Much of Sexyy Red’s appeal is her outspoken demeanor, relatable personality, and commitment to being unapologetically herself. Of course, this has earned her a fair bit of backlash in the past, but overall, makes her easy to root for. It also leads some fans to troll the femcee online, as oftentimes, it can elicit hilarious responses.

Earlier this week, for example, content creator and actress Alysha Burney hopped online to call Sexyy out. She shared what appears to be an old clip of herself and the “SkeeYee” artist posing for a photo in a store, claiming that they’re related. “Happy Birthday Cousin @sexyyred,” she captioned the clip. “Why you leave us in the hood like that? Grandma mad at you, she said call her [heart emoji].” Her post caused some confusion among comments, with many questioning whether or not Burney and Sexyy are actually cousins.

Sexyy Red wasted no time in clearing things up, however, promptly taking to Twitter/X to respond. “Anybody kno dis box head btch?” she replied. Her blunt reaction left some feeling as though she took things too far. Luckily, it doesn’t seem as though Burney took the diss to heart, as she’s continued her trolling spree with additional fun clips about the exchange. Moreover, Bardi recently sat down for a conversation with Big Boy and told him about how the two femcees are actually closer than what they or fans expected.

“A lot of people don’t know this,” Cardi B began. “Like, nah, this is a true story. Like, I don’t like to put my family business [out there], like, but he used to push weight and everything. And there was, like, this one time that, like… you know, like, he lived in Tennessee and whatever. So he ain’t really told, like, my grandma that he was dealing with somebody over there. Then, like, he had, like, a kid out there. And, you know, like, that’s GloRilla’s dad and everything, so that’s why me and cuz related.”

Meanwhile, this is what GloRilla had to say about Cardi B being there for her throughout her career. “She had hit me up already when I was blowing up,” she expressed concerning her cousin back in October of 2022. “Soon as I had landed in New York and I was going through the airport, she had sent me a little voicemail message, you know, giving me advice and motivating me like that. She’ll like my stuff, then when I was in the studio one day and I was listening to all my songs like, ‘Who can I put on this song?’

Moreover, during a recent Instagram Live session, he addressed a decade-long narrative about him allegedly getting his cousin pregnant. For those unaware, the rapper faced this discussion after a 2012 social media post of his naming it as the reason why he called it quits with former Destiny’s Child star LeToya Luckett. However, given his thoughts on the matter during this recent stream, it seems like this could’ve all been just a big ruse. After all, especially eleven years ago, the Houston native is quite the troll on social media, and some things are too spicy or enticing to pass up.

“I got a baby by my cousin?” Slim Thug asked his viewers on IG Live. “Which one of my aunties or uncles did I get pregnant with their child? Stop the cap, man. They come up with some bulls**t like that. Stop the cap. Show me any of my aunties and uncles I got one of my cousin’s pregnant. You d*mb motherf***ers. It come from when I trolled a long time ago saying some s**t like that on Twitter. This is where that s**t come from,” the Midlife Crisis artist concluded.

If you didn’t hear, the 43-year-old faced backlash for suggesting that there should be a limit of sorts for victims accusing their abusers. This was both in terms of the time that they should take between the alleged act and the suit, and also alluding to the amount of money they can get from it. However, after folks started to push back against this, he issued a bit of an apology. “That was my personal opinion. I’m sorry we don’t agree on everything…” Thug remarked. “I don’t hate Cassie, I didn’t even know Cassie was black.”

Meanwhile, we’re sure that this won’t be the end of his wild and often lewd takes. The legendary rapper, who is worth approximately $2.5 billion, explained his side of the situation while speaking with Kevin Hart on his talk show, Hart to Heart, in a clip that has resurfaced on social media.

JAY-Z went on to say that he was frustrated when his cousin remarked that he didn’t “believe in their dream.” The cousin also suggested it would return Jay a profit of $2 million. The comments have been dividing fans on social media, with many suggesting it was a selfish move by Hov.

Rihanna’s Cousin Tanella Alleyne Dead In Barbados Years After Brother’s Fatal Shooting

Rihanna’s life has been filled to the brim with blessings lately. Unfortunately, the 35-year-old is currently feeling the pain of losing a family member. As per Loop Barbados News, the “Diamonds” singer’s cousin, Tanella Alleyne, died suddenly in her home country last month. It’s an especially tough loss for the Fenty clan, seeing as the 28-year-old’s brother, Tavon, was fatally shot just six years before, which still weighs heavily on their hearts. The outlet notes that Tanella’s funeral took place on Monday (August 28) at St. George Parish Church.

It’s unclear whether Rihanna was able to attend so soon after giving birth. We can confirm her beautiful ballad “Lift Me Up” was played at her cousin’s celebration of life. A member of the family, Miguel Fenty, sent a message out on Twitter afterward reflecting on recent events. “What a beautiful funeral service Tanella [had], like it’s still surreal to me,” he wrote. “Seeing her in that casket really hit me and I cried not too long ago.”

When asked whether he and the West Coast legend are cousins, he didn’t specify their relation, but gave credence to their bond.

“I’ve always [know] that Snoop’s people was from Detroit,” Boldy James explained. “He’s got family in Detroit. My mom, my grandma, my grandpops, their family is the only Broaduses I’ve ever known besides, you know, Snoop and his family. My people used to always tell me that we was related to them even before I was doing music. Now that I do music, a lot of people tell me- in the ‘Speed Demon’ video with me and Alchemist, they tell me, with that Supreme jersey I had on, I looked like Snoop in ‘Gin and Juice.’

Woman Accused Of Killing Beyonce’s Cousin Begins Trial

Beyonce’s cousin Kardone, born Martell DeRouen, was fatally shot in January of 2021. The aspiring rapper was only 34 years old when he died of a single gunshot wound. The woman accused of his murder, Sasha Skare, has now begun her trial. She allegedly shot him at his apartment following a verbal altercation that took a turn for the worst.

Yesterday (August 29), jurors were shown security footage of Skare making her way through a hallway with a gun, headed toward DeRouen’s apartment. Audio from a 911 call made on the night of the murder was also played in the courtroom. During the call, a woman tells dispatchers that she’s locked out of her apartment and injured, claiming to be DeRouen’s wife, Joia. Joia, however, claims that the voice on the recording isn’t hers. She instead alleges that Skare was the one to make the call, claiming that she gave dispatchers false information.

Sasha Skare Appears To Have A Gun In Security Footage

“She pronounced the last name wrong,” she explained. “My name starts with a J and not a G. He was not 28, he was 34. Not correct at all.” Various witnesses who lived nearby also told police that they heard DeRouen and Skare arguing on the night of the murder. They say they heard DeRouen telling Skare to leave, followed by the sound of a door slamming. Banging on the apartment door was later heard, and eventually, a gunshot.

Pedro Padilla, who lived in the apartment building, told the jury that his Ring doorbell camera captured Skare walking through the hallway that evening. He also claims that he heard the gunshot shortly before he left for dinner. “I thought it was just a firework,” he explained. Another witness, who lived across the hall from DeRouen, claims she heard banging just before 9 p.m. She believed it was a food delivery she had placed, and opened the door to find a woman pounding on the victim’s door. Boosie Badazz Plans To Break Cousin’s Jaw Over Stolen Money

Boosie Badazz is still on the hunt for his cousin, who stole some money from him. The Lousiana rapper revealed that his cousin actually robbed him of $7,000. He explained that he obtained footage, before releasing it publicly, proving that his own blood went into his home and left with plenty of cash. Evidently, Boosie isn’t forgetting about this either and plans to send a message whenever he ends up tracking down his cousin.

During a recent interview with Vlad TV, Boosie Badazz explained that his cousin actually went into his room to find the money after he left. He explained that he spotted that all of the $100 bills were gone. Unfortunately, by the time he got the security footage, his cousin was nowhere to be found. “But I had to wait five hours for him to come from where he was so on that five hours I’m waiting on the cameraman to come back he had slipped off. Ended up going to get a room or you know. So he had slipped out. When he came back he was busted,” he explained.

Boosie explained that the money was never returned to him. In fact, he said that he hasn’t seen his cousin since the incident went down. However, its family and they’re bound to run into each other in the near future. “This my blood. When I see him I’m gonna break his jaw,” Boosie said. “We gonna butch him as soon as we see him.” At this point, Vlad asked if Boosie’s even interested in having the stolen cash returned to him.

“Nah, I wanna black your eye,” Boosie said. “Knock out one of your teeth or hurt you physically. [Then] we good. We good. But I’m gonna send you to the hospital. I’m gonna make you get stitches,” he added. “I was out looking for him the other day I was gonna cut his pinky off, but I can’t catch him. I can’t catch him. I’m steady getting drops on him though. When I catch him, I’m gonna take that chance of going to jail.”
