on it after a performance at Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo, Texas.
As relayed by The Hill, Trump gave his unsolicited opinion on Rihanna’s Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show last night, February 12.
“EPIC FAIL: Rihanna gave, without question, the single worst Halftime Show in Super Bowl history,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “This after insulting far more than half of our Nation, which is already in serious DECLINE, with her foul and insulting language.” Trump added, “So much for her ‘Stylist!’”
The latter bit was a reference to his Truth Social post from Thursday, February 9, again noted by The Hill: “Without her ‘Stylist’ she’d be NOTHING. Bad everything, and NO TALENT!”
Rihanna was awesome at the Super Bowl Halftime show. See the video for yourself.
Donald Trump is watching America and progress pass him by. He can’t stop change and lashes out, mostly at minorities. Also, Trump doesn’t know how to dance to Rihanna songs.#mondaythoughtshttps://t.co/G16bwrRhGf
Donald Trump has been busy preparing for his third presidential run. At the same time, former Manhattan prosecutor Mark Pomerantz is gearing up to spill plenty of tea about the New York native in his new book. The forthcoming project – People vs. Donald Trump – will specifically focus on the 76-year-old’s alleged corrupt practices in business.
Both the New York Times and The Daily Beast are publishing excerpts. In them, the author reflects on his tumultuous time investigating Trump. Pomerantz’s colleagues allegedly dug into all of his businesses. Among them were his real estate empire, for-profit university, and the family’s charitable foundation. Based upon his findings, the legal expert could think of only one other person to compare The Apprentice alum to.
“In my career as a lawyer, I had encountered only one other person who touched all of these bases: John Gotti, the head of the Gambino organized crime family,” the book’s preview reads. Due to Trump’s incessant history of lying, the DA’s office would’ve had to “show, and stress, that [the former POTUS] was not legally insane.” Employees spoke about whether or not the businessman can decipher between “bullshit and reality” anymore.
“Was Donald Trump suffering from some sort of mental condition that made it impossible for him to distinguish between fact and fiction?” Pomerantz says he asked his colleagues. The writer explains that the Florida-based politician “demanded absolute loyalty and would go after anyone who crossed him.”
Additionally, the Truth Social founder feels as though his book’s subject was “always one step ahead of the law.” The mention of Gotti was apparently met with outrage from Trump’s lawyers. Attorney Joe Tacopina is threatening legal action on his client’s behalf if the book goes public.
“Injecting the name John Gotti into this seems like just another desperate attempt by Pomerantz to sell books,” he previously told the Times. As Daily Mail notes, the upcoming release will focus on Trump’s allegations. However, the primary story is about the author’s journey to build a case against the then-president. It was ultimately never pursued during his time in the DA’s office.
Ultimately, Pomerantz resigned from his position in protest last year. At the time, Manhattan’s current DA, Alvin Bragg, opted out of seeking an indictment against the reality star. Prior to that, the prosecutor was seeking racketeering charges for Trump. This was because pursuing money laundering came with clear risks. Unfortunately for him, his coworkers became “unenthusiastic” about the project – just one of the reasons it wasn’t complete.
It seems as though legal troubles are coming at Trump from every angle these days. Reports recently began circulating that the embattled politician has had a grand jury probe launched regarding his previous affair with Stormy Daniels. Ahead of the 2016 election, he allegedly paid the adult actress to keep quiet about their time spent together.
If things go in the Manhattan District Attorney’s favour, it’s possible that the father of five could face criminal charges. Aside from that, he’s also still being investigated regarding the Mar-a-Lago classified document scandal. Read more about those situations here, and here, respectively, and check back later for more news updates.
Kanye West’s 2024 Presidential Campaign has yet to leave the starting blocks. According to the Daily Beast, a filing submitted on Monday shows Kanye’s campaign. Kanye 2020, keeping the name from the previous election cycle, has spent $142,000 in the past three months but did not receive a single dollar in donations.
West hasn’t officially declared his second run for office, but he did slide out a November campaign video. There have also been clothing designs brandishing a Ye 24 clothing logo.
In a new video uploaded to Twitter, Ye recalls visiting with former president Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, which didn’t go too well.
While YE was at the Florida home of Trump, he offered the idea for Trump to be his running mate for President. Trump would be the vice president.
“I think the thing that Trump was most perturbed about [was] me asking him to be my vice president. I think that was, like, lower on the list of things that caught him off guard. It was the fact that I walked in with intelligence,” Ye said.
Ye said in the conversation that Trump insulted Kim Kardashian and told the former billionaire he would fail in the election. “And I was thinking like, ‘That’s the mother of my children.’ Since we and all the Christians in America that love Trump know that Trump is a conservative, we’re gonna demand that you hold all policies directly to the Bible.”
What was Ye’s response: “‘Woah Woah, hold on, hold on, Trump. You’re talking to Ye.’”
As he gears up for this third-ever presidential run, Donald Trump is facing no shortage of legal woes. Over the past few years, the reality TV star has been caught up in scandal after scandal. From classified documents being found at his Mar-a-Lago residence to his past friendship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, the drama never ends.
On Monday (January 30), a report from the New York Times broke the news that things for the politician are looking bleaker. Prosecutors from the Manhattan District Attorney’s office are presenting evidence to a recently put-together jury.
The investigation is regarding the “hush money” that Trump previously gave to adult film star Stormy Daniels. Several years ago, the 76-year-old wanted his former lover to keep quiet about their extramarital affairs prior to the 2016 election.
According to today’s breaking news, a witness who helped arrange the controversial monetary agreement was seen in New York today. The building he entered is the same one that the grand jury has been meeting in.
Additionally, Trump’s former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, sat with prosecutors in recent weeks. As The Independent notes, the attorney was previously personally responsible for delivering Daniels her payments. He was later indicted on federal charges affiliated with the scheme.
Cohen plead guilty and spent time in federal prison. However, he was later released to home confinement as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“I participated in this conduct, which on my part took place in Manhattan, for the principal purpose of influencing the election” for president in 2016,” Trump’s co-conspirator said at the time.
The city’s DA, Alvin Bragg, is presently laying the groundwork to seek an indictment for Trump. A decision regarding the twice-impeached public figure’s future is said to be coming “soon.”
Potential criminal charges will likely depend on whether the father of five falsified business records to disguise payments to Cohen as compensation for services.
Elsewhere, Trump’s name has been coming up a lot in connection with Joe Biden’s classified documents scandal. The New Yorker has been openly mocking his fellow politician on his Truth social platform, despite having committed the same troubling acts himself.

When 76-year-old Donald Trump was caught keeping classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago residence, President Joe Biden was quick to condemn him. Naturally, when the shoe was on the other foot, the former POTUS came at his successor with the same energy.
As the NY Post post reports, the reality TV star has been sticking to his Truth Social platform lately. His loyalty remains strong, even with the green light from Elon Musk to return to Twitter. In one of his latest posts, the Florida-born entertainer wrote, “The White House just announced that there are no LOGS or information of any kind of visitors to the Wilmington house.”
Additionally, Trump made note of the “flimsy, unlocked, and unsecured, but now very famous garage.” From the sounds of things, the controversial figure wants to prove how much more secure his residence is than Biden. This could potentially help his image now that they’re both soaking in the same pot of hot water.
“Maybe they are smarter than we think! This is one of the seemingly many places where HIGHLY CLASSIFIED documents are stored (in a big pile on the damp floor),” the businessman continued to troll.
Trump’s post ends with, “Mar-a-Lago is a highly secured facility, with Security Cameras all over the place. [It’s] watched over by staff & our great Secret Service. I have INFO on everyone!”
The NY Post notes that the entire incident is an “embarrassment” amongst Democrats. House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer said his panel is seeking information on who had access to the files.
As for Trump, Jack Smith is working as a second special counsel for the feds to investigate the documents hidden at his Florida resort. This is one of many federal inquiries that The Apprentice alum is facing at this time.
Elsewhere in the news, Joe Rogan addressed all the political drama on a recent episode of his podcast. While chatting with his two guests, the Fear Factor alum speculated that the entire thing could be an inside job to get rid of Biden.
“I don’t know jack shit about politics. But if I had to guess – they’re trying to get rid of him,” the media personality speculated. Read what else The Joe Rogan Experience said here, and check back later for more news updates.
On Friday (January 13), a New York judge ordered two of his companies to pay up in a criminal tax fraud case. Although the payment is only $1.6 million, this is the maximum that state rules allow.
Furthermore, Ilya Marritz, who was covering the trial for NPR, says it’s really not a lot of money for these crimes.
“At trial, prosecutors showed that executives working for Trump engaged in a wide variety of maneuvers to evade local, state and federal taxes over more than a decade. And many of those tricks also benefited the Trump business. One executive got an apartment and cars and private school tuition, all undeclared, off the books. That meant Trump didn’t have to raise that executive’s wages for many years, and the Trump business also skirted payroll and Medicare taxes,” he says.
The former President and his legal team say they are preparing to appeal the case’s verdict.
Regardless, the new conviction will likely not impact his hopeful run of becoming President again. “That’s equivalent to about $25 to Donald Trump. He probably spends more at McDonalds,” says political commentator, Scottie Hughes in response to the verdict.
What do you think about the ordered payment? Comment your thoughts down below. Finally, make sure you stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest updates and news.
Some good news on the two-year anniversary of the January 6th US Capitol riots. Former President Donald Trump is now facing a substantial lawsuit as a result of his actions on that fateful day. Specifically, he’s being sued by the family of the late Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick.
As Complex notes, the victim passed away in January 2021. He suffered two strokes following the riots that came as a result of Trump’s failed second presidential run. In April of that year, the USCP released a statement regarding Sicknick’s death. At the time, they noted that they accepted the findings from D.C.’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Ultimately, reports say that the officer died of natural causes.
“This does not change the fact Officer Sicknick died in the line of duty, courageously defending Congress and the Capitol,” their aforementioned commentary says. “The Department continues to mourn the loss of our beloved colleague. The attack on our officers, including Brian, was an attack on our democracy.”
Earlier this week, the late man’s longtime partner, Sandra Garza, said in the lawsuit that Sicknick’s death was “a direct and foreseeable consequence” of Trump’s own words. Additionally, Julian Elie Khater and George Pierre Tanios’s names are in reports for allegedly assaulting the now-deceased policeman. They apparently attacked him with spray at the time.
“As a direct and foreseeable consequence of Defendant Trump’s false and incendiary allegations of fraud and theft, and in direct response to Defendant Trump’s express calls for violence at the rally, a violent mob attacked the U.S. Capitol,” the complaint against The Apprentice star reads.
“Many participants in the attack have since revealed that they were acting on what they believed to be Defendant Trump’s direct orders in service of their country.”
The suit requests that the court grant relief against the former POTUS and other defendants. Documents ask that everyone “individually pay actual money damages of not less than $10,000,000 to the Plaintiff.”
A specific amount will be set at a later date if the lawsuit is enough to obtain a trial date. In lighter news, Sicknick’s parents accepted the Medal of Honour on his behalf earlier today (January 6).

According to reports, the documents contain details that were not previously public. Private loans and foreign bank accounts were discovered in the returns. Also revealed were loans Trump gave to his children, income from Melania’s modeling and more.
Trump has attempted to keep his federal return out of the public eye for years. Earlier this week, he accused the democrats of unconstitutionally releasing his returns. “The Democrats should have never done it,” he began in a statement. “The supreme court should have never approved it, and it’s going to lead to horrible things for so many people.”
Trump’s rant against the democrats didn’t end there. “The great USA divide will now grow far worse,” he added. “The radical, left Democrats have weaponized everything. But remember, that is a dangerous two-way street.”
The tax returns also revealed information about Donald and Melania’s income during his time as POTUS. The Internal Revenue Service reportedly failed to carry out mandatory audits of Trump during his first two years as president.
It also found that the couple reported negative income and little or no tax liability for a few years. Returns for his first three years as president show that Trump donated a portion his salary, but he reported $0 in charitable giving in 2020. The news comes on the heels of the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol — reportedly referred by Trump — for possible criminal charges. Charges include incitement of insurrection and conspiracy to defraud the U.S.
Donald Trump has been putting a lot of energy towards his 2024 Presidential campaign in recent weeks. Seeing as the Jan. 6 Committee commissioned to analyze the deadly insurrection at the Capitol during his last stint in office has referred him for criminal charges, though, it’s entirely possible we may not see the politician hit the campaign trail next year.
Earlier this month, news came out declaring that the New York native is facing accusations of “providing aid and comfort” to the 2021 mob. Additionally, he could receive charges for “obstructing Congress’ Jan. 6 joint session, conspiracy to make false statements to the National Archives, and conspiracy to defraud the United States.”

At the time, panel chair Rep. Bennie Thompson said, “Faith in our system is the foundation of American democracy. If the faith is broken, so is our democracy. Donald Trump broke that faith. He lost the 2020 election and knew it, but he chose to try to stay in office through a multi-part scheme. This can never happen again.”
While he still has a surprising number of supporters, just as many others have been expressing disdain for Trump since the moment he began his political career. Specifically, comedian D.L. Hughley has been vocal about his thoughts on the Jan. 6 situation.
Recently, TMZ caught up with him at LAX, at which time they discussed what the future may hold for Trump. “Ultimately, we all saw what happened,” he tells the camera.
When asked about the former POTUS’ future election plans, Hughley says, “He should be disqualified from running again. Anybody who tries to overthrow, and have armed people rise up… Use white nationalists and skinheads to affect the results he wanted. They should automatically have been disbarred.”
Additionally, the actor thinks that failure to indict Trump on these allegations would “speak volumes of our legal system.” He went on, “Stop saying out loud that nobody is above the law because clearly, they are.”
“From espionage to, you know, tampering with elections. You name it. I think he should be charged with manslaughter for the cop that died, even though it wasn’t in the event,” Hughley told TMZ.
He then said that if Trump was a Black man, he would be a “co-conspirator” and put in jail long ago. “He is clearly guilty,” the 59-year-old insisted. “He’s taking this country down fast. I don’t know that it will ever recover.”
Listen to D.L. Hughley’s full rant below, and check back later for any updates on Donald Trump.
