Earlier this week, Diddy was arrested in New York City. A day later, his federal indictment was unsealed, revealing disturbing details of Homeland Security’s raids of his two mansions. According to TMZ, various firearms, narcotics, and more were found in the homes. Alleged “Freak off” supplies, including over 1,000 bottles of baby oil and other lubricants, were also seized.

The indictment describes the alleged freak offs as “elaborate and produced sex performances that Combs arranged, directed, masturbated during, and often electronically recorded.” The baby oil tidbit has gotten a great deal of attention online, resulting in countless memes about the bizarre discovery. It’s even prompted experts to come forward with a PSA about the substance.

Baby Oil Should Not Be Used As Lubricant, Experts Say

A rep from the Chicken Ranch Brothel near Las Vegas recently chatted with TMZ, reminding the public that baby oil should not be used as a lubricant. They note that it’s harmful to vaginal health and can degrade latex condoms, potentially resulting in unwanted pregnancies or STDs. Obviously, it’s unconfirmed exactly what Diddy was using the baby oil for, but this is a helpful PSA nonetheless now that it’s a hot topic.

As for Diddy’s legal issues, he appeared in court for an appeal hearing yesterday, where he asked a judge for pre-trial release on bail for the second time. Once again, his request was denied, meaning he’ll remain at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until further notice. He’s been charged with “racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.” If convicted, he faces a minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars and a maximum of life. However, it seems like the politician is separating their relationship from his thoughts on his current situation.

“I went to do a charity event for impoverished youth in London,” Shyne continued about Diddy. “So let us not lose sight of what the cold, hard facts are. This is someone who destroyed my life and who I forgave and who I moved on for the better interest of Belize. Because he was in a position at that time to give scholarships and to maybe invest.

“I would not deny attempting to bring the investment to Belize and to bring the contributions to education to Belize,” Shyne concluded about reconciling with Diddy. “But don’t distort it as if he and I were [close]. This is someone that destroyed my life. But do I take any joy or any satisfaction with what he is going through? Absolutely not. I am different than, maybe, other people. Diddy Begs Cassie For Help In Newly Revealed Text Messages After Hotel Assault

Diddy is now in court after months of accusations, allegations, and lawsuits, many of them which have remained speculative and accusatory at press time. However, one piece of evidence that suggests he may have a pattern of misbehavior is a clip of him assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie in a hotel room back in 2016. Moreover, during a New York court hearing on Wednesday (September 18) to appeal for his bond again (unsuccessfully), Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson revealed texts that the Bad Boy mogul and Cassie allegedly sent to each other in the aftermath of this hotel incident years ago.

“Call me, the cops are here. I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone,” Diddy allegedly wrote to Cassie. “The defendant knew he had done something that could elicit police response,” Johnson interpreted. “When you get f***ed up, you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child,” Cassie allegedly told her partner after his abuse of her. Elsewhere concerning this assault, these court hearings also present two wildly different clams about what actually happened.

Diddy’s Alleged Text To Cassie

First, Cassie’s side of the story. According to the prosecution, a male sex worker was allegedly present in her and Diddy’s hotel room at the time of the assault and Cassie allegedly tried to escape a “freak-off” party. However, Sean Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo alleges that Cassie discovered that Combs was cheating on her with another woman. Allegedly, she went through Diddy’s phone, threw it at his head, took his clothes, and walked out. Obviously, we don’t know the truth of what really happened here eight years ago. We’ll see what other proof emerges surrounding it.

Meanwhile, Diddy did score at least one small legal victory amid this intense and massive arrest. A judge dismissed a sexual assault case that had resulted in a $100 million judgement for the alleged victim. Trick Daddy wants to make it clear that is where the similarities stop, though. The iconic Florida emcee took to social media on September 18 to set the record straight. He made it clear that he did not have a close relationship with Diddy, and went as far as threaten the next person who asks about the arrested mogul.

Trick Daddy must have been getting bombarded with questions about Diddy. He felt the need to get on Instagram Live two days after the mogul was arrested. The rapper did not mince words, either. “The next person that asks me if I been to one of them parties, I’mma slap the sh*t out you,” he stated. “They don’t like my kind at them parties.” He then broadened the conversation to discuss who have and haven’t been to Diddy’s so-called “Freak Offs.” Trick Daddy then went in an unexpected direction and addressed those who have been. His team added that his only female visitors would be family members or the mothers of his children. On top of this, Diddy promised to have no contact with witnesses and to take weekly drug tests. It’s to be seen whether or not the appeal will be successful. Previously, Judge Robyn Tarnofsky argued that Diddy could theoretically and allegedly re-offend if released. “This is a crime that happens behind closed doors, even when pretrial services is monitoring,” she explained earlier this week.

Diddy’s Lawyer Names Cassie As An Alleged Witness In Federal Case

Diddy’s federal case is taking shape. The hip hop mogul was formally charged with sex trafficking and racketeering on Tuesday, and was subsequently denied bail. He will be held until his trial gets underway. In the meantime, his lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, will speak on his behalf. Agnifilo voiced his frustration with the court’s decision to deny Diddy bail. He also alleged that Cassie, Diddy’s former girlfriend, will serve as a witness in the upcoming trial, according to The Jasmine Brand.

Cassie will allegedly be among the women who will testify against Diddy, according to Agnifilo. There is a possibility that the singer will take the stand during the case, but nothing has been confirmed. It’s telling that Diddy’s lawyer confirmed Cassie’s involvement in the case. At the same time, he attempted to tear down her character. Marc Agnifilo alleged that Cassie was actually the one who incited violence leading up to the incident in which Diddy assaulted her in a hotel hallway. Cassie’s involvement in the Diddy case has been alluded to for several months. TMZ reported that the singer was in contact with federal officers prior to the mogul’s arrest. She also reportedly worked with investigators as far back as April. A source close to Cassie told People Magazine that she feared for her life in the lead up to Diddy’s arrest. “It was terrifying in a very real way,” the source explained. “There have been so many people protecting Diddy for so long. It’s not an exaggeration to say her life was in danger through all this.”

The same source told People that Diddy’s arrest has helped Cassie at ease. According to a breaking news report from TMZ, Diddy is pleading not guilty to all of the charges put upon him. Obviously, this is something that no one should be taken aback by. The multi-media figure and rapper was hit with three charges earlier today, including “racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution”. All of this has been transpiring within Manhattan, New York, with his arrest occurring late yesterday.

He has yet to be convicted, but the potential outcomes are extreme. As it stands, he is currently facing a minimum of 15 years, with a statutory maximum of life behind bars. Of course, Diddy is not wanting anything to do with that, which is why he offered a $50,000,000 bail package. It includes selling his $48,000,000 Miami home, in addition his mother’s house in the same city. Furthermore, he’s even willing to limit where he can travel, which is trimmed down to just certain districts of Florida and New York.
