Benny The Butcher, Stove God Cooks, And Hit-Boy Producing Nothing But Heat On “One Foot In”

Benny The Butcher has been hyping up his forthcoming record as one of, if not the best projects of the year. He has done so for several months as the tape was constantly pushed back. But, it might be better for it, as it shows that Benny is taking his time with this release. The project we are referring to is Everybody Can’t Go.

On top of that build-up, Benny also was teasing a track with Lil Wayne on social media. It was eventually released as “Big Dog” and that song was outstanding. Production was provided by The Alchemist as well, as it was a symphony of sound and lyricism. This latest taster is also another heavy hitter.

French Montana Gears Up For “Mac & Cheese 5” With “Okay” Featuring Lil Baby

French Montana is one of the rappers that people thoroughly enjoy, or they avoid his music at all costs. The ones who fall into the latter category feel that he lacks any semblance of a flow, has low energy, and does not have much to say. However, there are a lot of rappers out there, subjectively speaking, who fit that bill. Furthermore, what is fascinating about that is people will defend those other names to death.

Unfortunately, Montana deals with that. It is especially true when he has created a lane for himself. One that he has existed in for nearly 20 years if you can believe that. It is good to see that he continues to push out music regularly. 2023 has been another busy year for the Moroccan-born rapper. Coke Boys 6 and its deluxe Money Heist Edition, have been the highlights of his year.

Real Boston Richey And YTB Fatt Are A Duo We Might Need From After Dropping “Real Type”

Florida’s own Real Boston Richey has been making sure to up the ante when it comes to bringing out new material. Even though he has only been releasing tracks to DSPs since 2021, Richey is making it clear he wants to provide as many bangers as he can in a year. The way he has done this is by putting out 10 (now 11) singles. Additionally, we have gotten an album as well. Welcome To Bubba Land was a 16-track project that ran about 43 minutes long.

It was also a solo project to boot. Richey’s style is very similar to Future, which makes total sense. The up-and-comer is a signee of Pluto’s Freebandz Global music label. He possesses a deep, husky, and rough voice that makes for a perfect compliment to the trap beat he raps over. We mentioned he upped the single count to 11 and the new track is titled “The Type.”

BLP Kosher And Yung Lean Compliment Each Other Well On “Violent Lullaby”

One of the most comical rappers that is on the rise right now is BLP Kosher. The Boca Raton, Florida native has been making waves this year for his unique comedy and gut-busting bars. His approach to music shares some distant similarities with Lil Dicky and Yung Gravy. But, Kosher manages to stand out from the crowd.

While we all know music is subjective, it still might be hard to find a lot of people who can get down with his style. However, if you want an easier introduction to the mind of Kosher, this new single might do the trick. Following up on his 2023 project, Bars Mitzvah, he grabs, quite frankly, an unexpected feature. He recruits cloud rap legend, Yung Lean.

Gucci Mane, B.G., And Mike WiLL Made-It Drop A “Cold” Single

Gucci Mane is wasting no time after the release of his latest record, Breath of Fresh Air. That project dropped on October 17 and now, we have a new single to check out. This one features production from one of his most frequent beatmakers, Mike WiLL Made-It. However, he also grabs a rap feature.

For the first time ever, the Atlanta legend taps B.G. for this brand-new single, “Cold.” Both of these rappers have something they can relate to. Each of them served some time behind bars. It seems Gucci and B.G. are celebrating being free from their sentences.

Timbaland Is Gearing Up For A New Album, Collabs With VITA For “Desire”

Timbaland is one of the most respected producers of all time. However, he did catch some heat for his recent comments about Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake’s old fling. The controversial comments came shortly after the pop singer released her tell-all memoir a few weeks ago. He publicly apologized on social media and things seem to have settled down.

On the flip side, his music career continues to go strong. He recently released a fun party banger with Anna Margo. “My Way” was an effortless mix of early 2000s and modern R&B. The only producer who can do that so effectively is Timbaland. Now, we know that this has the potential to be the lead single for his forthcoming album, Textbook Timbo.

H.E.R. Brings Her Own Twist To The Foo Fighters’ “The Glass”

H.E.R. possesses one of the most soulful and elegant voices in all of R&B. Unfortunately, her career is at a bit of a crossroads right now. What we mean by that is she has slowed down her musical production she appears to be following a trend of releasing a new album every two years. However, it seems that might not continue this year.

The only material she has put out this year was a solo single released back in May called “The Journey.” Additionally, she has been a part of a remixed single with Asake. “Lonely At The Top” dropped just a couple of days ago and there is also an acoustic version with H.E.R., too. Now, she is back to “remix” another single.

She teams up with the popular alternative rock band, Foo Fighters. They have a brand-new album out now called But Here We Are. One of the tracks “The Glass” has a more mellow and sentimental tone to it. While this is an unexpected collaboration, we can see why H.E.R. fits on this song. Foo Fighters vocals are removed and she covers the track with an even more chill production style. It is the perfect song to grab your significant other for and slow dance with.

What are your initial thoughts on this brand-new single from H.E.R. and the Foo Fighters, “The Glass?” Is this one of the best covers of all time? Is H.E.R. still an underrated R&B singer?
