Young Thug Trial: Lead Prosecutor Will Remain On The Case After Judge’s New Ruling

We’re already months into the Young Thug trial and it doesn’t appear to be close to reaching a resolution. In fact, some involved with the case have estimated that if the witness list isn’t shortened the trial could go on until 2027. Whether or not the bold prediction comes true remains to be seen but in the meantime the trial is continuing on despite one controversy after another throughout.

Most recently, Young Thug’s lawyers filed a new motion. They were attempting to have the lead prosecutor on the case, Adriane Love, removed from the trial. But after a newly announced ruling from the judge, she’s officially staying on the case. Video sharing the announcement features hundreds of comments about the judge’s bias. Fans following the trial have pointed out numerous times they felt like the judge was acting overtly biased in favor of the prosecution. “That judge want thug in jail I never seen a trial last this last long” and “Judge is bias common knowledge” two of the top comments on a post sharing the videos read. Check out the full announcement the judge made today.

Lead Prosecutor Will Stay On Young Thug RICO Trial

Messy stories about the YSL RICO trial seem to emerge almost every day. Earlier this week one of the witnesses in the case was being cross examined when she revealed some concerning details. She accused one of the investigators in Fulton County’s District Attorney’s office of sexually harassing her.

That came just a few days after a witness was allegedly forced to take the stand despite reporting suicidal thoughts. The witness was allegedly robbed in 2013 and the prosecution is attempting to prove Thug’s connection to it. But she was forced to take the stand despite making it clear she wanted no part in the trial. What do you think of the newest developments in the Young Thug YSL RICO trial? Do you think the court should take steps to prevent the trial from lasting as long as it appears it will? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Wayne’s 2015 Tour Bus Shooting Referenced In Young Thug & YSL RICO Trial

The RICO trial for Young Thug and YSL began today (Monday, November 27) with opening statements and a denied call for a mistrial on behalf of the defense. On that last point, it’s unclear if it’ll happen but still unlikely, but that wasn’t the only notable incident to come up on day one. Moreover, Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Adriane Love brought up a 2015 shooting that Lil Wayne’s tour bus suffered, allegedly at the hands of Thugger and YSL. If you weren’t aware of their beef, now you know to what extent it allegedly went to. Furthermore, she said that the convict in that case– Jimmy Winfrey– and others shot up the bus to show solidarity with Thugger after they went to Weezy’s show “locked and loaded” and did not secure clearance to enter.

“They unloaded bullets into the man’s tour bus,” Adriane Love remarked. “Bullets for nothing, except to show their dominance. There will be no evidence to show that Lil Wayne threatened either of them that night. But that act on the part of Jimmy Winfrey and the defendants before you today was intended to show their solidarity, their willingness to act on the behalf of– [and] their willingness to exact violence upon anyone who threatened the position of– the criminal street gang calling itself Young Slime Life.”

Young Thug & YSL RICO Trial Prosecutor Reminds The Jury Of Lil Wayne Shooting: Watch

In fact, the “Metro Spider” MC’s feud with Lil Wayne was also the subject of a leaked interrogation with him. Furthermore, Young Thug answered questions about whether he, Birdman, or Tunechi were part of a Bloods gang. Of course, he stood by any lyrical references as just entertainment, and denied any and all actual criminal activity relating to that. It’s one of many bizarre angles in this case competing for court relevance.

Another is the use of lyrics in the trial as evidence against the codefendants, and you already know how the Atlanta trap pioneer thinks about that. Regardless, we’d predict that this tour bus shooting will prove to be a constant point of discussion, both for the severity of the actions and their alleged responsibility, plus its connection to the hip-hop world that is an apt contextual comparison. All that remains is to see whether the evidence supports that. For more news and the latest updates on Young Thug, the YSL RICO case, and Lil Wayne, stick around on HNHH.

Boosie Badazz Blasts Prosecutor As “Racist” Amid Their Bond Appeal

Although the court approved his $50,000 bond, prosecutors are making it very difficult for Boosie Badazz to leave his cell. To summarize the case, authorities arrested the Baton Rouge MC for firearm charges seemingly tied to him flashing one on Instagram Live. While the court initially denied his requests for bond, eventually the judge gave the order- and the prosecution quickly responded. Moreover, federal prosecutors motioned for Boosie to remain behind bars until his trial. After the judge denied it and they appealed the decision again, he slammed prosecutor Michael Wheat via Twitter on Wednesday (June 21) for their insistence.

“After the judge has granted me a bond, and I paid my full cash amount the prosecution refuse to respect the judges decision to let me go,” Boosie Badazz wrote. “They showed no evidence of me being a flight risk or a danger to the community. The prosecutor Mr. wheat looked at me singing Wipe Me Down, wiped his shoulders and shook his head with a look of evil in his eyes. This is total misconduct from a prosecutor.

Boosie’s Statement

“He is racist and has evil intentions,” Boosie Badazz continued. “Now they filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in prison. I need the people of San Diego outside the court tomorrow to protest the injustice that is being done to me. I need ALL prayer warriors across the world to pray this southern district of California remove Mr. wheat and this prosecution off my case. Even my attorneys have never seen nothing like this in their career. Help Me Fight this Injustice and say a prayer for my freedom tomorrow.”

Meanwhile, in a statement to XXL, the 40-year-old’s team briefly addressed the situation. “Boosie asks for prayers as he deals with this unfortunate circumstance in his life. He hopes that he can rejoin his family soon and knows that God got him.” In addition, the rapper sent a message to his children shortly after federal authorities took him in. “I wanna take this time to apologize to my kids,” he tweeted. “I’m sorry and I love y’all forever.” For more news and the latest updates on Boosie Badazz, stick around on HNHH.

Donald Trump Compared To John Gotti, Prosecutor Claims Former POTUS Nearly Faced RICO Charges

Donald Trump has been busy preparing for his third presidential run. At the same time, former Manhattan prosecutor Mark Pomerantz is gearing up to spill plenty of tea about the New York native in his new book. The forthcoming project – People vs. Donald Trump – will specifically focus on the 76-year-old’s alleged corrupt practices in business.

Both the New York Times and The Daily Beast are publishing excerpts. In them, the author reflects on his tumultuous time investigating Trump. Pomerantz’s colleagues allegedly dug into all of his businesses. Among them were his real estate empire, for-profit university, and the family’s charitable foundation. Based upon his findings, the legal expert could think of only one other person to compare The Apprentice alum to.

“In my career as a lawyer, I had encountered only one other person who touched all of these bases: John Gotti, the head of the Gambino organized crime family,” the book’s preview reads. Due to Trump’s incessant history of lying, the DA’s office would’ve had to “show, and stress, that [the former POTUS] was not legally insane.” Employees spoke about whether or not the businessman can decipher between “bullshit and reality” anymore.

“Was Donald Trump suffering from some sort of mental condition that made it impossible for him to distinguish between fact and fiction?” Pomerantz says he asked his colleagues. The writer explains that the Florida-based politician “demanded absolute loyalty and would go after anyone who crossed him.”

Additionally, the Truth Social founder feels as though his book’s subject was “always one step ahead of the law.” The mention of Gotti was apparently met with outrage from Trump’s lawyers. Attorney Joe Tacopina is threatening legal action on his client’s behalf if the book goes public.

“Injecting the name John Gotti into this seems like just another desperate attempt by Pomerantz to sell books,” he previously told the Times. As Daily Mail notes, the upcoming release will focus on Trump’s allegations. However, the primary story is about the author’s journey to build a case against the then-president. It was ultimately never pursued during his time in the DA’s office.

Ultimately, Pomerantz resigned from his position in protest last year. At the time, Manhattan’s current DA, Alvin Bragg, opted out of seeking an indictment against the reality star. Prior to that, the prosecutor was seeking racketeering charges for Trump. This was because pursuing money laundering came with clear risks. Unfortunately for him, his coworkers became “unenthusiastic” about the project – just one of the reasons it wasn’t complete.

It seems as though legal troubles are coming at Trump from every angle these days. Reports recently began circulating that the embattled politician has had a grand jury probe launched regarding his previous affair with Stormy Daniels. Ahead of the 2016 election, he allegedly paid the adult actress to keep quiet about their time spent together.

If things go in the Manhattan District Attorney’s favour, it’s possible that the father of five could face criminal charges. Aside from that, he’s also still being investigated regarding the Mar-a-Lago classified document scandal. Read more about those situations here, and here, respectively, and check back later for more news updates.

R. Kelly Cases: Chicago Prosecutor Drops Sex Abuse Charges In State Case

A Chicago prosecutor dropped charges of sexual abuse against R. Kelly. According to multiple reports, Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx said cost was a factor in dropping the ten charges. Moreover, she told reporters that these charges are unnecessary to pursue in the face of his current predicament.

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS – JUNE 26: R&B singer R. Kelly leaves the Leighton Criminal Courts Building following a hearing on June 26, 2019 in Chicago, Illinois. Prosecutors turned over to Kelly’s defense team a DVD that alleges to show Kelly having sex with an underage girl in the 1990s. Kelly has been charged with multiple sex crimes involving four women, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged encounters.

Furthermore, she stated that her office believes “justice has been served against Kelly with those two convictions. Mr. Kelly is looking at the possibility of never walking out of prison again.” To continue, authorities scheduled the R&B singer to appear in court on Tuesday to drop the charges. Moreover, he faced charges of sexually abusing four people, of which three were minors.

However, this state case dates back to 2019, when Foxx said the incidents occurred between May of 1998 and January of 2010. Also, the 56-year-old faced three to seven years in prison for each charge.

Meanwhile, Foxx revealed that she consulted her decision to drop the charges with the women involved in the indictment. While she believes it might come off as a disappointment to some, she hoped they can understand many factors were at play.

“I know firsthand how difficult it is for you to tell your stories,” she expressed. “Four years ago, I stood at this podium and shared my story of having been a survivor and my full understanding of what it means to have to go before strangers to discuss what is arguably one of the most horrific experiences one could have. And these women, all of them Black, came forward, believing that they would be heard.”

Overall, Kelly’s currently serving a 30-year sentence after a New York conviction for racketeering and sex trafficking. In addition, authorities will sentence him in another federal case in Chicago later this month. What’s more is that this news follows the recent release of Surviving R. Kelly’s final installment.

Still, what do you think of the news that a Chicago prosecutor dropped her office’s charges against R. Kelly? Whatever the case, let us know in the comments down below. Also, as always, come back to HNHH for the latest on this case.
