Cuffing season has a habit of bringing about new romance, but in 2023, it appears pregnancy is running rampant in the air too. Ari Fletcher recently suggested that baby fever has her in a chokehold, and Sexyy Red shocked us by confirming that she’s expecting her second child. For months now, another young starlet has had maternal rumours swirling around her, though her failure to confirm the speculation has maintained some doubt. After the newest photos of Halle Bailey and DDG hit the internet today (October 16), however, it’s becoming less believable that the Disney actress isn’t pregnant.
Newly captured paparazzi photos show Bailey and her other half in Santa Monica this week. Despite the warm weather overtaking the city well into fall, Bailey was notably dressed in multiple layers. She put a red t-shirt under an oversized, dark hoodie, completing her casual fit with light grey sweatpants. The Atlanta native has always had a slim frame, but it’s hard to deny the appearance of a growing bump on her midsection. Bailey was all smiles as the camera clicked away, looking as radiant as ever while reportedly heading into a meeting.
“It doesn’t get much more pregnant than this ,” one IG user wrote under @theshaderoom’s post this afternoon. “I can hear them YT folk now . ‘This is the example we’re showing our kids?’ ‘Disney princess pregnant out of wedlock?’ ‘This is the Ariel y’all promoting to young girls?’ And guess what????WE DON’T CARE!!! At least DDG ain’t her cousin ,” another frustrated person chimed in.
We can’t share the newest photos of Halle Bailey and DDG here, but you can find them by clicking the via below. Halle Bailey: Pregnancy Rumors Swirl as Actress Conceals Figure in Oversized Clothing
Halle Bailey, The Little Mermaid star celebrated for her ethereal voice and captivating performances, finds herself at the heart of swirling pregnancy speculations.
New photos, which were first shared by The Shade Room, show Bailey walking alongside her boyfriend, DDG. Halle, 21, gracefully donned an oversized gray hoodie and a Louis Vuitton bag over her shoulder. Her stomach appears to be round, leading fans to believe that she is pregnant.
Rumors of Bailey’s pregnancy have been swirling since August, with eagle-eyed fans scrutinizing every public appearance for clues. The couple, who made their relationship public earlier this year, has been a subject of fascination since their dating rumors first surfaced in January.
Bailey has maintained a veil of silence regarding the rumors surrounding her potential pregnancy. The actress has strategically chosen to conceal her figure beneath an array of oversized clothing, leaving fans to decipher the visual hints and piece together the puzzle.
If Bailey is pregnant, it will be her first child with DDG, 26. The couple went public with their relationship earlier this year after sparking dating rumors last January. Now, fans eagerly await official confirmation or a revelation from the couple themselves.
Last night, the City of Angels witnessed firsthand a musical experience like no other. Gunna made his return to the stage at the YouTube Theater as part of the second leg of his The Gift & The Curse tour. The energy in the room was high with anticipation, as fans eagerly awaited the Atlanta rapper’s performance after a two-year hiatus. Prior to this show, Gunna performed at Barclay’s Center earlier in September. This tour was in support of Gunna’s latest album, a Gift & a Curse, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 chart.
The YouTube Theater in Los Angeles was the perfect backdrop for this unforgettable night. The venue buzzed with anticipation as fans of all ages gathered in the intimate, sold-out theater. From Gunna performing some of his classics from beloved projects such as Drip or Drown to previewing new music, fans of all ages had something to appreciate. While the evening experienced a brief hiccup when technical difficulties silenced Gunna’s microphone, necessitating a 10-minute pause in the show, the rapper didn’t let that hinder his ability to deliver an outstanding performance. Keep reading for 10 of the best moments from the show.
Kicking off the night of Gunna’s headlining tour was Flo Milli and DDG. Flo Milli, known for her infectious energy and razor-sharp lyricism, set the stage on fire with her captivating performance of “In The Party.” She set the energetic tone as people poured into the theater getting ready for the night. After that, second opener DDG kicked off his performance with his hit song “Moonwalkin’ in Calabassas.’ He performed three songs total before finishing out with “I’m Geekin.” During this song, he brought an extra dose of surprise and excitement to the stage when he invited his talented little cousin, Woo Wop, into the spotlight. The 7-year-old’s cameo appearance was met with cheerful applause as he helped perform the song with him.
2. Gunna Started His Set With “Back At It”

As the clock neared showtime, around 10 p.m., the venue plunged into darkness, igniting a wave of cheering and roars among the crowd. The stage was set with a white curtain, which ultimately was lifted to reveal a giant statue head of Gunna. The sculpted material also included a massive snake that adorned the stage. The intro to “Back At It” began playing and this was a moment in itself. Although it was the first song, the crowd was eager to get things started. The curtains lifted to reveal an elevated Gunna standing several feet above the ground, on top of his statue head. As the curtains lifted, an elevated Gunna was unveiled, positioned several feet above the ground, and standing on top of the towering sculpture of his own head. It was a grand entrance to remember.
As the show went on, Gunna performed fan favorites throughout the night. Some of the memorable songs on the setlist included “back to the moon,” “bread & butter,” “pushin P” “you & me,” “poochie gown,” and plenty more. However, one standout song that everyone seemed hype for was when he performed “Too Easy,” which appears on his album DS4EVER. Some fans speculated that he would bring out Roddy Ricch since he’s featured on the remix of the song. However, he didn’t, but it was still a great, lively performance. The audience sang the words lyric for lyric.
4. Gunna Performed Songs From Each Of His Previous Albums
Image via HNHH
Despite being on tour in support of his latest album, a Gift & a Curse, Gunna left no stone unturned in delivering an unforgettable performance. He played music from his previous projects which included songs from Drip Or Drown (1 and 2), DS4EVER, Drip Season 3, Slime Language 2, and WUNNA. Before delving into his renowned catalog, he eagerly asked the crowd, “Where are my Drip or Drown fans at?” This reference to his 2017 and 2019 albums, Drip or Drown and its sequel, marked pivotal moments in his career. Both albums earned widespread acclaim and helped foster a devoted fan base. The crowd’s enthusiasm reflected this, and he gave his day one fans something to be excited for. He proceeded to play fan favorites such as “Dollaz ONnMy Head,” “Space Cadet,” “Drip Too Hard,” “P Power,” “Ski,” “Baby Birkin,” and so many more that left fans feeling nostalgic.
Just a year ago, Gunna’s life took a dramatic turn when he found himself behind bars as part of YSL’s 56-count RICO Act indictment filed by Fulton County in May 2022. However, he emerged from that situation seven months later, thanks to Georgia’s Alford Plea, a legal maneuver that didn’t require him to admit guilt but allowed him to secure his release. This period of uncertainty and legal trouble undoubtedly cast a shadow over Gunna’s career, with fans divided over his involvement in the case. One notable moment during the show was when he performed “Hot,” which he originally performed with YSL head honcho Young Thug, also commonly known as Jeffery. During this song, fans noticed the “Free Jeffery” artwork displayed on all sides of the stage.

Gunna’s performance of “Yosemite” was fitting for the middle of the night. It’s one of the calmer songs he has in his catalog and it allowed audiences to vibe out and be mesmerized by the music. His delivery was nothing short of awe-inspiring as he effortlessly flowed through his verses, his voice resounding loud and clear. “Yosemite” is a song that actually appears on Travis Scott’s album Astroworld, but Gunna has a notable verse on the track.
7. Brought Out Special Guest Victor Thompson
Gunna brought out Nigerian artist Victor Thompson to perform his hit song “This Year” at his sold out show in LA pic.twitter.com/fgBt3HB1FH
As far as special guests, Nigerian artist Victor Thompson was the only performing act that Gunna brought out on stage. Thompson is an Afrobeats artist and performed his hit song “This Year (Blessings)” which served as a nice change in pace for the night. It seemed as though the audience was getting familiar with him, but many enjoyed the vibe he brought to the stage.
There was a moment where a song played during his set and no one in the audience knew the words. Later, the crowd realized it was unreleased music that he was previewing. Although no one seemed to know this initially because Gunna didn’t announce that he’d be playing unreleased music, the song was a banger. People had their hands up and rocked out anways.
9. Performed “Top Off” Like Viral TikTok Challenge
Image via HNHH
Another highlight of the night was when Gunna performed “Top Off.” This was significant for the main reason that he performed it in a similar way as the viral TikTok challenge that took the internet by storm. While the song itself dates back to 2018, the viral TikTok trend emerged in 2022 and found millions of users imitating Gunna’s original COLORS performance that had a microphone hanging from the ceiling while he rapped. Needless to say, many fans in the audience understood the reference, and appreciated that he acknowledged the trend.
Last but not least, Gunna’s longtime friend and collaborator Turbo, known for his producer tagline “run that back Turbo,” appeared on stage for a piano solo. It was a beautiful moment that occurred as Gunna closed out his performance for “Lemonade.” Overall, last night’s performance was a testament to Gunna’s commitment to his craft and his fans. The final songs of the night included fan-favorite “fukumean,” and “missing me,” to close out the night. As he exited the stage, the crowd clapped and cheered, signaling that his music had spoken louder than any controversy surrounding him. It was a night to remember. Stay tuned to HNHH for what’s next for Gunna.
Rapper and former YouTube star, DDG, and actress and singer, Halle Bailey, continue to show their true love for another anytime they can. As far as we know the couple has been official since the end of March 2022 and like most relationships, especially in the celebrity world, they can have their tough moments. For example, there was a lot of speculation that DDG was cheating on Halle with his ex-girlfriend and rapper, Rubi Rose. The artist decided to release a song about Rubi, “Way Too Petty,” after Rubi was sharing communications with him.
That is just one example of the couple facing the heat from outsiders but, Halle put it best in a statement she made about social media and how it can tear apart what you have. She goes, “The biggest thing I’ve learned in dating when it comes to dating in the public eye, is that everybody’s gonna have an opinion about you, whether it’s good or bad. I think because I’ve grown up, kind of in the public eye, people think they have this sort of… I don’t know, that they can say what they feel about my life. Like they do with everyone in the public eye,” Halle elaborates. “But I’ve realized, for me, I just go with my heart.” That is extremely wise of the Little Mermaid star to share for anyone going through a rough patch in their love life.
DDG and Halle Bailey seem to continue to live out that mantra, as the two were looking goofy and lovey in a recent photo. In the picture, the couple is getting nice and comfortable while they watch Beyoncé perform one of her shows in Los Angeles from this past Labor Day weekend. DDG is making a smoochy face, while Halle is sticking her tongue out in the direction of her man. The caption on the image reads, “goodnight” with the crying laughing emoji. It is sweet to see the two living their best life together and we wish them nothing but love and peace going forward!
What are your initial thoughts on this photo from DDG and Halle Bailey? Are these two a power couple in the celebrity world? Have you been able to attend one of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour shows yet? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest breaking news around DDG and Halle Bailey’s relationship.
From the outside looking in, 2023 has been a bumpy road for DDG and Halle Bailey. New photos taken earlier this weekend prove that they’re still going strong, but over the past few months, fans have speculated that they’re on the verge of splitting up more than once. We saw the YouTuber’s ex, Rubi Rose, leak alleged DMs from him during a fight with Bailey, and later on, he lyricized about feeling some type of way from watching his girl kiss another man while filming her first feature film, The Little Mermaid.
As is usually the case with any celebrity couple drama, fans had plenty to say about what’s been unfolding between DDG and the “Angel” singer. It’s long been suggested that ending her relationship with the Michigan native would only further enhance Bailey’s career. Nevertheless, she seems determined to make things work with her beau, who enjoyed soaking up the last of the summer sunshine with her this weekend.
Aside from updating us on her love life, the Atlanta-based songstress also gave us a look at her booty gains. On Saturday (August 19), her IG feed lit up with a selection of snaps taken while she was relaxing in the pool wearing a pretty, purple one-piece swimsuit.
“I was born free ,” the Disney starlet wrote in the caption. While she solely focused on flaunting her face card in the first picture, a swipe to the left will reveal her slim thick behind, which she’s proudly been building in the gym for some time now. “ARIEL BEEN ACTIN UP EVER SINCE SHE GOT THEM LEGS,” one user teased Halle in her comment section.
Do you think Halle Bailey looks better while rocking a tail as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, or while hanging out in her pool sporting her bright purple swimsuit? Let us know in the comments, and check back later for more hip-hop/pop culture news updates.
Halle Bailey recently shared “Angel,” her debut solo single, which follows her starring role in the highly successful movie The Little Mermaid. Bailey’s boyfriend DDG also just unveiled his new album Maybe It’s Me. The pair make for a busy couple, and DDG made it clear in a red carpet interview at Billboard’s 2023 R&B/Hip-Hop Power Players event that the two enthusiastically support each other.
When the reporter asked him if he has streamed Bailey’s new song, DDG gushed, “I gave ‘Angel’ a million streams before it came out. I listen to it a lot; I’m a big supporter of her, obviously, of course.”
“It’s a woman’s time right now,” he said after the reporter mentioned the drama with Keke Palmer’s boyfriend. “I feel like women are more powerful than ever. As a man that’s a part of a woman of that stature, you just gotta be a supporter.”
DDG also discussed what his intentions were with making Maybe It’s Me. “I just wanted to get all the opinions and stuff that people had about me out of the way, play that villain role for a little bit,” the rapper said, “but now I’m back to making good, relatable music.”
When I listened to “Famous,” the opening track off DDG’s latest EP release, Maybe It’s Me, for the first time, it felt like reading the artist’s diary. The first lines left me feeling like I shouldn’t know any of this — but I couldn’t put it down.
In “Famous,” the Pontiac, Michigan rapper describes being insecure about his relationship with his girlfriend Halle Bailey. He raps, “The hardest thing I ever did was fall in love with a famous b*tch,” exposing the feelings of jealousy that he felt while she was promoting her film The Little Mermaid, and shares some of his fleeting thoughts of sabotage. While some folks would take those secrets to the grave (the backlash he’s receiving showing exactly why), he’s taking the toxic vulnerability path of Drake and Future. The overall arching theme of Maybe It’s Me is DDG embracing being the villain.
“I feel like my last project is basically, me going from playing the victim to me being the villain,” DDG told Uproxx the day of the EP’s release. “Accepting the role as a villain.” In an interview with DDG as he shopped for jewelry on Rodeo Drive, the controversial rapper detailed his TikTok-favorite single “I’m Geekin” and the controversy surrounding “Famous.”
Why do you think that people have started to not like you?
I honestly don’t know, to be honest.
Is it surprising for you?
To be real. It used to be, but now it’s kind of whatever, it is what it is. It’s just the internet. I see a lot of artists get hated on.
When I first heard “Famous,” the first thing I wanted to know was if Halle heard it before you put it out.
Yeah, she heard it.
She was okay with you putting it on the project?
Yeah. It’s just music. Sometimes I exaggerate situations purposely for the sake of the song. I think I’m going to just stop trolling. They can’t handle my humor, so I’m gonna just chill, drop music, and let it ride out.
You recently mentioned in a vlog how you wanted to start taking music more seriously and stop making the kind of videos you’re known for and on “Hard On Myself” you say: “Doin’ videos on the ‘net, but I’d rather just rap / One day, I’ma take that leap of faith and just focus on that.”
What’s holding you back from taking that leap of faith, outside the YouTube money?
It is just like – that’s how a lot of people might fall off in a way. They try to abandon what they are, where they got solid, for something that could work out or couldn’t. But, I just really want to do music. I’m just passionate about it. I ain’t tripping on no money or no shit. I just want to see how far I can do the music stuff.
I also want to also talk about the sound of the project because some of the songs like “Rizz” and “Rambo” sound like the early SoundCloud rap era. Is that what you were going for?
Nah, I wouldn’t say that vibe. I’d say I just got a few songs that are more specifically for performance. Then I got some songs that are more experimental, like the “Famous” song. It’s like a UK garage/hip-hop beat — a new sound that I was trying out. You got the slow joints, but the ones that were hyped are for performance.
“Hard on Myself” is nice. What made you record a song like that? Do you have more songs like that?
I don’t. That’s the only song I made like that. That’s where I feel like I am seeing what people like. They like that intellectual, lyrical, slow melody vibe. I feel like since the wintertime coming up I need to get something out for that time. I’m just locking in on that sound.
Since the internet jokes that they can’t name five DDG songs, what are five songs people should add to their playlist to get to know who you are musically?
I would say “I’m Geekin,” “Treat Me Right,” “Stay in My Circle,” “Impatient” and “Elon Musk.”
Tell me what it was like when you linked up with Luh Tyler for the first “I’m Geekin” remix.
That was lit. He’s a cool dude. It was dope. Good vibes. We got in the studio before. He hit me up to hop on the remix and sent me his verse back ASAP. It was like two days.
How did the “I’m Geekin” remix with Bia and NLE Choppa happen?
Choppa told me he wanted to get on it and then my A&R sent it to Bia. But, we are all cool though.
When Lady Gaga posted a TikTok to “I’m Geekin,” was that expected?
No, that was definitely the most unexpected thing.
You have a tweet that says female rappers are winning. Which five are you checking for right now?
I’d say Bia, Cardi B, Latto, Coi Leray, and Nicki Minaj.
Considering the song “Pioneer” and your journey so far, would you say you are creating your own kind of blueprint?
Yeah, I would say so. I feel like what I’m doing is extremely difficult. That’s why it hasn’t been done at my magnitude yet.
In a past interview with Uproxx, you said you wanted to know what it felt like to be Drake, Lil Baby, 50 Cent, and Diddy. You said, “I want to know what it feels like and I’m chasing that experience.” How close to that do you feel like you are?
I don’t know. I feel like I’m pretty far. I don’t look at any of my accomplishments and be like, “Oh, I’m getting closer.” I feel like my success has no limit. It’s hard for me to gauge how close I am to anything. I feel like when you get older it’s like, in the music industry especially, you don’t want to rap your whole life. You want to be able to have a catalog where you can also do other sh*t.
Is there an album next or will there be a third installment to this It’s Not Me It’s You, Maybe It’s Me, toxic series?
No, I’m working on the album. I’m going to put out a real album with a good amount of songs. One solid consistent sound. I have been talking to OG Parker about a Die 4 Respect 2 project. That might come about at some point.
Rapper DDG must have been feeling a way about watching his girlfriend The Little Mermaid star Halle Bailey on the big screen with another man. This New Music he dropped off an album called Maybe It’s Me, with the song “Famous” seemingly venting about his relationship woes with Bailey. “Filmin’ a movie now you kissing dudes / You know I love you a lot / I don’t give a f**k if that shit for promo / I don’t wanna see this s**t no more,” the Michigan-born artist made it clear.
Since the song’s release, the hashtag #FailedRapper has been trending on Twitter. “Halle Bailey is a beautiful and talented soul. DDG is very jealous and possessive about her career. The fact that he threatened to hurt her image because he is insecure is a bad sign,” one person reflected after catching up on the tea.
Elsewhere, others suggested that it could all be a ploy for attention. “Lol that’s [wild] failed rapper is still trending. @HalleBailey and @PontiacMadeDDG I feel like [they’re] good. If you know DDG you know he’s a troll. N if Halle wasn’t cool with the song it wouldn’t be out. DDG is like 6ix9ine but a good boy,” someone speculated.
It’s become increasingly hard to tell exactly what the status of Halle Bailey and DDG’s relationship is, but then again, maybe that’s exactly how the creatives want it. The Atlanta native found herself soaring to new heights following The Little Mermaid premiere in the spring, in which she stars opposite Jonah Hauer-King. While playing the roles of Prince Eric and Princess Ariel, they obviously had to film some romantic scenes, but seeing as it’s a Disney movie, there was nothing more than some smooching and subsequent hand-holding on the press tour.
While he’s played it off relatively cool online, it seems DDG has been feeling some type of way about watching Bailey on the big screen with another man. This New Music Friday (July 14), he dropped off an album called Maybe It’s Me, with the song “Famous” seemingly venting about his relationship woes with Bailey. “Filmin’ a movie now you kissing dudes / You know I love you a lot / I don’t give a f**k if that shit for promo / I don’t wanna see this s**t no more,” the Michigan-born artist made it clear.
Since the song his DSPs yesterday, social media has had plenty to say about DDG. In fact, Bailey’s fans are so riled up about “Famous” that their rants about the situation caused #FailedRapper to trend on Twitter.

If a corny nigga like DDG can bag Halle Bailey, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t ask your crush out
Halle Bailey is so gassed to be dating this DDG because in her mind it’s the age old ‘innocent girl — bad boy’ trope. Except that his own bad boy is the smelliest and razzest brand I’ve ever seen.
as stated before, ddg is JEALOUS of halle bailey. his own partner btw. @HalleBailey I can’t wait for you to stop being stupid in love. basically wanting you to slow down acting/getting a bag due to his insecurities, wake up https://t.co/4UKOVj9Dju

“I don’t know, Doc. I just feel like people really be hatin’ on me for no reason, and they don’t really know what be going on. They just be going off of what they see on the internet,” DDG said in his newly dropped official trailer for Maybe It’s Me… while laying on what appears to be a therapist’s coach. “But if people knew what was really going on, like, I wouldn’t even be going through this mentally.”
DDG references “a little screenshot on Twitter scandal” that started his struggle, presumably the DMs exposed his ex-partner Rubi Rose, which has “been going on for, like, five, six months now.” The camera cuts to a young Woo Wop holding a notepad and asking DDG why he decided to DM his ex. DDG said he “was just being petty,” which directly nods toward his February single, “Way Too Petty.”
Woo Wop encourages DDG to “be the bigger person” because he’s “not in the same position as before.”
DDG is about to attract even more attention with the release of Maybe It’s Me…, and below is everything to know about the album so far.
Release Date
Maybe It’s Me… is out Friday, July 14, via DDG Entertainment Inc./Epic Records.
