Diageo Retains Full Ownership Rights of Ciroc and DeLeón Brands in Settlement with Diddy

Diddy Partners with DJ Khaled to Announce New 'Diddy Direct' Platform

The lawsuit between Diageo and Sean “Diddy” Combs has reached a settlement, which includes the HIp-Hop mogul agreeing to withdraw all allegations and dismissing his lawsuits.

The two released a joint public statement to The Source:

Sean Combs and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice. Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.

No further details of the settlement were revealed.

In June 2023, Diageo PLC severed ties with Sean “Diddy” Combs after the Bad Boy mogul filed a lawsuit stating the company ignored the jointly owned DeLeon tequila brand. Diageo also houses Diddy’s Ciroc.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Diageo allegedly directed its attention to two other tequila brands, one of which is the George Clooney-led Casamigos. Included in the suit, Diddy notes Diageo exhibits racial discrimination by placing DeLeón in the “urban” category and also referring to the tequila as a “Black brand.”

At the time, Diageo called for the lawsuits to be dismissed and cut a deal with Combs. A Diageo spokesperson released a statement to The Source:

We are saddened that Mr. Combs has chosen to recast a business dispute as anything other than that and chosen to damage a productive and valued partnership. Mr. Combs’ bad-faith actions have clearly breached his contracts and left us no choice but to move to dismiss his baseless complaint and end our business relationship. Mr. Combs has repeatedly undermined our partnerships and threatened to publicly defame Diageo if we did not meet his unreasonable financial demands.

Diageo believes strongly in the CIRÔC and DeLeón brands and remains committed to their success, which is why we tried for years to salvage the broken relationship with Mr. Combs. We funded the purchase of DeLeón for the joint venture and proceeded to invest more than $100 million to grow the brand. Despite having made nearly a billion dollars over the course of our 15-year relationship, Mr. Combs contributed a total of $1,000 and refused to honor his commitments.

We have exhausted every reasonable remedy and see no other path forward.

In the filing, Diageo stated, “In an effort to extract additional billions from Diageo, Combs has resorted to false and reckless allegations, including numerous defamatory and disparaging accusations…”

The filing also read, “Notably, the Combs Parties have not sued Diageo for discrimination, nor could they…”

Diageo also called the case “self-serving” and attempting to press the company into early settlement while leaning the public in Diddy’s support by laying claims that don’t have “legal or factual basis.”

Explosive Audio Submitted as Evidence Alleges Diddy’s Involvement in Tupac Shakur’s Murder

Screen Shot 2024 01 16 at 9.45.18 AM

Explosive audio recordings have been submitted to court as evidence in the murder case of iconic rapper Tupac Shakur, implicating hip hop mogul P Diddy in the assassination. The audio features Duane ‘Keefe D’ Davis, a West Coast gangster and a suspect in Tupac’s murder, boasting about Diddy allegedly orchestrating the hit on the rap legend.

According to reports by The Sun, the chilling 2-hour and 25-minute secret police interview took place in 2008 with LAPD, where Keefe D claimed that Diddy offered him $1 million for Tupac’s assassination. The audio recording, now a key piece of evidence in the murder trial, has surfaced as Las Vegas prosecutors make their case against Keefe D.

In the disturbing tape, Keefe D, 60, can be heard laughing and joking with police about Diddy’s alleged involvement in Tupac’s killing in September 1996 in Las Vegas. The gangster claims that, without firm evidence, he oversaw the fatal shooting of Tupac at the request of Diddy during the mid-1990s.

Keefe alleges that Diddy wanted to eliminate the competition, specifically targeting rival record label boss Suge Knight and Tupac amid the East/West Coast rap wars. The former Compton Crip insists that the million-dollar reward was proposed by Diddy, who has consistently denied any involvement in Tupac’s shooting.

Prosecutors submitted the audio file to highlight Keefe D’s confessions about being a key figure in the murder. However, it is crucial to note that many sections of the tape contain unsubstantiated allegations against Diddy.

In the recording, Keefe D boasts about growing close to Diddy through mutual friend and gangster Eric “Zip” Martin. He details how Puffy discussed his disdain for Knight and allegedly expressed a desire to eliminate both Knight and Tupac. The gang kingpin claims the assassination order was given privately, and Diddy had multiple conversations with him about “killing both of them.”

Tupac was shot on the evening of September 7, 1996, while driving to a club with Knight. Despite Keefe D’s claims of his involvement, Diddy’s alleged connection to the murder remains unproven.

The gangster alleges that he never received payment for the shooting, raising questions about the authenticity of his claims. The submitted audio provides a chilling glimpse into Keefe D’s unremorseful demeanor as he discusses orchestrating the murder of the rap icon.

As the trial unfolds, the shocking revelations in the audio file may reshape the narrative surrounding Tupac Shakur’s tragic death, shedding light on alleged connections within the hip hop industry that have remained hidden for decades.

Chrisean Rock Claims Diddy Put Hands On Zeus CEO, She Reveals Her “Baddies” Salary Demands

Chrisean Rock has become a massive star in the realm of reality television. Of course, her relationship with Blueface is a huge reason for this. Although they are a toxic former couple, they definitely made a lot of money together. Overall, she still stands to make a whole lot of money, even with Blue off to prison for the next six months. However, it seems as though she has found herself in some contentious contract negotiations with the likes of Zeus Network, who host the show Baddies.

On social media, she and Zeus CEO Lemuel Palmer have been going back and forth. Chrisean has vowed to not do the show because she doesn’t think the show is paying her what she actually deserves. This led to a series of Instagram stories from Palmer, who said “we make smart investments. Not emotional, impulsive, or erratic ones.” This subsequently led to a long video from Chrisean in which she explained some of the numbers, and even invoked a story involving none other than Diddy.

As Chrisean explains, the network wants to pay her $100K per episode. However, when she did a recent season while pregnant, she was getting $150K. Furthermore, if she were to come back, she would want somewhere in the range of $200-$300K. As for Diddy, she says Palmer and Chrisean were at a Diddy party one night, and Lemuel went to exchange some pleasantries. Upon thanking Diddy for liking Chrisean, Rock alleges that Diddy grabbed Palmer by the neck and asked if he messed with her too. He then warned Palmer that Chrisean is not to be played with and that she needs to be treated right.

Lemuel Palmer’s Side Of Things

It is unclear what Chrisean’s goal was by delivering this story, however, it is clear she believes it is some sort of leverage. Diddy to Dodge the Grammys, Rep Confirms Mogul Will Not Attend

Diddy Partners with DJ Khaled to Announce New 'Diddy Direct' Platform

Diddy has decided not to attend the 2024 Grammy Awards. In an exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter, Diddy, nominated for the first time in two decades, has confirmed via a representative that he will not attend.

Diddy is nominated for best progressive R&B album for The Love Album: Off the Grid. The last nomination he received was for “Shake Ya Tailfeather” from the Bad Boys II soundtrack, which he won in the best rap performance by a group or duo category.

There was no quote given to THR, other than confirming that Diddy will not be in attendance.

In addition, Yung Miami has a new reality show headed to BET, but don’t expect to see Diddy on it.

According to The Jasmine Brand, BET replaced the scenes from the show that highlight the life of Caresha that featured Diddy amid the fallout of various sexual abuse allegations. To replace the missing scenes, Yung Miami had to record new content.

Yung Miami previously spoke of the project, stating, “I got a reality show coming out, the City Girls dropping an album, my podcast. Just everything.”

The album dropped, so now we have to wait on the show. A date is currently not confirmed.

Diddy’s Former Bodyguard Roger Bonds to Release Tell-All Book Unraveling Kid Cudi’s Car Explosion

Diddy's Former Head of Security on Cassie's Lawsuit

Roger Bonds–former bodyguard to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, has announced the imminent release of a tell-all book that promises to reveal the truth behind the mysterious car explosion involving rapper Kid Cudi. The revelation comes as legal documents from Cassie Ventura’s $30 million civil lawsuit against Diddy suggest that the mogul threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car in retaliation for his romantic involvement with Cassie.

Cassie’s lawsuit, filed last year, alleges that Diddy engaged in threatening behavior and ultimately orchestrated the explosion of Kid Cudi’s car after discovering Cassie’s romantic connection with the rapper. The complaint asserts that Diddy, feeling romantically spurned, frequently reminded Cassie of his ability to cause harm, going as far as requiring her to carry his gun in her purse.

The lawsuit details Cassie’s relationship with Kid Cudi during a challenging period in her connection with Diddy. In 2011, while dating Kid Cudi, Cassie faced violence from Diddy, leading her to seek refuge at Kid Cudi’s house. Diddy allegedly coerced her into returning, where she faced further abuse. In 2012, Diddy reportedly threatened to blow up Kid Cudi’s car, expressing a desire for the rapper to be near the vehicle when it happened. Shortly afterward, Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.

Roger Bonds, having been part of Diddy’s inner circle, is set to spill the details surrounding the controversial incident in his upcoming tell-all book. Bonds recently teased the book on his Instagram page, hinting at the revelations he plans to share with the public.

Diddy’s attorney, Ben Brafman, vehemently denied the allegations in Cassie’s lawsuit, describing them as “offensive and outrageous.” The lawsuit, he claimed, is filled with baseless and false accusations aimed at tarnishing Diddy’s reputation.

As Roger Bonds prepares to release his tell-all book, the public awaits further insights into the surp events surrounding Kid Cudi’s car explosion. Bonds’ book is slated for release next month, promising to uncover new details and perspectives on the explosive incident.

Will Diddy Attend The 2024 Grammys?

On November 10, the Recording Academy unveiled its nominations for the 2024 Grammys. Diddy received his first Grammy nomination for his solo material since 2004, as The Love Album: Off The Grid is up for Best Progressive R&B Album. That’s where the positive news about Diddy ended because, on November 16, Cassie filed a disturbing lawsuit against Diddy alleging physical abuse, rape, and sex trafficking, among other things. That was followed by three other lawsuits alleging similar behavior, all of which Diddy has vehemently denied (despite settling with Cassie within 24 hours).

Will Diddy Attend The 2024 Grammys?

“The severity of the allegations cast a shadow over the artist — and over the awards show that recognized him,” The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reports this morning, January 12. “Diddy’s representative told THR that he won’t attend the Feb. 4 Grammys. Everyone nominated for a Grammy is invited to the show, and the Academy revealed in a Dec. 11 statement to RadarOnline that it is ‘taking this matter very seriously and we are in the process of evaluating it with the time and care that it deserves.’”

In the aftermath of allegations, Diddy stepped down as Chairman at Revolt, which he co-founded in 2013, and Hulu reportedly scrapped its in-development reality show focusing on Diddy and his family.

The 2024 Grammys will be hosted by Trevor Noah at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 4. The ceremony will broadcast live on CBS and stream on Paramount+.

Downfall of Diddy: Yung Miami’s Reality Series Drops Mogul’s Involvement

Diddy

Diddy’s scenes have reportedly been pulled from Yung Miami’s upcoming reality show, A Day in the Life With Miami. The news comes amid the music mogul’s ongoing legal troubles, where he faces multiple sexual assault allegations.

Diddy Scenes Pulled

Yung Miami’s highly-anticipated series, A Day in the Life With Miami, set to air on BET, was expected to feature glimpses into the on-again-off-again relationship between herself and Diddy. However, due to recent lawsuits and allegations against the Bad Boy CEO, his involvement has been completely removed from the show.

Yung Miami, also known as Caresha Brownlee, had been excitedly promoting her upcoming reality show, revealing the project ahead of the 2023 VMA Awards. Fans were eager to learn more about her personal life, including her relationship with Diddy.

However, according to theJasmineBrand, it has now been confirmed that Diddy’s scenes have been completely pulled from the show. The decision to remove Diddy from the reality series comes in the wake of multiple lawsuits filed against him.

A Flood of Lawsuits

In November 2023, Diddy settled a lawsuit from his former girlfriend and artist, Cassie, who accused him of abusive behavior throughout their long-term relationship. The music mogul also faced additional lawsuits from other women who alleged that he sexually assaulted them in the 90s and early 2000s.

The Downfall of Diddy

Despite denying all allegations, these legal troubles have taken a toll on his professional life.

The repercussions of Diddy’s alleged actions have already started to manifest. He has reportedly lost several business deals, and his partnership with Capital Preparatory Schools has come to an end.

Downfall of Diddy: Recording Academy Says They’re ‘Evaluating’ Mogul’s Grammy Invite

The Recording Academy has finally spoken out about the controversy surrounding Diddy’s invite to the 2024 Grammys. The organization’s recent statement follows after several sexual assault allegations were raised against the Bad Boy CEO.

‘We Are Taking This Matter Very Seriously’

The Recording Academy, which oversees the Grammys, released an official statement on December 11 regarding Diddy’s invite to the 2024 Grammys, which will take place on February 4, 2024.

“We are taking this matter very seriously and we are in the process of evaluating it with the time and care that it deserves,” the organization said in a statement to Rolling Stone.

The statement provides some clarity on the situation but leaves unanswered questions about the fate of Diddy’s nomination in the “Best Progressive R&B Album” category for his project The Love Album: Off the Grid. Diddy has faced multiple sexual assault allegations, adding to the controversy surrounding his invite.

The Allegations

In November 2023, his former girlfriend Cassie accused him of sexual assault and abuse, although the lawsuit was settled just a day later. Furthermore, two other women came forward, alleging that the hip-hop mogul had sexually assaulted them in the 1990s.

Additionally, a teenage girl claimed that he had raped her in 2003. These allegations have cast a dark cloud over Diddy’s reputation and have sparked widespread concern within the music industry.

Despite the severity of the allegations, the Grammys’ statement marks the organization’s first public acknowledgment of the situation. The decision regarding Diddy’s invite has become a pressing question as the Grammy night approaches.

Diddy’s E-Commerce Platform ‘Empower Global’ Loses 18 Business Partners

After a flood of sexual abuse allegations, Diddy is facing another major setback. A total of 18 businesses have reportedly decided to sever their relationships with the hip-hop mogul’s e-commerce platform, Empower Global.

Cutting Ties

Following a surge of sexual abuse accusations, Diddy, also known as Sean “Diddy” Combs, has encountered yet another significant obstacle.

Several businesses have decided to terminate their association with Diddy’s e-commerce platform, Empower Global. The platform, designed to support black-owned businesses, was launched in July 2023.

However, following a series of sexual abuse allegations against Diddy, these businesses have decided to cut ties. The decision to part ways with Empower Global came after Cassie Ventura, also known as Cassie, Diddy’s former girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against him on November 16, 2023.

‘We Will Not Associate With Anything Or Anyone That Is Counter To Our Values’

This lawsuit, along with the other sexual abuse claims, has led businesses like House of Takura and Fulaba to make the difficult decision to distance themselves from Diddy. Annette Njau, founder of House of Takura, stated:

“This decision was made on the day that Casandra Ventura filed her lawsuit, We take the allegations against Mr. Combs very seriously and find such behavior abhorrent and intolerable. We believe in victims’ rights, and support victims in speaking their truth, even against the most powerful of people. Haby Barry, founder of Fulaba, echoed this sentiment, saying “Fulaba is all about empowering women and girls. We will not associate with anything or anyone that is counter to our values.”

Social media users have reacted to the news, where one user named @TPrintress wrote, “This is for every artist he stole from and allowed to starve while he and his family lived like royalty off of THE ARTIST’S hard work.” Another user named @hartofamerica76 wrote, “In light of this, find out who these 18 and growing Black-owned businesses are and support them. Don’t allow Diddy to negatively ruin more Black lives. I applaud them for taking moral stands.”

‘These Harrowing Allegations Have Expedited Our Decision’

According to Rolling Stone, Diddy invested over $20 million in Empower Global. Additionally, the e-commerce platform required sellers to pay a $35 monthly subscription fee and a 10% cut of sales as a marketplace fee.

However, the shocking sexual abuse allegations and the platform’s alleged lackluster performance have prompted some brands to terminate their relationships with Diddy. Rebecca Allen, founder of a luxury footwear brand, mentioned:

“We enjoyed working with the team, but have not seen meaningful sales, so we were already planning to terminate our relationship at the end of this year. These harrowing allegations have expedited our decision, and we ended our partnership with Empower Global earlier this month.”

The Downfall Of Diddy: Harlem Charter School Ends Partnership

After a flood of lawsuits, Diddy has suffered another blow to his reputation. Capital Prep Harlem, a charter school the hip-hop mogul helped launch in 2016, has announced the end of its partnership with him.

Capital Prep Harlem Cuts Ties With Diddy

Amidst a series of legal challenges, Diddy faces another hit to his reputation with a new development in an ongoing legal battle.

Capital Prep Harlem’s decision comes amidst the latest sexual assault allegations against the Bad Boy CEO, including accusations from his former girlfriend Cassie and two other women from the 1990s. This development adds to the ongoing scrutiny surrounding the influential entrepreneur and music producer.

Capital Prep Harlem Issues A Statement

Capital Prep Harlem, a public, tuition-free charter school providing a college preparatory education rooted in social justice, released a statement on November 29, revealing their decision to sever ties with Diddy. Dr. Steve Perry, the founder of Capital Preparatory Schools, addressed the partnership termination, stating:

“Following a comprehensive evaluation, a decision has been made to end the partnership between Capital Preparatory Schools and Sean Combs. While this decision was not made lightly, we firmly believe it is in the best interest of our organization’s health and future.” The school’s move is seen as a significant blow to Diddy’s philanthropic endeavors.

Diddy had played a pivotal role in the establishment of Capital Prep Harlem and had even donated $1 million in 2021 to support the school’s Bronx location.

Diddy’s Downfall

However, shortly after he announced his temporary step down as the chairman of REVOLT, the school decided to sever ties with him.

The sexual assault allegations against Diddy and the subsequent controversy seem to have influenced the school’s decision. Despite the school’s announcement, Diddy has remained silent about Capital Prep Harlem’s decision to end their partnership.

The Downfall Of Diddy

Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy may have been settled, but it’s not quite settled in the hip-hop mogul’s empire. Diddy has recently stepped down from the REVOLT chairmanship and lost a significant number of deals and brand cache.

‘Sean Combs Has Stepped Down’

Diddy’s resignation as REVOLT Chairman, announced on November 28, 2023, has left many wondering why his decision was made. On Instagram, REVOLT TV released a statement:

“Sean Combs has stepped down from his position as Chairman of REVOLT. While Mr. Combs has previously had no operational or day-to-day role in business, this decision helps ensure that REVOLT remains steadfastly focused on our mission to create meaningful content for the culture and amplify the voices of all Black people throughout this country and the African diaspora. Our focus has always been one that reflects our commitment to the collective journey of REVOLT – one that is not driven by any individual, but by the shared efforts and values of our entire team on behalf of advancing, elevating and championing our culture – and that continues.”

Preceding this, on Nov. 16, Diddy encountered significant legal issues stemming from a lawsuit filed by R&B singer and former girlfriend Cassie.

She alleged the Bad Boy CEO had subjected her to physical and sexual abuse throughout their decade-long relationship. Subsequent to the filing of the lawsuit, Diddy settled the legal case within 24 hours.

‘Deleon Day Party’ Canceled

In addition to stepping down from REVOLT, Diddy’s brand suffered a blow when his Deleón Day Party was canceled due to the lawsuit filed by Cassie.

On November 17, a day after the lawsuit was filed, the cancellation was announced stating:

“It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unfortunate cancellation of Sunday’s highly anticipated. DELEÓN Day Party. Recent, serious allegations against DELEON Tequila owner, Sean “Puff” Combs, have compelled us to take immediate action. In light of these circumstances, we believe it is in the best interest of our community to regrettably cancel the event. We understand the disappointment this may bring, but we remain committed to the values of integrity and accountability. However, we are excited to share that we have something special in the works for Tuesday, November 21st. We encourage you to stay tuned for an announcement that reflects the spirit and dedication to our community that has always been at the core of AGENDA. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”

Macy’s Cuts Ties With Diddy’s ‘Sean John’

Furthermore, Diddy faced yet another setback when it was reported on November 22 that his clothing brand Sean John was being phased out of its two-decade partnership with Macy’s.

In May 2010, Sean John entered into a distribution agreement with Macy’s department store, designating Macy’s and Macys.com as the exclusive distributors of Sean John sportswear at both retail and online levels. As part of this arrangement, Sean John and Macy’s expanded the brand’s distribution to numerous Macy’s stores and established exclusive marketing partnerships with the NBA

Will His Grammy Be Rescinded?

Adding to his woes, there are concerns about Diddy’s upcoming nomination for “Best Progressive R&B Album” at the 66th annual Grammy Awards. This leads fans to wonder if Diddy’s nomination will be taken away by the Recording Academy

One fan named @invisibiliss wrote, “Are they gone replace Diddy Grammy nomination with someone else or nah?? I have ideas on who can go there..” Another user named @MsNadaNee wrote, “Will @RecordingAcad take Diddy’s Grammy nomination away???”

Grammy nominations, which have been retracted in the past, were the case with Milli Vanilli in the 1990s. It was discovered that they did not sing any of the vocals on their music releases, making them the only artists to have their Grammy rescinded.

Grammy Noms Revoked?

In the realm of Grammy nominations being rescinded, there may be a possibility. In 2022, shock rockstar Marilyn Manson initially received two nominations for his contributions to Kanye West’s album Donda

According to the New York Times, the former nomination was revoked after Manson was excluded as a writer of the song in the updated version of Donda. The Record Academy CEO, Harvey Mason Jr., clarified in a recent interview that only Manson’s work would be considered for the award, and that his ongoing legal issues didn’t interfere as he was charged with sexual abuse charges in 2021.

 Harvey Mason Jr. stated:

“[The Record Academy] won’t restrict the people who can submit their material for consideration. We won’t look back at people’s history, we won’t look at their criminal record, we won’t look at anything other than the legality within our rules of, is this recording for this work eligible based on date and other criteria. If it is, they can submit for consideration. What we will control is our stages, our shows, our events, our red carpets. We’ll take a look at anyone who is asking to be a part of that, asking to be in attendance, and we’ll make our decisions at that point. But we’re not going to be in the business of restricting people from submitting their work for our voters to decide on.”

R&B singer, R. Kelly, who is currently imprisoned on sex trafficking charges, also had rumors swirling about the rescission of his Grammy awards in 2021. However, Mason Jr. stated:

“Right now, I think it’s something that is going to take a little bit more consideration before we can really dictate or decide,” he continued. “My initial feeling is we’re probably not a business that we want to be in of taking people’s awards back after they’ve been given. But we’ll take a good look at it and see.”

SOHH, Is Diddy Banned From The Grammys?

As many are wondering about Diddy’s whereabouts for the upcoming Grammys, it is alleged that some stars are also refusing to sit near him due to the abuse lawsuit filed against him. According to the Mirror, a music insider stated:

“The formal invitations go out this month. There’s conflict at the academy as several voting members do not think it would be appropiate to invite Diddy.”

Foot Locker Rejects Ye

In a similar vein, the world of celebrities has seen instances where deals have been rejected or revoked due to controversial statements or behaviors. Kanye West, for example, faced rejection from Foot Locker after making anti-Semitic remarks, causing backlash and fears of further controversy.

Today in Hip-Hop History: The L.O.X.’s Debut Album ‘Money, Power & Respect’ Turns 25 Years Old!

tumblr 15bbc52c6ef8c6de0fd223b37f56caf4 cf2297c4 500

On this date in 1998, Sheek Louch, Styles P., and Jadakiss, who are better known as the rap trio The L.O.X. (Living Off Experience), dropped their debut album on then-Puff Daddy’s steadily growing Bad Boy label. Following in the footsteps of artists like Craig Mack and Notorious B.I.G., the Yonkers collective had to go the extra length to prove themselves worthy to carry the Bad Boy legacy and that they have done and continue to do.

With production on this project from the likes of Swizz Beatz, D. Dot, Dame Grease, and Mr. Combs himself, there was very little chance that this project flop. Even with the shiny suits, the lyrical content and dexterity were on point from all three members, solidifying their slots as lyrical legends in their own rights coming into the new millennium. Tracks like “If You Think I’m Jiggy” and the album’s epic title track were both perfect fusions of street anthems with crossover appeal, which allowed the LOX a fanbase on both sides of the mainstream “boundary”.

Thanks to Diddy, D-Block, and the entire Bad Boy staff who helped to put together this timeless classic!
