Lil Reese Denies Inciting Violence Amid Bhad Bhabie Controversy

There is apparently a Lil Reese imposter on the loose, as the fake account left some comments surrounding the Bhad Bhabie situation. According to HipHopDX, the 21-year-old shared some truly disturbing footage and imagery from June 30 following an alleged physical assault by her baby daddy, Le Vaughn. If you are sensitive to violence, we highly suggest you not view the second “[Via]” link below. However, the evidence from Bhad Bhabie is there if you do want to view it. In the clips from around 4:30 a.m., she is thrown down repeatedly and after the gruesome altercation she was left with bruises, bumps, and cuts all over her face.

As of now, the post from the OF model/rapper has been deleted from her page. Le Vaughn has also not spoken out about any of it, and there is no word on if Bhabie has taken any legal action. She also wrote online talking about how she will not allow her partner custody of their child. “This man think he gonna take my daughter from me! Say whatever you want but tryna take my baby is crazy”. Tensions have been rising with this couple for some time and things seemingly escalated to unthinkable proportions.

As for how Chicago rapper Lil Reese ties into this development, let us explain. It appears that someone online is running a fake page and the troller commented on an X post surrounding the alleged abuse. “Lil Reese” was disgusted with the news and was willing to go after Le Vaughn. “Dis s*** so crazy… We gunna find dude ”. However, the real Reese wanted to clarify that he said nothing of the sort. “Bro that’s not me writing that ”. Fans were frankly not surprised that the Chief Keef affiliate was quick to shut that down. Many were citing his 2012 videotaped assault on a woman in Chicago. “Yeah cause we know you super punched a woman in 2012 and thought we forgot ”, one user wrote.

Snoop Dogg Refuses To Pick Sides In Drake Vs. Kendrick Lamar Beef, Chooses To Praise Both Instead

Snoop Dogg was sort of thrusted into the middle of the vicious battle between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. His voice was manipulated for the latter’s “Taylor Made Freestyle,” the second diss response and quick follow-up to “Push Ups.” The West Coast legend gave a signature reaction to the track on social media: “They did what? When? How? Are you sure? Y’all have a good night.” However, Snoop Dogg has never clearly stated what team he decided to rep. As of recent, we now have an answer, and it might bother the people who need to take sides in everything.

According to HipHopDX, the Doggystyle creator was asked by Entertainment Tonight what this beef meant to him, especially after witnessing some of the most legendary bloodbaths. However, Snoop Dogg shared a fairly rare and positive take about it all. “Well, the only thing I want to say about that whole scenario is that I want to give both of them a shout out for raising the bar as far as lyrics, as far as song-making and writing because the writing has been upped since the confrontation.”

Kelly Price Elaborates On Controversial Comments About Diddy

Diddy has been one of the most talked about names in hip-hop this year, though not for reasons anyone would want to be. Dating back to last year he’s been subject to a series of lawsuits accusing him of decades of predatory sexual behavior. That’s put many who have worked alongside him in his decades in the music industry in an awkward position. One of those was Kelly Price, who found herself facing controversy after commenting on one of the rap mogul’s Instagram posts.

Price’s initial comment spoke on forgiveness and Diddy’s talent. She encouraged him to seek forgiveness claiming that she’s seen him at his best and “representing light.” It’s easy to see why fans took issue with the suggestion that he should be forgiven for the bad behavior he’s been accused of. It looked particularly bad in the wake of the video proof of his actions against Cassie that leaked over the weekend. Now Price is attempting to clarify her comments with a series of videos posted to her Instagram story. In the clips she explains that she was merely telling Diddy he had to do “soul work.” She says that he has to do the hard work getting his soul right in order for there to ever be real change. Diddy Doubles Down On His Call For “Love” With His Latest Message To Fans

Last week, Diddy’s continued social media use was called into question by many fans. The rap mogul is in the middle of months of increasingly pressing legal trauma. It began last year with a lawsuit filed by Cassie alleging abusive behavior. Though it was quickly settled, that set the tone for the months since. He’s faced numerous new lawsuits since then including one particularly viral filing by producer Lil Rod. More treacherously though, two of his properties were raided by the federal government as part of an ongoing investigation into alleged sex trafficking.

Throughout all of it, he’s occasionally posted to Instagram basically as if nothing else is going on. Sometimes that’s promoting something he’s working on and other times its simply a life update. Last week he shared a video that seemed to ask fans why they were hating on him and imploring them to spread more love. That seems to be the theme at the core of his newest post as well. It’s a minimal affair with a caption that simply reads “LOVE” with a few emojis. The picture itself is simply plain black text that reads “time tells truth.” The message seems to be an attempt on the rap mogul’s part to claim that he’s innocent and that the truth about the allegations surrounding him will be revealed in time. Azealia Banks criticized Lizzo’s decision to quit music in the comments section of her announcement on Instagram over the weekend. In doing so, Banks argued that Lizzo invited the very trolling that caused her to fall out of love with the music industry. The comment comes after she previously apologized for taking aim at Lizzo over the years.

“I took back my criticism of you because it definitely clicked in my mind that I definitely wasn’t getting my point about the ways in which insidious people in corporate culture where positioning you to push demeaning initiatives, but sis your handle is ‘lizzo be eating.’ …. You’ve definitely given the public license to laugh at and with you by twerking at the Burger King counter and bathing in a tub of skittles,” Banks wrote. “Self-deprecation was certainly the aesthetic you chose to introduce yourself with. Remy Ma Says Female Rap Unity Started With Her, But Fans Aren’t Buying It

However, the former believes that she was among the first to really introduce the concept of female rap unity with her 2017 set at the Hot 97 Summer Jam. During that, she invited multiple other female rappers to come out and perform Queen Latifah’s classic hit “U.N.I.T.Y.” However, many fans didn’t really vibe with this statement, since the show was also heavily directed against Nicki herself. In addition, Queen did unity first, as Remy literally proved by paying homage during this performance.

Lil Baby Seemingly Hides Gunna Comments In His Twitter Replies

Unfortunately for fans of modern trap, it looks like we’ll never get the chance to hear what Drip Hardest would’ve sounded like. Moreover, the tensions between Lil Baby and Gunna ever since the latter’s plea deal in the YSL RICO case continue to become more deeply rooted. For example, one Twitter user noticed that, apparently, Baby hid one of his replies to a post that read the following: “stop dissing Gunna big dawg you breaking my heart.” While this is just social media speculation for the most part, since we’re not ruling out that this could be fabricated, it’s not surprising to hear that the 4PF rapper might not want to give the DS4EVER MC any more free publicity.

However, one important thing to consider here is that this beef stems from a much larger conversation. At the end of the day, multiple YSL members including Young Thug are still fighting for their side of the story in court. Thugger’s father even blasted Lil Baby for continuing to antagonize Gunna throughout this process. “He need to shut the f**k up ’cause he don’t know what’s going on,” Jeffrey Williams Sr. expressed during an interview. “You know he’s going off what he heard. Ask Lil Baby have he ever came to a court date. That’s what I want y’all to ask these goddamn rappers and these bloggers with this whole snitch sh*t.”

In addition, both lyricists also have their own careers to think about, and Gunna certainly walked away with 2023 thanks to a Gift & a Curse, or at least, when compared to Lil Baby’s output. He even came out with a new song this week titled “Bittersweet,” a perfect word to describe his post-plea success. Meanwhile, his Atlanta counterpart and former partner is still gearing up for his next album. “Sounds like every other sh*tty song he has made,” one person wrote. “The fall off YB had to be studied,” said another. Overall, the vibe of the other comments were very similar to this one. “Lol why they deadass all sound the same,” a person asked. While some were being mean to YoungBoy, there were certainly some fans who showed him a bit of grace. NLE Choppa Backs Drake After Yasiin Bey Says The Canadian’s Music Is Perfect For Shopping

Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, made some headlines after comments about another “hip-hop” great went quite viral. In a recent interview with The Cutting Room Floor, the Brooklyn icon was inquired about his thoughts on whether Drake is within the hip-hop circle or not. “Drake is pop to me. In the sense, like, if I was in Target in Houston, and I heard a Drake song. It feels like a lot of his music is compatible with… shopping. Or, as you know, shopping with an edge in certain instances.”

Unsurprisingly, fans were quick to dismiss Bey’s answer and so did NLE Choppa. The energetic Memphis rapper was in the comments section and was there to defend Drake at the drop of a hat. According to HipHopDX, this is what Choppa had to say. “They hate on this man so much it’s ridiculous. Dude catalog more than respectable. You can certainly look at it both ways. Bey’s remarks could be a low blow to Drake, especially after all of the more rap-centric hits he has. Saying he makes “pop music” can come across as jealousy of how much success he has had combining rap and pop on numerous occasions.
