Kanye West Reportedly Turned Down Meeting With Diddy Just Weeks Before Federal Raids

Kanye West and Diddy haven’t always been on the best of terms. Back in 2022, Ye was publically calling Diddy out for allegedly threatening him. Moreover, the legendary artist called Puff a “Fed” at the time. Overall, it was just one of many feuds that Ye was getting himself into at the time. However, he is now mostly just trying to focus on his new Vultures projects with Ty Dolla Sign. Not to mention, he has also been enjoying his married life with none other than Bianca Censori.

As for Diddy, well, things are not going so well for him. On Monday, his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by federal authorities. The operation was carried out on suspicion of sex trafficking. In the midst of all of this, TMZ is now reporting that Diddy was hoping to meet with Kanye back on March 14th in Los Angeles. That was the day of his Rolling Loud performance, which Puff attended. As the story goes, Puff was there with his family and entourage. He approached Ye’s team and asked for a face-to-face meeting. However, Kanye refused.

At the time, Kanye had no way of knowing what was about to happen. Although it is interesting that Ye had no interesting in speaking to Puff. Clearly, West is still upset about all of the things that went down back in 2022. It was a bad period in Kanye’s life, and it was one that cost him a whole lot of money and relationships. Whether or not he ever comments on the Diddy raids specifically, remains to be seen.

The timeline of allegations and lawsuits surrounding Sean “Diddy” Combs since last November is approaching novel length. On Monday, March 25, Diddy’s Los Angeles mansion was raided by Homeland Security “in connection with a federal sex trafficking case,” as first reported by FOX 11 Los Angeles. TMZ additionally reported that a raid was carried out at Diddy’s Miami residence. Homeland Security’s statement remained vague, while Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, released a statement maintaining Diddy’s innocence, as relayed by ABC News.

By Tuesday, March 26, Diddy reportedly sold his shares in Revolt to an anonymous buyer, and Rolling Stone reported that Diddy’s alleged drug “mule,” 25-year-old Brendan Paul, was “taken into custody by Miami-Dade police,” who were working alongside Homeland Security. TMZ circulated videos of Diddy outside a Miami airport at the time of the raids as he was reportedly preparing to leave for the Caribbean.

As per USA Today, Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr.’s civil lawsuit was filed against Diddy in February, but he filed an amendment in New York federal district court on Monday that implicated Yung Miami by alleging she and other women “were paid a monthly fee to work as Mr. Combs’ sex workers.” She also brought tuci (also referred to as pink cocaine) to Diddy.

According to the National Library Of Medicine, pink cocaine majorly contains “ketamine, often combined with 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), methamphetamine, cocaine, opioids, and/or new psychoactive substances.” Its effects are more similar to ecstasy, making its name something of a misnomer.

As the bad news continues to pour in for Sean “Diddy” Combs, more of the people in his orbit have been pulled into the drama surrounding the lawsuit filed by Rod “Lil Rod” Jones. According to XXL, Jones’ most recent amendment, filed on Monday, now levels a number of eyebrow-raising accusations at Yung Miami, Diddy’s rumored paramour, with whom he’s had a very public association, although both have refused to label their relationship as such.

Jones accuses Miami of both carrying drugs for Combs and of being a sex worker being paid a monthly retainer by Diddy, according to USA Today. Jones said Miami, real name Caresha Brownlee, was one of three women Combs kept on retainer, including wellness coach Jade Ramey and model/actress Daphne Joy. Incidentally, the latter is most notable for her connection with Curtis Jackson — better known as 50 Cent — the father of her 10-year-old son Sire. 50 has notably trolled his ex over her alleged association with Combs, which could be seen as at least part of why he’s carried on a one-sided feud with the fellow music mogul.

Jones’ lawsuit says Miami brought Combs a drug called “tuci” from Miami to Virginia via private plane when his alleged drug mule, Brendan Paul, forgot to bring it along. Tuci is also known as “pink cocaine” and is a synthetic drug made of pink food coloring, strawberry flavoring, ketamine, caffeine, and MDMA. Its effects are similar to those of ecstasy, rather than cocaine, according to drug treatment facilities such as The Willough at Naples and Avenues Recovery.

And now Yung Miami also appears to be pivoting to solo material with a new snippet she shared to social media.

She shared a pair of videos previewing an upcoming track she has with Skilla Baby. Despite showing off a healthy portion of the song, much of the discussion in response to it has a lot more to do with Diddy than Miami herself. That’s because her boyfriend recently had two of his homes raided by the feds and rumors have swirled about Miami’s potential involvement. Firstly she had to confirm that she wasn’t present or either of the raids to a fan on Twitter. But now she’s facing allegations of having talked to the feds personally as part of the investigation. Part of the rumors swirling about her being a potential informant come from DJ Akademiks. The streamer was beefing with Miami earlier this year and tried to use the raids against Diddy as an excuse to re-ignite their beef. Those accusations probably aren’t as serious as the ones made in a new addition to Lil Rod’s lawsuit against Diddy. In the new portions of the suit he accuses Miami of trafficking cocaine for the rap mogul.

Diddy Enters "The Love Era" With New Name Change

Diddy is no longer associated with Revolt TV, the culture and music-focused television network he founded in 2013. He is completely done and as TMZ claimed from their report, the network is under new ownership.

Now get this: sources in the know about the purported deal say the embattled mogul sold off all his shares to a mystery buyer for a sum that has not been disclosed. Now the word is the company in itself “remains Black-owned,” which is supposed to be aligned with, as TMZ puts it, upholding “its original connection and dedication to furthering the culture.”

It’s still hazy as to what Revolt was let go for regarding the sale, but one thing is clear: the new owner is keeping a low profile for now, and for good reason. There’s a lot of heat around the Sean Combs, with Monday’s raids by the feds, so now may not be the best time to announce a business deal of that magnitude for one of Diddy’s brands. Now, sources say that the owners or owners share a passion for Black culture, which is a broad statement, but they intend to introduce themselves formally in the coming weeks.

ICYMI, Diddy has been inactive with Revolt since he stepped down as Chairman in November. According to TMZ, the deal was amicable, and all the players involved are happy.

Interestingly, it appears the new owner is not cleaning the house, as Revolt’s CEO Detavio Samuels and Chief Brand Officer Deon Graham will both stay in their current roles to support the incoming boss, at least initially. Additionally, the report mentions that the incoming team is not doing any major shakeups with the existing staff or even how production is handled.

While the transition moves at a gradual pace, the new owner’s vision will take shape, but it seems like Revolt TV will look pretty much the same for now. Stay tuned.

Diddy has his homes in Los Angeles and Miami raided on Monday. Overall, federal authorities were there to investigate an alleged sex trafficking ring. On their way out, the feds were able to seize all of Diddy’s electronic devices. Now, the music mogul has to play the waiting game as the authorities go through these devices. There is no telling what is going to happen next, however, hip-hop fans are paying close attention. The mogul has faced scrutiny since the Cassie lawsuit from November of 2023, and this feels like the biggest development since the saga began.

During the raids, there were some people who were looking to take advantage of the media attention. For instance, we reported yesterday about a young man who claimed to be Diddy’s neighbor. He claimed that the mogul would have bus loads of children dropped off at his home during the early hours of the morning. We flagged this claim as outlandish and unfounded. Now, the mother of the young man is coming out and confirming this to be the case. According to TMZ, Khaliq Thomas is, indeed, a neighbor of Diddy’s. However, he was simply trolling with his comments.

Drone video that has made its rounds online appears to show Diddy’s sons Christian and Justin in handcuffs out front of the lavish Holmby Hills address amid the simultaneous raids on Diddy’s homes by Homeland Security for the alleged sex trafficking charge.

Law enforcement could be seen walking through his property on Monday with guns drawn as several people were spotted on the lawn, including Diddy’s sons, 30-year-old Justin Combs and 25-year-old Christian “King” Combs.

Over 30 law enforcement vehicles could be seen from the aerial view, with heavily armed agents on the ground and a helicopter, which could be heard overhead.

Diddy, aka Sean Combs, is currently under investigation by federal authorities for alleged sex trafficking.
