Melle Mel and Eminem have been embroiled in a bit of a feud as of late. Overall, it started when the former came out and said some things about Em and his place in hip-hop. These comments were quite controversial but by no means the worst thing that Em has heard. Regardless, Eminem decided to respond on someone else’s track. As we reported, Eminem hopped on “Realest,” a new song by Ez Mil, one of Em’s latest signees. It was here where he dropped scathing bars directed at Mel.

Earlier in the week, the legendary pioneer took to his Instagram and revealed that he was preparing a response to Eminem. As you can imagine, many were interested to see what kind of bars he would come with. Em can be an easy target at times, and there are plenty of avenues to launch a diss. Last night, Melle Mel dropped the diss track which was only 73 seconds in length. You can listen to it below.

Melle Mel Fights Back

Unfortunately for Mel, a lot of people were not feeling the diss track. While there were certainly some interesting bars to digest, some were underwhelmed by both the production and the flows. Overall, coming through with a diss track can be tough. People are expecting the best, and if you don’t bring the best, then you will get some heat for it. As you can see from the Twitter reactions below, Melle Mel actually got hit with some pretty brutal critiques.

Melle Mel Hits Back At Eminem’s “Realest” Diss Track: Stream

After hearing what Eminem said about him on Ez Mil’s “Realest” single, Melle Mel is finally hitting back. On Tuesday (August 8) afternoon, the hip-hop veteran chiefly shared his response to the Detroit native on YouTube. Beforehand, he shared a teaser with fans on Instagram to generate plenty of buzz. “No apologies, this ain’t a disclaimer / I’m the king of legend, the first hall of famer,” Mel firstly rhymes in the clip. “Makin’ diss tracks, I know you with that / Now everybody get ready for the kickback.” At the end of the brief clip, he asks Em, “Why you hurt?”

As HipHopDX points out, it was only a few months ago that Melle speculated that the 8 Mile actor has only been so successful due to his skin colour. “Hip Hop has been good to me, huh / But when they say that I’m only Top 5 ’cause I’m white, why would I be stunned?” Slim Shady recently rapped before name-dropping his nemesis directly. “I’ll be the last to toy with a juice head whose brain is half destroyed like a meteor hit it / Now with Melle Mel, he lost his ass to ‘roids.”

Melle Mel Has a Response for Slim Shady

Upon dropping his video this evening, Mel’s highly anticipated diss for the “Mockingbird” artist was revealed. Unfortunately, it’s left many listeners predicting that Eminem won’t even bother to respond. “Yo, check your man. Come look at your friend ‘cuz I think that Eminem is popping pills again,” he spits midway through the brief video above.

“I never thought it was possible to make a worse diss than Nick Cannon [did] to Em,” one person markedly wrote in the comments. “Today, I was proven wrong. Murder Inc. Exec Recalls “Throwing Down” Over 50 Cent’s Ja Rule Diss Tracks

During a recent podcast appearance, Murder Inc. Records marketing executive Dex Diamond recalled beef between Ja Rule and 50 Cent. Though the two still remain rivals, when their issues were at their peak, things sometimes ended in violence. Dex Diamond detailed some of what he experienced on the road with Ja Rule on the Back Stories Podcast.

“These DJs thought it was a game and they was playing diss records while we there,” he explained. The executive continued, “While we in the club, they go from the commercial shit, they go into the diss records ’cause they think it’s a game.” Dex Diamond went on to reveal that things would get physical when DJs disrespected Ja Rule. “We was tappin’ n***as a*ses,” he explained. The exec then showed the interviewer a hand injury. He says, “This was from throwing down in f***in’ Miami and sh*t.” “We walkin’ down Ocean [Drive] and a bunch of muthaf***as, with all of us there, talkin’ bout G-G-G-G-Unit and try to snuff a n***a,” he continued, “next thing there’s five-on-five and sh*t.” By the sound of things, the tension got pretty serious.

Dex Diamond Says DJs “Thought It Was A Game”

Though the feud has simmered down in recent years, the two artists took shots at each other last month. At Ja Rule’s recent performance at Nelly’s Toronto Hot In Herre Festival, he faked a medical emergency. He was brought onto the stage on a stretcher. Upon being “revived,” he said, “Ayo, let these n***as know who I am,” adding, “I’m one of the three, n***a!” “LOL WTF,” 50 Cent later wrote on social media, “I ain’t gotta say sh*t stupid [ninja emoji]’s SMH.”

Ja Rule took to social media to clap back, and it’s clear he was not pleased with 50 Cent’s comments. “@50cent You’re like an obsessed side b***h,” he wrote on Twitter. Ja Rule later told Fif to, “Do me a favor and TAKE MY D**K OUT YOUR MOUTH!!! Pause.”

Pusha T’s Response Diss Track To Jim Jones Surfaces, But It’s A.I.-Generated

The Pusha T and Jim Jones beef is shaping up to be one of the most high-profile and interesting of the year so far. Moreover, that’s because there isn’t really a beef at all, and is instead more of a battle of skill, relevance, and artistry that’s based purely on wax. Still, a lot of that potential hasn’t yet seen the light of day, as the Clipse member still hasn’t responded on wax to Jones’ diss track. Apparently, fans got a little too desperate for it, and one tech whiz in particular took matters into their own hands. Furthermore, an A.I.-generated response track to the Dipset MC surfaced online, and a lot of fans didn’t realize it was fake.

Even though this isn’t Pusha T’s actual response, there are still some fiery digs at Jim Jones throughout. “This s**t is an easy kill, n***as 40 plus twisting they fingers still,” the fake Push raps. “Duck the RICO, we know that n***a squealed, FBI agent with a damn record deal. Red flag waving, banging, boy chill.” Sure, the voice on this record sounds pretty similar, but it’s also relatively easy to distinguish when compared to some other A.I. models of artists.

A.I.-Generated Response To Jim Jones From “Pusha T”

“Jimmy hiding something he got his record sealed, 6ix9ine ain’t the only one working the field,” the Pusha T-impersonating model continues. “We heard them phone taps, you Nicki Barnes, for real, stick to reality TV before I become your new damn Mandeecees. You got drip but your cornrows stay peezy, you hated on French and did Max B greasy.” What’s more is that this fake diss track even mentions Jim Jones as the rapper after Drake that Push will put in a grave.

For those unaware, this all started when Jones responded to Billboard‘s top 50 rappers list and disagreed with Push being on there. After he threw some subliminal disses on an unreleased Clipse song previewed at Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton fashion show, the New York rapper responded with a full diss. Hopefully this fake response didn’t divert the Virginia native from his path in this beef, regardless of which path he chose. Boosie Badazz, Redman, and Erick Sermon all weighed in on the ongoing feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones on the red carpet at the 2023 BET Awards. Speaking with HipHopDX, the two gave their reactions to the recent battle between both rappers.

When Boosie was asked about Jones’ diss track, he replied: “No, I didn’t hear it, but I heard he didn’t like the verse right?… I don’t know [who would win]. That [battle] would be a good one though.” Redman added: “I heard some of Pusha T’s joint, but I ain’t hear Jim yet – but I know when Jim puts his mind to it, he goes in.”

The battle between Jim Jones and Pusha T began back in April when Jones argued that Billboard shouldn’t have included Pusha on its “Top 50 Greatest Rappers” list. The comment stuck with Pusha, who responded by dissing Jones in a new Clipse track debuted at Pharrell’s first Louis Vuitton show, last week. Jones eventually dropped a diss track aimed at Pusha in response.

Boosie and Redman aren’t the only ones to weigh in on the Pusha T-Jim Jones battle. Charlamagne recently said that Jones’ diss wasn’t enough to beat Pusha T. “I don’t think that’s enough,” he said. “I think if you shoot at Pusha, you just gotta go ahead and drop the nuke. You can’t just shoot. You just gotta go ahead and drop the nuke now. That’s what Pusha’s gonna do, if Pusha replies. Jim Jones Calls Out Pusha T & No Malice On Joe Budden’s Podcast

Jim Jones further attacked Pusha T and No Malice while calling into the latest episode of The Joe Budden Podcast. Amid their ongoing feud, Jones recently expanded his war of words from just Pusha T, to both members of the Clipse duo. Despite personal attacks from both sides, Jones says everything is “all fun and games” and “a true display of wordery.”

“Who’s gonna spin the block for him? Is Pharrell gonna spin the block for him? Is Malice gonna say a prayer? Who’s gonna spin the block for him?” Capo asked. “I’m talking about musically, too. I ain’t talking about thug shit — we already know I can do that. Who he got that’s gon’ spin the block for him? Malice is a preacher who works at Walmart.”

From there, he addressed Pusha T directly: “That n***a’s a worker. He’s still not a boss. He still has to answer to everybody in his circle.” He further clarified that the conflict is “a rap battle” not “rap beef.” He explained: “This is about pure music and styling, and he don’t got it. You always wanted to be a New York n***a; you from VA, the suburbs.”

The feud between Pusha T and Jim Jones began when the Dipset rapper argued that Pusha shouldn’t have been on Billboard‘s Top 50 Greatest Rappers of All Time list. He explained himself during an interview on the Rap Caviar Podcast in April. “What has he done that puts him in the greatest rappers of all time besides talk about coke that he probably didn’t get himself?” Jones said at the time.

Charlamagne Tha God Says He’s Not Sure Jim Jones’ Response To Pusha T Was Enough

Charlamagne says that he’s not confident Jim Jones’ recent response to Pusha T will be enough. The Dipset rapper released a track dissing Pusha on Saturday night. In the lyrics, he targets Pusha’s fashion sense, his relevancy in hip-hop, and his Clipse partner, No Malice. Charlamagne spoke about the effort on The Breakfast Club, Monday morning.

“I don’t think that’s enough,” he said. “I think if you shoot at Pusha, you just gotta go ahead and drop the nuke. You can’t just shoot. You just gotta go ahead and drop the nuke now. That’s what Pusha’s gonna do, if Pusha replies. If we’re looking at the way Pusha has replied before, Pusha gonna drop a nuke off top.”

Jim Jones Responds To Pusha T In New Diss Track

Jim Jones fired back at Pusha T in a new diss track released on Saturday night. The Clipse rapper had called him out in a song that debuted at Pharrell’s first Louis Vuitton show, earlier this week. A preview of Jones’ response originally found its way online, Friday, showcasing lyrics suggesting that Pusha T sells crack to his older sibling and Clipse partner, No Malice.

In the full song, Jones goes even further, targeting Pusha’s fashion sense, calling him overrated, and more. “That shit was trash we gonna let them get a do over/They got you gassed, they must think you’re the new Hova/You a 4.0, n***a, I jumped in the new rover/Your brother still jumping on the bed, tell him ‘Move over,’” Jones raps at one point, as noted by Complex.

Jones once again referenced the ranking on Instagram while reacting to Pusha’s diss track. “That was not a top 50 verse,” he said. “Not at all. Still not in my top 50.”

Lil Baby Appears To Take Shots At Gunna In New Song

Yesterday, a clip of Lil Baby shooting a music video for a forthcoming song hit the internet. More than the video or the song itself most fans honed in on a particular lyric. “Some n*ggas taking pleas at trial I know that slime ain’t happy.” reads one of the bars he delivers in the snippet. As if there was any question as to who he was referencing “taking please” he is sure to add in the line “slime ain’t happy.” Slime references Young Thug who is still incarcerated after being denied bond repeatedly.

Dozens of rappers have taken issue with Gunna’s reported snitching in the months since the story first broke. Most recently Lil Durk took shots at the rapper on a podcast appearance saying “that man told.” But Lil Baby taking aim at Gunna is a particularly damning condemnation. The pair rose to stardom together behind their hit song “Drip Too Hard” from their collaborative album Drip Harder. They continued appearing on each other’s songs for years. Lil Baby makes an appearance on Gunna’s 2022 album DS4EVER on the track “25k jacket.”

Lil Baby Takes A Shot At Gunna

Earlier this month, Gunna released the lead single from his new album “bread & butter.” On the song, he reiterates his love for Young Thug but also makes sure to aim back at those who’ve turned their backs on him. While he doesn’t mention anyone by name, fans quickly realized it was likely Lil Durk and Lil Baby he was talking about. That song served as the lead single for Gunna’s a Gift & a Curse album which dropped just last week. While the album doesn’t take many direct shots it does see Gunna often defending himself.

Back in May, Lil Baby released his first new single of 2023 “Go Hard.” It followed up his massive It’s Only Me album last year. The album had features from Young Thug, Future, Nardo Wick, and more. Wack 100 Responds To Gucci Mane’s Diss

Wack 100 has responded to Gucci Mane’s recent diss with an Instagram post, teasing the release of his own diss track. Gucci had joked about Wack 100’s proclivity towards arguing on the internet in the recent song, “Bluffin,” featuring Lil Baby. Gucci dropped the track, earlier this week.

“You dissed me huh,” Wack wrote on Instagram. “I heard dat shit .. Wack100 Diss track response coming in 2 days ‘KNOCK OFF GUCCI’ IM REALY THE MANE! Sit down nay sayers we’re family Go stream dat shit NOW.” Fans had mixed responses in the comments section. One brought up Gucci’s past: “Gucci need to chill he told on Jeezy back in the day.” Another commented: “I figured it’s all love cause you woulda been on somebody top immediately.”

As for what Gucci Mane initially said, he rapped: “I want my M’s up to one, two, three, four, five one-hundred / I ain’t arguin’ on the internet, I’m not Wack 100.” “Bluffin” arrives ahead of Gucci Mane’s highly-anticipated 15th studio album, Breath of Fresh Air. The Atlanta rapper has said that he expects to drop the project in the fall.

He recently spoke about what fans will be in store for during an interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music 1. “Ever since, I guess November of when Dolph passed away and my artist Scarr passing away and TakeOff passing away and Pooh locked up and Foo locked up, that’s why I kind of named my album A Breath of Fresh Air,” Gucci Mane said.
