Ice Cube Drags A Troll That Called Him Out For Republican Ties

Ice Cube engaged in a fiery exchange with an internet troll who accused the rapper of promoting Republican voting. On Monday, an individual, evidently not a fan of the West Coast icon, took to Twitter to criticize Cube. They claimed that he only appeared “every four years” to encourage black people to vote for Republicans who “openly suppress the black vote.” Spotting the tweet, Cube swiftly fired back at the criticism. “I never told yo’ Black ass who to vote for,” the rapper said. “So stop lying and get that ‘click bait’ out’cha mouth.”

Over the years, the former N.W.A. rapper has been actively involved in political matters. In 2020, Ice Cube faced intense scrutiny when Katrina Pierson, an advisor to Donald Trump’s campaign, publicly acknowledged his assistance. Apparently, he took part in the former president’s Platinum Plan. Subsequently, Cube had to do damage control by confirming his collaboration with Trump. However, he was aiming to advance his Contract With Black America (CWBA) initiative.

Ice Cube Will Work With Whoever He Needs To In Order To Help The Black Community

At that time, Cube tweeted, “Let me get this straight, I get the president of the United States to agree to put over half a trillion dollars of capital in the Black Community (without an endorsement) and n***as are mad at me? Have a nice life.” Despite the backlash, Cube later revealed that he was approached by Joe Biden’s camp after Biden’s victory in the 2020 election. The new president was seeking his support in implementing the CWBA initiative. Cube emphasized that the ultimate goal was to pressure candidates to incorporate elements of his plan, which received widespread agreement, into their agendas.

In addition to his ties with Republicans, Ice Cube has faced longstanding accusations of antisemitism. He has been an outspoken supporter of Louis Farrakhan, a prominent religious leader known for his antisemitic views. In 2015, Cube was accused of allegedly instructing his entourage to assault a rabbi. Moreover, during the peak of the pandemic in 2020, Cube drew criticism for sharing memes that implied Jewish people were responsible for causing disruptions in the country. Cube defended these memes, referring to them as “pro-Black.” What do you think of Ice Cube’s response to the troll? Let us know in the comments!

Donald Trump Responds To Second Defamation Case By Digging Himself Deeper

Just a few weeks ago, a jury found Donald Trump guilty of sexually abusing magazine writer E. Jean Carroll during the 1990s. The verdict was reached in a civil case, coming at a time when the former President is gearing up for the 2024 election. In addition to the sexual abuse verdict, the jury concluded that Trump had defamed Carroll by publicly calling her a liar. The jury deliberated for three hours following an eight-day trial. As a result of the verdict, the court ordered Trump to pay $5 million in damages to Carroll.

The charges on which Trump was found guilty stem from an incident in the 90s. Carroll made allegations against Trump, claiming that he sexually assaulted her in the dressing room of a Bergdorf Goodman store in New York City. When Carroll went public with her account in 2019, Trump denied the accusation. At the time, he commented, “She’s not my type.” However, during the trial, evidence was presented to demonstrate that Carroll does fit Trump’s “type.” Attorneys showed a video of Trump’s deposition where he mistakenly identified Carroll as his former wife, Marla Maples. Since then, Trump has continued to defame the victim, leading to another defamation lawsuit.

Trump’s Troublesome Tweets

Donald Trump has had a history of going through numerous lawyers over the years. In some cases, they eventually turn against him. It seems that the former president’s current legal team must be growing frustrated with him. Recently, a new defamation lawsuit was filed against Trump. The suit was filed by E. Jean Carroll’s legal team, following his previous defamatory remarks. It also followed the verdict of a jury finding him guilty of defamation and sexual misconduct. Rather than refraining from further defamatory statements, Trump chose to repeat the same lines that have already resulted in two lawsuits against him. This has likely caused much dismay amongst his legal team.

“I don’t know E. Jean Carroll, I never met her or touched her (except on a celebrity line with her African American husband who she disgustingly called the ‘Ape’),” Trump posted on Truth Social. “I wouldn’t want to know or touch her, I never abused her or raped her or took her to a dressing room 25 years ago in a crowded department store where the doors are LOCKED, she has no idea when, or did anything else to her, except deny her Fake, Made Up Story, that she wrote in a book. IT NEVER HAPPENED, IS A TOTAL SCAM, UNFAIR TRIAL!” Trump, as always, went on to blame Democrats at large for the trial. Stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news on Trump and the many lawsuits against him.

Trump Is Feuding With The Village People Over A Tribute Band, As If He Doesn’t Have Enough Going On

As far as anyone can tell, Donald Trump listens to the same 20 songs over and over again, 10 of which are Broadway standards. Two of his favorite non-showtunes are “YMCA” and “Macho Man” by the Village People. It’s a one-sided relationship, as the kitschy group celebrated when he lost the 2020 election (“Thankfully he’s now out of office, so it would seem his abusive use of our music has finally ended”). But that didn’t stop Trump from hiring a Village Record tribute band to perform at Mar-a-Lago.

The best thing Trump ever did was make other tall gargoyles (like myself) look like smooth dancers by comparison. Anyway, the video went viral and caught the attention of the actual Village People, not the Florida imposters.

And according to TMZ, they’re not happy.

The wife of Victor Willis — lead singer of the Village People — fired off a legal warning to Trump, telling him to stop confusing people into believing they endorse him for president, which they claim Trump’s doing with his entertainment choices… The band says it’s not them in the video, but rather a bunch of impersonators dressed like them and they say they never gave Trump permission to use the group’s image and likeness at Mar-a-Lago.

In response, Trump’s more-like-macho-bland attorney, Joe Tacopina, told TMZ, “I will only deal with the attorney of the Village People, if they have one, not the wife of one of the members. But they should be thankful that President Trump allowed them to get their name back in the press. I haven’t heard their name in decades. Glad to hear they are still around.”

I, for one, would not enjoy if one of my favorite bands threatened legal action to prevent me from playing their music, but Trump’s different, I guess.

Donald Trump Slams Ron DeSantis & Fox News: “He Sucks, & So Does Fox News”

Donald Trump called out both Ron DeSantis and Fox News on his Truth Social platform, Monday. In a pair of firey posts, the former president trolled his opponent for his dropping poll numbers and complained about the direction of the iconic conservative news network. In particular, Trump referenced the recent firing of Tucker Carlson.

“Just watching Fox News. They are sooo bad, just like the Globalist Wall Street Journal and the now, way down, New York Post. They are desperately pushing DeSanctimonious who, regardless, is dropping like a rock,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “He’s even down 20 points in Florida, which was third worst in Covid, & where I got 1.2 million more votes than he did. RINO Mark Thiessen, a Bush flunky, is constantly on pushing DeSanctus, giving bad info. Even said I ‘lost Iowa last time around,’ I won BIG. He sucks, & so does Fox News!”

Fox News is way down in the Ratings. After firing Tucker Carlson and refusing to fight against a VERY Corrupt and Rigged 2020 Presidential Election, which just cost them plenty of money, prestige, and RATINGS, they are a far cry from what they used to be,” Trump wrote. He added that Fox News has “become the DeSanctimonious Network, but it will never work because he doesn’t have the goods. Without my Endorsement, he was a dead man walking. Even with Fox, he’s already pretty close to that again!”

Later in the day, Trump shared a poll that showed him at 55%, up eight points from April. DeSantis, on the other hand, trailed at just 17%. He also noted that he’s leading President Joe Biden by 7 points in a national poll, but didn’t cite which one.

Donald Trump Furious After Losing $5 Million In Sexual Abuse Trial

Donald Trump says that Tuesday’s civil trial, which found him liable for the sexual abuse and defamation of E. Jean Carroll, is part of the “greatest witch hunt of all time.” The former president ranted about the verdict in a number of posts and videos on Truth Social, after the jury reached its decision.

“This Clinton appointed Judge, Lewis Kaplan, hated President Donald J. Trump more than is humanly possible. He is a terrible person, completely biased, and should have RECUSED himself when asked to do so. He quickly refused!” Trump said in a video on the platform. “This case should never have been allowed to be tried in this completely partisan venue, perhaps the worst for me in the Nation! The whole Rigged Hoax is yet another TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE, a continuation of the greatest political Witch Hunt of all time!!!”

E. Jean Carroll Arrives In Court

Carroll accuses Trump of sexually assaulting her in the dressing room of a Bergdorf Goodman department store in New York City during the 1990s. When she went public with her account of the incident in 2019, Trump denied the allegation and remarked, “She’s not my type.” In proving that Carroll is, in fact, Trump’s “type,” attorneys showed footage of Trump’s deposition. During the video, he incorrectly identified Carroll as his ex-wife Marla Maples.

Attorneys for Trump did not call any witnesses nor did he testify in the trial. Instead, they argued that Carroll and the 10 other witnesses her team called were part of a conspiracy to tarnish Trump’s reputation out of hatred for him. Trump addressed the case on Truth Social. “Waiting for a jury decision on a False Accusation where I, despite being a current political candidate and leading all others in both parties, am not allowed to speak or defend myself, even as hard nosed reporters scream questions about this case at me,” he wrote. “In the meantime, the other side has a book falsely accusing me of Rape, & is working with the press. I will therefore not speak until after the trial, but will appeal the Unconstitutional silencing of me, as a candidate, no matter the outcome!”

Video Deposition Of Donald Trump Made Public In Civil Case

Former President Donald Trump is currently in the midst of a civil trial over claims that he raped journalist E. Carroll Jean in the 1990s. Jean’s suit also alleges that Trump made defamatory comments about Jean when she went public with her accusation. Jean initially went public with her allegations in 2019 as she tired from Elle magazine.

The trial is expected to conclude on Monday with closing arguments, as President Trump has declined to take the witness stand. However, the last major development in the trial is the video deposition of President Trump conducted last October. While a written transcript was released publicly earlier year, the video of the deposition has been sealed until now.

Trump Deposition Explained

The deposition begins with questioning in relation to a post Trump made of Truth Social on October 12 2022 denying the allegations of rape put forwards by Jean. The post also calls her book “crummy” and said he “doesn’t know” and “doesn’t want to know” Jean. While defending the post in his deposition, Trump is heard remarking that “The woman — there’s something wrong with her in my opinion.” He later doubles down on the sentiment, calling her a “wack job” and saying “I think she’s sick, mentally sick.” The testimony is long and rambling. At one point, the deposing official even states “So, again, just so the testimony is clear, because you tend to give long answers,” while trying to get Trump to answer a question.

On multiple occasions, Trump claims he has no idea how Jean is beyond the fact she is suing him. This is in spite of a picture being entered into evidence showing the two meeting during the 1980s. Trump also attacks the deposing official, at one point saying, “You’re a political operative also. You’re a disgrace.· But she’s accusing me and so are you of rape, and it never took place.” As Trump has refused to take the stand in this case, his video deposition will be the only testimony the jury hears from the mouth of President Trump. HotNewHipHop will be sure to keep you informed about all the latest developments in this case.

Charleston White Goes All-In For Donald Trump

Charleston White is easily one of the more unique characters in the hip-hop world. Although many of his antics feel extremely contrived, there is no doubt that he knows how to push people’s buttons. He is always getting into beef with people, and overall, he can be downright offensive. However, because he has gained such a following, he has been able to maintain relevancy, whether you like it or not. That said, with an election on the way, Charleston White is looking to his affiliations be known.

As we already know, President Joe Biden will be running for re-election. There are a few Democrats who want to primary him, however, they are largely fringe cases. By November 2024, it is clear that Biden will be on the ballot for Democrats. On The Republican side, however, there will not be very much change. Donald Trump is running again, and there isn’t a single other Republican who can contend with him. Ron DeSantis is floundering in the polls and it is all but guaranteed that we are getting a 2020 rematch.

Charleston White Makes His Politics Known

As for Charleston White, well, he is riding with Donald Trump. We know this thanks to some posts on his Instagram page in which he makes his affiliation crystal clear. Above, in a repost from No Jumper, White can be found standing next to a huge Trump flag that reads “Trump 2024 I’ll Be Back.” Overall, it is a pretty bold move, but that it what people come to expect from Charleston White. Moreover, it seems as though is about to be in a music video for a conservative rapper. Either way, this is not going to go over well with his enemies in the industry.

At this point, the whole Trump Vs. Biden rematch is still up in the air. Most polls suggest Biden would win, especially given January 6th. However, no one really knows what will truly go down. The political process has become as unpredictable as it has ever been. Let us know what you think of White’s latest loud statement, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the world.

Trump Never Invited The Obamas Back To The White House

There is a long-standing tradition in American politics. As president, you are meant to invite your predecessor back to the White House for the unveiling and hanging of their official Presidential Portrait. Once a staple of the Presidential experience, it was Jackie Kennedy who restarted the tradition in the 1960s.

The tradition of the current President helping unveil the portrait of the previous President started in earnest under President Carter. Carter invited President Ford back to the White House in 1978 to hang Ford’s portrait. The tradition continued from there, with the exception of Carter who requested that there be no ceremony. Bush I invited back Reagan, Clinton invited back Bush I, Bush II invited back Clinton, and Obama invited back Bush II. However, the trend stopped under Trump, who did not extend an invitation to the Obamas. Their portraits were instead unveiled in 2022 by President Biden.

Trump Never Invited The Obamas To The White House

Appearing on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, the former First Lady did not hold back. She cut Fallon off as he tried to lead into a question about being invited back under the Biden administration. “Wasn’t invited,” Obama quipped, smirking as the jab threw Fallon off before following up with an “oooh shade.” She then went on to clarify what she meant, “That’s tradition. You do your official portraits. The next president is supposed to invite you back to hang them. We were never invited back. So, these pictures had been done for a long, long time.”

Trump has had a…thorny relationship with his Presidential predecessor to say the least. Reports claim that Trump had the toilets replaced in the White House after the Obamas left. Furthermore, Trump was a very prominent voice in the “Birther movement”, the right-wing conspiracy that Obama was not a US citizen. Despite running against Hilary Clinton in 2016, Trump always positioned himself as an antidote to the Obama era. A president almost famous for his reckless abandonment of protocol, this latest claim of both shunning tradition and snubbing the Obamas is unsurprising. It is unclear when the official portraits of the Trumps will be completed.

Donald Trump Offers Supporters His Half-Eaten Pizza

Donald Trump offered a crowd of his supporters a slice of pizza he already bit into at Downtown House of Pizza in Fort Meyers, Florida, on Friday night. CNN reporter Kate Sullivan posted a video of the interaction on Twitter afterward. Earlier in the day, Trump had attended the Lee County Republican Party’s Lincoln Reagan Dinner.

In the video from the event, the former president can be seen holding up a box of pepperoni pizza as the crowd chants his name. “Does anybody want a piece that I’ve eaten?” Trump asks at one point. The crowd yells back “No!” in unison as Trump laughs. The clip has been going viral on social media over the weekend.

The pizza incident comes after Trump fired off an email attacking Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis earlier in the night. Trump remarked that Florida is “among the worst states” to live, die, pay taxes, and “be safe”, among other complaints. Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung added: “The real DeSantis record is one of misery and despair. He has left a wake of destruction all across Florida and people are hurting because he has spent more time playing public relations games instead of actually doing the hard-work needed to improve the lives of the people he represents.”

The email is just the latest in a number of attacks Trump has made at DeSantis as the 2024 campaign heats up. Earlier this month, a pro-Trump super PAC launched an ad targeting DeSantis’ “pudding fingers,” referencing a story of a time he allegedly ate pudding without a spoon. “Ron DeSantis loves sticking his fingers where they don’t belong. And we’re not just talking about pudding,” the ad reads. “DeSantis has his dirty fingers all over senior entitlements, like cutting Medicare, slashing Social Security, and even raising our retirement age.” In addition to the ad airing on CNN and Fox, the Trump campaign also tweeted it out.
