Travis Scott’s Alleged Victim Says Rapper Flipped Him Off Before Punching Him

Travis Scott went into a fit of rage this week following a DJ set in New York City. This week, the rapper got into hot water after an alleged assault on a sound engineer in NYC. According to reports, the rapper unleashed on a man outside of Nebula in New York City and struck the individual in the face. The alleged victim filed a police report but authorities stated that he had no visible injuries. Scott also faces accusations of damaging $12K worth of equipment following the assault on the sound engineer.

Scott has yet to respond to the allegations, though he’s a wanted man in New York City. NYPD said they’re looking for the “SICKO MODE” rapper as a suspect of assault, though there have been conflicting reports surrounding the severity of the incident. Dorian Harrington, who booked Don Toliver’s concert where Scott appeared, told PEOPLE that the reports don’t reflect what he witnessed. “This is a total misunderstanding, and what I saw on stage doesn’t reflect what I read in the news. The music and the night turned out great and everyone left peacefully,” Harrington said.

Travis Scott’s Alleged Victim Speaks Out

Fox5 News caught up with the alleged victim, who was identified as Mark, from a hospital bed. “My neck is f**ked up. My arm is tingling. I have pins and needles going down it,” he said. He explained that things started to go left during Scott’s DJ set, which he described as being too loud and distorted. “[Travis Scott] stuck his middle finger in my face,” Mark recalled. “So I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.”

Scott reportedly went on a rampage afterward where he destroyed $12K worth of equipment, including speakers and a visual screen. However, the rapper’s attorney, Mitchell Schuster, said the whole situation is “a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation.” He added that he believes Scott will be “cleared of any wrongdoing” following a full investigation. Check out Mark’s interview above.

Ja Morant Threat Allegations: Twitter Reacts

Twitter blew up with reactions to disturbing allegations made against Ja Morant on Wednesday (March 1). Moreover, the Memphis Grizzlies star allegedly threatened a 17-year-old with a gun after the latter threw a ball at him during a pick-up game. Furthermore, this news follows previous reports that the teen is suing Morant for assaulting him. While the NBA player hasn’t said anything publicly of this as of yet, he did post an Instagram Story of the track “No Weapon.” If reading too deeply into social media posts is you’re thing, you’re in luck. If not, people still had some notable reactions to this news.

Even though this altercation seems like it could’ve happened anywhere, Morant actually hosted the pick-up game at his residence. Also, the 23-year-old admitted to hitting the teen, but claimed that it was only because of self-defense. Not only is Morant directly tied to this incident, but also some of his family members like allegedly his brother. From a defendant’s perspective, it seems like the family felt in danger after the teen’s actions. However, it’s very unclear who misinterpreted who in this scenario, and who sought to escalate things in this way.

Fans React To Ja Morant Threat Allegations

However, it’s not the first in a string of alleged threats or controversies the young guard is tied to. For example, a close friend allegedly pointed a red dot at a group of Indiana Pacers supporters after a game. Shortly after accusations spread around social media, he quickly denied such claims. “Did a investigation seen they were cappin,” he tweeted. “Still let a article come out to paint this negative image on me & my fam. & banned my brother from home games for a year. Unbelievable.”

Meanwhile, these new revelations about Morant come from previously unpublished interviews concerning the incident. “The teenage boy told police that after Morant punched him, the NBA star emerged from his house with a gun in the waistband of his pants, according to police interviews obtained by The Post that not been previously reported,” reporter Molly Hensley-Clancy of The Washington Post tweeted. Regardless of your take, check out more reactions down below and return to HNHH for updates on Ja Morant.

DaBaby’s Alleged Assault Victim Wants $2M Over Beverly Hills Attack: Report

DaBaby knows his way around a courtroom but he faces a judge more frequently than one would hope. However, it appears that certain infractions of the law continue to haunt him. Per The Blast, a Beverly Hills hotel employee sued DaBaby for an alleged assault during the holidays in 2019. The incident was captured on camera and circulated immediately online before the employee filed a police report and a lawsuit.

The alleged victim now seeks $2M, claiming the rapper inflicted emotional damage and more. The assault occurred at a Marriott Hotel in December 2019, when the alleged victim, Cristofher Pocasangren, asked DaBaby for a selfie. The rapper declined but Pocasangren took a selfie anyways, leading to a heated confrontation. DaBaby asked Pocasangren to delete the photo afterward. He obliged but the rapper allegedly followed him back to the hotel where he assaulted him.

What’s Next In The Lawsuit Against DaBaby?

While DaBaby claimed self-defense in that case, he’s also facing another charge named Gary Pager, who also accused the rapper of assaulting him. The incident with Pager took place in North Carolina at a rental property that he owned. In an attempt to enforce “basic rental rules.” he ended up catching a case of the beats. This case was set for April. However, DaBaby’s attorney asked to push it back in order to resolve the other case with Pocasangren. His attorney stated since the information provided in Pager’s suit could potentially incriminate his client.

“If the trial date is not continued, [DaBaby] will not be able to respond to discovery or testify without providing information that could potentially incriminate him in the parallel criminal case. The trial date must be continued to protect [DaBaby’s] Fifth Amendment rights,” the rapper’s attorney wrote in a court filing. “[DaBaby] cannot be called to testify in this matter until after his criminal case has been resolved, which will not be until October 2023, at minimum,” his attorney wrote, referring to Pocasangren’s case.  DaBaby is clearly in a bit of a bind between these two lawsuits. We’ll continue to keep you updated on any further information surrounding the situation.

Judge Denies Mistrial Request In YSL Case

Chief Judge Ural Glanville has denied the request for a mistrial in the YSL RICO case. The defense filed the motion after a video recently leaked of investigators interrogating a man for the case. It’s unclear where the blame for the leaked video stems from. Both the prosecution and defense have refused to take responsibility. The update comes from Jozsef Papp, a crime and public safety reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“Judge Glanville said he plans to order an investigation into a leaked video that was shared in [sic] social media involving a state witness being questioned by investigators. Motion for mistrial is denied but Glanville is allowing lawyers to ask potential jurors about the video,” Papp wrote on Twitter, Wednesday, before noting that Glanville remarked, “I’m blaming everybody.” He continued: “Glanville gave them a warning that if it happens again, he will restrict attorneys to only be able to view discovery in his chambers.”

Young Thug In Atlanta

News of the denial comes after an attorney representing defendant Jayden Myrick requested a mistrial, back in February. They argued that the sharing of discovery material violated the client’s Sixth Amendment right to a fair and impartial jury. The motion read: “While said evidence may not directly implicate my client, it along with all of the publicity and courtroom incidents since the start of this trial that have not been the result of any conduct of my client, Jayden Myrick, make it impossible for him to receive a fair trial, as well as a jury that is honestly and truly fair and impartial.”

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has filed a motion that would mandate that defense attorneys can only view similar videos while in her office and cannot record them. In response, Defense Attorney Keith Adams said: “You don’t just file a motion and make these allegations when you’ve got absolutely no basis to back that up, and that’s what’s happened in this case.” Adams says not allowing him to make copies would limit his access to evidence that could help defend his clients and therefore would be unconstitutional. He added that he doesn’t believe a defense attorney leaked the video.

Jalen Carter Responds To Warrant: “I Will Be Fully Exonerated”

Earlier this morning (March 1), University of Georgia star football player Jalen Carter was charged with two misdemeanors. The charges stemmed from a crash that killed one of his teammates and another Georgia staffer. Issued with two warrants for reckless driving and racing, Carter was racing the now-deceased Devin Willock in a Jeep Trackhawk, according to reports. Police said that alcohol was involved in the incident.

News broke of this just hours before the start of the 2023 NFL combine. Scheduled for April, most 2023 NFL Draft boards have Carter predicted to be a top-10 pick. Today, Carter intended to speak to NFL media at the combine. But, after the story broke regarding his warrants, he skipped out on the press conference. However, the NFL said he was still receiving his physical in the medical testing area. He will not speak with the media at the combine for the rest of the week.

Jalen Carter’s Statement

Shortly after the various reports came out and individuals such as his Georgia head coach Kirby Smart made statements, Carter decided to clear the air. Via Twitter, Jalen released a statement at 1:13 p.m. ET maintaining his innocence for these charges.

“This morning I received a telephone call from the Athens Georgia Police Department informing me that two misdemeanor warrants have been issued against me for reckless driving and racing,” he wrote. “Numerous media reports also have circulated this morning containing inaccurate information concerning the tragic events of January 15, 2023. It is my intention to return to Athens to answer the misdemeanor charges against me and to make certain that the complete and accurate truth is presented. There is no question in my mind that when all of the facts are known that I will be fully exonerated of any criminal wrongdoing.”

The crash that took Chandler LeCroy’s life came less than a week after Georgia won the NCAA championship. Carter was a key piece in the team’s success. It’s unclear how NFL teams hoping to draft Carter will respond to these warrants. But, with Carter cooperating, potentially he could clear his name and leave this in the past.

Witness In YSL Case Believed To Be In Danger After Interrogation Leaks Online

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis says that she’s concerned for a witness’ safety after footage of their interrogation for the YSL trial leaked online. The video shows an unidentified man speaking with authorities for the case against Young Thug. It has over 30 million views online. Willis says that she’s unsure how the video got out, but that the prosecution has possessed it for over a year. They only handed over to the defense two months ago.

“It puts people’s lives in danger,” Willis told WSB-TV‘s Mark Winne. “My worst fear is that it is used as an intimidating tactic and people might be hurt.” Willis noted a large number of comments on a YouTube post of the video that threaten the man’s life. In the viral video, the man appears to tell investigators, “This is a murder that’s about to take place with some very hot people, and [inaudible] the stuff that I know right now should be able to help me get out my situation.” Defense Attorney Keith Adams addressed the leak saying, “I’m happy to have them make a determination or find out where it came from. I know it didn’t come from us!”

Willis has since filed a motion that would mandate that defense attorneys can only view similar videos in her office and cannot record them. In response, Adams said: “You don’t just file a motion and make these allegations when you’ve got absolutely no basis to back that up, and that’s what’s happened in this case.” Adams says not allowing him to make copies would be unconstitutional as it would limit their access to evidence that could help them defend their clients. He added that he doesn’t believe a defense attorney leaked the video.

The YSL trial is still many months off from kicking off. Through May, more than 1,200 jurors will appear in court to watch a pre-recorded reading of the indictment for the YSL case. They will also be hearing the preliminary jury instructions, filling out a questionnaire, and more.

Nipsey Hussle’s Death: Timeline Of Events

Nipsey Hussle was taken from the world on March 31, 2019. He left behind a legacy for not only the rap world but the world of go-getters and dream achievers everywhere. Those connected to him only had positive things to say about him and how he carried himself. Even in 2023, clips from his interviews where he gives advice of all kinds are still being circulated. Nipsey was a celebrated figure not only in California but all across the USA and beyond. His lasting impact on the world of rap and the culture at large will be forever felt, cherished and remembered.

Unfortunately, Nipsey Hussle’s life was cut short long before due to someone else’s behavior. The death itself is tragic and the location where it happened only makes the situation even more disheartening. The day Nipsey Hussle passed was that of sadness and grief but also confusion. Nipsey was not someone who frequently spoke ill of others nor did he often have public disputes. In fact, he prided himself on making connections that could benefit both parties involved, whether he was one of them or not.

The public learned of Nipsey Hussle’s death the day it happened. Due to the age of social media we are currently in, the news spread quickly and flooded timelines. Coverage of the situation happened in real-time with details coming in practically every minute. There was footage of various stages of the event being circulated too which was very disturbing for many people.

Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in South Central Los Angeles on March 31, 2019. The location of the shooting was in front of his store, The Marathon Clothing. Nipsey was signing autographs so there was a large crowd there. This large crowd can be seen in the aforementioned footage that began circulating social media and the scenes of sadness and chaos are quite discouraging. The location that was once known as a symbol of Nipsey’s legacy literally brought to life has now also become the location of the end of the same legacy.

The Case for His Death was Straightforward

Eric Holder Jr. was the gunman who shot Nipsey Hussle at least ten times and also kicked him in the head. There were two other people who were also injured because of Holder’s behavior and were taken to the hospital. Due to the large number of people, Holder was identified easily. Holder’s behavior was not an isolated situation of senseless violence but rather him overreacting in the worst possible way. Nipsey and him had some sort of disagreement related to snitching to police that led to him responding the way he did.

Eric Holder Jr. was arrested for his crime on April 2,2019, days after he had committed the act. His court appearance was in mid-June 2022 after being indicted on May 9,2019. The charges in the indictment were one count of murder,  one count of possession of a firearm by a felon and two counts each of attempted murder and assault with a firearm. Holder pleaded not guilty but Deputy District Attorney John McKinney told jurors that Holder had full intention to kill Hussle. By July 6, 2022 they found Holder guilty and charged with first-degree murder as well as two counts of attempted voluntary manslaughter. The second charge comes as a result of the other two injured individuals as a result of the shooting. On February 22, 2023 Eric Holder Jr. was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison for causing the death of Nipsey Hussle.

The loss of Nipsey Hussle was tragic for his South Central Los Angeles community and the state of California. They held his Celebration of Life Memorial service on April 11, 2019 in the Crypto.com Arena which was known as the Staples Center then. Due to Nipsey’s involvement in his community, the service was open to the public and tickets were free. Additionally, the service was available to stream live online so his supporters from all over could virtually attend. In person attendees included Snoop Dogg, LA radio host Big Boy, Kendrick Lamar and other fellow West Coast figures. Other attendees included celebrities of all kinds with several of them speaking and performing.

The funeral procession for Nipsey Hussle brought the title of his debut album Victory Lap to life with a 25.5 mile route. Supporters from all over stood along the route to pay their respects to their legendary leader. Justice has been served for Nipsey since his murderer will be imprisoned for a long time for his crime. His family can continue to focus on keeping his memory alive and living their lives to make him proud. As a part of keeping his memory alive, the intersection between Crenshaw Boulevard and West Slauson Ave has been named Ermias “Nipsey Hussle” Asghedom Square. The way the city of Los Angeles chose to honor Nipsey Hussle’s death was not only honorable but a testament to his impact on the city. Nipsey is survived by his partner Lauren London and their two children, Kross and Emani.

Is Playboi Carti In Jail?

Playboi Carti was arrested recently over a situation that happened in December 2022. The Whole Lotta Red rapper’s name is frequently in the headlines but,not for the expected reasons. Playboi Carti notoriously takes a long time to drop music and often cryptically teases dropping it. Some would say he teases the music more than he releases it. In some cases he will formally say something is coming and then it doesn’t. Being a Playboi Carti fan means you must have patience and take things with a grain of salt. A post that indicates new music is coming may actually just be for aesthetic purposes. Or, it may have meant new music was coming but behind the scene factors prevented it from coming out. Listeners have seen things like this since they’ve been following him and many are annoyed but also laugh off their frustrations.

Playboi Carti lands in the middle ground as far as social media activeness. He does not post regularly but does have a handful of viral memes. If anything, for a small amount of time, he was active on Twitter more regularly than Instagram. This happened specifically during the lead up to him dropping his highly anticipated album Whole Lotta Red. Throughout this time period he had a very distinct way of tweeting that also lined up with his Instagram captions. Fans were typing in his stylized way to reference/make fun of him. Carti did not regularly talk about his personal life. Many found out about his relationship with Iggy Azalea randomly. Or, when she was talking about her disapproval of his behavior.

His Music Persona is Bigger than His Personal One

Many listeners know Carti for his high energy music. He often dances, runs and yells while on stage performing and keeps the energy of the crowd on his level. But, many do not know what he is like outside of this even considering the handful of interviews he has done. His limited social media usage is one of the contributing factors to this. However, some may view this as a change of pace and contrast to people who are on social media too much. When there’s breaking news about his personal lie, many people are surprised. The situation catches them off guard because they may have little to no context for it.

Some say his unbridled energy is an example of vulnerability. His image visually and music go hand in hand as forms of extroverted expression.  Sometimes his lyrics give listeners glimpses into his personal life but these situations are few and far between. Also, unfortunately,  these lyrics are typically negative and give listeners a glimpse into Carti’s corrupted mental state.  When fans hear things like this, they cannot help but be concerned for him. They want him to be around for a long time so they can continue to enjoy his music. If he needs help, they want him to get it and for those around him to ensure he gets it.

Playboi Carti has a Child with Iggy Azalea

Playboi Carti and Iggy Azalea have one child, named Onyx, together. Considering everything the two of them have been through in regards to the child, the two of them are no longer together. Iggy has spoken on the challenges of co-parenting with him and why she has decided to raise their son on her own. Iggy said he did not want to celebrate Christmas with her and their son in December 2020. She also said she had to cease direct communication with him. Apparently, this was due to how poorly he treated her when speaking to her. In an interview with XXL in 2022, Carti painted a completely different picture for the dynamic of the relationship. She responded to this with a series of tweets, essentially saying Carti was lying and his team wanted him to have a good image.

Fans do not know a lot about Carti and Iggy’s relationship because they kept most of the relationship under wraps.  Many listeners were genuinely surprised about the couple when the news was revealed. The fact the two of them also had a child together was perhaps even more surprising for them.  The two of them met in 2018 and moved in together the same year. In June 2020, Iggy announced she had a son named Onyx. His name fits the jewel theme of her government name, Amethyst. Initially, Iggy said Carti was a part of their son’s life and went out of her way to make that clear to her followers. As time progressed things changed drastically and Iggy went from defending him to confronting him.

This is not the First Time He’s Been Charged

Playboi Carti has a varied criminal history with a series of charges that all had the same end result. With his financial status, Carti has been able to make bond for all of his charges so far. His first charge was in 2017 for misdemeanor domestic battery. This occurred when he got into an argument with his girlfriend at the time. He posted a $20,000 bond the next day after being kept in jail overnight.  His next arrest came in 2020. The charge was possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, expired tags and improperly passing an emergency vehicle. His friend, who was also in the car, took the more severe charges.

Furthermore, in 2018 he got into an argument with one of the drivers of his tour bus. Apparently, the bus was having mechanical issues and the alternative method was not to Carti’s satisfaction. This happened overseas in Europe, specifically Scotland, while Carti was on a European tour there. According to the second driver, Carti punched the first driver in the face. He also stated he saw Carti throw things around the bus which resulted in damages of various levels.  His management team said he was acting in self defense and once again, wanted to protect his image. Carti was convicted for this scenario and went to court. He paid a fine of $1,300 which is about 800 pounds in their currency and far less than what he had previously paid.

Playboi Carti was Arrested Last Year

Playboi Carti is not in jail right now but he was arrested in December 2022. He was arrested for allegedly choking his girlfriend who was 14 weeks pregnant at the time. While the full details are currently scarce, people do know the situation involved a paternity test. Most of his listeners did not find out about this until February 2023. For many, this seems to be another entry in a pattern of behavior. It seems they have learned about his romantic relationships only because of some sort of issue that was happening in it. His listeners hope to learn more about the current situation and hope it can be resolved in whatever way possible.

Naturally, they also want to see a change in his behavior going forward. Rappers getting arrested is far too common and Carti has already been arrested several times. For rappers who are not active on social media it is very surprising when news of their arrest breaks. But, this is because listeners do not know what the person is truly like outside of the music. Carti chooses to keep most of his personal life offline but then does something so severe it can’t be ignored. His listeners hope these types of situations where he gets  in legal trouble completely stop and he can get his life together.

Travis Scott Allegedly Punched Sound Engineer, Damaged $12K Of Equipment: Report

Travis Scott’s been lowkey in the public eye over the past year and a half. Following the Astroworld Festival tragedy, the rapper’s kept his head down as he works on his next album. Scott’s continuously teased the release of Utopia for a minute now, unveiling singles like “Franchise” to build up the anticipation. However, there have been promising updates in recent times, including one from Epic Records CEO who said the project would drop in June.

Scott hasn’t confirmed the release date but he promised fans the album would arrive soon. He recently said that it would conclude an epic run from the Cactus Jack roster. During a recent performance, he said that fans should expect a new EP from SoFaygo before the release of Utopia. Kicking off the Cactus Jack 2023 releases is Don Toliver who just released Love Sick on Friday and its deluxe on Tuesday – Scott appears on the bonus single “Embarrassed,” produced by Wheezy. Shortly after, Scott appeared at Toliver’s New York City performance, though it looks like things went sideways at some point in the evening.

Per Page Six, NYPD listed Travis Scott as a suspect in an assault case following an altercation on Wednesday morning. Police said the rapper got into an argument with the sound engineer outside of the Nebula nightclub around 3 a.m. The issues between them escalated and Scott allegedly punched the man in the face and damaged $12K worth of property. Scott allegedly damaged a speaker and video screen before he left the venue. Authorities said he was last seen leaving the venue in an unknown vehicle. The cause of the alleged altercation has yet to be confirmed.

Police said that the victim didn’t have any visible injuries from the alleged assault nor did he suffer pain when he filed his report. No arrests have been made but police are currently looking for Travis Scott after a complaint was filed. The rapper faces charges of assault and criminal mischief if he’s arrested. So far, Travis Scott nor the venue have issued any statements regarding the incident. We will keep you posted surrounding anymore updates on this case.

Kay Flock Shows Gains In New Jail Photo

It’s been well over a year since Bronx up-and-comer Kay Flock was taken into custody for the murder of 24-year-old Oscar Hernandez. Police released footage from the Dec. 2021 incident, which sees Kay—real name Kevin Perez—approaching the victim once noticing him in a barber shop. As the 19-year-old awaits trial, he’s unfortunately been hit with yet another charge, this time for racketeering. On Feb. 23, Kay Flock was federally indicted for allegedly running the Sev Side/DOA gang with five others.

In spite of the charges brought against him, the “Make A Movie” drill artist appears to be maintaining behind bars. In a newly-obtained image, a noticeably larger Kay Flock is seen posting up in his cell. Dressed in jail garb and all-white Air Force 1’s, the photo is captioned with lyrics from King Von’s “How It Go” single. Kay updated fans about his case almost one year ago on Instagram, letting them know not to “believe the blogs or the internet” as “all is good.” In a recent phone call he’s heard saying “I’ll be back real soon, 2023 March, ya heard?” As we enter the month in question, that sadly doesn’t seem to be happening.

Kay Flock Shows Off His Progress

Jeffrey Lichtman, former attorney of El Chapo, announced he will be taking on the murder case in July 2022. Calling Kay Flock “a good kid,” Lichtman writes: “I’m looking forward to winning his trial. When the facts come out I think people will be shocked he was even charged.” He also claims it was an act of self-defense, as Kay was presented with no other options. He expounded on the cases in a recent interview with Fox 5’s Lisa Evers, as well as his new podcast, Beyond the Legal Limit. The episode, released Monday (Feb. 27) can now be streamed on Apple, Spotify, and iHeartRadio.

In the interim, Kay Flock has continued to release new music, with his latest offering having dropped in December. The D.O.A. Tape: Care Package is an extension to his debut, and sees previously released records like “Geeked Up” with Gucci Mane and Flock’s Cardi-B-assisted “Shake It” single.
