Juelz Santana & Jadakiss Rep NY With Eerie Banger “Party N Bulls***”

Juelz Santana, for the last four years, has been pretty elusive. New music is a rarity from him these days, but things could be doing a 180 very soon. The Harlem, New York rapper could be working toward a new album for this year, and one of the main reasons why we have this hunch is his output lately. Just a few weeks ago, he put out “Score”, a simple yet effective NY drill cut ideal for when you to get locked in before a big game. Now, Juelz Santana has returned once more, this time bringing Jadakiss along, for “Party N Bulls***”.

Another factor playing into our LP prediction are the hashtags he has included frequently. “#BetterLateThenNever” was on his Instagram post for “Score”, as well as “Party N Bulls***”. Could this be the title for Juelz’s tape? One can only hope for now, but we are enjoying his much-needed return for now. On this single, him and Jadakiss both are rapping with hunger and confidence. “You just a palm boy, me, I got King’s Disease / Boys can’t compete with me, I’m too elite, you see / I’m a big stepper, don’t end up beneath my feet“. On top of the sticky one liners, the instrumental is also winner. Again, it is shaking things up, but the eerie piano keys and dark tone sell the intimidation aspect of “Party N Bulls***”.

Asake & Central Cee Blend Their Styles To Perfection On “Wave”

Asake and Central Cee really do not share a lot in common sonically, but “Wave” sees them work in perfect harmony. From funky instrumental to the confident and triumphant performances from both artists, this song has what it takes to be a smash hit. It seems it is well on its way to that title, as the track already has over one million views on YouTube in one day. This single comes at an exciting time for both Cee and Asake, too, making this moment even sweeter.

Let us start with UK drill phenom first. It seems we are just counting down the weeks until the hitmaker delivers his new album, CAN’T RUSH GREATNESS. After “BAND4BAND” with Lil Baby popped off not too long ago, it seems people are back on the CC hype train. As for Asake, “Wave” is possible the second promotional track for his fourth overall project. The Lagos, Nigeria native has not announced the title nor the release date yet. Even with the minimal information, it is coming soon for sure, as he just revealed the Lungu Boy World Tour on June 10. It should be one heck of a time this summer, and fans seem thrilled for him to set sail. See why “Wave” is going to be a powerhouse moving forward by clicking the YouTube video link below.

Ariana Grande Harmonizes With Brandy & Monica On Remix Of “The Boy Is Mine”

Ariana Grande had a lot of people talking and not in a good way about her new album eternal sunshine. The record centers around the complicated nature of relationships and the feeling of love overall. A lot of listeners were turned off by some of the lyrics and storytelling on her seventh project. Subsequently, it followed shortly after the divorce of Dalton Gomez. Many have labeled her as a homewrecker, as she is now in a new relationship with actor Ethan Slater. One of the tracks that makes reference to her “bad girl” side is “the boy is mine”, which now has a remix.

One of many hit songs on the record, Grande drew inspiration from Brandy and Monica’s 90’s track of the same name. So, in a bit of a full-circle moment, the Boca Raton, Florida native is now giving the R&B balladeers their flowers with this remix. Overall, there is not much of a difference from the original version of “the boy is mine” to this one. Brandy and Monica harmonize with Grande throughout, and the bridge and final repeating of the chorus are longer. There are high points, especially when their voices meld. It creates a rich sonic experience, and it is cool to see Grande work with these legends. The remix to “the boy is mine” is out now and is released as a two-pack with the inaugural version.

Tyga & 310babii Collide On Bouncy Single “Uh Huh”

Tyga is staying hot as he drops a club-ready track with 310babii, “Uh Huh”. This is now the California veteran’s third solo release of the year, following “Sensei” and “Hello B*tch”. The latter is taking off, raking in about 2.2 million views on YouTube in two weeks. Part of the reason it is doing so well is the instrumental and the sample that it works in. Lil Jon’s classic “Couldn’t Be A Better Playa” is used to great effect, modernizing the eerie beat for the youth. In a similar way to “Hello B*tch”, Tyga is putting people on to something or someone many people might not know. 310babii is relatively new to the rap game, with the Inglewood, California native blowing up just last year.

The song to know is “soak city”, which has an equally popular alternate all-West Coast version. Tyga makes an appearance, along with Blueface, OHGEESY, and the BlueBucksClan. Subsequently, that seems to be where him and 310 begun to develop some synergy. Now, Tyga has him one of his tracks, that being “Uh Huh”. Also like the last single, this one is also ready for the night club atmosphere. Both rappers are extremely braggadocious, as per usual, and the instrumental is also pretty ear-grabbing. The quick piano keys and heavy bass play really nice together. Tyga and 310 do find pockets very quickly and they are able to keep things engaging throughout the short but punchy run time. There is a chance that this track, along with the other two we mentioned, do have some chance of making an album this year. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but if Tyga proceeds in that manner he has a solid record on his hands.

YG Drops Booty Popping Anthem “SHAKE” Along With Kaliii & Stunna Girl

YG is keeping the singles coming, as he returns with summer-ready track, “SHAKE”. This is the supposed fourth promotional record for his forthcoming album, Just Re’d Up 3. It will be the latest entry into this mixtape series, but tradition is being broken a bit. The Compton, California rapper announced that it was going to be an album instead, so we will see how that effects the final product if at all. It will be the veteran’s first solo project since 2022’s I GOT ISSUES. However, it will be an immediate follow-up to Hit Me When U Leave The Klub: The Playlist. That was a collaboration offering with fellow Cali native Tyga and featured the smash hit “Brand New” with Lil Wayne.

Speaking of which, Weezy figures to be one of many guests on Just Re’d Up 3. So far though, he is the third feature we know of, as YG recruited Kaliii and Stunna Girl for “SHAKE”. However, YG also showed what kind of solo performances we might be in for with “KNOCKA” and “WEIRD” being those examples. On “SHAKE”, all three artists are rapping about exactly what you would expect on a song title like this. If you assumed butts and booties of sizes, then you would be correct. YG really hammers that point home on the accompanying NSFW music video, which you can find below.

ManMan Savage & KEY! Aren’t Showing “Favoritism” To Anyone On New Single

ManMan Savage is a veteran from the rich city of Atlanta that a lot of people may not know about. If you are one of those people, you should definitely give him a shot. He has been around for about nine years, dropping his first song, “Takin Shots”, on July 31, 2015. It would not be until 2018 when he would nab his first hit song, though. “She A Freak”, featuring Ohgeesy and 03 Greedo, actually remains at the top of his most popular songs, with over 11.6 million streams. Throughout his career, ManMan has dropped some fun, lowkey, and intoxicating trap bangers that feature some slightly left-field production. One of those tracks that follows that similar formula is “Favoritism”, which is ManMan Savage’s most recent release.

Over this futuristic, video game-like beat, him and KEY! are not playing favorites. Across the 1:43 second runtime, both are rapping with a lot of energy about not giving any woman or competitor special treatment. At one point during “Favoritism,” ManMan Savage and KEY! trade bars, which helps break up the song nicely. This is the Chicago-born native’s second single of 2024 so far. It follows up “FR FR”, which got a wider release than “Favoritism”, and dropped back in May. Furthermore, this comes after a massive 2023. During that year, ManMan Savage was on tear, dropping album after album. In fact, the dude put out five projects, one of which was a collaborative effort with MexikoDro. As we mentioned, “Favoritism” is not out on all platforms. In fact, you can only find the ManMan Savage and KEY! collab on YouTube. Click the link below to check it out.

Capella Grey Previews Upcoming Album With “Strings” Featuring French Montana & Fivio Foreign

Capella Grey has grown his brand very well over the course of his career. The Bronx, New Yorker has mixed elements of rap, R&B, and dancehall to create a very unique sound, one that he can partially thank for his Jamaican roots. In addition to this, he also has his own label, Allepac the Family (Capella backwards), in the early stages of the 2020 decade. The solo catalog is still a work in progress for the 28-year-old multi-hyphenate, as he has just two shorter projects to boast right now. Both dropped in 2023 and one was more of a Christmas/holiday-themed record. So, if you wanted to be really technical about it, Capella only has one album out. Soon though, that album catalog will expand to two it seems. If you head over to his Instagram page his bio reads, “Vibe Responsibly Vol.1 [6/21]”. There is not much information on it when it comes to tracklist or features, but we do a small piece to the puzzle now. That would be Capella Grey’s “Strings” with French Montana and Fivio Foreign.

This is one of many single releases for him this year, but it is his fifth solo offering. On “Strings”, Capella Grey sings about wanting to be with a woman without any commitment. Fivio and French share the same sentiments, as the duo raps over a mix of dancehall and R&B instrumentation. The rhythm is there, and the melodies from Capella add a nice bit of extra sauce to the track overall. If you want, you can check out “Strings” on YouTube with the link below or on your favorite streaming service.

DDG Surprise Drops “Top” Featuring Blueface & Swae Lee To YouTube

DDG has been a massive presence on YouTube for quite some time. The video creator is still dropping non-music related material on the platform over on his vlog channel. However, ever since his music career started bubbling in the late 2010’s, early 2020’s, the Pontiac, Michigan native has certainly prioritized that craft. He has a lot of massive tracks and ones that are platinum and gold certified, such as “Moonwalking in Calabasas” and “I’m Geekin”. In addition, he has several projects under his belt, including the It’s Me series, which kicked off in 2022. Due to his rapid growth, DDG has been able to gain a great deal of co-signs. From Gunna to NLE Choppa, BIA, Luh Tyler, Polo G, and Kevin Gates, he is not a YouTuber-rapper anymore. Once again, DDG is back for a new release in 2024 with this one being called “Top” with Blueface and Swae Lee.

This is his third solo and fourth overall offering so far. The first was a feature on the Blueface project Free Blueface. Then, in late February, he dropped “Going To The Top”, which would be followed by “Shoot Up Your Block”. On the latter, produced by Cash Cobain, DDG made a lot of references to the birth of his son with Halle Bailey in a cute and hilarious way. Furthermore, the 26-year-old multi-hyphenate also dropped off “Straight Outta Pontiac” to YouTube. So, this makes “Top” the second to have a limited release. This track was something that was found in the archives 🔥”, according to DDG’s post on IG just moments ago. Go run up the views with the video below.

French Montana Is Already Back Action With Skilla Baby-Assisted Banger “Skyami”

French Montana has always been someone who drops at a frequent rate. In 2024, the Moroccan rapper is proving that to be case again. So far, the veteran hitmaker has been all over the place in terms of features. In the first half of the year, we have seen him collaborate with Rick Ross and Meek Mill, Lola Brooke, Diddy, 21 Savage, and The Weekend, as well as Stunna Girl. Then, when you look at his solo catalog, he has singles out the ying-yang. From Swae Lee to Kodak Black, Lil Baby and ATL Jacob, he has been in the studio with everyone. The latter two were just a small portion of the guests on the fifth Mac & Cheese mixtape, which dropped in late February. Now, French Montana is back at it with “Skyami”, a single with first-time teammate, Skilla Baby.

Like French, the Detroit native has also been seen with a massive collection of talent. It has really been a coming out party for the rising star from the Midwest. On “Skyami”, both artists are celebrating their wins. Whether it be endless stacks of money, the women, or bossing up on the haters, they are unapologetically living their best lives. You can check out the Montana single, which he also co-produced, with the link below or on streaming services.

Raveena & JPEGMAFIA Deliver A Cute Late Summer Night Love Song “Junebug”

Raveena is a name that you need to get familiar with if you are an R&B/soul fan of any kind. We fully guarantee she will whisk you away with her angelic vocals and melodies. Just over two years ago, the Indian-American singer from New York dropped off her sophomore LP, Asha’s Awakening. It received some pretty positive critical acclaim, and soon she is going to be leaving off her third album. Butterflies Go in the Rain will hit streaming platforms on June 14. But before that arrives, Raveena has one more track to offer up called “Junebug” with JPEGMAFIA.

You may be wondering, “How are these starkly different artists going to mesh together?”. The answer is very well. In fact, we would even go as far as to say flawlessly. Peggy ditches the screamy and shouty cadence for a smooth and measured delivery, perfectly aligning himself with what is going on sonically. Raveena pens some sweet, but not too sugary lines about a summer love.

Raveena did explain why she likes working with other artists that are so unique compared to her, which helps put the pieces of the puzzle together. According to Stereogum, she says, “I love inviting people with vastly different sonic landscapes to my music. To me, it is proof of our oneness and divine inter-connectedness. JPEGMAFIA brought the perfect energy to this summertime song — and I think we both aligned on this song with our mutual love for the tropics, with me being from India and Peggy from Jamaica.”

What are your thoughts on “Junebug” by Raveena and JPEGMAFIA? Is this one of his better songs of the summer so far, why or why not?
