Yesterday (October 24), Charlamagne Tha God sat down with Anderson Cooper on CNN to discuss the U.S. Presidential election live. Their conversation ended up taking a heated turn when Charlamagne called out networks like CNN for their coverage of Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. He questioned why they refuse to cover Trump as a “fascist,” and choose to focus more on other topics such as Harris’ race.

“It’s cr*zy because you still don’t have news networks having that conversation, like when somebody says, when somebody questions Kamala Harris’s Blackness or is she a DEI hire, you all will have roundtable discussions about that, asking that question. How come we’re not having a roundtable discussion asking is Donald Trump a fascist? Actually not even asking, he’s stating it,” Charlamagne wondered. “How come that is not the topic of discussion on networks like CNN every day?”

Cooper responded, claiming to “talk about this every night,” but Charlamagne persisted. “I don’t think y’all have enough conversations about it. I feel like I heard more on this network about is Kamala Harris Black than I do about Donald Trump being a fascist,” he explained. Cooper fired back, insisting that those conversations simply aren’t taking place. “Honestly, that’s bullsh*t,” he said. “I’m sorry. I’m a fan of yours, but to say that we‘re sitting around discussing is Kamala Harris Black…”

50 Cent Will Reportedly Perform At The Republican National Convention

50 Cent is reportedly on the schedule to perform at the Republican National Convention, which kicked off in Milwaukee on Monday. According to CNN’s Victor Blackwell, the GOP convention currently expects the legendary New York rapper to take the stage; however, “plans could still change.” The move comes after his hit song, “Many Men,” soared back onto the charts in the wake of Donald Trump surviving an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.

50 shared an edited version of his Get Rich or Die Tryin’ cover featuring the former president’s face on his body, earlier this week. In the caption, he wrote: “Trump gets shot and now I’m trending.” With the report that he may be appearing at the R.N.C., fans on social media have been highly critical of the rapper.

“He’s the perfect fit. His movies and TV shows show black men in the worst possible light as drug dealers and killers. Exactly what the GOP represents us as,” one user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote. Another remarked: “Yet another felon, who can’t vote anyways, so his opinion does not matter.”

John Legend Gets Candid Discussing The Allegations Made Against Diddy

It’s been a pretty difficult year for Diddy so far. Numerous lawsuits have been filed against the rap mogul. They’re alleging years of bad behavior with some even roping in fellow celebrities and behind-the-scenes collaborators. It’s put many of the people Diddy has worked aside in his decades-long career in an uncomfortable position. Certain figures like Yung Miami and LeBron James were silent for a surprisingly long time. Both unfollowed the rap mogul earlier this month after facing criticism for their seeming lack of acknowledgment of the accusations against him.

Now John Legend is breaking his silence on the situation. He and Diddy have collaborated musically in the past, but he didn’t do the rap mogul any favors with his candid statement. In particular, Legend discussed the controversy between Diddy and Cassie. It began last year with a lawsuit the singer filed before being escalated a few weeks ago. “I was horrified by the descriptions that I read before the video evidence came out,” Legend began when asked about the situation. “And absolutely it’s something that needs to be brought to light when it happens. My default stance is to believe women when they make these accusations and to make sure that we do whatever we can to support women” he elaborated. In addition to many of the lawsuits filed against him Diddy is also facing a federal investigation. Earlier this week, CNN reported some information involving a male prostitute caught on camera at the rap mogul’s house. They also claim that he plays a role in the federal investigation.

Diddy’s Former Makeup Artist Alleges She Heard Him Abusing Cassie First-Hand

In the past few months, things have gotten worse and worse for Diddy. It started last year when Cassie filed a lawsuit against him alleging she was abused. That became the first in a series of lawsuits that continued up until last week when he was hit with yet another one. Though the Cassie suit was settled quickly it rushed back into the minds of fans earlier this month after CNN leaked a video. The video they shared was hotel security camera footage that shows an alleged example of the abuse Cassie reported facing.

Now even more details about him and Cassie are emerging and this time its from first-hand testimony. The story is being provided by Diddy’s former makeup artist Mylah Morales. During a recent interview with CNN she claimed that she once overheard the rap mogul abusing Cassie. Her story details even event happening all the way back in 2010, a full six years before the hotel security footage. As for Ramaswamy, many likened him to Trump in the way he spoke and carried himself. In fact, CNN host Van Jones called him a demagogue who will be alive well after Trump has passed away. Jones noted that this is not a good thing, and that he worries for the future of the country. Subsequently, Ramaswamy was asked about Jones’ comments on a public platform. It was here where he told Jones “shut the f*ck up.” It was a crass response, and he got to explain himself while sitting down with VladTV.

Cam’ron is officially retiring the outfit he wore for his viral interview on CNN, last week. He made the comedic announcement in a video on Instagram, over the weekend. In doing so, he filmed himself talking to the clothing as he confirmed they’d made it into his hall of fame.

“You had a legendary week, man,” he said to the outfit. “I’m not leaving you guys; I’m just letting you know I’m proud of you. You going in the Hall of Fame. I’m proud, man. I gotta put y’all into the Hall of Fame. I can’t wear y’all again. Y’all had a Hall of Fame week. Look at the rays of light shining down on y’all. You in the hall of fame, man.”

However, when the interviewer pressed him on the topic, things went off the rails. “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean do I recognize him?” he said at one point. “What do you mean my experiences? I seen it and I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t zoom in to see if it was really him, but he admitted it was him.”

Jemele Hill Questions Why Cam’ron Went On CNN: “Something Ain’t Adding Up”

Jemele Hill has questioned why Cam’ron agreed to go on CNN to discuss the allegations against Diddy during the viral interview with Abby Phillip from Monday night. Taking to Twitter the following morning, Hill theorized that the Dipset rapper did so as a publicity stunt. The segment went viral as Cam’ron became uncooperative as the questioning continued. He also promoted It Is What It Is and his Pink Horse Power supplement.

“So, something ain’t adding up,” Hill began. “I’ve done CNN hundreds of times, including Abby’s show. Before every single appearance, a producer tells me or someone on my team what my segment is about and the types of questions that I’ll be asked. If you aren’t a regular, the producers typically insist on a pre-interview with either you, or someone on your team, who relays your talking points.”

She continued: “So either 1) a producer didn’t tell him or his team what kind of questions he would be asked or 2) a producer told him or someone on his team and he purposely decided to use this opportunity as a publicity stunt anyway … or someone in his camp didn’t tell him what he was being asked. And I’m betting that if someone in his camp didn’t tell him what he would be asked, they’re not going to admit that they messed up. Cam’ron Explains What Went Down During Viral CNN Interview

Cam’ron went viral last night thanks to an appearance he had on CNN. During the appearance, Cam was asked about the situation involving Diddy and Cassie. However, Cam didn’t seem interested in delivering any real answers. Instead, he promoted his Pink Horse Power supplement that is meant to be for male enhancement. It led to a hilarious yet awkward moment that has taken the internet by storm. Furthermore, it has created a debate surrounding whether or not Cam was out of pocket for his comments. Meanwhile, others argue that CNN should have never invited him on.

Today, Cam’ron filmed It Is What It Is, where Mase and Stat Baby were on the edge of their seats, waiting for Cam to explain what went down. As you will hear in the clip below, Cam took issue with the fact that they wanted to have him on to talk about a negative situation. Cam noted that he and Mase are doing positive things for the community, but CNN is not interested in them. The artist noted that if CNN wanted to invite him up for ” the bullshit,” they should have expected bullshit in return.

Cam did go on to make it clear that he does not support domestic violence, pedophilia, sex trafficking, or anything of the sort. He understands that the Diddy video is “egregious,” and he would never endorse that kind of thing. Regardless, he felt like CNN should have known he would have given a bad interview given his history on shows like 60 Minutes and The O’Reilly Factor.

CNN Had Cam’ron Talk About Diddy, And The Result Was A Predictable, Hilarious Mess

There’s very little funny about the Sean “Diddy” Combs situation lately, but thanks to the cluelessness of CNN’s interview booker, hip-hop fans are having a good chuckle anyway.

Cam’ron, who once gave the world the “You mad” meme after Bill O’Reilly foolishly tried to debate him, delivered another doozy of an interview with Abby Phillips. The result was (predictably) a hilarious mess.

The notoriously elusive Harlem rapper stubbornly refused to give many straight answers about Diddy (“The apology ain’t for me to decide, it’s Cassie… he ain’t do nothin’ to me”), chugged a pre-sex energy drink (“Sorry, I’m going to get some cheeks after this”), and pointed out that his podcast co-host Mase had more experience dealing with Diddy — whom Cam insisted on continuing to call “Puff,” despite Combs changing his nicknames three times since then.

The coup de grâce was Cam plugging the It Is What It Is podcast right before questioning “Who the talent agent for this joint? You think I be sitting around watching what Diddy do? … Who booked me for this joint?”

Even better, on today’s episode of It Is What It Is, Cam and Mase addressed the disastrous interview, with Cam complaining that the interview wasn’t about their podcast or philanthropy, but Diddy. “You call me on CNN for the bullsh*t, I’m a give you the bullsh*t,” he proclaimed, while crowing about the free promo.

And you know what? The man makes a pretty good point. The media ignores hip-hop when rappers do positive things, but loves to highlight crimes, shootings, and controversy. Cam’s interview is a good reminder that there are two sides to the coin.
