Ice Spice & Alexander Wang Collab Unveils Massive Inflatable Of Rapper In New York City

Ice Spice’s Alexander Wang collab is making itself known no matter where you are in New York City, as a giant inflatable of the rapper wearing the fashion collection strolled through the Big Apple’s streets on Saturday (April 6). Moreover, it follows her creative and curious promotional moves throughout her career so far, and lines up with her own statements on this stylish team-up. “As an artist, I’m always challenging myself on how I can contribute to culture in a way that drives things forward, and Alexander Wang is a great vehicle for that, with this incredibly bold and global campaign,” the Bronx MC stated via a press release.

What’s more is that Ice Spice’s presence in New York isn’t only due to her hometown status, her promo moves, or her generally massive profile as an artist, but also something measurable on a Richter scale. Folks may have caught her Twitter joke about causing the 4.8 earthquake that recently hit certain East Coast cities because “this a** be clappin.” It led to some pretty amused reactions online as folks debated what was the most affected area of the natural event. All we can hope for is that folks did the due diligence to identify the harm and loss caused before getting into the memes.

Elsewhere, though, Ice Spice is also standing by her love for another Bronx icon, one who many fans thought she was at odds with due to her loyalty to Nicki Minaj. But as it turns out, she and Cardi B have a lot to come together through, and this rightfully dismisses the notion that there can’t be mediators in rap beef. They recently discussed their Dominican heritage due to Bardi getting into a Twitter spat with content creator Raymonté over her racial ambiguity. Overall, it was just nice to see that things don’t have to be as combative as the headlines portray.

Meanwhile, we wonder whether there will be similar reconciliation with the likes of Latto, as they crossed paths at the iHeartRadio Awards recently. She and Spice have been at the center of beef rumors for a while now with some notable links, so it’s a bit of a tougher sell than the purely speculative nature of a Cardi B rift. Nevertheless, if you’re around NYC, you might spot this Alexander Wang collab in full, inflatable glory, regardless of whose “side” you’re on. Ice Spice Will Hit New York City In A Super-Sized Collaboration With Alexander Wang

Earlier this month, fashion brand Alexander Wang announced their new collaboration with Ice Spice. The breakthrough rapper had a viral moment last year during her appearance at the MET Gala. And now she’s once again dipping her toes into fashion by serving as an ambassador for the brand. But now according to HipHopDX they’ve announced the next step in their collaboration and it’s a big one. According to a new press release, they’re hitting NYC with an impossible to ignore promotion next month.

“Starting in Times Square, a super-sized inflatable of Ice Spice will drive around NYC for the whole day, offering city-dwellers a look at Alexander Wang’s latest collection and campaign. The inflatable will be driven throughout the city, hitting up high-foot traffic areas for all to see,” their press release reads. It’s reportedly due to get underway on April 6. The ambition mirrors what Spice herself was seeking in her statement earlier this month. “As an artist, I’m always challenging myself on how I can contribute to culture in a way that drives things forward, and Alexander Wang is a great vehicle for that with this incredibly bold and global campaign,” she said. Check out their collaboration announcement below.

Earlier this week, Ice Spice became the most recent celeb to appear on Hot Ones. The famous interview show puts celebs to the test while they’re forced to taste test increasingly hot wings. While Spice held up admirably, she eventually caved to the heat and had to tap out.

Earlier this month, Ice Spice stepped out wearing a Dolce look at the Oscars. Some fans criticized the look for being predictable or plain, but Spice took to twitter to clap back at the haters shortly after. What do you think of Ice Spice teaming up with Alexander Wang? Do you think driving a giant version of the rapper around New York is a good way to promote the new line? Let us know in the comment section below.

Ice Spice Bares Her Booty In New Snapchat Pictures Of Her “Favorite” Look

Ice Spice recently modeled for Alexander Wang’s new campaign, and she took to Snapchat to show off her favorite look from the collection. In a series of sultry snaps, she looks back at it for a mirror selfie baring her behind and shows off the leathery and rectangular top that the first pic didn’t show off. Of course, this left fans practically drooling in comments sections on social media, replies on that specific platform, and elsewhere given their infatuation with her. However, the Bronx rapper’s built quite the ravenous fanbase not because of her looks (although that’s a plus), but because of her ability to connect with them on a relatable, catchy, appreciative, and consistent level.

Regardless, you may be wondering who uses Snapchat anymore, but a lot of celebrities have recently invited their fans to return to the platform. Ice Spice herself did so with her other social media followers, and posted more everyday and quotidian stuff on there. Still, she did not turn down the heat when it comes to folks’ obsession with her beauty. Just goes to show that you can express your identity in different ways; some people want the cleaned-up IG photoshoot collage, and others just want a video of you making ramen in pajamas.

Ice Spice’s Steamy New Snapchat Pics

But none of that matters, because the 24-year-old recently announced that she finished recording her debut album Y2K. Die-hards couldn’t be more excited about the release, as it marks a turning point in her career where she’ll either fully solidify herself as an important face this generation or stick to her viral and, at this point, very safe guns that made her popular. Folks who believe in Ice Spice’s talent, ability, and perspective are wishing for the former outcome, whereas skeptics think she’ll never overcome the latter. Either way, it will likely be one of the year’s biggest cultural releases in music. We’ll see if the same applies commercially and critically.

Meanwhile, speaking of reaching new commercial or critical highs, the “Princess Diana” hitmaker recently thanked her idol, who remixed that song, for opening that door for her. “’Princess Diana’ with Nicki [was my favorite hit of the year],” she told Billboard. “Because I felt like ‘Princess Diana’ was already my best song on [Like…?]. But then it didn’t chart or anything until Nicki got on it. I was just so happy to have both of those worlds where I felt like it was culturally a great song, but also it charted. And then I had my dream collab fulfilled at the same time.” For more news and the latest updates on Ice Spice, log back into HNHH.

Ice Spice Stuns In Futuristic Alexander Wang Photo Shoot

Ice Spice was one of the biggest breakout stars of 2023 and she doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Earlier this year she released her new single “Think U The Sh*t (Fart).” While the track made waves for its viral chorus it settled down into a stable hit. The track has racked up more than 44 million streams on Spotify and sits at number 72 on the Hot 100 this week. But music isn’t the only lane she’s making her name in.

Last year, Spice won many fans over with her appearance at the Met Gala. Alongside her rapidly rising star-power, she gave adorable interviews and showed up in a stunning fit. She’s continued the fashion collaborations ever since and the newest is a particularly stunning crossover with Alexander Wang. The shoot sees Ice Spice posing with various props like a mirror suspended over her body and even a sleek motorcycle. Some of the top comments on the post point out just how hard it is to focus on the bike with Spice herself stealing the show. Check out the pictures and videos from the stunning photo shoot below.

Ice Spice Climbs On A Morotcycle For Alexander Wang Shoot

Earlier this year, Ice Spice confirmed that she’s working on her debut album and it’s due for release in 2024. She revealed that the album would be called Y2K which is fitting given her birthday is January 1st, 2000. Earlier this week she revealed that she had finished her work on the album. Fans interpreted the message as meaning that it could be arriving sooner rather than later, though she didn’t officially confirm any kind of timeline.

Another hint that the album announcement could be on the way soon is Spice’s new website. The retro feel gave fans immediate Y2K vibes and rumors about the album have been swirling since. What do you think of Ice Spice’s new photo shoot for Alexander Wang? Are you excited for her new album dropping later this year? Let us know in the comment section below.

Julia Fox Responds To Alexander Wang Backlash

Julia Fox has responded to the backlash she’s received for walking on the runway for Alexander Wang at New York Fashion Week. Multiple people have accused the disgraced designer of sexual assault over the years. Wang’s show was not officially listed as an event for New York Fashion Week. However, over 150 guests still attended his runway show, including Anna Wintour, Nikita Dragun, and Ava Max. Fox remarked in a TikTok on Wang’s page that her outfit made her feel “like a sexy siren, ready to suck souls.”

After receiving backlash online for her affiliation with Wang, Fox responded in a comment on TikTok. She admitted that she feels Wang has put in the work to better himself as a person. She wrote: “I love cancel culture but we do need to leave room for rehabilitation and for those who put in the work and heal and learn from their mistakes.”

Wang originally addressed the allegations back in 2021, promising to “set a better example” and “do better” going forward. He also met with 11 of his accusers. He wrote in his statement: “A number of individuals have come forward recently to raise claims against me regarding my past personal behavior. I support their right to come forward, and I’ve listened carefully to what they had to say. It was not easy for them to share their stories, and I regret acting in a way that caused them pain. While we disagree on some of the details of these personal interactions, I will set a better example and use my visibility and influence to encourage others to recognize harmful behaviors. Life is about learning and growth, and now that I know better, I will do better.”

Wang had his first fashion show post-allegations last year in Los Angeles. The new show is Wang’s first showing at New York Fashion Week in three years. In L.A., models Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrósio walked for him.
