BigXthaPlug Kicks Fans Out Of His Show For Picking A Fight In The Crowd

BigXthaPlug rocked the stage in Los Angeles last night (Wednesday, December 4), but some particularly rowdy fans interrupted his good time. Moreover, he was performing his hit song “Law & Order” during his show at The Regent in downtown L.A. for his sold-out TAKE CARE tour when he saw two men fighting in the crowd. The Dallas rapper stopped the show and instructed security to escort the men out of the venue. In fact, he seemed peeved by the fact that they weren’t even taking their fight seriously or fighting over anything significant, which was another reason to kick them out.

As for the rest of the show, from what TMZ Hip Hop reports, everything went quite smoothly for BigXthaPlug, and you can see footage of the fight by clicking on the “Via” link down below. The rest of the crowd proved to not act as disruptively, and he could run through the rest of his fan favorites with no hiccup. The “Therapy Session” MC has had plenty of hot tracks over the years, especially in 2024. There’s no shortage of bangers on this setlist.

In fact, BigXthaPlug’s explosive run in 2024 landed him a spot on this year’s XXL Freshman Class alongside 4batx, Hunxho, Scar Lip, Rich Amiri, Cash Cobain, Maiya The Don, Skilla Baby, That Mexican OT, Lay Bankz, and Bossman Dlow. Even though this year’s biggest rap stories revolved around most of its established superstars, seeing this new generation captivate fans in a different way became quite the treat to witness in 2024. Hopefully BigX continues this dominance into 2025, or if he decides to take a break, he furthers his craft and artistry to another level.

Still, we hope that BigXthaPlug can enjoy that success without having to play babysitter for rowdy concert-goers. “The Largest” might just become that much larger next year, especially if his knack for grimy bangers and triumphant trap gets more and more engrossing. Even though fans might not show the due respect for some shows here and there, he doesn’t need much more to really establish himself as a performance force. Just fight for real if you’re going to interrupt a BigX show, or preferably, not at all.

Lil Xan Gets Body-Slammed In New Footage Of His Mid-Concert Attack Towards Fan In The Crowd

Lil Xan recently became a little too aggressive at a show, as he kicked a fan in the crowd in the face and threw a mic at him during a Saturday night (November 23) concert at the Boston nightclub Royale. Moreover, new footage also shows someone appearing to be a security guard body-slamming him to the floor shortly after the incident. Many people believe that the rapper is currently on the run from police over this incident, but this new footage shows that he did not get away without a scratch. It seemed like he just really wanted to get some combative energy off his chest.

Furthermore, it’s unclear why this whole situation occurred, what led up to it, or how its parties would explain it, especially since Lil Xan allegedly assaulted two other individuals on his way out. Police arrived shortly after he had already left, and it’s unclear if they made any progress in their pursuit at press time. It certainly wouldn’t be the Total Xanarchy artist’s only legal and criminal headache of the year, though, as he had to pay almost $30K after threatening a Tupac fan with a firearm.

Lil Xan Body-Slammed In New Footage

“That interview should’ve never even been aired ‘cause I wasn’t in a good place during the interview,” Lil Xan said of his previous comments on Tupac. “I was angry at that time. And all that came down to was a result of me just trying to get the interview done quicker. I was like, ‘Next question. Next question.’ And then they just give me questions and I’m messing around. I think Tupac is a legend. I don’t have to explain myself to anybody, but I grew up on a lot of old school West Coast, a lot of old school East Coast.”

“It started an interesting conversation in hip-hop,” Lil Xan added. “I did get a lot of backlash, of course, but as the years have gone by since that moment, it started what I think is a very good conversation in hip-hop. Why do these new cats in hip-hop that weren’t even born when someone like Tupac was around, why do they have to idolize them like the older people? They can appreciate the craft and the music. It’s good. It’s amazing, it’s better than good. But if you think about it like that, that’s some hating stuff right there.”

It’s a pretty innocuous and awkward moment overall, but one that she handled as quickly as she could have.

However, this isn’t the only reason why Ice Spice’s recent live shows have been the subject of some interesting, albeit ridiculously salacious, discussions online. For example, fans recently debated whether she’s tired of constantly twerking as part of her image based on her facial expressions while throwing it back during a recent set. We don’t know how a facial expression necessarily converts to annoyance, especially when it’s part of a planned performance and it’s been such a common part of the routine so far. Ritualistic fatigue is a very real thing, but to equate it to a dance seems a bit overboard.

Moreover, she recently performed at the Vegandale festival, and footage emerged of the crowd storming away from the stage after a fight broke out. In fact, you can hear the Icy Girl provide her best efforts to calm folks down and check in with the rest to make sure that they’re safe, but it seems like things escalated far too quickly for her to mitigate the situation. It’s unclear whether her set continued or if this resulted in an early cut.

Furthermore, this is far from the toughest circumstances that Saweetie’s had to face in her career, as she recently spoke on her difficult come-up before the fame. Fortunately, it seems like this has been a pretty fruitful year so far in this career, with fresh new singles and a whole lot of social media hype. At press time, she still hasn’t responded to this Vegandale incident, but we also don’t know how clear she or her team is on the matter to be able to respond. Method Man Criticizes The Crowd At Summer Jam, Claims He’s Never Coming Back

Over the weekend Hot 97’s annual Summer Jam took place. The festival looked to combine rap stars both new and old with an impressive roster of performers. Doja Cat, Ty Dolla $ign, Sexyy Red, Fivio Foreign, French Montana and many more served as the contemporary stars of the festival. While Method Man & Redman, Eric B & Rakim, EPMD, and Jadakiss delivered old school flavors. But the crowd was apparently much more in tune with some of the newer artists around, which didn’t sit well with one particular performer.

Method Man took to Instagram following his performance to criticize the less than stellar reception he felt from the crowd. In a comment he claimed that the festival was “not our crowd.” After thanking the city of New York and some of the other performers he doubled down on his sentiments. “Never again.. at this point the generation gap is just too wide for me.. #nevercomingback” his comment concludes. In the comments, many fans come to the defense of the two rap legends. Some blame the fans themselves for their underwhelming reception. This isn’t even the first controversy to spark from this year’s edition of Summer Jam. The original line-up poster included Offset as one of the headliners. But in a later announcement expanding the lineup of the festival he was unceremoniously swept off the list, with no explanation for his disappearance given. That was in addition to fans initial underwhelmed reaction from the original lineup announcement.

Ari Lennox recently reflected on her experience opening on the Rod Wave Nostalgia Tour, admitting that she could never find her groove. While discussing the tour on social media, over the weekend, she explained that it was not the right crowd for her. Most notably, an angry fan threw a bottle at Lennox during a concert in Los Angeles in November.

“I was never comfortable,” she began, “I just remember every show, just racing to get off stage, racing to get through my set. I started trying to communicate with the audience and then I realized they were getting angry at me affirming them. You’re getting angry that I’m affirming you? This is not my crowd. And it’ll never be. And that’s alright.
