Rick Ross Fires Back At Dee-1 Over Recent Diss

Rick Ross responded to Dee-1’s recent diss aimed at him, Meek Mill, and Jim Jones, on his Instagram Story, on Saturday. Dee-1 had criticized the lyrical content of the three rappers’ songs during an appearance on Sway in the Morning on Tuesday. Ross accused him of wanting to “go viral.”

“Lil’ man, whoever you is, until you feed the kids where you’re from for 20 years straight, don’t question Rozay,” he began, as noted by HipHopDX. “Wait until you buy 10,000 bikes. […] Don’t question Bawse. You heard me, lil’ man? Get that basket off your head, so you could think clear, lil’ man. […] Since you wanna go viral, I’m gonna show you how to go viral, lil’ man.”

He continued: “Go viral feedin’ them kids in your hood. Go viral givin’ them bikes away. Go viral Christmas time! Don’t be sayin’, ‘Jim Jones.’ Jim Jones just gave away goddamn six figures worth of clothes in his hood. And you a n***a who talkin’. Lookin’ vegan, knowin’ you eatin’ more goddamn biggly-wiggly bacon than any other n***a out here. Shut up.”

As for Dee-1’s full comments, he said on the show: “Jim Jones, you could do better, brother. I love you too much to not be honest with you. Rick Ross, you could do better, brother. Meek Mill, you could do better, brother! I love you too much not to be honest with you. Oh, you the face of prison reform? Or are you sitting here on your new song with Ross talking about getting somebody murked, and shot at the red light? Which one is it, bro?” Meek Mill also fired back at Dee-1 in an Instagram post of his own. He wrote: “I was rappin’ this way when I became the face of reform…that’s how I got there. Y’all forgot that fast.” The feud comes as Rick Ross and Meek Mill prepare for the release of their upcoming project Too Good To Be True. The album is scheduled for release on November 10, 2023. Snoop Dogg’s Criticism Made Soulja Boy Want To “Cry”

During a recent live stream, Soulja Boy opened up about how getting harsh criticism from one of his idols impacted him. According to the rapper, Snoop Dogg had some less than flattering things to say about his 2007 hit, “Crank That.” He explained how his comments took a toll on him, as he was somebody that the then-teenager looked up to.

“I love f*ckin’ Snoop Dogg, to this day,” Soulja Boy began. “When I first came out he was like ‘Crank That? What is that bullsh*t…’” Unfortunately, the criticism weighed heavy on him at the time, though they’ve since made amends. “N***a that hurt my f*cking soul, I wanted to cry,” he revealed. “I was 17 at the time so I’m like, ‘this is my f*cking idol f*ckin’ telling me that I suck.’”

Soulja Boy On Snoop Dogg’s Criticism

Eventually, the two of them came face to face, and Snoop Dogg apologized to Soulja Boy for his harsh words. “I met Snoop Dogg in person and he was like ‘man, my bad,’” he recalled. The Chicago native went on to describe how Snoop Dogg claimed he just didn’t “understand” the song when it first came out. Luckily, the track eventually grew on him.

While he may have been able to forgive Snoop Dogg for his “Crank That” criticism, he didn’t hold back when Chinese Kitty dissed his music last month. The 28-year-old had said that she was “forced” to listen to his music because her son is a fan, prompting Soulja Boy to fire back. “F*ck all of y’all, man. Y’all always trying to shade me, for what? I ain’t do nothing but show you h*es love,” he said. What do you think of Soulja Boy revealing what his response was to Snoop Dogg’s negative comments about his music? Ari Fletcher Fires Back At Rah Ali For “Demon” Diss, Claims To Have Her Address

Rah Ali recently took to social media, dissing Ari Fletcher for a recent episode of The Impact: Atlanta. In the episode, Fletcher sits down with her biological father for the first time ever. The two had an emotional conversation about his absence from her life, with Fletcher calling the meet-up a “letdown.” While the vulnerable moment led to an outpouring of support for Fletcher from her fans, Rah Ali took it as an opportunity to throw shade at the reality star.

“When you’re such a low life even your Daddy don’t want to deal with you,” she wrote. “He knew you were a demon from birth.” This sparked a heated response from Fletcher, who made it clear that she’s not messing around. “Rah I got your address and your social find you somebody to play with. Cause I’m feeling real like a ‘demon’ right now,” she warned.

Ari Fletcher And Rah Ali’s Twitter Beef

“Keep eating crumbs off the floor b*tch,” she added. “I been pressing old soggy b*tches all my life without even applying no pressure.” Things only escalated from there, as Rah continued to taunt Fletcher. She responded to the Chicago native’s original reply, telling her, “come and get me baby.” Rah went on to drop some hints about her location.

“Rah you ready to wake up out your sleep in cold sweats again,” she fired back. “You know I get the best of you. I control you. Im finna be her topic for the next year and a half. You my slave b*tch!” Rah went on to share a photo of her child, who Fletcher previously threatened to “beat” out of her. What do you think of Rah Ali and Ari Fletcher’s beef? J. Cole Explains “Everybody Dies” Diss, Fans Accuse Him Of “Condoning” Bad Rappers

In a recent interview on Lil Yatchy’s podcast, J. Cole explained what he really meant in his 2016 song “Everybody Dies”. The song was widely taken as a diss against younger rappers who had “Lil” in their stage name. “That wasn’t [just] the new generation,” he said. “That was everybody. My generation, that generation, the older generation. There’s a, ‘Will you take a break please?’ [line in there.] Like, ‘N-gga, how long you been doing that sh-t for?’ At that time it was that, but I understand how it was perceived that way and how that added to the narrative,” he explained.

Furthermore, Cole explained that he fully took back the diss after some self-reflection. “And my knee jerk reaction to that music [in 2016] was the same. I’m once again grateful because it’s the second time that happened in my life I had to have a conversation with myself like, ‘N-gga, you are hating! You not embracing. It’s the same thing you had to go through when you was a kid with snap music.’ [So I asked myself], ‘What is amazing about these dudes?’ and I switched my mindset,” he continued.

Fans Accuse Cole Of Condoning “Trash” Rappers

However, Cole’s explanation didn’t sit well with a number of fans. In their eyes, Cole’s comments “condoned” some of the less-talented rappers making it big in 2023. “I’m sorry, but we need to stop making excuses to condone the garage caliber of music that a lot of young artist get popular from. This is not a reflection of the generation or trending styles of embraced music, but simply because it has become easier to release music. These rappers care nothing about being musicians or artistic but rather getting attention. Stop condoning these gimmicks!!” one person noted on social media.

Another went after Cole for flip-flopping. “I like Jcole, but he’s forcing himself to like something he don’t. Just be real and stand on it.” Meanwhile, another critic was even blunter with their comments. “Cole folded now he f-ck with the mumble rappers he used to diss smh.” But what do you think? Is Cole simply being more open to music that might not be his taste on first listen? Or is he being too open and giving flowers to the undeserving? Let us know in the comments.

Meek Mill Responds To Diss From Rapper Dee-1 Against Him, Rick Ross & Jim Jones

Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Jim Jones recently caught some strays from underground New Orleans rapper Dee-1, who called them out on Sway’s Universe recently. Moreover, the specific reason has to do with these artists’ content matter, which the Christian MC sees as harmful and thinks they “could do better.” Of course, this is notable because of Rozay and Meek’s upcoming collaborative album, Too Good To Be True. In addition, the Dipset boss has also been quite vocal in their support of them throughout this project’s rollout. Furthermore, the Philly MC was the first to directly respond to this diss, and we’ll see if more fallout comes from it. “Nah we do everything lol,” Meek Mill began his response to Dee-1 on his Instagram Story. Sure, it’s not a full-on response track or diss record, but addressing the contention at hand is an important first step.

Nevertheless, he continued: “I was rapping this way when I became the face of reform. That’s how I got there y’all forgot that fast.” Meanwhile, this is what Dee-1 had to say about Rick Ross, Jim Jones, and Meek Mill. “Jim Jones, you could do better, brother,” he began on radio waves. “I love you too much to not be honest with you. Rick Ross, you could do better, brother. Meek Mill, you could do better, brother! I love you too much not to be honest with you. Oh, you the face of prison reform? Or are you sitting here on your new song with Ross talking about getting somebody murked, and shot at the red light? Which one is it, bro? ‘Cause I did a shoe giveaway in my city and gave out 1,300 pairs of your shoes because they said ‘Reform’ underneath them.

Dee-1 Addresses Rick Ross, Jim Jones & Meek Mill, Who Responds To His Critique

“I love that you partnered with a major shoe company and you out here pushing prison reform,” he continued. “But this man glorifying getting people killed as of a week ago!’ Like, what are you doing, bro? Lil’ Snoop really got killed, that broke your heart. You wear him around your neck. Why are you glorifying the same thing? The rap game, the hip-hop industry is great at cooking up some delicious poison. I don’t call you out because I got a problem with you, man. Like, I wish we could go get lunch right now, me and any of them. I love you too much to not be honest with you. That’s what it is, bro. So yeah, if anybody feel bad about being called out, it’s like, let’s talk. Let’s talk about it and let’s just figure out what we can do better.

“But at the end of the day, guess what’s not changing?,” Dee-1 continued. “The word of God ain’t changing. There’s death and life in the power of the tongue, Proverbs 18 and 21. That’s not changing. Trying with this foolish argument that, ‘It’s just entertainment, this ain’t real!’ How many more people gotta die in the hood, man? How many people, at the end of the day, lives gotta get ruined and poisoned and how many rappers gotta get killed for us to be like, ‘Come on, man’? When it’s hip-hop, it’s a whole culture. It’s implied that this is autobiographical and this is non-fiction tales that people are telling. How much does that have to happen? Don’t hit me with that. People just don’t want to confront the reality of this stuff.” For more on Dee-1, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Jim Jones, stick around on HNHH.

Sukihana Threatens To “Knock Khia Tf Out”

Earlier this week, Khia went on a bit of a rant about being compared to other female MCs. According to the “My Neck, My Back” performer, she’s nothing like some of the raunchier artists of the genre, as her songs send a completely different message to listeners. Specifically, she took aim at Sexyy Red and Sukihana, who are known for their sexually explicit lyrics.

“I’m about tired of y’all comparing me to these h*es,” Khia explained. “I said my neck, my back, my p***y and my crack,” she continued. “It’s respect me, it’s snatch the motherf*ckin’ cat back. It’s don’t trust no motherf*ckin’ n***a get your own sh*t.” She didn’t stop there, however. She then went on to make references to Sexyy Red and Sukihana’s music, seemingly mocking them in the process. “It ain’t eat no n***a’s a** and suck no n***a’s toes,” she said.

Sukihana Takes Aim At Khia Following Rant

Her rant prompted a response from Sexyy Red, who didn’t appreciate the apparent criticism. “Just another ol washed up h@g hatin ona young turnt rich bthc,” she wrote. “Hatin on bad bthces den & you still ah mad hater.” Now, Sukihana has weighed in, and it appears as though she’s similarly outraged by Khia’s comments. She even threatened to get physical with the hitmaker, which could mean trouble in the future.

“I will knock Khia tf out,” she Tweeted. “SUKIHANA is SUKIHANA a has been is a has been. I’m booked every weekend until next September of NEXT YEAR. I get it I’m ratchet but I live in my truth. Atlease I don’t sit in front of a library mad at trina everyday with 172 teeth in my mouth.” Clearly, Suki didn’t take too kindly to Khia’s jab. Blueface Threatens To Fight His Stepdad Following His Mom’s Jaidyn Alexis Rant

Recently, Blueface’s mother took to social media to weigh in on he and Jaidyn Alexis’ interview with Jason Lee. According to her, there were plenty of things said that rubbed her the wrong way, particularly coming from Jaidyn. The “Barbie” rapper broke down the reasons why she previously chose to move out of Blueface’s house, claiming that on top of his relationship with Chrisean, she wasn’t getting along with Saffold.

“You moved out because your man was over there with a Black girl and you couldn’t do s**t about it,” Saffold fired back. “You took my daughter up over there and got her into that bulls**t. Got her into a fight with the girl. The girl lost her tooth. All that bulls**t was your s**t.” Her rant prompted a response from Blueface, who decided to stick up for Jaidyn. According to him, she’s too old to be lashing out online like this, and went too far by dissing the mother of his first two children.

Rowdy Rebel Reveals Why He Dissed Real Boston Richey

During a recent interview with Off The Porch uploaded on Friday (October 20), Rowdy Rebel and fellow rapper OnPointLikeOp explained some new rap beef they found themselves in. Moreover, the two explained why they chose to diss Real Boston Richey on the song “Fed Time,” which already got a response. Specifically, Rebel stated that he simply just wanted to do so, although he welcomes Richey taking the time and energy to start a conversation and engage with his remarks. On the other hand, Op added on that this is real hip-hop, since it’s about social issues and competing with your colleagues in the game much like 50 Cent would do.

“I made a comment because I wanted to,” Rowdy Rebel expressed. “I rap, I do what I want to do.” “Like, I feel like that’s real rap,” OnPointLikeOp elaborated. “That’s some 50 Cent s**t. We just bringing back real rap. If you don’t like it, it is what it is, it’s a bar. I feel like everybody agrees when they hear it, so it’s like, f**k it.” Check out their remarks around the 21:20 mark of the video below.

Rowdy Rebel Elaborates On Real Boston Richey Diss

“I was in the stu’, coming up with lines, and I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s dope,’” Rowdy Rebel went on. “‘Oh, this line fire right here.’ A lot of s**t be going on in the hood. Something can happen with one of the bros. So it was like, ‘Aight, I’m cutting him off.’ N***as be saying some funny s**t, like, ‘Cut that n***a off,’ like, if he was their boy. So I’m throwing that in the line. I didn’t really want to beef with you, you feel me? I don’t care, but don’t play with me. I don’t care [about the response]. Ain’t finna go back and forth on the rap. It was cool for him to come back, though. ‘Killers in New York,’ okay! Tell them to pop out.”

Meanwhile, what do you think about all this? Is this a warranted diss or did it go too far? However you may feel, let us know in the comments down below. Also, for more news and the latest updates on Rowdy Rebel and Real Boston Richey, stick around on HNHH.

Cole Bennett Appears To Respond To Sommer Ray Diss

During a recent N3on stream, Sommer Ray claimed that she’s slept with Cole Bennett. The Instagram model also shared that she doesn’t sleep with well-known people, later whispering that Bennett isn’t “famous.” Though Ray’s revelation was an accident, as she forgot she was wearing a microphone, it’s sparked some debate surrounding the Lyrical Lemonade founder’s notoriety.

While Bennett’s well-established career as a music video director has certainly gained him the respect of his peers, it seems as though Ray wouldn’t exactly consider him a household name. Regardless, he appears to be unbothered amid the whole debacle. Recently, he took to Twitter to share a message with followers, and many think it was a response.

Cole Bennett Seems To Want Out Of The Drama

“If it’s not about art, leave me out of the conversation,” the 27-year-old wrote yesterday. It’s unconfirmed whether or not his message was actually a response to Ray’s comments. It’s clear, however, that Bennett would rather focus on his work than gossip surrounding his love life. He’s surely been busy, recently dropping off a new music video for Drake’s For All The Dogs track “Another Late Night” featuring Lil Yachty. He teamed up with Yachty again in August to create a visual for his single “TESLA.”

Last year, he also appeared on the Full Send Podcast, where he reflected on working alongside Kanye West on YNW Melly’s “Mixed Personalities” video shoot. As expected, he claimed that it wasn’t all that easy. “Kanye hits me the night it’s supposed to drop – the night before – and he’s like, ‘let’s make the video black and white,’” he recalled. “I said we have to think about Melly here. It’s his song at the end of the day. It’s his vision. He’s also not here to have an input on it.” What do you think of Sommer Ray’s diss? Do you think Cole Bennett’s Tweet was a response? Bad Bunny’s “THUNDER Y LIGHTNING” Diss Leaves J Balvin Confused: Watch

While Drake took his time teasing us with a lengthy rollout for his For All The Dogs album, Bad Bunny is taking the opposite approach with his new LP. Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Mañana arrived on DSPs on Friday (October 13) after the “Tarot” hitmaker first announced its impending debut on Monday (October 9). Now that many music lovers have had a chance to listen, reactions to the lengthy effort have been pouring in. Some are from other recording artists who didn’t expect to hear Benito mentioning them by name in his lyrics.

Fellow Latin rhymer J Balvin is one such example. As Uproxx reports, on “THUNDER Y LIGHTNING,” Bunny raps, “Thunder, lightning, yo soy un astro, Ricky Martin / Ustedes me han visto, to mis temas están charting / Ustedes me han visto, siempre ando con los mismo / Mientras ustedes son amigos de to el mundo como Balvin.” When translated to English, the lyrics read, “Thunder, lightning, I am a star, Ricky Martin / You’ve seen me, all my songs are charting / You’ve seen me, I always walk with the same people / While you are friends of the whole world like Balvin.”

Bad Bunny Name Drops J Balvin on His New Album

From the sounds of things, Benito sees himself as more loyal than Balvin, who’s apparently a bit too friendly for his liking. In the hours after the album’s arrival the latter jumped on Instagram Live to share his thoughts. Rolling Stone reporter Julyssa Lopez translated his reaction, which was notably mature.

“I think he’s an excellent artist. The person I know is a great person. We supported each other mutually, we made history, and we also created a new story within music. I don’t understand what was going through his head but, well, the guy I know is a good person,” Balvin declared of his “Mi Gente” collaborator.
