One could only imagine that meeting other notable folks wouldn’t be such a significant moment after you’ve achieved a certain level of fame. Well, that isn’t true for “Lift Me Up” singer Rihanna. As a global music superstar, Rihanna has rubbed shoulders with the who’s-who of the world, from other musicians to high-ranking political officials. But when Rihanna ran into Thor: Love And Thunder actress Natalie Portman, she couldn’t maintain her cool.

On January 22, the two had an adorable exchange while attending the Dior Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week 2024. In a clip captured by onlookers, Rihanna, the self-proclaimed bad gyal, dubbed Portman with a similar title. “I am a f*cking fan,” she said. “You’re one of the hottest b*tches in Hollywood forever. You do the most innocent look, and I’m like, ‘Ahhhh!’”

Stunned that Rihanna was starstruck, Portman couldn’t do anything but smile as she gathered her thoughts. Eventually, she worked up the confidence to say: “I’m going to blackout. I love you, and I listen to your music all the time.”

Unlocking her true inner fangirl, Rihanna asked Portman if they could grab a pic to savor the moment. “Can somebody take a picture,” she said. “So I, like, remember this happened tomorrow?”

Users online unanimously agreed with Portman’s coronation into the baddies society.

“Two queens coming together for a joint slay,” wrote one user.

“Natalie Portman is really gorgeous,” penned another.

“Here for this content,” chimed in another, moved by the interaction.

Akon Wore Fake Dior On “Drink Champs” Interview For Clicks, He Admits

Akon’s known to sometimes twist the truth for the sake of more engagement online, down to the details of his fit. Moreover, a lot of people noticed his fake Dior “Drio” jacket for his interview on N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN’s Drink Champs. While this isn’t an outright lie, it did prompt people to question whether this was a legitimate choice or if he just never noticed that the letters were flipped. Regardless, we now know, at least according to the Senegal-raised artist, this was all part of the plan to garner more interest in his interview. When speaking to French Montana, he answered his question about the jacket in earnest (hopefully).

“I knew I knew that s**t was going to raise engagement,” Akon responded to French Montana’s style inquiries. Furthermore, the 50-year-old singer said that he got the jacket from “one of [his] Africans.” “It just takes for one person to notice, and it’s gone’ go cr*zy on the internet,” he continued. “It sure did exactly what we wanted it to.” It’s ironic because, in a previous instance, Akon gifted French a fake watch that he got scammed for.

French Montana Presses Akon Over “Drio” Jacket

During that Drink Champs interview, the hitmaker also joked about how he would lie about being an African prince. “I used the excuse that I was a survivor, because it made me feel better about it,” Akon confessed. “But there was nothing for me to survive. Because my parents was actually really wealthy. I was living in New Jersey. We lived in a three-story house, just me and my older brother. So when I think about it, we were just bored as hell.

“I think a lot of my choices came from wanting to be accepted, you know?” he continued. “So that’s how I got caught into all the things that I got caught into, including cars. Because cars made me feel special. I was young, I could drive with the most elite vehicles, and I ran with the scenario that I was an African prince. After Coming to America, I was like, ‘S***iiit!’ That’s what motivated it!” For more news and the latest updates on Akon, keep checking in with HNHH.

Offset Channels Michael Jackson For Dior Fashion Show

Offset showed off another bold look yesterday at Dior’s Paris Fashion Week menswear runway show. The artist channeled Michael Jackson, sporting a black military-style jacket with red details and gold buttons. He paired the jacket with a pair of blue jeans and a flashy gold belt buckle. The rapper also finished off the look with a pair of black gloves and some shades. The Dior fashion show featured models rising up from the floor to walk the runway.

Offset rocked another outfit inspired by the “Bad” artist last month. He attended the premiere of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse with his three sons, and the family wore coordinating outfits. His three children wore black leather, while Offset wore a red satin jacket. The rapper’s outfit was decorated with countless buckles and studs. He, again, paired the outfit with a pair of black gloves. Offset also recently accompanied his two daughters, Kalea and Kulture, at the premier of The Little Mermaid. The trio walked the carpet, and fans loved their looks. Offset was seen in another bold jacket reminiscent of MJ, while his daughters wore extravagant, princess-inspired gowns.

Offset Shows Off The Look At Paris Fashion Week

Another artist to turn heads at this year’s Paris Fashion Week was Pharrell. He debuted his first collection on the runway as creative director of Louis Vuitton’s menswear earlier this week. He was also spotted at the Dior show, rocking some miniature sunglasses and a pricey bag. The yellow Louis Vuitton Speedy he’s been seen wearing is estimated to cost somewhere around $1 million.

Offset performed at Pharrell’s debut as Head of Menswear at Louis Vuitton. He performed “Ric Flair Drip,” from his album with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, Without Warning. The event also featured a hit-filled performance by Jay-Z. Pharrell’s fashion show saw the support of countless other celebrity guests. Beyonce, Rihanna, Jay-Z, and more made appearances. Offset was photographed at the runway show alongside both Pharrell, Jay-Z, and more.

Johnny Depp Snags Historic $20 Million Deal With Dior

Johnny Depp is reportedly set to make history with a new three-year deal with Dior, according to Variety and Complex. The deal, which is said to be worth more than $20 million, will extend Depp’s longstanding partnership with the brand. A source close to the situation has confirmed the details of the deal with Complex. The brand was one of the few who stood with Johnny Depp throughout the allegations made by his ex-wife.

The reported value of the deal surpasses Robert Pattinson’s estimated $12 million deal with Dior Homme. Pattinson had previously held the record for the biggest deal with a fragrance. However, with Depp’s deal reportedly being upwards of $20 million, it is now the biggest men’s fragrance deal ever made. When approached for comment by Complex, a representative for Depp declined to comment. Apparently, Complex has reached out to a Dior representative for comment. While it does not appear set in stone just yet, it is a huge step forward for Depp in regaining control of his career and public image.

Johnny Depp’s Disastrous Divorce

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard were in a highly publicized and contentious relationship that ended in divorce. In 2020, Depp sued the British newspaper The Sun for libel over a 2018 article that referred to him as a “wife-beater.” A British court ruled in Depp’s favor, stating that the newspaper had not proven its allegations to be substantially true. However, Heard maintained her allegations and spoke publicly about her experiences. The case garnered widespread media attention and led to a lot of discussion about domestic abuse and the role of the media in reporting on such cases. Last year, the drama reached a head in a new lawsuit that took place stateside.

In 2022, Johnny Depp won a libel lawsuit against his former partner Amber Heard. The case received a lot of media attention. In the end, both sides contested related judgments in two appeals that have since been settled. After the trial, Depp made several high-profile public appearances, including a guest appearance in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4. Despite some criticism of his resurgence in the aftermath of the Heard case, there are no signs that Depp’s public appearances are slowing down. He is set to lead the film Jeanne du Barry, which will open the 2023 Cannes Film Festival this month.

Travis Scott’s Planned Cactus Jack Collaboration With Dior Has Been Postponed ‘Indefinitely’

In the wake of the tragedy at the Astroworld Festival this past November, Travis Scott, the face of the fest, has come under scrutiny for his role in the deaths of ten people during and following a crowd crush during his headlining set. As a result, a number of his business partnerships have come to an end, including his Cactus Jack seltzer collaboration with Anheuser-Busch, while he’s been dropped from festivals like Coachella in the weeks since. Today, Travis’ brand was dealt another blow, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

In a statement to WWD, luxury fashion house Dior, which had planned a capsule collection collaboration with Travis’ Cactus Jack label, announced that the collaboration has been put on hold for the foreseeable future. “Out of respect for everyone affected by the tragic events at Astroworld, Dior has decided to postpone indefinitely the launch of products from the Cactus Jack collaboration originally intended to be included in its summer 2022 collection,” the statement reads. According to WWD, the collection would have been the brand’s first with a musician, as well as the first time it would allow its logo to be altered. From the looks of things, the brand will likely think twice before signing on for another collaboration, no matter how big the artist’s footprint happens to be.

Until Astroworld, Travis had one of the biggest footprints in music, with partnerships with McDonald’s, Nike, Sony PlayStation, and more elevating a personal brand that was rapidly becoming inescapable. However, with the deaths at Astroworld Fest still fresh in the minds of both businesses and fans, Travis’ immediate future has become uncertain, and a slew of lawsuits could change his fortunes in a hurry.
